"I used to see dogs as gentle, loyal creatures. Now, every time I pass one, my whole body shakes." Palestinian journalist Marah Al-Wadyi describes how the genocide in Gaza has fractured something in the way Gazans see the animals around them. She speaks about her relative Najwa, killed along with her children Sahar, Tahsin and Tayseer by Israeli quadcopters, whose body was then partly eaten by starving dogs. Marah says she understands the animals were driven to it by hunger, that this is not their nature, that Israel starved the entire Strip, people and animals alike. Yet she admits the terror and revulsion are things she cannot reason her way out of, because in the end she is human and the images stay with her. She recalls the documented killing of Muhammad Bhar, the young man with Down syndrome who was mauled to death by an Israeli army combat dog in Shujaiya as he pleaded "enough, my love," and she points to the systematic use of trained attack dogs, imported and deployed by the occupation, to rape and torture Palestinian hostages in its prisons. What she describes is how an entire population's relationship with the living world has been bent out of shape under siege and starvation. She speaks of fearing even cats, sensing they might see hungry, emaciated bodies as their next meal, and of the most haunting detail of all: children in Gaza who, while playing with cats, have started telling them, "Tomorrow when we die, don't you dare eat us." Marah knows it is the occupation's engineered starvation and violence that turned the animals' nature, that the dogs and cats are victims of the same policy as the people. But she is honest that it has also changed something inside her that may be hard to mend, one more wound from a war that has reached into the smallest and most intimate corners of life in Gaza. Ekaterina Duntsova, 40, from Tver region, editor-in-chief of the local TV studio, local politician and mom of three, has announced her candidacy for the Russian presidential "elections" next spring. I will watch the situation with her carefully and will report here about news about Duntsova. Keep reading to find out more about her. Ekaterina Duntsova, a resident of Rzhev town in Tver region of Russia, announced she would be running for president on November 16. She said she would be the advocate for stopping combat, democratic reforms, and release of political prisoners. Her candidacy was supported by the Nash Shtab project, which was created by a group of the "Ark Project" staff in October to support anti-war presidential candidates. After that, posts promoting Duntzova's candidacy were shared on dozens of Russian Telegram channels. Five days after making her announcement, Duntsova was summoned to the Russian prosecutor's office and questioned about her attitude toward the war in Ukraine. According to Duntsova, she was questioned about her candidacy and her attitude to the war in Ukraine. Afterwards, she signed an explanatory statement in which she confirmed that the VKontakte (Russian social media) page belonged to her and gave a general explanation. ▪️ As reported by Duntzova herself, she is 40 years old and has three children. According to her VKontakte social network page, she has been working in the media in Rzhev since 2003 and was editor-in-chief of the local TV studio RIT from 2006 to 2022. In 2019 she was elected deputy of the City Duma, where she worked until 2022. ▪️ According to Duntsova's VKontakte posts, since 2016 she has actively supported the city's main "United Russia" (leading political party in Russia) political party member Roman Krylov: she voted for him in the party's primaries during his nomination to the regional parliament, and as a deputy, she supported his appointment as the city's head. She also reposted Krylov's call to vote in the 2018 presidential election and urged people to vote in 2020 on constitutional amendments that nullified presidential terms (she voted against it). ▪️ Duntsova explained her support for the member of the United Russia party Krylov by saying that at the local level, what is more important to her is the connections, competencies, and qualities a person possesses, rather than which political force he or she belongs to. She also noted that in politics it is necessary to interact with different parties, otherwise it is impossible to solve some important issues for citizens. Speaking about voting on amendments to the Constitution, Duntsova said that she believes it is necessary to participate in all elections and referendums. The Nash Shtab project, which supported Duntsova, was created in October by a group of the "Ark's" associates. The project is reportedly ready to support any candidate with an anti-war stance who advocates democratic reforms, an immediate end to the war and the release of political prisoners. Candidates are promised assistance in collecting signatures and organizing election campaigns. ▪️ A member of Nash Shtab Burakova told the Russian media agency that they have interviewed 14 potential candidates and so far only Duntsova has accepted all their terms. For now, they are helping her with her website, design and social media campaign, and in January they will start collecting signatures for her nomination, which will take place all over the world, she added. According to her, the project has no funding at the moment and operates only thanks to volunteers, but private donors are now being sought. She said the advertising posts that have appeared on major Telegram channels are free of charge and explained them as the work of volunteers who have the necessary connections.

