Yesterday marked the final day of the Eli Hurvitz Conference on Economy and Society—and the 600th day since the war began and hostages were taken into Gaza. After recognizing the weight of this day, IDI convened elected leaders, senior decision-makers from the public and private sectors, and representatives from civil society to discuss detailed policy proposals and background papers prepared by working groups in the months leading up to the conference. The afternoon session also looked ahead, exploring education in an AI-driven economy and supporting self-employment.
