When Judge Napolitano asked me on his show how Syria ended up with Abu Mohammed al-Jolani as its “president,” I could almost hear the cognitive dissonance on the other side of the screen. How does a man who was once the emir of al-Qaeda in Syria, a co-founder of ISIS by any reasonable historical reading of his trajectory, become Washington’s chosen man in Damascus? For me, the answer is not a mystery. It is the logical end of a dirty war that began not with Syrian protesters in 2011, but in an American-run prison camp in Iraq years earlier. And if anyone still suspected this was “just a conspiracy theory,” a former CIA officer – John Kiriakou, who went to prison for exposing CIA torture – has now said publicly what many of us have long argued: Jolani is, in all likelihood, a CIA asset. Let’s start with the timeline, because the timeline alone already screams “intelligence operation.” Abu Mohammed al-Jolani was in a CIA-run prison in Iraq – Camp Bucca – alongside another familiar name: Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Both men were released in early 2011. “Coincidentally,” that is exactly when the regime-change war in Syria begins. Within weeks, Baghdadi goes on to lead what becomes ISIS, and Jolani crosses into Syria to found Jabhat al-Nusra – officially al-Qaeda’s franchise in my country. Washington designates Nusra a terrorist organization. The UN follows suit. On paper, Jolani is the enemy. The State Department even slaps a $10 million bounty on his head. But bounties are cheap. Cruise missiles are expensive. And for over a decade, while the US flattened cities in Iraq and Syria allegedly to fight “terrorism,” it somehow never found the time, or the coordinates, to seriously target Jolani or his core command structure, even though he controlled large swaths of Syrian territory from Aleppo countryside all the way to Idlib. Because Jolani and his men were fighting the one government Washington had already decided must go: the Syrian state under Bashar al-Assad. This is where Operation Timber Sycamore comes in: a multi-billion-dollar CIA covert program that funneled weapons, money, and training to so-called “rebels” in Syria. They were sold to Western audiences as “moderate opposition.” On the ground, those moderates were a disappearing species. What existed in reality were hardline Salafi-jihadist factions, with Nusra at the top of the food chain. The Free Syrian Army (FSA) was the mask, the logo on the paperwork, the brand name you could sell to Congress and CNN. The real muscle on the ground was Jolani’s men and other takfiri groups, who did the actual fighting, took the actual territory, and imposed their version of rule. Weapons went “to the moderates.” The moderates magically handed them to al-Qaeda. Everyone in Washington pretended to be surprised. No one stopped the pipeline. Over the years, the mask slipped. US officials themselves began to speak of Jolani as something more than just a former enemy. James Jeffrey, Washington’s former envoy to Syria, openly called Jolani “an asset” for US strategy – not my word, his. Robert Ford, the former US ambassador to Syria, has publicly admitted that he personally worked with Jolani to “take him out of the world of terrorism” and polish him into a politician. Think about what that means: the same US that claims to be fighting an endless war against al-Qaeda quietly devotes diplomatic energy to rehabilitating the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda into a partner, a useful strongman, a future head of state. I said on the show, and I repeat it here: I believe Jolani was recruited in Camp Bucca. The timeline makes no sense otherwise. You don’t walk out of an American-run prison and, weeks later, magically have the networks, the money, the arms, and the logistical capacity to found al-Qaeda in Syria, right at the moment when Washington and its allies need a battering ram against Damascus. Recently, former CIA director David Petraeus even sat with Jolani and told him, “Your success is our success.” What more do people need? A signed employment contract? But let’s assume, for a moment, that you still think this is a stretch. Enter John Kiriakou. Kiriakou is not a YouTuber chasing clicks. He is a former CIA officer who went to prison because he exposed the torture program and named the torturers. His loyalty is clearly not to the Agency’s PR department. Recently, on Unfettered Speech, he described the Jolani situation bluntly. Here is the essence of what he said, which Judge Napolitano played on air: -The “new president” of Syria is a former al-Qaeda member and a co-founder of ISIS. -This same man is welcomed at the White House. -Senior US officials, including the Assistant Secretary of State for the Near East, travel to meet him. -President Trump suddenly lifts sanctions on Syria as Jolani consolidates power, prompting Syrians – desperate and exhausted – to dance in the streets. The only thing that makes sense is that Jolani is a CIA asset, per Kiriakou’s. When a former CIA officer who has already sacrificed his career and freedom to tell the truth looks at the pattern and says, “This is our guy,” it is not a conspiracy theory anymore. Now, you may ask, why would the United States and its allies back such a man? The answer lies in what Syria used to be, and what it has now been turned into. Before this war, Syria, for all its flaws, was a horizontally integrated state. People identified themselves as Syrian first and then Armenian, Druze, Christian, Alawite, Sunni, Shi’a, Kurdish, and so on. The state’s foreign policy aligned with Iran and Hezbollah, supported Palestinian factions, and kept a real deterrent posture toward Israel. For Washington and Tel Aviv, this was unacceptable. The goal was not “democracy”; that word is just wrapping paper. The real objective was to remove a government allied with Iran and replace it with a fragmented landscape: a weak central authority in Damascus, surrounded by sectarian cantons and warlord enclaves, all dependent on foreign patrons. Jolani is perfect for this role. For Israel, he brings vertical division. A man with a long al-Qaeda pedigree ruling Syria is a nightmare for minorities: Christians, Druze, Alawites, Shi’a, many Kurds, and other smaller communities. They will not accept al-Qaeda rule. So they retreat into their own militias, their own cantons, their own de facto mini-states, exactly in line with old Israeli strategic doctrines like the Yinon Plan, which openly advocated fragmenting neighboring states along sectarian lines. On the ground, we already see it: -Druze militias running their own affairs in the south with quiet Israeli backing. -Kurdish forces in the northeast under US protection, managing their own autonomous zone. -Alawites discussing an autonomous coastal enclave. -Christians living in silence and fear. You don’t need formal borders on a map to balkanize a country. When I, as a Syrian of Armenian origin, stop thinking of myself as Syrian first and start thinking purely as Armenian, when I instinctively fear my neighbor because he is from another sect, the balkanization has already happened in the mind. For Washington, Jolani is equally “useful.” He has promised to normalize relations with Israel, to open Syria’s markets to Western capital, and to hand over the country’s resources from the hydrocarbons east of the Euphrates to the gas fields under the Mediterranean to American and allied companies. A 24-million-person country reduced to a reconstruction market: $300 billion worth of contracts, infrastructure projects, and “investments.” But for investors to feel safe, they need a strongman in Damascus who can project the illusion of stability while remaining utterly dependent on foreign protection. That strongman, in their design, is Abu Mohammed al-Jolani. But Jolani is not acting alone. Around him is a