Thursday morning, an Israeli airstrike struck the home of Mona Khalil in Mansouri, South of Lebanon. The home itself was modest. But what it sheltered was extraordinary. For decades, while many spoke about protecting nature, Mona lived that commitment every single day. From her small house overlooking the sea, she became the guardian of a coastline, the protector of countless sea turtles, and a voice for creatures that could not speak for themselves. She chose to stay. She stayed through uncertainty, through fear, through danger. She stayed because the beach she watched over was not just a stretch of sand. It was a sanctuary. A place of life. A place worth defending. Mona was seriously injured and her assistant suffered burns. Both are thankfully in stable condition. Yet the tragedy goes far beyond their wounds. With war reaching a woman whose life’s mission has been to protect life, something deeper is injured, a part of our humanity is wounded. Violence does not distinguish between a fighter and a conservationist, between a military position and a nest of endangered turtles, between those who destroy and those who dedicate their lives to preserving. Mona Khalil spent years protecting one of Lebanon’s most fragile treasures. Today, it is Mona who needs protection. And perhaps the greatest tribute we can pay her is to ensure that her courage, her mission, and her love for this land survive long after the smoke has cleared ❤️🇱🇧 #lebanon #humanity #truth #worldenvironmentday2026

EXCLUSIVE: Young Ontario woman's life becomes a living hell after Moderna booster shot leaves her paralyzed. Doctors confirm vaccine connection and offer Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID). Kayla Pollock is a 37-year-old mother from Ontario whose life took a drastic turn after receiving a Moderna Covid-19 booster shot. She experienced paralysis from the neck down and has been enduring a challenging ordeal ever since. Kayla's early years were marked by unspeakable cruelty and suffering. As an infant, she endured the horrors of severe abuse, including broken bones, cigarette burns, and bruises inflicted upon her helpless body by her parents. Her distressing situation prompted the intervention of family and children services, ultimately leading to her placement in a caring, loving and supportive home. As she grew older, Kayla dedicated the majority of her younger adult years to behavioral training of exotic animals. However, she eventually made the decision to resign from this profession after having her son, recognizing the inherent risks of the job. Kayla eventually ended up in the small town of Mount Albert, Ontario, where she co-raised her son after a separation. She worked as a casual educational assistant at Robert Munsch Public School, assisting kindergarten children. Her home was conveniently located right next to the school. Kayla's son attended the same school where she worked, and she expressed her love for her job and the positive direction her life was heading. Describing herself as fit, healthy, and very active, Kayla enjoyed hiking, being outdoors, gardening, and going places with her son. When the pandemic struck, Kayla recalls the mainstream media, politicians, and public health officials emphasizing the severity of the virus and urging everyone to get vaccinated. She remembers health officials specifically advising that those at highest risk should prioritize getting vaccinated. Being immunocompromised and a type one diabetic, Kayla heeded the advice of health officials and received the first two Pfizer shots in the middle of 2021 and didn’t experience any issues. Additionally, she mentions another reason for getting vaccinated was because her father resided in a long-term care facility with dementia, and vaccination was going to be a requirement for entry into the care home. Kayla then decided to take a booster, but this time it was a Moderna booster shot. She recounts going to a vaccination drive and the police being there. She found that odd and questioned why the police were present. According to Kayla, people were upset that Moderna was being given out instead of Pfizer, and that was the reason for the police presence. Kayla says that something didn’t sit right in her gut, but she went ahead with the Moderna booster shot anyway. She explains her reasoning for getting the third shot was because she felt like a third one would be mandated at some point to get access into her dads long term care home. She received the Moderna booster shot on January 11, 2022. Four days later, Kayla described a situation where her legs just gave out, and she collapsed, but all seemed fine a short time later. Then, nine days later, she experienced a similar event, and at