Happy Sunday you lovely people, and another fantastic walk in the rain today! I have got to give a massive shout out to a new comer to our group this week. Young man called Aditya who travelled all the way from Harrow after seeing our walks on socials media and done all 6 miles up the front with me today, very proud of him. It’s great to see our Sunday walks building, new friendships forming and fellas looking out for one another. If you want to join us. We do this every single Sunday morning at 8am from The Thatches Arms Warley in Brentwood. Thank you to everyone that came, I’m already excited for next week. And of course. Thank you to all the companies that have started supporting us with all the lovely goodies to give away to all that attend. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day. Bosh❤️

RIP OUR SWEET BEAUTIFUL GIRL, Hollyanne 💔💔💔💔💔💔 7 years ago we rescued this beautiful young pony, Clondalkin, Dublin. She was in a field and could barely walk, her legs tired, exhausted and shattered, her frail body so skinny💔😡 She had been used on a sulky trap, far to young, legs still developing, so cruel 💔😡 We did everything for her, she had our specialist farrier Brian with her every few weeks. UCD Vets monitored her throughout her life while with us and our lovely vet John would always visit her too when at the farm. To say we loved, adored and treasured Hollyanne is an understatement. We knew the day would come when pain would take over and the hardest decision would have to be made. Sadly Hollyanne had severe navicular disease and arthritis and it was getting worst. When both navicular disease and arthritis progress together, it makes it a struggle to walk comfortably no matter what we did it wasn’t helping anymore. Hollyanne was losing her appetite and spirit due to chronic pain Letting her go was the kindest and loving decision, freeing her from suffering. Now the pain is in all our hearts, one of our MLHR family members is gone, we are broken hearted 💔💔💔 RUN FREE NOW HOLLYANNE, we will never ever let you out of our hearts and minds ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💔💔❤️❤️

To mark her 44th birthday yesterday, the Princess of Wales meaningfully released a “personal reflection on ‘what it means to be alive’ following her cancer ordeal of 2024 and subsequent remission❤️‍🩹 The video, was the final iteration of her ‘Mother Nature” series, and focused on “Winter” as a season where one can ‘come to peace with tears’. A powerful message👌🏽 The reflection was all the more personal that it was filmed back in 2024, in the middle of her chemotherapy ordeal, and Catherine is seen a lone figure, walking through a quiet Berkshire Forest, a deeply significant location. Berkshire is where she was born and raised, those woods are woods she walked with her family when she was just another country girl with dreams and aspirations❤️ Berkshire is where her parents still live in Buckleburry Manour; where her sister Pippa and her family also chose to live and where her brother James also lives with his new family. Therefore, for the final iteration of her Mother Nature series, Catherine was back to her roots, the Middleton family fold in Berkshire, to discuss for the first time the deep feeling of “Fear” that she experienced during her Cancer journey and “the tears” she shed❤️‍🩹 That agonising Fear is very familiar to anyone who has experienced Cancer or who has a loved one who has experienced Cancer. It is a deep fear that brings torment into our very core: The fear of being separated forever from our loved ones, the fear of dying too soon and realising that there is a lot we put to tomorrow that now, we might never get to do💔 This is a deeply personal aspect of Cancer that Catherine had yet to discuss throughout her cancer ordeal. Indeed, we have seen the Princess show strength, grace and optimism under pressure and under the worldwide bullying she experienced while dealing with Cancer. Isn’t that what strong women are expected to do? Isn’t that what life teaches strong women to do? Never show weakness in public. A strong woman smile in public and cries in private. Yet, for her 44th birthday, Catherine finally and meaningfully, chose to lift the veil behind her signature poise and calm, to acknowledge the tears and fears she had to overcome in Private, in order to show us “the Strong and optimistic Catherine” we saw in Public🔥 In the voiceover, she says: ‘Even in the coldest, darkest season, winter has a way of bringing us stillness, patience and quiet consideration. To mark her 44th birthday yesterday, the Princess of Wales meaningfully released a “personal reflection on ‘what it means to be alive’ following her cancer ordeal of 2024 and subsequent remission❤️‍🩹 The video, was the final iteration of her ‘Mother Nature” series, and focused on “Winter” as a season where one can ‘come to peace with tears’. A powerful message👌🏽 The reflection was all the more personal that it was filmed back in 2024, in the middle of her chemotherapy ordeal, and Catherine is seen a lone figure, walking through a quiet Berkshire Forest, a deeply significant location. Berkshire is where she was born and raised, those woods are woods she walked with her family when she was just another country girl with dreams and aspirations❤️ Berkshire is where her parents still live in Buckleburry Manour; where her sister Pippa and her family also chose to live and where her brother James also lives with his new family. We laughed, we cried, we prayed, and oh boy, did we dance! 