constellation of Western intelligence veterans and “conflict resolution” NGOs acting as intermediaries. British MI6 circles, under figures like Jonathan Powell – former chief of staff to Tony Blair – are central in managing this process. Powell runs an organization called Inter Mediate, which specializes in “talking to armed groups.” Behind the humanitarian language lies political engineering. One of Inter Mediate’s operatives, a woman named Clare Haigh, is now said to have an office inside the Syrian presidential palace, advising Jolani on how to talk, how to dress, how to handle journalists, how to sell himself as a reformed jihadist turned statesman. And then there is Qatar. Ahmed Zaidan – once Osama bin Laden’s favorite journalist, photographed sipping tea with him and broadcasting his tapes on Al Jazeera – is now a personal adviser to Jolani. Make it make sense. An al-Qaeda emir, handled by US and British intelligence veterans, advised by bin Laden’s favorite media man, massaged by Western PR consultants, welcomed in Washington, and crowned in Damascus as “president.” If you wrote this as fiction, an editor would tell you it’s too on the nose. Since Jolani took power through an international and regional deal that pushed Assad aside, over 11,000 people have been killed. Many of them are from the very minorities the West loves to mention in speeches but abandons in practice. Videos circulate of his fighters asking terrified villagers at gunpoint, “Are you Muslim or not?” and executing those who give the “wrong” answer, including Druze and Alawites who are not recognized as “true Muslims” by their extremist ideology. Christians, who had already suffered massive emigration between 2011 and 2024, are being squeezed further. They have no organized armed force, no foreign sponsor. They are expected either to live under the mercy of an al-Qaeda-bred regime or to leave the land of their ancestors. This is what Washington’s “asset management” looks like in human terms. If you are an American reading this, you might be tempted to say: “This cannot be. My government would never knowingly empower al-Qaeda.” But it already has, repeatedly. From Afghanistan in the 1980s, when US intelligence backed the Mujahideen (and, indirectly, their Arab foreign fighter allies), to Libya and Syria in the last decade, where jihadist factions were instrumentalized against secular or nationalist governments, the pattern is clear. The names and acronyms change. The logic does not. The same establishment that lectures the world on “democracy” and “human rights” is perfectly willing to install a man like Jolani as the ruler of one of the oldest civilizations on earth, as long as he delivers strategic gains: -breaking the Iran–Syria–Hezbollah axis; -fragmenting Syria into weak, controllable pieces; -opening its resources and markets to Western and Gulf capital; -and giving Israel unprecedented strategic depth and security. Everything else – the massacres, the ethnic cleansing, the collapse of national identity, the destruction of ancient communities – is treated as collateral damage. I am often asked what Syria will look like in five or ten years. I wish I could answer with optimism. Right now, the forces pushing to turn my country into a permanent vassal state – ruled by a former al-Qaeda emir, policed by foreign intelligence, exploited by foreign capital – are incredibly strong. But nothing in this region is permanent. People who come to power by cutting off other people’s heads often lose their own. If there are still sane voices left in Western politics – people like Tulsi Gabbard 🌺, whom I mentioned on air – they must at least recognize this insanity: backing an al-Qaeda emir as “our man in Damascus” is not just immoral; it is ultimately self-destructive. Syria does not need Jolani. The West does not need Jolani. There are Syrians who can have friendly relations with the United States without being former al-Qaeda commanders, without murdering their own people, without turning an ancient nation into a laboratory for extremist social engineering. The question is not whether such alternatives exist. They do. The question is whether Washington and its allies want a sovereign, stable Syria, or whether they prefer a shattered, cantonized carcass kept alive just enough for the next “asset” to feed on.

Alawites on a Syrian TV channel !! The private channel Syria TV recently hosted Nawar Najma, a member of the Supreme Committee for Parliamentary Member Selection, appointed by al-Jolani, at a symposium in #Damascus. What stood out was that young Alawite men and women were brought in to ask questions, which is a first since the regime’s fall. I mentioned once that Jolanists has been increasingly critical of the shifting coverage on channels tied to Azmi Bishara -who essentially serves as Qatar’s Arab media face- particularly for airing street opinions that include criticism of al-Jolani’s rule. Syria TV is one of those channels. But allowing Alawites to appear on air and openly criticize al-Jolani goverment and its treatment of their community? That caught even us off guard. The symposium sparked furious backlash from the Jolanists. For anyone unfamiliar with Syrian media reality: nothing is spontaneous on television. Every single person who appears, even from the audience, is handpicked in advance. The Alawites who appeared criticized their political marginalization and what they described as sectarian treatment. The truth is, tying Alawites collectively to the former regime is nothing more than a justification for the current terrorist regime’s dictatorship and its systematic exclusion of all religious and ethnic minorities. This talking point isn’t just pushed by Jolanists, it’s also echoed by Western researchers, academics, and “jihadist” defenders here on X who pretend to be neutral but in fact are aligned with al-Jolani. This kind of framing is intellectually dishonest and deeply harmful. It scapegoats Alawites, provides cover for their political exclusion both before and after the regime’s fall, and helps rationalize the sectarian crimes committed against them on a daily base, a community of over five million Syrians. The reality is that throughout Assad’s sixty-year dictatorship, the regime’s ministers, officials, and top security figures — including ministers of defense and interior, head of intelligence, and the national security director — were predominantly #Sunni. The name lists are available on the internet, here's some: Heads of the National Security Office / National Security Mohammad Saeed Bakhtian / Sunni / until 2009 Hisham Ikhtiar / Sunni / 2009–2012 (killed in the Crisis Cell bombing) Ali Mamlouk / Sunni / 2012–2019 Mohammad Dib Zaitoun / Sunni / 2019–2024 Heads of the General Intelligence Directorate Adnan Dabbagh / Sunni / 1970–1974 Ali al-Madani / Sunni / 1974–1987 Nazih Zuhair / Sunni / 1987–1994 Fuad al-Absi / Sunni / 1994–1999 Bashir al-Najjar / Sunni / 1999–2001 Ali Mamlouk / Sunni / 2005–2010 Mohammad Dib Zaitoun / Sunni / 2012–2019 Hossam Louka / Sunni / 2019–2024 Syrian Ministers of Interior Mohammad Haydar / Sunni / 1970–1978 Adnan Dabbagh / Sunni / 1978–1980 Mohammad Saleh / Sunni / 1980–1984 Naji Jamil / Sunni / 1984–1985 Mohammad Harba / Sunni / 1985–1990 Wahib Kiyali / Sunni / 1990–1995 Mohammad Harfoush / Sunni / 1995–2000 Mohammad Hammoud / Sunni / 2001–2004 Basir Najjar / Sunni / 2005–2011 Mohammad Ibrahim al-Shaar / Sunni / 2011–2024 ⸻ And I have not yet mentioned civilian ministers, vice presidents, and general directors. Most industrial cities and factories were also built in provinces with a Sunni majority. Do you hear this kind of information in Gulf or Western media outlets? They only repeat the claim of a “Alawite regime” without clarifying the reality. They only repeat the claim of an “Alawite regime” without clarifying the reality.