that time, she called her doctor, asking to see a neurologist because she suspected something wasn’t right. On the morning of February 22, 2022, Kayla's life took an irreversible turn. As she awoke, opened her eyes, a sudden realization struck her – she couldn't move her body. Despite the shock, she says she remained calm and started yelling for help. Fortunately, her boyfriend who spent the night, was in the driveway preparing to leave for work, and heard her cries for help. Her boyfriend called 911 and Kayla was transported to Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario. While in the emergency department Kayla recounts that the attending physician initially dismissed her symptoms, suggesting that it was all in her head and portrayed her as a "crazy person," and ordered a psychiatric consult. All of what Kayla describes happening is evident in her medical records which we obtained and reviewed. Eventually, an MRI was conducted, revealing that Kayla had a very large lesion on her spinal cord. A neurologist followed up with Kayla and recommended a course of steroids in an attempt to decrease the size of the lesion. Kayla questioned the neurologist and asked if the lesion could be a tumor. In an audio recording taken by Kayla’s boyfriend, the neurologist responds, saying, “it's less likely a tumor” and that it is his “gut impression it was caused by the vaccine.” When Kayla questions the doctor as to whether many people have had something similar happen to them, the doctor responds, saying “many people have had it.” Later, Kayla would learn that she had developed transverse myelitis, a condition that interrupts the transmission of messages along the spinal cord nerves throughout the body. She would go on to spend several months in the hospital, where she says she was offered medical assistance in dying (MAID) on two occasions but rejected the offer. During Kayla's hospital stay, she received steroids, which she claims helped to some extent, allowing her to regain very slight movement in her arms, hands, and fingers. However, she still has absolutely no feeling from the neck down. Visually examining her fingernails reveals decay due to the lack of nerve function. Kayla believes that if the initial doctor had taken her concerns seriously, rather than dismissing her as a "crazy person," and promptly ordered an MRI, she might have been able to walk again or experience sensation in some parts of her body that she doesn’t have today. After her initial treatment at the local hospital, Kayla was subsequently transferred to Lyndhurst Rehabilitation Centre in Toronto to undergo several months of intensive rehabilitation aimed at attempting to restore her physical capabilities and adapting to her new reality. Unfortunately, Kayla says that rehab did not help her. Following her discharge from the hospital, she now takes a long list of drugs daily. She ended up losing everything she worked hard for—her home, the ability to co-raise her son, and her job, essentially losing everything. Kayla was placed on provincial disability and was forced to move away from Mount Albert, where her son lives, into an apartment that could accommodate her wheelchair accessibility needs. Kayla has faced challenges in obtaining the promised hours of in-home care after leaving the hospital. Kayla relies on a personal support worker to help her get out of bed each morning, another organization assists with meal preparation, and in the evenings, a friend comes over to manually extract feces from her bowel and aid her in getting into bed. Securing compensation through the federal government’s Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) has been difficult for Kayla. She initiated the application process in July of 2022, following up with the program six months later. However, according to Kayla, her application was still under review at that time. Another six months elapsed, and when she sought an update, the program informed her that they had never received her initial application. In response, Kayla reapplied to the program and was recently assigned a case worker. Uncertainty looms over whether she will be approved and, if approved, when she will receive any form of compensation. Kayla faces challenges in performing simple tasks both at home and in the community. She is in a difficult financial situation and desperately seeks a service dog. According to her, having a service dog would not only assist her with daily tasks but also offer companionship, providing her with much-needed company. An organization called Veterans 4 Freedom has stepped in to help Kayla and has set up a GiveSendGo campaign to help her raise funds for a service dog. A link to that fundraising campaign is below.

