I was at the National Mosque, Abuja, earlier today, where I joined the congregation in prayers for our fallen heroes as the nation prepares to mark the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day. Our prayers shall continue to be with the families of members of our Armed Forces who paid the supreme price to make our nation safer. In these solemn moments, we remember that sacrifice with deep appreciation. Indeed, the role our Armed Forces played and continue to play in keeping our nation safe and safeguarding the territorial integrity of our dear country cannot be overemphasised. We remain eternally grateful. May their service to the nation and the sacrifices they made never be in vain. I also had the pleasure of attending the wedding fatiha of the daughter of my late friend, the Ex CG of Customs, Alhaji Ahmed Hamma Kojoli, at the same venue. I congratulate the couple and wish them a happy home. -AA