Do you remember the bombing of the traffic branch in Aleppo? It was 2015 — a massive blast tore through the city, leaving dozens dead and wounded. Back then, Al Jazeera wasted no time. No investigation. No evidence. Just another headline blaming the Syrian regime. Now, ten years later, a retired Turkish intelligence officer leaks footage revealing the real perpetrator: a member of Jabhat al-Nusra, the group led by Syria’s so-called “interim president”… Jolani. Yes, the same Jolani who once slaughtered civilians… is now “ruling” Syria and caring for his “people”. And yet… the same old voices keep repeating the same tired lies. Soon enough… Bashar will be declared innocent of all charges. We’re just waiting on the rest of the Turks… to retire. A witness from the terrorists' family has testified! The truth of this revolution, which began with massacres and dirty sectarianism, has been revealed. Where are the revolutionaries in Europe now? Go ahead and live in Syria as long as you have achieved the freedom you want!? Or, after you destroyed the country, did you discover that you cannot live with Abu Amsha and Abu Qatada? What is the fault of the Syrian people after you unleashed the devils of the earth on them and you are now living in a secular, liberated and safe Europe while promoting extremist Islamic rule in Syria? For 14 years, we have been saying that overthrowing the regime with weapons and in cooperation with the West will make the alternative terrorism, which is what we see today of daily slaughter and abuse. If Sarout is the symbol of this revolution, what do you expect from it? Sarout is the one who sang about slaughtering the Alawites and slaughtered 13 people with his own hand, by his own admission!! The videos are there and we will bring down every sectarian who defends him and his revolution and you will be in international courts, you who called for terrorism. Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah Death Anniversary 11 Sep 1948 May ALLAH Grant Maghfirah to the founder of the Nation. On this occasion remembering him by sharing one of his most memorable speeches which gave the direction & way forward for Pakistan & the People of Pakistan 🇵🇰 The task ahead : Speech at a Mammoth Rally at the University Stadium, Lahore on 30th October. 1947 We have achieved our cherished goal of freedom and have established Pakistan as an independent, sovereign State, fifth largest in the world. That freedom can never be attained by a nation without suffering and sacrifice has been amply borne out by the recent tragic happenings in this subcontinent. We are in the midst of unparalleled difficulties and untold sufferings; we have been through dark days of apprehension and anguish; but I can say with confidence that with courage and self-reliance and by the Grace of God we shall emerge triumphant. If we take our inspiration and guidance from the Holy Quran, the final victory, I once again say, will be ours. Do not for a moment imagine that your enemies can ever succeed in their designs. But at the same time do not make light of the situation facing you. Search your hearts and whether you have done your part in the construction of this new and mighty State. Do not be over whelmed by the enormity of the task. There is many an example in history of young nations building themselves up by sheer determination and force of character. You are made of sterling material and are second to none. Why should you also not succeed like many others, like your own forefathers. You have only to develop the spirit of the "Mujahids". You are a nation whose history is replete with people of wonderful grit, character and heroism. Live up to your traditions and add to it another chapter of glory. All I require of you now is that everyone of us to whom this message reaches must vow to himself and be prepared to sacrifice his all, if necessary, in building up Pakistan as a bulwark of Islam and as one of the greatest nations whose ideal is peace within and peace. Your immediate task is the rehabilitation of millions of our distressed and unfortunate brethren who are either already with us or who have still to join us in Pakistan, bereft of all they possessed or had in this world. The least we now can do for them is to receive them as our own brethren. No decent or sane person should consider that they are unwelcome burden thrust on us. Save all you can and give towards the relief of these victims of bestiality and vandalism who have suffered all this for the sole reason that they are Muslims. Along with this, keep up your morale. Do not be afraid of death. Our religion teaches us to be always prepared for death. We should face it bravely to save the honor of Pakistan and Islam. There is no better salvation for a Muslim than the death of a martyr for a righteous cause. I would also impress upon every member of this State, particularly our youth, to show the right spirit of devotion, courage and fortitude, to give a lead to the others and to set a nobler and higher example for those who may follow us and the coming generations. The tenets of Islam enjoin on every Mussalman to give protection to his neighbors and to the minorities. Do your duty and have faith in God. There is no power on earth that can undo Pakistan. It has come to stay. In the end, I once again appeal to the good sense of every subject and citizen of our State not to take law and order into his own hands but so to behave and act as to be a pillar of strength to his Government and leaders who are sincerely doing their best to put an end to the miseries and hardships of our unfortunate brethren seeking shelter with us, and battling against grave danger and menace which is facing us. Full Translation of the Testimony: Peace and God's mercy be upon you. This is Mohammed Hajj Abu Obeida from the city of Latakia. I want to speak about the violations and crimes that have taken place over the past two days in Banias, Jableh, and various other regions. Today, I speak not only for myself but on behalf of every honorable person who rejects killing and injustice—on behalf of every fighter who has remained true to their oath and has not betrayed the teachings of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. My message is directed to His Eminence Sheikh Abu Muhammad al-Jolani, Ahmad al-Sharaa, and to all military commanders. Sheikh, the killings we are witnessing—the slaughter of innocent civilians in their own homes—does our religion command this? Are these truly the teachings of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace? Does his guidance instruct us to drive people from their homes and execute them in cold blood? By God, this is not why we took up arms. We did not fight for this. Had we been in the wrong, we would never have taken up arms in the first place. We rose up because we were oppressed, because we sought justice—not to displace families, commit murder, and destroy livelihoods. Yet now, we see factions entering Alawite villages, expelling civilians, and killing them in cold blood. These are the remnants of the regime’s brutality, not the actions of true mujahideen. Are the people who remained in their homes not safe? By God, after the battle ended, I was shocked to see the videos documenting these violations. I bear witness before God to the righteousness of the Public Security Group—they were committed to protecting civilians. But Sheikh, we demanded justice. I am one of those who called for it. As a military officer and a member of the elite forces, I have insisted that those who committed these crimes—those who killed based on sectarian hatred—must be held accountable. Sheikh, we must purify our army. When mercenaries came from Libya and Nigeria, they did not fight as true mujahideen—they entered homes and slaughtered civilians. This is not the teaching of the Messenger of Allah. This is not our faith, nor our religion. This is not humanity. We are a people of mercy, a people of peace. We fight those who fight us. We take up arms only in battle. But we do not kill people who are simply living in their homes. No, by God, Sheikh—this is not why we fought. Sheikh, I appeal to you as Abu Obeida. I beg you—hold these criminals accountable. They have no place among us. They must be expelled from our ranks. The evidence is clear, documented in both audio and video. Sheikh, we followed you because we believed in your righteousness, your faith, and your devotion to God. We stood behind you because you are a just and honorable man. But today, all our efforts, all our sacrifices, are being undermined by these crimes. We are not murderers. If we kill an innocent person in their home, we are no better than the oppressors we rose against. By God, our hearts break at what we have witnessed. The Public Security Group has done its duty to protect civilians, but these atrocities—especially by the Hamzat and Amshat factions—have shattered everything we stood for. They looted, murdered, and destroyed lives. And why? Simply because their victims belonged to the Alawite sect? By God, this is not our religion. I urge everyone to spread this message far and wide. These criminals must be held accountable. They cannot remain among us. Our army should be a force that protects the people, not one that slaughters them. Sheikh, you must take action. You must issue an order to hold them accountable, so that the world knows we do not condone such acts. May God's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.