Not merely as a clever fighter, but as a force driven by an unbreakable, almost immortal spirit. She is the daughter of the once renowned Mr. Satan (Hercule), who fell during one of the androids’ most devastating attacks. Yet her legacy is no hollow echo of fame. Trained in martial arts from a young age, her fire was ignited by rebellion and tempered through pain. Unlike her counterparts in other timelines, Future Videl learned to sense Ki entirely on her own, mastering it through instinct, solitude, meditation, and sheer determination. The peace she once dreamed of was shattered by loss and apocalypse, but something inside her never broke. Much like the warrior who protected Earth from the androids for years, her tactical brilliance, empathy, stubbornness, cold-blooded clarity, and raw willpower made her another spark standing defiantly against despair. A living reminder that you don’t need overwhelming power to make a difference if your resolve is strong enough to face risk, responsibility, and sacrifice head on. A dreamer and an observer. Loyal and cunning. Fierce, yet gentle. Videl listens to the whispers of everyone, and because of that, with Bulma’s help, she founded the New Hope Outpost at Capsule Corporation: a place where survivors and homeless people, humans and animals, can find shelter after destruction, or a second chance. Videl has always heard stories about Future Gohan, feeling both admiration and a quiet attraction toward him, especially after he saved her following the death of her entire family. Yet, for many reasons, she chose to admire him from afar. Over the years, she developed a deep passion for technology, inspired by Bulma’s genius. This led her to experiment with cybernetics, eventually creating sentry robots to patrol the area in her stead, ensuring she is always ready to defend her people. As for Trunks, little is known about the true nature of her bond with him. Today, she is known as The Reader of Hearts. The Phoenix Sentinel. The very Incarnation of Hope. The last shield for the innocent in a world where even heroes deserve to breathe, rest, and feel seen. The character of Future Videl is conceived as a hybrid of: 🌹 Personal and fan-made inspiration. 🌹 In some parts of the story, it may recall the manga Temptation, written and illustrated by Rozenphox/Phoxden. 🌹 In other parts of the plot, it may recall Dragon Ball Multiverse. 🌹 My Future Videl does not come from Universe 9. 🌹 She is not a tomboy, although she may appear so in certain circumstances. 🌹 Videl's outpost name is a tribute to the fan manga Dragon Ball: New Hope. 🌹 The Videl of my lore has an even more painful secondary, secret backstory, including a temporal alteration caused by a mysterious Saiyan. 🌹 Other characteristics of my Future Videl are drawn from the author herself, me, and reflect real life metaphors. ⚠️ Every roleplay event will be added as an experience that truly happened in her life; therefore, resets such as “I meet you today, tomorrow I have never met you” will not be allowed. The last time Queen Elizabeth II appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony was on June 5, 2022, during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations marking her 70 years on the throne. She joined Charles, Camilla, Prince William, Catherine, and their children—George, Charlotte, and Louis—for the finale of the Jubilee Pageant 🥺 The Queen, then 96, waved to the crowds, tears in her eyes and smiled, despite having experienced mobility issues and health challenges due to her dying of painful bone cancer that limited her public appearances. Dressed in a vibrant green coat and hat, she was met with cheers and a rendition of "God Save the Queen." This moment was poignant, as it was one of her final public appearances before her death on September 8, 2022. The balcony appearance, a rare and symbolic gesture, underscored her lifelong dedication to duty, even as her health declined. Yet, at that very moment, she knew that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were deep in production of their Netflix docuseries, *Harry & Meghan*, a calculated project that would tarnish the Queen’s legacy and unfairly attack her family. While she stood as a symbol of duty, they were filming and planning a series that attacked the institution she built, attacking the Commonwealth that she beloved and airing delusional grievances that attacked royal family. It was lie after lie, exaggerations, disinformation, false narratives and blatant fake accusations. Released just months after her death, the series was a betrayal, exploiting her life’s work for profit and publicity, undermining everything she stood for with a carefully timed smear campaign. Denied their desired part-time royal status and barred from profiting off their titles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also stripped of patronages and privileges reserved for royals serving the head of state. Unfazed by the