A new survey by IDI’s Viterbi Center for Public Opinion and Policy Research shows that a large majority of Israelis across the political spectrum think that it is likely that President Trump will “exert real pressure on Israel, perhaps even sanctions, if the Netanyahu-led government does not align with his initiatives in the Middle East, such as a normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia.” An overwhelming majority of Israelis (72.5%) also credit Trump for the initiation of the hostage deal.