I've become a missionary with one message. Every time I meet a young person, the same words: have children, get married, build a family. I did not decide on this calling. It overtook me. And it overtook me for a single reason. I had no idea. I genuinely did not understand how much joy, how much meaning, how much sheer beauty pours out of a child until I was holding one of my own and felt the floor of my life drop into something deeper than I knew was there. I grew up white, affluent, secular, comfortable, and insulated. That world does not put babies in front of you. None of my friends were starting families. Out of my whole circle, almost no one has a big one. We were not formed by the presence of children. We were formed by their absence, by the strange quiet of homes built for two careers and no cradle. And a person believes what his world shows him. So we believed. What we believed was a lie. It is a lie with an author, and that the author is the enemy of joy himself. It is the gospel of the world, and its commandment is wait. Wait until you are older. Wait until the career is built and the savings are stacked and the twenties are properly spent. Enjoy your freedom. You are not ready. It does not arrive sounding like temptation. It arrives sounding like wisdom, like prudence, like the responsible thing, and that is exactly why it works. The most effective lies are the ones that wear the face of virtue. And the maddening thing is that it collapses from every angle at once. It is not rooted in biology, because the body is made for this work precisely in the years we are told to postpone it. The flesh keeps a calendar the culture pretends not to see. And it is not rooted in theology either. You will not find this deferral anywhere in the Christian imagination, in any of the fathers, in any of the scriptures. So choose whatever lens you like. Take the cold secular measure or the ancient sacred one. By either light the counsel is rotten. It is bad for the body and bad for the soul and bad for the society downstream of both. This is why I have come to see it as one of the central tragedies of my generation. Every age carries its own wound. The Great Depression was a depression of bread, a scarcity in the world of matter, hunger you could measure. Ours is a depression of a different order. It is a famine of the spirit in the middle of abundance. We have more than any people who ever lived and we are starving in a way our ancestors would not recognize, because the thing we are refusing cannot be bought and cannot be banked. The ones most made to give and receive this love are quietly declining it. They are walking away from the one inheritance that actually compounds, and the cruelest part is that they do not feel the loss as loss. You cannot grieve what you were taught not to want. That is the deepest cut of it. The lie does not only steal the thing. It steals the capacity to know the thing was stolen. A man can spend his whole life on the far side of a door he never knew was a door, mistaking the wall for the edge of the world. Because this beauty is not ordinary beauty. It is not the pleasure of a good meal or a clear morning. It is participation in something that comes down from above, the same generative love that spoke everything out of nothing and called it good. To make a person, to be undone and remade by loving that person more than your own life, is to be drawn for a moment inside the very act that holds the cosmos together. A child does not merely add to your life. A child reorders the soul. It teaches you what you are by asking everything of you, and you discover, kneeling there exhausted at three in the morning, that you had a capacity for self gift you never suspected, a depth in yourself you had no other way to reach. In the Gospel of John, on the last night, Jesus prays, these things I have spoken to you that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete. And I have come to understand why family is the road into that fullness, why it is not one path among many but the one most fitted to the shape of the promise. Consider who is praying. Christ does not come to us as a lone figure dropped out of the sky. He comes out of a family older than the world, the eternal communion of Father and Son, the love between them so total and so alive that theologians dared to call it a third person. Before there was anything, there was a family. The deepest fact about reality is not a force or a law or a void. It is a household. It is begetting and being begotten, giving and receiving, a Father who is only a Father because there is a Son. So when Jesus speaks of joy made complete, he is not pointing away from family toward something higher. He is pointing toward the very thing he came from, the life he has known from eternity and came to share. His joy is the joy of belonging utterly to a Father and pouring himself out for those he loves. When you marry, when you bring a child into the world, when you wear yourself down in the small unseen labors of a home, you are not stepping outside that divine life. You are stepping into a small image of it. Your family is a created echo of an uncreated one. The love you give your child rhymes with the love the Father has for the Son. The exhaustion, the tenderness, the way a parent would tear the sky open to protect a sleeping infant, all of it is the heavens pressed faintly into flesh, the eternal household leaving its fingerprint on yours. That is why the joy is not merely added to family but completed in it. We were made in the image of a God who is, at his very root, relation and gift and generation. To found a family is to do the most Godlike thing a creature can do, to participate from below in the begetting that God does from all eternity. Your home becomes a window. Through it, dimly and imperfectly, you glimpse the country you came from and are going to. And now a word for the young people reading this, the ones who do not yet have children. I want to tell you what it is like from where I stand. When I am out somewhere, a restaurant, anywhere, and a large family comes through the door, the noise and the chaos and the small bodies of them, something happens in me on two levels at once. The first is joy. A pure gladness at the sight, the way you feel watching something good and alive. But underneath it, almost in the same instant, a sadness reaches up and takes hold of my heart. Because I know now, at my age, after my own years of waiting, that I will never have that. I will never know the particular fruit of a family that large, the fullness of that table, the weight of all those lives gathered under one roof. The door to it has quietly closed, and I felt it close. And I am telling you plainly, because I love you and have no reason to lie to you: you will feel this too. You will. The day will come when you see what you passed up, and you will recognize the ache for what it is, and it will be too late to answer it. So please, learn from a man who got it wrong. Let my regret be worth something by becoming your wisdom. Do not wait yourself into a grief you cannot undo. Choose now, while the door is open, so that you may step into a joy that does not end.

𝐉𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐞, 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝐷𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑁𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑃𝑒𝑟𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐹𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑀𝑢𝑠𝑙𝑖𝑚 𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝐼 𝑁𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑃𝑒𝑟𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐹𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑇̣𝑎𝑤𝑎̄𝑔̇𝑖̄𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝐴𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑎 This is the hypocritical principle of the Khārajī Ahmed Musa Jibril. We should remember a certain type of Khārijī that the ʿUlemāʾ of the past recognized and classified into their own sect, and they are the 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮̄𝗿𝗶𝗷 𝗮𝗹 𝗤𝗮ʿ𝗱𝗶𝘆𝘆𝗮𝗵 [𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀], who are, as defined by al Sakhāwī and Ibn Hajr, those who incite the people with words by mentioning the faults of Muslim leaders and governments, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. During the height of ISIS there were two infamous western social media “tough guys” who were popular amongst ISIS fighters and online Takfīrīs. Ahmed Musa Jibril based in Dearborn, MI & Musa Cerantonio based in Australia. At that time they took advantage of the anger of Muslim youth at the suffering of Muslims in various Muslim countries especially Syria, to turn them into Takfīris who would join groups that, ironically, were killing those same Muslims. But these two “tough guys” themselves never went overseas to fight, they were content to stay in comfort in the West tweeting whilst naive youth, some just young teenage girls, went to Syria and either died there or are wasting away in foreign prisons. Musa Cerantonio actually claimed he did join ISIS overseas, but that was later proven to be false when he was later arrested in the Philippines. He is now an apostate, after making Takfīr of Muslims he himself became a kafir. From the Sunnah of Allah in dealing with his creation is the principle: الجزاء من جنس العمل The recompense for a deed is similar to the deed. Similar to the saying: “You reap what you sow.” He made Takfīr unjustly and was forsaken by Allah and is now a Kafir himself. As for Ahmed Musa Jibril his fanboys will defend him tooth to nail, even though he has a criminal record of defrauding people and banks. A few years ago I encountered a group of people who were taking lessons from him online, and they all held it permissible to steal from and defraud non-Muslims in America because this is Dar al Harb. If you want to see how brave their “Mujāhid Shaykh” is just watch him run away from a Kāfir reporter. Even the Kafir reporter recognizes that he is just an internet troll that no one should fear, he literally chases him down a street. If AMJ is sincere in his claims why doesn’t he go and fight overseas!? Oh, that’s right. It’s because he needs permission from the Ṭawāġīt authorities in America, but only him—not the 14-year-old girl in the UK. She can run away, but he can’t. In contrast the Salafi Mashāykh have only ever been brave against opposition and faced it like men and true Mujāhidīn. Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī fought the Soviets in Afghanistan with Shaykh Jamīl ar-Rahmān al Afghanī. He climbed those steep Afghani mountain tops and fired at the enemies of Allah with his own weapon. Shaykh Jamīl ar-Rahmān al Afghanī another Salafi Shaykh fought the Soviets and gave Dawah and established the Islamic Emirate of Kunar upon Salafiyyah, but was assassinated by the Ikhwan al Muslimūn and Kunar was conquered by drug dealing Ikhwanīs. Shaykh Muqbil al-Wādiʿī gave Dawah in Yemen for decades and faced a number of assassination attempts by various deviant sects. Shaykh Yāsīn al-ʿAdanī who bravely spoke the truth against the Ikhwan al Muslimūn, the Houthis, and al Qaeda up until they assassinated him. Do not be deceived by these keyboard warriors, nor allow them to portray Ahlus Sunnah, who they label to be “Madkhalis”, as cowards, while our Mashāykh have a proven track record of bravery and implementing what they preach and their “Shaykhs” are nothing but internet trolls who radicalize youth and lead them to their destruction.

