في أوقات الأزمات، تكون الاستجابة السريعة هي ما يصنع الفرق. تعمل فرق مؤسسة مخزومي الإنسانية والطبية والمتطوعون على الأرض بشكل متواصل لدعم العائلات النازحة وتلبية احتياجاتهم الأساسية. تحوّلت مدينة كميل شمعون الرياضية إلى مركز ايواء يستقبل آلاف الأشخاص حيث تمّ تأمين المولدات والإنارة بالطاقة الشمسية. وفي الوقت نفسه، تواصل فرق المؤسسة عملها في عدد من مراكز الإيواء الأخرى في المدارس. يقدّم الفريق الطبي معاينات طبية ويوفّر الأدوية بالتنسيق مع شبكة الرعاية الصحية الأولية في وزارة الصحة العامة وشركائنا في القطاع الصحي. كما تعمل الفرق الإغاثية بالتعاون مع مطبخ الخير على تحضير وتوزيع الوجبات الساخنة يوميًا. فرقنا حاضرة… لأن العمل الإنساني لا يتوقف عندما تشتد الأزمات. القرآن… حين تنهض غزة من بين الركام في شمال غزة، حيث ما زالت آثار الحرب على الجدران والطرق والقلوب، اجتمع 1400 حافظٍ وحافظةٍ لكتاب الله في مشهدٍ يختصر قصة هذا الشعب. ليس مجرد اجتماعٍ لحفظ القرآن… بل إعلانٌ واضح أن المشروع القرآني في غزة حيٌّ لا يموت، وأن الرسالة التي يحملها هذا الشعب أقوى من كل محاولات الكسر والإبادة. لقد أرادوا أن يهدموا البيوت، وأن يطفئوا النور في هذه الأرض، لكنهم اكتشفوا أن النور الحقيقي ليس في الجدران… بل في الصدور. في غزة، قد تهدم الحرب المساجد والمدارس، لكنها لا تستطيع أن تهدم القرآن حين يسكن القلوب. هنا في شمال غزة… يقف 1400 حافظٍ وحافظة كرسالةٍ للعالم: أن شعبًا يحفظ كتاب الله لن تنكسر روحه، ولن تُطفأ رسالته، ولن تُمحى هويته مهما اشتدت المحن. هذه ليست مجرد صور… بل شهادة على أن غزة، رغم الإبادة والدمار، ما زالت تنهض بالقرآن، وتكتب به مستقبلها. هنا غزة… إذا تهدمت الجدران، بقي القرآن. The Qur’an… When Gaza Rises from the Rubble In northern Gaza, where the scars of war remain on the streets, the walls, and the hearts, 1,400 memorizers of the Qur’an gathered in a scene that tells the story of a people. This is not merely a gathering of students of the Qur’an. It is a declaration that the Qur’anic mission in Gaza is alive and unstoppable, and that the message carried by this people is stronger than every attempt to break or erase it. They tried to destroy the homes and extinguish the light of this land, yet they discovered that the true light does not live in walls — it lives in hearts. In Gaza, wars may destroy mosques and schools, but they cannot destroy the Qur’an when it lives within people’s chests. Here in northern Gaza, 1,400 memorizers stand as a message to the world: that a people who carry the Book of God will never have their spirit broken, their mission silenced, or their identity erased. These are not just images. They are proof that Gaza, despite genocide and destruction, still rises with the Qur’an and writes its future through it. On the eve of their professional holiday, I presented state awards to our healthcare professionals and handed decorations to the families of the medics who lost their lives and were honored posthumously. Today, Ukrainian healthcare professionals – your resilience and your dedication – are an example to all of us and to the entire world. Despite extraordinarily difficult conditions and an immense, constant workload, you continue to do your job. Every day you work brings more Ukrainian lives saved and advances our healthcare system. We are building a rehabilitation system that will undoubtedly become one of the strongest in Europe. Hundreds of rehabilitation facilities are already operating across Ukraine. Every day, our healthcare professionals conduct more than 17,000 therapy sessions – six times as many as at the beginning of this war. We are building a modern mental health system. Thank you to everyone helping our people cope with loss, anxiety, exhaustion, and the consequences of war. We are also developing our transplant system. Since the start of this war, our medical teams have performed nearly 2,500 transplants. These are not just statistics – it's all about the people who have been given a chance to live. Our teams evacuating the wounded from different sectors of the front have already saved more than 80,000 people. I thank you for your professionalism, resilience, and humanity. And most of all, thank you for every life you have saved.

