It is difficult to compare Britain’s performance with America’s without acknowledging that Britain chose to leave a major economic bloc while the United States continued to benefit from a vast integrated domestic market. Barack Obama was shocked that Britain made the foolish decision of leaving the EU, and it has contributed to its decline as promised by the then governor of the Bank of England, Markey Carney who is now the Canadian Prime Minister. Concerns about growth, regulation and risk taking that you raised are valid, but cultural debates around universities, gender issues and “wokeness” do not by themselves explain economic performance. Economic growth is driven far more by investment, trade, innovation, skills and productivity than by culture war issues. Your argument that wealthy families are abandoning British universities and that large numbers of Britons are leaving for economic reasons would require substantial evidence. British universities remain among the most sought after in the world, and the UK continues to attract significant numbers of international students despite Brexit. Britain needs faster growth, higher productivity and greater investment. These challenges can’t be explained primarily through net zero policies and cultural change while overlooking the economic consequences of Brexit, which remains one of the most significant structural changes to the British economy in recent decades. Below is former British Prime Minister David Cameron warning British citizens about the dangers of leaving the EU before they made that decision. Many of the warnings he gave before the referendum have since come to pass. That, in my view, does far more to explain Britain’s current economic difficulties than arguments about cultural wokeness. Brexit fundamentally altered Britain’s trading relationship with its largest market, introduced new barriers to trade and labour mobility, and created economic headwinds that continue to be felt today. Basically, this is a huge “Fuck You” to Trump, the US, and the Abraham Accords. Trump tried to get all three countries and more to join the accords. Instead they’ve formed their own alliance with the intention of standing against Israel. Trump wanted to take a step towards peace in the region. Instead, through constant appeasement, weakness and failure to deal with a real threat of Islam, what Trump got was a return to 1948. There was a famous line from the film “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”… “When you have to shoot, shoot. Don’t talk”. Perhaps in the future Trump will learn this. The “Art of the Deal” just brought us a huge step closer to the biggest war the region has ever seen. And once it starts, there is no going back.

After the resounding success of BGBS 2025, I was delighted to participate in the North Bengal Business Meet 2025 today. The event brought together business leaders, industry experts, local entrepreneurs, and representatives from small and medium enterprises. I am also happy to share that the Siliguri International Convention Centre will soon be established on 10 acres of land in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode, creating a world-class venue for hosting business summits, exhibitions, and global events. While I was learning how to Trade and struggling in real life, I dealt with Su!cidal Ideations in the early stages. I wanted to give up because life was HARD and learning to trade felt even harder. I used to pray to God that He would take me home in my sleep. I’m grateful that He didn’t listen. He showed me that where I found myself was the end of the road I wanted to travel on and the beginning of the path he wanted me on. I’m grateful to be here today to tell the story and see the impact that my perseverance has created for lots of people around the world. It’s normal to feel the depressed and exhausted on this journey but KEEP GOING! I promise you that it gets better. Plenty of people have been on your position and turned things around. It’s never too late as long as the breath is in your body. You just have to be willing to tune out the noise, learn/have discipline and take it day-by-day. Life didn’t get better overnight… it took some time to rebuild but greater was He that lives within me and I was able to compound what I had left to what I couldn’t even imagine having during a single period in time. I’ve gone places that I couldn’t even dream of prior to learning this and I wouldn’t have the life that I now have if I didn’t trust in Him, compared myself to others and spent a disgusting amount of time on social media seeking validation. No matter where you are right now in life, 1 full year of focus, discipline and application can change your entire life. I pray that you receive obsession and passion for the things you want out of life. I hope that you find things that give you the will to live and build a life that can bless others in their lowest moments too. Life didn’t get better overnight… it took some time to rebuild but greater was He that lives within me and I was able to compound what I had left to what I couldn’t even imagine having during a single period in time. I’ve gone places that I couldn’t even dream of prior to learning this and I wouldn’t have the life that I now have if I didn’t trust in Him, compared myself to others and spent a disgusting amount of time on social media seeking validation. No matter where you are right now in life, 1 full year of focus, discipline and application can change your entire life. I pray that you receive obsession and passion for the things you want out of life. I hope that you find things that give you the will to live and build a life that can bless others in their lowest moments too. May the peace and blessings of Allah SWT be upon you. First and foremost, I wish to extend my profound gratitude to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for inviting me to this Summit. I also wish to thank Your Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for convening this important meeting today. Israel, however, has gone beyond the pale, beyond reason, beyond humanity itself in its vile and blatant perpetration of the genocide of the people of Palestine. These cumulative acts of violence against an entire nation leaves us with no choice but to demand for the swift and effective action of the international community including embargo, suspension and even expulsion. In its relentless campaigns, Israel has now struck at the very heart of the international community’s lifeline for Palestine by targeting the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. By barring UNRWA from operating, Israel is causing the collapse of the world’s humanitarian response, cutting off the most basic means of survival in Gaza for those who have already lost so much. We must put an end to this continued senseless carnage and take immediate steps to furnish more effective protection for the UNRWA. Similarly, we must accord better protection for the UN peacekeepers in Lebanon, comprising nearly 50 nations, including Malaysia – who have been attacked and terrorised by Israeli forces. The international community must act swiftly and forcefully. As an immediate measure, we must push, as Malaysia did at the UN General Assembly in September, to impose an immediate arms embargo against Israel. Nevertheless, the severity of Israel’s assault on humanity’s most basic rules of the international compact deserves consideration of a more serious response. For the sake of not only the Palestinians but of humanity itself, we must punish and deter Israel’s repeated violations of international law and norms. We should, therefore, build a consensus towards suspending or even expelling Israel from the United Nations itself.
