Dx: Absence seizure (petit mal seizure) Tx:Ethosuximide, Valproic acid Nursing Dx: Risk for trauma related to altered consciousness and cognitive limitations. Risk for fall-related to loss of muscle tone. Ineffective airway clearance related to neuromuscular impairment.