late Queen’s declining health, they pursued vengeance, driven by Meghan’s narcissistic fury over the collapse of her meticulously orchestrated Sunshine Sachs strategy to chase Hollywood, thwarted by Her Majesty’s refusal to allow commercial exploitation. In retaliation, they viciously attacked the Queen, even twisting her iconic speech with appalling cruelty and disrespect in the Netflix series. Harry and Meghan’s kids will eventually dig into the truth, and no amount of their parents’ control or isolation will stop them. The past will hit hard when they realise the mess their parents made. They’ll say, “You trashed her life’s work on Netflix while she was dying of bone cancer, cutting us off from our family? You’re selfish and toxic. I’m done—I’m moving to the UK to get away from you.” The future’s set, and no manipulation will change it. Grief is the price we pay for love, and Queen Elizabeth II bore that cost with a heavy heart in her final years, her stoic face on that last Buckingham Palace balcony appearance, revealing the deep wounds inflicted by Harry and Meghan’s cruel betrayal and knowing that it would be the last time she would there. She deserved far better than their entitled, spiteful actions, which cast a shadow over her twilight moments when it should have been happy and peaceful. Harry broke his grandmother’s heart, let down his grandparents, and would have deeply upset Princess Diana, who valued the Monarchy, respected the late Queen, and would have felt compassion for a woman who devoted her life to the country while battling painful bone cancer. Yet, the late Queen’s spirit was lifted by the unwavering love of her devoted family, who wrapped her with care and brought flickers of joy to a time marred by pain. Now reunited with her beloved Prince Philip, she is free from the sting of disloyalty. Rest in peace, Ma’am, forever cherished for your service. “Thank you for your love and devotion to our family and to the family of nations you have served so diligently all these years. May ‘flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest’." 🕊️🥺💔 #QueenElizabethll #PrinceHarry #MeghanMarkle

She summarizes the scene with words full of pain and containing a message, some of which are clear and some of which are expressed in her tone and the way she speaks. She mentions the names of Al-Madani and Abu Talib, and says with courage what many men would not say. She delivered a message and shamed and shocked us all by confirming that they are the feet of many men. By God, she said nothing but the truth. Oprah Winfrey is Coming Under HEAVY SCRUTINY Over Her Suspicious Maui Land Purchasing Just Prior To The Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii Fires 🔥 ‌ OPRAH: “Owns over 2000 acres on Maui, 870 of which were just purchased earlier this year” What Luck! How Did She Know?!? ‌ We have the media trying to paid Oprah as a saint as you see in some of these news clips but local residents (and anyone with a brain) IS NOT BUYING IT ‌ “We move on for the moment to one of the island's most famous long time residents. This is on the recovery side of things, Oprah Winfrey. She spent the past several days, along with many, many others, doing what she could. You would see people lined up, cots, cots, cots, right next to each other. You would see people with all of their worldly possessions in, you know, like a small garbage bag. You figure out what the rebuild. ‌ I'm not buying it owning 2,000 acres of someone else's land, someone else's sacred land. Oprah now commands over 1,000 acres, but here's the twist. Amidst this real estate surge, a sudden fire happens, destroying homes nearby, but leaving her vast terrains unscathed. Once again, Oprah Winfrey is allegedly on the verge of getting canceled over the whooping amount of land she owns in Maui, amid the recent devastating fires in the area. ‌ Let us take a look at Oprah Winfrey and her lands that are causing her controversy after controversy. Oprah Winfrey has sparked controversy with her recent visit to the War Memorial Complex in Wailuku, which is currently functioning as an emergency shelter for survivors of the Maui fires. Her visit generated headlines after reports emerged that she was denied entry along with a CBS News crew. ‌ Oprah's initial visit was met with restrictions imposed by the shelter management and according to reports she was informed that no camera crews or journalists would be allowed inside the shelter to respect the privacy and dignity of those seeking refuge. ‌ —— ongoing debate about her presence and actions in Maui in light of her purchases of over 2000 acres as natives continue to be priced out of their ancestral home. Since the fires began, people have called out Oprah on social media and this situation has only deepened the debate over her controversial presence on Maui since she has been a part time resident of the island since the early 2000s ‌ She owns over 2000 acres on Maui, 870 