While strolling through Helsinki, Finland a few years ago, Billy met a busking musician who loaned him his guitar. My take on the most recognizable guitar tone in history, Boston's 'More Than a Feeling' guitar solo! 🎸Tom Scholz delivered one of rock's happiest, most nostalgic leads ever. Took him years in his basement to perfect! He actually created his guitar amp, the famous Rockman, used heavily in the 80s by bands like Def Leppard and ZZ Top. Also, the debut Boston album was fully recorded on his personal studio and the record company wanted them to rerecord everything in a proper studio but Tom Scholz refused.