Congratulations to those dim enough to believe it was possible to be anti-Zionist and pro-coup in Syria. You have delivered the Zionists what was beyond Herzl's wildest dreams. Not only have you eradicated Syria culturally and geographically but you have eradicated Palestine and created Greater Israel. This was always obvious; always inevitable; and the basis of anti-imperialist opposition to this regime change mission. It will now take a Herculean task, which can only be performed by the actually anti-Zionist regional forces of the Resistance Axis, to reconstitute, recover, resupply and reshape the war for Palestine. To do this, it will have to take a much more aggressive posture. By the eradication of Palestine, I mean something very specific: you have rescued the Zionists from existential defeat by turning this war in their favour. Whether you knew it or not, that was the objective of the chief sponsors of this regime change operation. For Erdoğan, it's a chance to recover his desperate domestic political position and finally steal the industrial heartlands of Syria, as he has been doing in phases throughout the past decade in an asset-stripping rampage. And to cement, once and for all, the blood ties between Turkey and the Zionist state by redrawing the map of the Eastern Mediterranean and West Asia together. For Qatar, delivering Syrian territory on a plate to the Zionists supposedly gives them immunity from Trump's cabinet of hawks, underscoring their loyalty to and reliability for the American imperial project in West Asia. The gas and construction billions (and Qatar's consequent increased strategic importance to Europe and the US) that will follow from a new pipeline to Europe and rebuilding Syria's ruins were their key original motivation for sponsoring regime change. Another consequence is that Qatar gets to play at nation-building, something its elites are still sore they couldn't do in Egypt when the UAE launched a coup against the Mursi regime, replacing the Muslim Brotherhood with military dictatorship to cut short the Arab Spring. Fourteen years and billions of dollars of investment in Zionising Syria via various terror factions have also drawn Qatari policymakers much personally closer to the CIA and Mossad, which is useful for the 'mediation' role Qatar prizes so highly. The Americans have taken the largest and most strategically significant bastion of Arabism (a now defunct idea) and an ally of Russia, the Islamic Republic and China, and will turn it into an economic basket case while telling the world it's a Muslim Singapore. In deposing Bashar, they have decapitated the fulcrum of anti-imperialism in the Levant and the only Arab state leader of the past few decades able to enunciate an intellectually coherent materialist theory of empire, as well as an advocate of de-dollarisation. The rump state carved from former Syria will now be ruled by ISIS-in-suits with Milei characteristics. The Americans have already been ruling a third of Syria (a landmass the size of Croatia) for a decade and stealing all of Syria's considerable oil and wheat resources in one of the most brazen acts of imperial piracy in modern history. Their starvation sanctions have led us to this point more than any other single factor, throttling the rest of the country while Idlib under the ISIS hordes was allowed to trade freely. For the UK, which has led at different stages of the war alongside the UAE and then Qatar on propaganda for the regime change project, it's also a way of proving to the Americans that this economically unproductive and politically irrelevant rainy little island still has something to offer the Empire in the shape of PR firms, lobbying shops, gun-runners and traffickers of gullible Salafi sectarians. Last but certainly not least: for the Zionists, it's beyond a dream. They have gone from stasis in an existential war in which they met none of their initial objectives and had to resort to chaotic assassinations, to destroying their largest remaining Arab military foe and having free rein on all of Syria on land should they wish, as well as certain domination of the skies and seas once the Russian naval and air bases are evacuated. They own Syria now, everyone else is just living in it. The Chabad will tell you that, as will Jawlani every time he's interviewed. Nations can only exist and be sovereign when they control their territory. Syria no longer exists, after having been chipped away at for fourteen years by the most expensive and largest regime change campaign in US history. Frankly, it's a miracle that it was able to survive so long in the face of this David v Goliath onslaught. What exists now are US-held territories and military bases (some of which could be used to attack Iraq); ever-expanding Turkish territory which could result in Aleppo being culturally or politically absorbed into Turkey (a major long-term prize); and a deeply sectarian Damascus regime under former Islamic State in Iraq (ISI) deputy and al-Qa'ida in Syria leader, Abu Muhammad al-Jawlani, which also answers directly to Turkish intelligence. The ISIS-in-suits regime is likely to sign a Zionisation deal just for sanctions relief, so recovering the oilfields seems unlikely, especially under Trump. But a Zionisation deal being floated may encourage some Syrians to rethink their support for their new ISIS overlords and cause a new domestic Resistance movement to emerge, under extreme punishment and threat from the gaggle of US allies who now run former Syria.

Something is wrong when American soldiers survive Taliban, al-Qaeda, and ISIS-K attacks in Afghanistan only to be executed in broad daylight by one of their operatives in Washington, D.C. Is it the fault of the bureaucrats who dismissed our warnings that these terrorists were already inside the United States—some evacuated? Is it the fault of the Senators who are stalling the No Tax Dollars For Terrorists Act after we proved your money was funneled to the Taliban? We told them the Taliban are the same as they were on 9/11 and nothing has changed. Is it the fault of the Members of Congress who voted down an amendment that would stop all U.S. intelligence sharing with the Taliban? Is it the fault of the experts who crowned the Taliban as America’s counterterrorism partner, and continued collecting intelligence from them despite our repeated briefings that the Taliban hosts a dozen international terrorist groups? Is it the fault of the CIA’s political leadership who claimed the Taliban can be trusted and relied on to tell the U.S. government who’s who and what they are planning? Is it the fault of the FBI’s political leadership who insisted the vetting system is flawless and that the American public has nothing to worry about? We told them that the Taliban and the Haqqani Network had issued tens of thousands of legitimate Afghan passports to terrorists. Is it the fault of the State Department officials who issued the terrorists U.S. visas, arranged their charter flights, and resettled them in your communities—all with your tax dollars? When American soldiers are killed on American soil, it’s everyone’s fault. They were on duty to protect everyone. It is your fault for dismissing us as “disgruntled veterans,” and waiting for polished lies from an agency instead of the raw truth from the men still fighting the Taliban, al-Qaeda and ISIS-K. And it’s my fault because I did not say the threat is real loud enough. I may not have said it to enough people. God protect this country, and God protect the troops, because the political parties are failing. I support President Trump, and I hope he uses all of his executive powers to undo the damage done to this country’s reputation and security as a result of the 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan under the last administration. What happens in Afghanistan does not stay in Afghanistan. It will continue to follow us unless America corrects course. There are no “good” terrorists. Agree on that one simple truth, or we will bury more of our best again and again. Let’s work together. This Afghan national betrayed the people of this great Nation. He deserves no mercy from its legal system. His eternal place is hell. My condolences go out to the families, battle buddies, and fellow soldiers in their unit. Thank you for putting on the uniform and for your countless sacrifices. We may not act worthy of it, but the ideals of this Nation are worth defending. Please remember: if the lights go out in America, lights will go out everywhere. God Bless America 🇺🇸 God Bless a Free Afghanistan 🇦🇫

Ronald Reagan is the prototypical hero to conservative Americans. But what if he was actually the villain? Reagan sold two critical falsehoods to Americans that rewrote our cultural identity & our literal DNA. He transformed how we see & think about ourselves. And this transformation enabled & facilitated the destruction of our nation through the destruction of our demographics. Whether it was intentional or simply misguided, I'll let you decide. The 2 Falsehoods: 1. That anyone from anywhere can come be an American. I debunked that in the thread quoted below. 2. That American freedom isn't inherited or passed on in the bloodstream to our kids. Let's unpack this one. What do we mean when we talk of "Freedom" in the American context? What did Reagan mean? He told us: it's the unique idea of liberty conceived by our Founders for the first time in history. He says we have to maintain it, fight for it, and teach the next generation about it. What this means is that he's referring not just to some abstract idea our Founders conceived, but also the system and its trappings that they constructed to foster, promote & preserve their conception. We call this the "American System." But as Reagan states in this video, this system, its ideas, this "Freedom"--it's all the product of a specific set of men, of a defined people. What people? Briefly, White, Christian Europeans--mostly Western & Northern European Protestants--forged by, and sifted through, the harsh exigencies of the untamed American wilderness. They were also seasoned by their common interests in having the liberty to worship God & live their lives how they saw fit, without tyrannical interference from authoritarians. These people, these Founders, were the seed population of America. Their descendants, and people like them who immigrated later, built America. It should be noted here that throughout the entirety of our American history up to now, the majority of the population--the dominant demographic--descends from that Founding era population. Even factoring all the "immigration" post-1790, about 70% of Americans in 1965 descended from pre-1790 founding Americans. So, no, America is not a "Nation of Immigrants." That's a lie invented by the ADL in 1958. What this means is that America was conceived, invented, built & maintained by a specific group of people. A people with a common history, heritage, blood, genetic lineage and shared evolutionary experience on the American continent. America is a people. The capacity to build America, to maintain it, and to help it grow naturally & flourish is literally passed on in the blood. It's our literal birthright inheritance. Pick any Indian tribe. Only Indians of that tribe can properly perpetuate that tribe. You could go live among them and learn their language & ways, but if their genetic legacy dies and you're all that's left, it's no longer their tribe. You can't carry it forward. It's gone. It's the same with America. A specific tribe of people, with a specific background, biology & shared experience are what an "American" is. Others may live here, but they cannot perpetuate what our ancestral tribe created and built. America literally is passed on in the blood. Our freedom--our system--can only be properly developed and maintained by us. That doesn't mean we'll always get it right or that we'll be faithful to the original vision, but it does mean only we have the capacity to take this country in the natural trajectory our Founding ancestors conceived. White, Christian, sovereign Americans are tribal Americans. The rest of y'all are just residents. I don't say this hatefully, it's just factual. Indian Hindus & Sikhs, Chinese Buddhists, Mexican Catholics, Arab Muslims, and even Black African Protestants cannot preserve or pass America on, anymore than a White Anglo Saxon Protestant could preserve and pass on the Australian aboriginal people or Japan. Ronald Reagan was wrong, and this attitude & belief are disintegrating the American tribe & killing off America.