of which were just purchased earlier this year. One of the things Oprah was able to do after she took her first tour through there, had a visit with people, is she went to Costco, she went to Wal-Mart and she bought just basic necessities. Oprah told BBC that she found out what people needed then shopped at Walmart and Costco so she could hand out supplies like pillows, shampoo and diapers. And outside of the shelter, she and CBS News spoke to some victims and volunteers. These reports caused an uproar online and allegations started being thrown around. ‌ Most were asking why a billionaire with such a lot of land in Maui, which has been alleged to not have been scathed, did not offer to help by seeking shelter for the residents. Some claimed that buying necessities for the people would close people's eyes to the fact that she has enough of the locals' land to help them out. The County of Maui shared a statement on Facebook writing, To clarify, Oprah was able to visit our shelter and we thank her for instructing media journalists and camera crews to remain outside. We welcome Oprah to continue to uplift our community's spirit and give her aloha to victims of the tragedy. ‌ DEWs, Direct Energy Weapons #Hawaii #Maui #MauiFires #Lahaina #LahainaFires #DEWs #DirectedEnergyWeapons

This morning, my bestestestest friend, Alex Edith Busingye Amooti Nyakabwa, left this world for the next. She was only 74 years young. I feel a deep sense of loss and relief: loss for the passing of an amazing friend and human being; relief because Amooti has rested after a long and exhausting battle and knowing that wherever she has gone, it’s a better place. Amooti has been in a coma for almost seven months. The pain of seeing her in that state was, to me, unbearable. I felt she needed to rest. Yet I always loved seeing her breathing. Even when it was clear there was no hope of her regaining consciousness, I still hoped that against all the odds, she would bounce back to life. In her very rich and fruitful life, Amooti triumphed over many things. This singular illness was not the worst, or so I wanted to believe. I met Amooti when I was only 13 or 14 years because she was the mother of my closest friends at Nyakasura School, Walter and Wesley. People like her are the ones who, through the way they treated me, helped me cultivate confidence because they showed faith in me. I want to give this testimony because if I have been able to be anything, it is because of the love people like her have extended to me. And for Amooti, her role in my life was exceptional and unprecedented. There was, deep inside Amooti’s personality, a welcoming loveliness that was so beautiful. Amooti and I became the bestestestest friends in the world on the first day of our meeting; it was love at first sight. From our first meeting, I would always visit her and we have marathon conversations lasting hours on end: me a teenager, her a mother to my friends. I would confide in her my deepest fears and anxieties, share with her secrets I would not even share with Walter and Wesley or my own mother. As I grew in age so did the love, affection and respect between us grow and blossom. Her children: Walter, Wesley, Ingrid, Edgar, Pearl and Beverly became my siblings. Whenever someone dies, the question that comes to my mind is: of what value have they been: to family, to friends, to community? On that score, Amooti lived a very satisfactory, meaningful, purposeful and productive life. She has left a legacy that inspires, humbles and awes everyone who knew her. I will write about this in a lengthy eulogy. And for now, I would like to say that Amooti represented the nobility of the human spirit. She had, in great abundance, three great qualities: largeness of mind, kindness of heart and boundless generosity. She made everyone, young and old, rich or poor, male or female, literate or illiterate, of high or low rank feel recognized, appreciated, seen, heard, felt, loved, care for. When her husband, Vincent William Kwebiiha Akiiki Nyakabwa, died in 1991 leaving her six young children, Amooti rose to the occasion. She took on the responsibility with the energy, enthusiasm and passion only her could assemble. She took all of them through the best schools and set them on the road to professional and career success. Few women left alone with such a esponsibility have been half as successful. Amooti triumphed because where others see problems, she saw opportunities; because where most people in difficult situations lose hope and become despondent, Amooti found inspiration and motivation to work hard and to overcome even when all the odds were against her. Amooti was great because she saw possibilities in everything, because she was forever an optimist, and most critically because he believed in the goodness of others. She saw herself in other people, and because of that, she made those who met and interacted with her, develop goodness in their hearts.

