ابونصر بزنطی رضوان‌الله تعالی علیه می‌گوید: به امام جواد علیه‌السلام گفتم: گروهی از مخالفان شما می‌گویند: مأمون، لقب رضا را به پدرت داده است! زیرا او به ولایت‌عهدی راضی شد. امام جواد علیه‌السلام فرمودند: به خدا سوگند، دروغ گفته و گناهکار شده‌اند. پدرم را خدای تعالی رضا لقب داده است؛ زیرا که او به خداوندی خدا در آسمانش و به رسالت رسول الله و ائمه در زمینش راضی بود. گفتم: مگر همه پدرانت چنین نبودند؟ فرمود: آری. گفتم: پس چرا فقط پدرت به این لقب ملقب شده است؟ فرمود: چون مخالفان از دشمنانش مانند موافقان از دوستانش از وی راضی شدند و چنین چیزی برای پدرانش به وجود نیامد، لذا از میان همه به رضا ملقب گردید 📚علل الشرایع، ج ۲، ص ۲۳۷، باب ۱۷۲. #امام_رضا #امام_رئوف