Ambassador Chas Freeman: Israel Is Worse Than Nazis It’s very clear what Israel wants. It’s made no secret that it wants to depopulate Gaza by whatever means it can, by starving people into leaving, expelling them, or killing them all. And there’s no question that it meets the definition of genocide. They have the intent to destroy an entire people. They have the ability and they are, in fact, carrying out an operation intended to do so. I think it’s also quite clear why Hamas did what it did. This was in the nature of a jailbreak from the world’s largest concentration camp. And having been treated like animals they behaved like animals. What they did was horrifying, it was inexcusable, but it was understandable. The Israeli reaction has been vastly disproportionate and that is Israel’s custom. It tries to react disproportionately in order to intimidate and deter anyone from attacking it. That is not new but what is new are the genocidal statements and proposed emptying of Gaza. 60% of the buildings in Northern Gaza have been destroyed and we know that over 12,000 Palestinians have been murdered by one means or another. Israel has destroyed most of the hospitals in Gaza. It now seems to be working on the schools. So it is totally ruthless and the whole thing is particularly macabre because it is such a vivid reminder of the Warsaw Ghetto, a very parallel situation in which driven beyond any ability to tolerate what was being done to them, the Jewish inhabitants of the Warsaw Ghetto rose against Nazi Germany and the Nazis exterminated them all and leveled the ghetto. One would think that the survivors of that Holocaust and the larger Holocaust in Europe would not wish to repeat a holocaust against another people but evidently, that is expecting too much of human nature. It now appears that much of the killing at the music festival was actually done by Israeli forces who fired indiscriminately at both the Hamas warriors and the milling crowds at the festival. Similarly, some of the major damage in the kibbutzim and the murders of the settlers there were done not by Hamas but by Israeli forces firing tank bullets into houses and hellfire missiles into cars and so forth. So this was a dreadful beginning to what has turned out to be an absolutely nauseating months and a half of slaughter, not finished. The United States has the ability to stop this by halting armed supplies to Israel but does not do that, opposes a ceasefire in support of Mr. Netanyahu’s revenge against the Palestinians, and Mr. Netanyahu, I would remind you, is on record many years ago as expressing hope for a war in which Israel could expel all the Arabs in its midst and seems to be taking advantage of this to do that hoping, I suppose, that his reputation which has been greatly damaged by charges of corruption and by his suspension of judicial independence in Israel, can somehow be redeemed by this act of revenge. Where we are is a very bad place. What Israel is reporting is extraordinarily crude propaganda, some of it obviously, utterly false, and they’ve been caught. Even some of the mainstream media are beginning to report that the Israeli Defense Forces are lying about a huge number of things. Younger people, generally in the West, certainly in my own country the United States, are far more inclined to be sympathetic to the Palestinians than they ever were before. It’s not that they dislike Israelis but now confronted with with graphic images of horror, the murder of 12,000 [Palestinians], they’re not dispassionate. Not only are they demonstrating in all of the world’s capitals for a ceasefire which their governments declined to support for the most part, but social media is now overwhelmingly pro-Palestinian as opposed to pro-Israeli. But I think the Palestinians, generally, have been motivated to remind the world that they exist. That their problems can’t be set aside. The Israeli government, with the connivance of the Biden Administration, and before that the Trump Administration, was making an effort to set the Palestinian issue aside in order to produce Arab-Israeli normalization. And the Palestinians set out with this raid into Israel to demonstrate that that is impossible, that the only way that you can have peace in Palestine is with a two-state solution. And oddly enough, although Hamas, of course, started as a movement funded in part by the Israelis — Mr. Netanyahu has openly admitted that he corroborated with Qatar to fund Hamas in Gaza in order to divide the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza — I think Hamas seized the moment to provoke Israel into doing exactly what Israel has predictively done in order to make it clear to the world that you have to have a two-state solution which had become a talking point. There was no reality to it at all. There had been no peace process for twenty-some years. Now there must be. People have recognized that the one-state solution — which many favored, meaning a purely democratic one-man-one-vote arrangement in Palestine in which inevitably the Jewish population given its higher level of culture, civilization, and finance, would have called most of the shots — is off the table. After all the hatred that has been demonstrated on both sides, coexistence in one state is obviously impossible in Palestine. Two states, however, would give the Palestinians a stake in peace. They have no stake in peace at the moment. They’re like a rabbit being swallowed by some kind of boa constrictor. As time goes on they go farther and farther down the throat of the snake and they’re crying out, and they were doing so at a pitch that, apparently, no one internationally could hear. And now their cause has been dramatized. We can’t have a resolution of what is going on now that takes the form of another expulsion of Palestinians, more tolerance of massacres, the condoning of genocide... and I think those in the West, including President Biden, who has been prepared to give Israel a pass on these issues, are beginning to pay heavily in terms of their political prestige in their domestic politics. Settler colonialism invariably leads to some attempt at genocide. That was the case in the United States, Canada, and Australia. It wasn’t the case in New Zealand because the Māori were too tough. It wasn’t the case in South Africa because the Zulus, and other South African blacks, were too tough. It wasn’t the case in Kenya because, eventually, black Kenyans rose up in the Mau Mau movement, which was itself a horror, but it did result in a separation from the colonial rule of the British. The same thing could happen. Now the difficulty of all this is obvious in terms of the fact that you’ve got an Israeli cabinet that is the most determined, genocidal cabinet the world has ever seen, and I don’t excuse the Nazi cabinets from that comparison. The overt statements of genocidal intent are unmistakable. There’s no effort, as the Germans did make, to conceal what is in store for the Palestinians. There’s no fake camp for Jews like the one the Nazis set up to bring the Swiss Red Cross in to show how wonderful they were treating the people they had taken away from their homes. No effort whatsoever of that sort, just bombing and strafing and murder on the ground. Israel appears to be paying quite a heavy price for that in terms of combat losses, but, of course, is not reporting accurately what is happening.