Karina Gould’s Karina Gould political career is a cesspool of shady behavior, questionable decisions, and a blatant disregard for transparency that reeks of incompetence and cowardice. Let’s start with her so called leadership run in the 2025 Liberal Party race, a pathetic display that screams orchestrated farce. She shelled out $350,000 in money raised from over 3,000 donors whose identities remain conveniently hidden behind privacy laws, to enter a contest she knew she’d lose, finishing with a measly 4,800 votes against Mark Carney’s landslide 85%. This wasn’t a serious bid; it was a sham, a token effort to prop up the illusion of competition while Carney waltzed into power. The fact that she’d blow that kind of cash on a predetermined outcome, with no accountability for where it came from beyond vague claims of “grass-roots support,” is suspicious as hell. Then there’s the Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) scandal, a festering mess she helped perpetuate as Government House Leader. The Auditor General exposed it as a cesspit of mismanagement 90 conflict of interest violations and $59 million shoveled into ineligible projects, yet Gould played gatekeeper, stalling the release of critical documents the RCMP needed to investigate. Her excuse? Some flimsy claim about Charter rights and parliamentary procedure, all while the government eventually coughed up nearly 29,000 pages under pressure. This wasn’t leadership; it was a calculated dodge, a move to shield her party from accountability while the public was left in the dark about how their money was squandered. Don’t forget the budget document fiasco, where she stalled and delayed like a coward until the last possible second, then dropped the papers and bolted. The specifics might be muddled, maybe it’s tangled up with the SDTC mess but the pattern is clear: she drags her feet when transparency’s on the line, then runs when the heat’s on. It’s a spineless act, perfectly in character for someone who’d rather hide than confront the consequences of her actions. Speaking of hiding, her social media game is a disgrace. Turning off comments on her X account isn’t just undemocratic, it’s a middle finger to the people she’s supposed to serve. She’s not interested in dialogue or criticism; she’s curating a sanitized echo chamber, blocking out the voices of Canadians who deserve answers. The Yaroslav Hunka incident in 2023 is another stain she can’t scrub off. Caught in a photo holding hands with a former Nazi unit member during a parliamentary event, she tried to slink away by deleting the evidence and pushing to erase it from official records. Her motion failed, thanks to opposition pushback, but the audacity of trying to rewrite history instead of owning the mistake is galling. She whined about her Jewish heritage being hurt, yet her first instinct was to cover it up, not confront it, a move that screams political cowardice over principle. And let’s not gloss over her handling of foreign interference as Minister of Democratic Institutions. Briefed on Chinese meddling in the 2019 election, she downplayed it as “low-level” and did nothing meaningful, leaving critics to rightly slam her for letting foreign influence fester under her watch. Her high bar for disclosure was just another way to keep the public ignorant. Financial transparency? Forget it. She was late disclosing investment shares in a family business, raising red flags about conflicts of interest she couldn’t be bothered to address upfront. Then, as Minister of International Development, she funneled cash into the UNRWA despite its ties to Hamas and dodgy educational materials, a decision so reckless it’s practically a scandal in itself. Her leadership campaign logo got mocked as a cartoonish joke on X, a fitting symbol for a run that was all optics and no substance. She knew she wouldn’t win, yet she played the game anyway, wasting everyone’s time and money to prop up a rigged show.