💃 But wait, there's more! The 1970s 4th of July… when your parents would hand you a whole box of sparklers, Black Cats, and bottle rockets with nothing more than a casual “Don’t blow your hand off, now!” before heading back to the grill. Sparklers for the toddlers (who immediately tried to write their names in the dark), potato salad that had been sitting out since 10 a.m., and the occasional bottle rocket that may or may not have been aimed anywhere near your cousin. But the part that really gets me? The whole neighborhood dragging lawn chairs into the street, passing around cold drinks, and just sitting there together watching the sky. No phones. No schedules. Just laughter, the smell of gunpowder and charcoal, and that quiet feeling that you belonged to something bigger than yourself. Those nights gave us more than we knew at the time — a little independence, a little trust from the grown-ups, and the kind of simple, shared joy that sticks with you for life. We learned how to be careful without being scared, how to look out for the little kids, and how good it feels when a whole street stops and looks up together. As we head into another Independence Day, I’m grateful for those memories… and for the freedom that still lets us make new ones with the people we love. All of this is accompanied by a song I wrote, which I consider a Motivational Anthem that represents us because it perfectly reflects Floki’s philosophy. We are a warrior-like, united community that has gone through many situations that have greatly strengthened us—moments that have made us grow and move forward. No matter how many times we’ve stumbled and fallen along the way, what matters is that we always stand firm to keep advancing with commitment, humility, brotherhood, and respect. THAT’S FLOKI!❤️💪 ☀️In the video, you can see the communication campaign I carried out to give great visibility to the FLOKI project in my region: 🔹 The projection of "Nosotros somos Floki" through a large digital advertising screen in the center of the capital (Caracas) for 20 days, a highly trafficked and visible location, where all passersby could see it and learn about the project. 🔸 Participation in sports activities (sports marathon) wearing the Floki logo and joining the race alongside more than 500 runners. 🔹 Creation of several giant Floki masks, which roamed the city for days displaying the Floki logo to people and raising awareness about the project among all passersby and vehicles in the area. 🔸 A Viking visits the city wearing a Viking helmet and a LED-lit bag with the Floki logo, interacting warmly with people, handing out informational flyers about Floki, and sharing details about this great project. Several children and adults took the opportunity to take photos with him for an unforgettable memory. 🔹 With the help of a friend, I made fondant cakes featuring the well-designed Floki logo, which I then displayed and distributed to various people on some streets of my city. 🔸 Three guys dance to the rhythm of a catchy song, with lyrics I wrote based on the philosophy that has characterized us as the FLOKI community: “FLOKI LLEGÓ, FLOKI GANÓ” (translated into several languages). The guys dance among the crowd in one of the most iconic and busy parks in my city, wearing shirts with the Floki logo and projecting the joy that has always defined us as a Viking community. Floki is here to stay, continuing to gain adoption, growth, and success. 🔹 Together with my children, I created a very traditional, recreational, and typical game from my country and Latin America, a “volantín, papalote, papagayo, cometa, barrilete” (kite) with the Floki logo, to symbolize that this project has become rooted in our culture and is part of us. This kite was flown in the sky, reaching great heights, just as the FLOKI project has done throughout all these years. 🔸 At the beginning of the video, a runner is shown starting a race, representing the beginnings of FLOKI, a journey full of ups and downs and challenges that have been overcome thanks to the commitment, responsibility, and hard work of an entire team. At the end of the video, the runner raises their hands in a gesture of victory, reflecting everything we as a community have achieved, knowing that the race is not over yet. At 9 a.m., animal care staff presented Bao Li with a special panda-friendly fruitsicle cake made by the Zoo’s Department of Nutrition Science. Commissary keepers crafted the multi-tiered cake using frozen diluted pineapple juices. The treat was decorated with Bao Li’s favorite treats, including apples, carrots, sweet potatoes, blueberries and leafeater biscuits. The cake was topped with 4 “candles” made from one of the pandas’ favorite foods: sugar cane! . . . 🎉🎂 Bao Li made a beeline straight for his cake. He snacked on a piece of sugar cane first, then plucked an apple from the top. He chewed each treat slowly, seeming to savor every bite!