Islamic Art of War By: Ofer Binshtok Islam wages a continuous global war through various methods and with varying intensity against non-Muslims 24/7, as commanded by the Quran and Muhammad, a war that has persisted for approximately 1400 years and will continue indefinitely. In places where non-Muslims grow weary of conflict and seek peace, avoiding confrontation and attempting to appease Islam, believing they have achieved tranquility through signing agreements with Islam and even allowing its migration into their territories, during this time, Islam builds its strength and attacks them when it senses it has the upper hand, from within and from outside, in the most brutal way possible. This war strategy relies on the Islamic Art of War, based on the Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah. Quran 8:39 - The goal: a world containing only Muslims through war. Quran 98:6 - Demonization of non-Muslims. Quran 3:28 - Deceive non-Muslims. Quran 47:35 - Do not seek peace when you have the upper hand. In other words, attack. Quran 8:60 - During a hudna (ceasefire), Islam prepares for war. Quran 9:123 - Attack nearby non-Muslims. Quran 9:5 - Kill every non-Muslim in the world. In 622 AD, Muhammad migrated from Mecca to the settlement of Medina (Yathrib) in the Arabian Peninsula, where he was received as a refugee by the Jews who had established and controlled the prosperous region, granting him shelter. Within approximately eight years, after building his strength, Muhammad eliminated the presence of Jews and other non-Muslims in the area. In 628 AD, Muhammad signed a ten-year hudna (truce) agreement in Hudaibiya with the Quraysh tribe of Mecca, as his forces were weaker than theirs. In 630 AD, when his power was sufficiently strong, he violated the agreement with the Quraysh, attacked Mecca, conquered it with ease, and eradicated all other cultures present there. Muhammad's Sunnah, which is binding in Islam according to Quran 33:21, commands every Muslim to emulate all of Muhammad’s words and deeds, which are considered sacred. ---- "A Muslim must be loyal only to the Islamic Ummah" By: Ofer Binshtok The identity of the Muslim is solely to be a part of the global Islamic Ummah, without any connection to a nation-state or to another culture that is not the Islamic Ummah. The idea of independent Islamic nation-states contradicts the Islamic idea as it is found in the Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah. A Muslim, wherever he is in the world, is part of the Islamic Ummah. A Ummah that should be ruled by a caliph through Sharia law. Islam is a global political-religious worldview of a world without borders. The existing Islamic nation-states are actually an act of heresy. A disbeliever who converts to Islam must completely break away from his former identity, become part of the Islamic Ummah, and serve its purposes personally. Every Muslim, wherever he is, is personally obligated to act so that the Islamic Ummah will be established—that is to say, to collapse every nation-state that exists in the world so that the Islamic Ummah will replace it. The fact that the idea of Ummah is included in the central motif of the Quran is evidence of the vital significance of this concept. In Islamic terminology, the term "Ummah" refers to the religious community, also known as the Islamic holy community. This is the primary interpretation of the phrase found in the Quran. Quran 5.51: "O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliyâ’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Auliyâ’), then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust)." Quran 2.143 "Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful." Quran 3.104 "Let there be one nation of you, calling to good, and bidding to honour, and forbidding dishonour; those are the prosperers." Quran 3.110 "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient." Quran 16.92 "And be not like her who undoes the thread which she has spun after it has become strong, by taking your oaths a means of deception among yourselves, lest a nation may be more numerous than another nation. Allah only tests you by this [i.e who obeys Allah and fulfills Allah's Covenant and who disobeys Allah and breaks Allah's Covenant]. And on the Day of Resurrection, He will certainly make clear to you that wherein you used to differ [i.e. a believer confesses and believes in the Oneness of Allah and in the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad SAW which the disbeliever denies it and that was their difference amongst them in the life of this world]." Quran 68.4 And indeed, you are (Muhammad) of a great moral character. Quran 33.21 "Indeed in the Messenger of Allâh (Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day, and remembers Allâh much." --- "When a Muslim looks at a non-Muslim, the Quran creates a lens for him through which he sees and understands the non-Muslim, composed of these three verses (and there are many more):" 8:55, 98:6, and 9:28. Verses 8:55 and 98:6 portray non-Muslims as the worst creatures, even worse than cockroaches, bedbugs, and ticks. Verse 9:28 portrays non-Muslims as physically and spiritually filthy, akin to the filth of excrement. In summary: When a Muslim looks at a non-Muslim, he sees him through the lens of the Quran as the worst creatures, worse than cockroaches and ticks, and physically and spiritually filthy to the level of excrement. Quran 8.55 “Verily, The worst of moving (living) creatures before Allâh are those who disbelieve, - so they shall not believe.” Quran 98.6: "Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures." Quran 9.28: “O you who believe (in Allâh’s Oneness and in His Messenger Muhammad!) Verily, the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the Message of Muhammad) are Najasun (impure). [1] So let them not come near Al-Masjidal-Harâm (at Makkah) after this year; and if you fear poverty, Allâh will enrich you if He wills, out of His Bounty. Surely, Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.” (V.9:28) Their impurity is spiritual and physical: spiritual, because they don’t believe in Allâh’s Oneness and in His Prophet Muhammad; and physical, because they lack personal hygiene (filthy as regards urine, stools and blood). And the word Najas is used only for those persons who have spiritual impurity e.g. Al-Mushrikûn. Quran 9.14 "Fight against them so that Allâh will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people." Quran 8.39: "...fight them until disbelief (non-Muslims) disappears and the whole Dean (way of life) is for Allah alone...(for Islam)” Quran 9.5: “...kill the Mushrikun (non-Muslims) wherever you find them…" Al-Bukhari: "To wage war against Allah means to reject faith in Him." Quran 2.191: "The sin of disbelief in Allah is greater than committing murder." --- "The concept of Jihad as defined by Sharia law." By: Ofer binshtok. 09.0 JIHAD (0: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad, "We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad." The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as: (1) "Fighting is prescribed for you" (Koran 2:216); (2) "Slay them wherever you find them" (Koran 4:89); (3) "Fight the idolators utterly" (Koran 9:36); and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: "I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah"; and the hadith reported by Muslim, "To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it." Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally attended, some twenty seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. On the latter expeditions he sent others to fight. himself remaining at Medina, and these were forty-seven in number.) THE OBLIGATORY CHARACTER OF JIHAD 09.1 Jihad is a communal obligation (def: c3.2). When enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others (0: the evidence for which is the Prophet's saying (Allah bless him and give him peace), "He who provides the equipment for a soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad," and Allah Most High having said: "Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah's path with their property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to each. Allah has promised great good" (Koran 4:95). If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims. The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: 09.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year. The second state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that country, who must repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can). 09.2 jihad is personally obligatory upon all 'those present in the battle lines (A: and to flee is an enormity (dis: pH)) (0: provided one is able to fight. If unable, because of illness or the death of one's mount when not able to fight on foot, or because one no longer has a weapon, then one may leave. One may also leave if the opposing non-Muslim army is more than twice the size of the Muslim force). 09.3 Jihad is also (0: personally) obligatory for everyone (0: able to perform it, male or female, old or young) when the enemy has surrounded the Muslims (0: on every side, having entered our territory, even if the land consists of ruins, wilderness, or mountains, for non-Muslim forces entering Muslim lands is a weighty matter that cannot be ignored, but must be met with effort and struggle to repel them by every possible means. All of which is if conditions permit gathering (A: the above-mentioned) people, provisioning them, and readying them for war. If conditions do not permit this, as when the enemy has overrun the Muslims such that they are unable to provision or prepare themselves for war, then whoever is found by a non-Muslim and knows he will be killed if captured is obliged to defend himself in whatever way possible. But if not certain that he will be killed, meaning that he might or might not be, as when he might merely be taken captive, and he knows he will be killed if he does not surrender, then he may either surrender or fight. A woman too has a choice between fighting or surrendering if she is certain that she will not be subjected to lin indecent act if captured. If uncertain that she will be safe from such an act, she is obliged to fight, and surrender is not permissible). Source: Reliance of the Traveller - Revised Edition. EU gave €225 million to projects in #Gaza between 2021-2023, a place that was under the full control of #Hamas since 2006. How much of the EU money given to projects in Gaza ended up in the hands and pockets of this terrorist organisation? I asked Commissioner Olivér Várhelyi this and other questions in the Budgetary Control committee on October 26, 2023. Watch and share this video along with the transcript. MEP Cristian Terheș: "Thank