Ghislaine Maxwell gleefully boasts that she's happier than ever in low-level prison: 'It's like Alice in Wonderland!' | Emma Richter, Daily Mail Convicted criminal Ghislaine Maxwell has cheerfully gushed about her splendid life inside a new low-level prison in Texas, and even compared it to the fantasy world of Alice in Wonderland. Jeffrey Epstein's madame, who is serving 20 years for her role in recruiting and trafficking minors for sex for him, gladly opened up about her cushy new prison life that makes her feel 'safer' and 'more comfortable' compared to her old digs. 'The institution is run in an orderly fashion which makes for a safer more comfortable environment for all people concerned, inmates and guards alike,' the 63-year-old wrote in an email to a relative obtained by NBC News. 'In other words I feel like I have dropped through Alice in Wonderlands looking glass. I am much much happier here and more importantly safe,' the dead financer's right-hand woman said. 'So yes everyone can breath [sic] a sigh,' she added. Maxwell went on to discuss how much cleaner the facility is and even gave a special nod to Tanisha Hall, the warden of Federal Prison Camp Bryan - where she is serving her sentence. 'Bryan is a different beast in every possible respect to Tal. It is a well managed well run institution with an execellent [sic] Warden who leads from the top. 'She is a true professional and the best representative of the BOP I have met,' she said of Hall. The disgraced socialite also boasted about the lack of violent behavior from behind bars and the excellent food service she receives. 'The food is legions better, the place is clean, the staff responsive and polite - I haven't seen or heard the usual foul language or screaming accompanied by threats leveled at inmates by anyone,' Maxwell wrote. She added: 'I have not seen a single fight, drug deal, passed out person or naked inmate running around or several of them congregating in a shower!' In another correspondence she detailed how thrilled she was to know that wild animals aren't contaminating the food and kitchen space. 'The kitchen looks clean too — no possums falling from the celling [sic] to fry unfortunately on ovens, and become mingled with the food being served,' she stated. The emails were shared with the House Judiciary Committee after Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland wrote to Hall on October 20 inquiring about Maxwell's reported lavish treatment behind bars. The Texas prison, which is not known for housing inmates convicted of sexual-related crimes like hers, became Maxwell's new home in July after she had a meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche about the alleged Epstein files. The files were believed to include a reported VIP client list created by the dead pedophile of those who were involved in Epstein's sick scheme, but according to Maxwell no such list exists. Although Maxwell seems very happy to share her new living conditions, her attorney David Oscar Markus said it's about time people 'get over the fact that she is in a safer facility' and that 'there's nothing journalistic about publishing a prisoner's private emails.' He added: 'Anyone still interested in that kind of gossip reveals far more about themselves than about Ghislaine. It’s time to get over the fact that she is in a safer facility. We should want that for everyone.' The felon's brother, Ian Maxwell, said his messages with his sister are between them, so he believes 'they were stolen and leaked without authorisation [sic] and represent a breach of intellectual property rights and the fundamental right of all citizens to privacy.' Her emails suggest Maxwell might be getting special help behind bars, especially from the warden. In a September correspondence, Maxwell shared how Hall helped her when she ran into an issue with receiving documents by a specific deadline to appeal before the Supreme Court. 'Her creative solution was that you EM/scan it to her and she will scan back my changes! Of course that is fantastic as it saves days and days,' she said of the warden. The family of Virginia Giuffre, who suffered abuse at the hands of Epstein and his girlfriend, as well as alleged abuse from Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the former Duke of York, are not at all pleased with Maxwell's new life behind bars. In a statement to NBC News, the family said: 'We strongly reject the notion that a convicted child sex trafficker should reside in a residential neighborhood shielded by fences instead of bars. Giuffre died by suicide in April just months before her memoir detailing the abuse she endured came out in October. When contacted by the Daily Mail for comment, the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), said the agency 'is not available to respond' because of 'the lapse in appropriations,' referring to the ongoing government shutdown. The Daily Mail contacted Federal Prison Camp Bryan and Markus for comment.
