There is mounting evidence of organ theft from Palestinian bodies returned by Israel, according to Gaza health officials and forensic observations. In an interview with Al Araby Television Network, Dr. Mohammed Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, said two days ago that Gaza has received bodies and boxes of human remains showing signs of deliberate tampering, including amputated limbs, surgically stitched incisions, and isolated skulls and bones delivered without identification or medical documentation. Abu Salmiya said some bodies bore medical sutures inconsistent with battlefield injuries, raising serious suspicions that organs were removed while victims were in Israeli custody. Gaza has no DNA testing equipment due to Israel’s blockade, forcing medical teams to rely on visual markers, clothing, and photographs—methods largely useless given the severe mutilation and decomposition of remains, the doctor said. Israel continues to withhold information on the identities and circumstances of death, while international mechanisms have failed to compel transparency.
