Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Ishaq Dar and H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait, co-chaired delegation-level talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two sides reviewed the entire spectrum of Pakistan–Kuwait bilateral relations and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, energy, labour, agriculture, information technology, health, mining and minerals, defence, and the broader economic partnership. They agreed to further institutionalise bilateral cooperation through enhanced institutional linkages and regular high-level exchanges. The two sides also reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination and cooperation at multilateral forums on issues of mutual interest. The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister thanked the Government and people of Pakistan for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality extended to him and his delegation. He also expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s support to Kuwait during the COVID-19 pandemic. #ISPR Rawalpindi, 27 October 2025 Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (#COAS), #Pakistan Army, who is on an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of #Jordan, called on His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was also present during the meeting. During the meeting, both dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest, with particular focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation in defence and security, and exchanging perspectives on regional developments. COAS conveyed warm regards from the people, Government, and Armed Forces of Pakistan to His Majesty the King and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening fraternal ties with Jordan. His Majesty appreciated the professionalism and contributions of the Pakistan Armed Forces towards regional peace and stability and expressed his desire to further strengthen defence collaboration between the two brotherly countries. Earlier Field Marshal Asim Munir also called on Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, at the General Headquarters, Amman. Makkah Al-Mukarramah Summit for Joint Defence. At the gracious invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. #ISPR General Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), Chief of Army Staff (#COAS) is on an official visit to the Federal Republic of #Germany DG ISPR #PakistanArmy #Pakistan During the visit he was received at the Federal Ministry of Defence by General Carsten Breuer, Chief of Defence where he was presented with Honour Guard by the contingent of German Armed Forces. Chief of Army Staff also met Lieutenant General Alfons Mais, Chief of the German Army and visited the Army Combat Training Centre, Gardelegen along with the German Army Chief. The COAS was briefed on various facets of the centre and the training being imparted to the German Army and contingents of other Armies. He also witnessed a demonstration on urban warfare and visited different training facilities. COAS also met Mr Jens Plötner, Foreign Policy and Security advisor to Federal Chancellor; Mr Tobias Linder, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Mr Nils Hilmer, State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence. During meetings with the civilian and military leadership matters of mutual interest came under discussion. German leadership acknowledged Pakistan Army’s role in fight against Terrorism and for maintaining peace and stability in the region. COAS will also be visiting the German Armed Forces Command & Staff College, Hamburg where he will address the students attending the course from various countries to dilate upon Pakistan’s Regional and International Security Perspective and contributions of Pakistan Armed Forces in the United Nations Missions.

During the cordial meeting, the Prime Minister warmly welcomed the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and conveyed his best wishes to the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