you so much. Before I go into my questions I just want to make a note that this committee has on paper 55, 54 MEPs, and we are in this room, right now, only five [MEPs] and two over there. I think it is outrageous that, for an important topic like this, that is discussing about how the Commission is spending or wasting people's money, apparently the Left is not interested in see[ing] what exactly and how exactly people's money was spent. Going back to the questions, I have six specific questions. The first one is related to the books printed under the supervision or under the authority of the Palestinian Authority. And I saw, I carefully read the answer from the European Commission, which pretty much acknowledged that there was a problem, and I restate that, that there was, in the past, a problem with these books. And the answer says that "EU has stepped up its engagement with the Palestinian Authority to ensure that further curriculum reform addresses problematic issues identified in the shortest possible timeframe". So the "further curriculum" will address this issue. Well, here's an example of a book. This is a literature book for the fifth grade that is used in the UNRWA schools. In this book, this is what the Arab kids are learning. If you're not aware of who this person is, her name is Dalal Mughrabi. On March the 11th, 1978, along with other terrorists, [she] hijacked two busses. And when the Israeli authorities tried to free those people, they blew themselves up and killed 38 Israelis, including 13 children, and over 70 people were wounded. So how is it possible that now, in 2023, and I'm not talking about past books… This is 2023. These kids are still learning that this is a role model for them. And now, out of the blue, we are surprised that people are blowing themselves up and killing innocent people. I'm not interested what are you going to do in the future. I hope that you will do something and we will make sure that you will do something. But what have you done so far to make sure that these Arab kids, these Palestinian kids are not indoctrinated with this kind of evil figures? The second question is about the "Pay for Slay". #PayForSlay According to the Palestinian law if a Palestinian person is killing a Jew, his or her family is getting a pension. So we are rewarding terrorist activities. And this was done for years. A few years ago, when Trump was president, a U.S. military guy was killed in one of these terror attacks. And U.S. Congress passed a law called "Taylor Force Act", which is conditioning any U.S. money for the Palestinian Authority to make sure that these families of the terrorists are not getting reimbursed for life after these terror activities. Why aren’t we imposing exactly the same rules? Because, according to the answer from the Commission, we are paying pension and pensions to these people. Third question, the issue of Gaza. According to your official answer, you're stating, and I quote: "Between 2021 and [20]23, EU funded €681 million for the Palestinian Authority and UNRWA. A third of this money went to Gaza." A third means €225 million from 2021 to 2023. But we know for a fact that in 2005, when Israel withdrew from Gaza, after 2006 or [200]7, Gaza is under the control of Hamas. You said here that you will run a survey or whatever, an analysis to see how the money was spent. What have you done already? Hamas was called, and recognized and acknowledged as a terrorist organisation. How was it possible to pour €225 million in a place that is fully controlled by a terrorist organisation and nobody did anything or said anything? It is absolutely absurd! Forth question. Following reports about stealing of pipelines for rocket production and fuel for hospitals, to what extent can the European Commission or the Court of Auditors verify or assess the damage caused to EU and European funded projects in Gaza? Fifth question. Following news that Hamas is directing money for social allowances to members of this terrorist organisation, how do you verify that such money gets to those really in need? Nevertheless, following reports about control of Hamas of the teacher unions and UNRWA workers union, what are the steps you are taking to verify that EU money for UNRWA is not used to serve Hamas agenda? Thank you." Commissioner Olivér Várhelyi: "Madam Chair. I want to assure all the participating members of this committee that I very much appreciate their presence and their engagement with us. And I think that this is very important that we have this discussion, no matter how many members of the committee are here. Now, first of all, on the Gaza project. Let me make it very clear what has been done in Gaza since 2006 when the IDF and Israel has left the Gaza Strip. I fully agree with you. The control and the governance of that strip has been de facto exercised by the Hamas. Unfortunately! And it was for that reason that all institution financing activity has been stopped and it is for that reason that only projects of public interest have been continued in the Gaza Strip. Now, with the emergence of the horror that we have seen instigated by Hamas, the review also has a very clear message to those projects that we have tried for many, many years to create for the benefit of the people in Gaza, like the Gas for Gaza project or the desalination plant creating fresh water for the people in the Gaza Strip or building a new hospital in the Gaza Strip, that are on hold. And it is not possible even physically to continue on those projects. And we will have to wait until the end of this war to see what engagement would still be considered in the in the Gaza area, if feasible. Now, in relation to the broader question of the review, what is the timeline? The timeline is that we are already doing it. We have a methodology established and our review is carried out by the whole House, mainly the DG Near, but also other parts of the Commission, DG Budget and also the other external family members of the Commission. The result of the review is going to be presented to the College [of Commissioners]. So the College is going to take the conclusions of these findings and they will be, I very much hope, endorsed by the College. In terms of its cost, we do not foresee any additional cost for this, and we want to act rapidly because, as I said, given the very fragile security situation, we have to act immediately to filter out all those who have, even indirectly, participated or contributed to the violence that we have seen emerge. Now, when it comes to the textbooks, to be honest with you, it's very difficult to answer your question because this is the question I have been putting since the very beginning of my mandate. How is it possible to embed hatred and nurture hatred in textbooks? How is it possible to teach kids to hate? How is it possible? And we have been sitting down several times with the Palestinian Authority. We have run a study that came to the same conclusion as you have. And we have had difficult discussions also in this House. But now I see that there is a change in the position of this House, which is, I think, very important. And it is not only very important, but we took very, very careful note of a request from the Parliament, because there is also a request adopted by the plenary, to look into this issue. And this is what we are going to do and this issue will have to be addressed. The result that we have achieved was that we have raised the issue with the Palestinian Authority, and I don't think there's disagreement between us and them that this is an issue. Second, we are working very closely with our partners in UNRWA. I'm very sad to see that this is a training material or education material that you have shown today, which is used by UNRWA, because UNRWA was the one who not only was able to talk about this problem, but undertook commitments with us to eradicate any material, any views expressed, including on social media or in the territories of the schools of this kind, glorification of terrorists, glorification of hatred, anti-Semitism. And this is why we have concluded a three year financing contract with UNRWA. This was a very important element for us that UNRWA started to cooperate and we have seen results coming in. But, of course, I agree with you. We cannot rest until the very last of these materials disappear. And I'm fully committed to deliver on that, including in the discussions for next year. On the "Pay for Slay". We have a list to check that direct beneficiaries do not appear on any of the terrorist list. But, if there is one, I wouldn't like to draw any conclusions of the review, but, if there is one issue to look at is, of course, that we do not create the possibility of indirect benefit for those who are involved in terrorist activities or for those who have been even convicted for such acts. And this is what we are addressing also in our review. Now, on the on the damage to our projects in Gaza, I cannot tell you now. What we see is that there is clearly devastation in the northern part, serious level of damage in the south, but it will be only after that the war will stop that we can go back and take a look at that. Now, on the humanitarian aspect and how to guarantee that our humanitarian aid is not going to be misused. If you look back at the statement the European Council has adopted just last weekend, you see also a very clear call for them to make sure. And this is why our decision has been to channel our humanitarian aid through our own institutions; DG Echo is delivering on the ground and in-kind. So we are providing help, in-kind, not providing financing. We're not providing other items that could be used for other purposes. And we are coordinating our work with international organisations only, so to ensure that it doesn't get to the wrong hands. So there was one more question about the breakdown of the €103 million, and I think I can confirm what you said that we have composed the €103 million by €50 million that were allocated in support of payments of salaries and pensions. These are going directly as direct budget support into the budget of the Palestinian Authority. However, we want to check the final beneficiaries and we have a list. And now we're looking at indirect beneficiaries as well as part of the review. The 40 million… The other element is the €40 million support for the most vulnerable families. Again, this is this is paid in the form of direct budgetary contribution. And the third and lastly, the €13 million, this is the remaining part of 103 [million], is financing the East Jerusalem hospitals that we have paid already in April 2023 to keep the health care system running in East Jerusalem. I hope with this I have answered all the questions that have been raised. Thank you."
