At the end of our tour of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, after being overwhelmed by unforgettable generosity and warm hospitality, the ending was truly special. A meaningful gift was presented to Sheikh Shamail Al-Nadwi by the Saudi businessman Ali Al-Harithi — may Allah reward him and bless his generosity. A gift priceless in meaning before its material value: a piece of the Kiswah of the Holy Kaaba, along with a distinguished copy of the Holy Qur’an wrapped in fabric from the Kiswah itself—an image that embodies deep affection, sincere appreciation, and profound reverence for the Book of Allah and His Sacred House.

Every step in my journey as Saudi trainer is about seeking out new perspectives, and this last trip was truly meaningful. I’m especially grateful to my friend and brother Humberto Gomez , a remarkably talented rider on Bob Baffert’s team. I spent time at Santa Anita with HoF Bob Baffert , who not only shared his knowledge, but personally took me through the racetrack and walked me through the daily routine during my stay. As a Saudi trainer, these moments were priceless. Humberto’s support, along with Bob’s hands-on guidance and the entire team, gave me fresh inspiration. I also want to thank Amy Zimmerman at Santa Anita Park for their warm hospitality during the Santa Anita Derby. These strategic connections, built through time with all involved , add real value, strengthening the racing industry in both Saudi and the US. 🇸🇦🏇🏻🇺🇸

Had a most productive exchange of views with my dear brother Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Putrajaya today. Attended a gracious and impressive welcome ceremony at Perdana Putra and thanked him for the warm and generous hospitality extended to me and my delegation. We held wide-ranging discussions on ways to further strengthen our historic partnership — focusing on trade and investment, climate, defence, education, and tourism. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s announcement for import of halal meat worth USD 200 million is a welcome step that will further augment our engagement in this promising sector. Together, we launched the Urdu translation of his inspiring book SCRIPT, a vision of leadership built on Sustainability, Care & Compassion, Respect, Innovation, Prosperity and Trust. We also reflected on Allama Iqbal’s philosophy that the strength of a nation and the destiny of its people lie in the awakening of the self. It is through faith, effort, and perseverance that people shape their destiny. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and I shared our deep admiration for Allama Iqbal, whose message of faith and self-renewal continues to inspire generations across the Muslim world. We also had an in-depth exchange of views on regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East and South Asia and reaffirmed our shared resolve to continue working together for the peace, progress, and prosperity of our peoples. Islamabad : 28 July 2026. A U.S. Congressional delegation, comprising Rep. Ryan Zinke and Rep. Michael Baumgartener, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House this afternoon. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch, and U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Ms. Natalie Baker were also present. During the meeting, the Prime Minister welcomed both U.S. Congressmen to Pakistan and said that their visit was a welcome step towards building stronger Pakistan-U.S. ties. While congratulating the Congressmen and the American people on the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence, the Prime Minister also conveyed his warm regards and best wishes for President Donald Trump. The Prime Minister fondly recalled President Trump’s bold and decisive intervention that led to cessation of hostilities and ceasefire between Pakistan and India in May 2025, and helped saved hundreds of millions of lives. On bilateral relations, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan was keen to further strengthen its cooperation with the U.S. in trade, investment, agriculture, IT, mines & minerals and the energy sector. Both Congressmen thanked the Prime Minister for the warm hospitality extended to them during their visit. They noted that President Trump enjoyed excellent relations with the Pakistani leadership, which was also having a positive impact on the bilateral ties. They praised the Prime Minister for Pakistan’s leading role in regional peace efforts. The two sides agreed to increase the number and frequency of visits by Congressional delegations to Pakistan as well as visits of parliamentary delegations to the U.S. After the meeting, the Prime Minister hosted a reception in honor of a delegation of U.S. corporate sector executives who are visiting Pakistan. The delegation includes representatives of diverse sectors including IT and technology, energy, mining and manufacturing. Islamabad : 28 July 2026. A U.S. Congressional delegation, comprising Rep. Ryan Zinke and Rep. Michael Baumgartener, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House this afternoon. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch, and U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Ms. Natalie Baker were also present. During the meeting, the Prime Minister welcomed both U.S. Congressmen to Pakistan and said that their visit was a welcome step towards building stronger Pakistan-U.S. ties. While congratulating the Congressmen and the American people on the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence, the Prime Minister also conveyed his warm regards and best wishes for President Donald Trump. The Prime Minister fondly recalled President Trump’s bold and decisive intervention that led to cessation of hostilities and ceasefire between Pakistan and India in May 2025, and helped saved hundreds of millions of lives. On bilateral relations, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan was keen to further strengthen its cooperation with the U.S. in trade, investment, agriculture, IT, mines & minerals and the energy sector. Khalid bin Maghram Al-Maghram Al-Ghamdi. The happy occasion united the families of Al-Ghramah (Bani Jurrah) and Al-Maghram (Bani ‘Amir) in a warm gathering attended by relatives, friends, local dignitaries, and respected social figures — an evening filled with affection, unity, and heartfelt respect. The event beautifully reflected the deep social and family bonds that connect the two noble families, founded on values of mutual respect, brotherhood, and the cherished ties of kinship that are among the finest characteristics of our authentic Saudi society. The evening’s beauty and authenticity were further enriched by traditional performances delivered by specialized folk troupes. Guests enjoyed the Najdi Ardah, the Ghamdi Ardah, and the art of Al-Samri, which brought joy, participation, and a living connection between the celebration and our nation’s treasured cultural heritage. We extend our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to Colonel Maghram Al-Maghram Al-Ghamdi (“Abu Ahmed”), his esteemed sons, and the entire family for their generous hospitality and warm reception. I feel fortunate to have been there in person to support this vision. The speech and direction for US policy works perfectly with the major reforms and strides that have been made over the last five years in Saudi Arabia under the leadership of HRH Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MBS. MBS has an incredible and bold vision for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his people. For years he has been executing that vision with massive results. My first trip here was 18 years ago. The changes over this time, especially in the last five years, are striking. Saudi Arabia is using its natural cultural resources, its energy resources and its highly educated and motivated population to build an incredibly successful and diverse economy — all while retaining their national identity and religious and cultural values. This fits perfectly with the vision of President Trump to end the dismally failed US policies of aggression in the Middle East in favor of a rising tide that will lift all boats: a relationship of mutual benefit, not of destruction. It’s time we end the bombs and bullets and replace them with handshakes, deals, cultural exchange and prosperity. Sadly, my country has been responsible for significant problems in this region over the last several decades. Our military aggression cost the lives of over a million Iraqis and thousands of our own troops who died for a non-Constitutional misadventure fueled by the forever war military industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned us about. What the President indicated this week is that the era of the neocons and other violent globalist agendas is over for the United States and soon over for the world. We will lift sanctions on Syria, we will welcome trade, we will provide expertise and investment and, God willing, we will see the rise of the most peaceful and prosperous Middle East the world has ever seen. I am the most proud of my country I have ever been and the most enthusiastic about Saudi Arabia and the region that I’ve ever been.