And most critically, life-saving dialysis machines, spare parts, and medical supplies were deliberately blocked and prevented from entering Gaza. Today in Gaza, a kidney failure patient does not suffer from illness alone. They suffer from the absence of treatment, the lack of dialysis machines, constant power outages, severe medicine shortages, and hunger — which finishes what the disease begins. There are patients who need regular dialysis simply to stay alive. But now they are waiting — not for a hospital bed, because real hospitals no longer exist, only damaged buildings with no equipment, no electricity, and no capacity to treat. How can a body weakened by kidney failure endure hunger? How can someone survive without dialysis? How can a patient remain conscious when food is the only thing keeping their body from collapse? Inside what remains of hospitals, patients collapse in silence. Pale faces. Fragile bodies. Exhausted souls fighting only to survive one more day. 🍽️ Food for kidney failure patients is not charity. It is a medical necessity. It is the difference between standing and falling, between holding on and collapsing, between life and a slow, preventable death. What we provide today may be the only thing giving a kidney failure patient the strength to stay alive in the complete absence of medical care. ثمانية أطفال … وقصة شعب لا يُهزم حين تنتصر الحياة على الحصار مشاهد توثّق عودة الأطفال الخُدّج إلى أحضان أمهاتهم… تلك اللحظات التي لا تُقدّر بثمن، والتي جاءت جبرًا لخواطرنا بعد وجعٍ لا يوصف. لم تكن هذه العودة مجرد حدث… بل كانت ثمرة تضحيات عظيمة، قدّمها الكادر الصحي وأبناء شعبنا، من دمائهم، وأجسادهم، وجوعهم، ونزوحهم… تضحيات لا يستطيع أحد أن يتخيّل حجمها. هذه اللحظات كُتبت بدماء من استُشهدوا، وبآلام من اعتُقلوا وعُذّبوا، وبصبر من لا يزالون خلف القضبان، ينتظرون لحظة كهذه… لحظة الحياة. نحن لا نتحدث عن أطفال فقط، بل عن مستقبل شعب، وعن غدٍ يُكتب من جديد، عن طفل فلسطيني حاول الاحتلال أن يمحوه، فإذا به يعود شاهدًا على فشل الإبادة، وصمود الحياة في وجه الموت. اليوم عادوا… ثمانية أطفال خدّج، كانوا بين الحياة والموت، فعادوا ليحكوا قصة انتصار الإرادة والإيمان. في نوفمبر 2023، وتحت حصار مجمع الشفاء الطبي، حيث قُطع الماء والكهرباء والأكسجين، وكان هناك 33 طفلًا خدّجًا في الحضّانات… نُقلوا تحت القصف، في ظروف بالغة القسوة، بحثًا عن لحظة أمان. غطّينا أجسادهم بالقصدير لنحميهم من البرد، وحرمنا أنفسنا من الماء لنوفّر لهم قطرة حياة، ففقدنا بعضهم… وبقي بعضهم يقاوم. وثّقنا صورهم، فاهتزّ لها ضمير العالم، حتى جاء يوم إجلائهم إلى جمهورية مصر العربية، في رحلة محفوفة بالخطر، بين الدبابات والجنود. دفعنا ثمنًا باهظًا كي لا نتركهم… وبقينا معهم حتى آخر لحظة. واليوم… عادوا. عادوا أحياء، إلى أحضان أمهاتهم، ليقولوا للعالم: إن إرادة الحياة أقوى من إرادة القتل، وأن غزة… رغم الألم، تصنع المجد، وتكتب النصر بإذن الله. In November 2023, under the siege of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, water, electricity, and oxygen were cut off. There were 33 premature babies in incubators. Under bombardment, they were moved in extremely dangerous and harsh conditions in search of safety. We wrapped their fragile bodies in foil to protect them from the cold. We deprived ourselves of clean water to give them a chance to live. Some were lost… others survived. Their images were captured and shared, shaking the conscience of the world. After ten days, they were evacuated to Egypt in a perilous journey amid tanks and soldiers. We paid a heavy price to stay by their side… and never abandoned them. Today, they return—alive— to their mothers’ embrace, declaring to the world: That the will to live is stronger than the will to kill. And that Gaza—despite all pain— continues to create dignity, and write victory, by the will of God.

Swedish-Made Medical Coolers Found at UAE-Backed Rapid Support Forces Militia Sites in Khartoum Deepen Allegations of Organ Harvesting and Link Secret Detention Centres, Mass Graves and Thousands of Missing Civilians The Sudanese army has found Swedish-made medical coolers produced by Dometic Medical Systems in areas of Khartoum recaptured from the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces militia. The equipment is designed to preserve and transport temperature-sensitive medical and biological materials. The discovery strengthens serious allegations that the militia harvested organs from civilians it killed or detained inside the network of secret prisons it established across Khartoum and Darfur, using specialised cooling equipment to preserve and transport the organs through an organised trafficking network. In a letter dated 12 June 2026, the Sudanese government informed the United Nations Security Council that the Rapid Support Forces militia operated mass detention centres where prisoners were subjected to torture, starvation and killing. The letter also stated that foreign medical personnel had participated in removing organs from detainees at Dagris Prison in Nyala as part of a cross-border organ trafficking network. According to the letter, around 20,000 people were being held at Dagris Prison in Nyala, while hundreds of others, including children, were detained at Shalla Prison in El Fasher. The discovery of medical coolers at militia sites in Khartoum adds a physical dimension to these claims and raises direct questions about the fate of thousands of civilians who disappeared after being detained, the recipients of the organs and the routes used to transport them outside Sudan. I deplore today’s strikes on the PRCS-run Al-Amal hospital in the southern #Gaza city of Khan Younis, which severely damaged the Palestine Red Crescent Society training centre located within the hospital complex. My World Health Organization (WHO) and UN Humanitarian colleagues today undertook a mission to the facilities, where they witnessed extensive damage and displacement of civilians The attacks, according to the PRCS, killed at least five civilians, including a 5-day old infant. 14,000 people were sheltering at the hospital in the besieged southern #Gaza city of Khan Younis. Many of them have now left, and those remaining are extremely fearful for their safety and planning to leave a place they had turned to for refuge and protection. Hospitals, ambulances, health workers, and people seeking care must be protected, at all times, under international humanitarian law. Today’s bombardments are unconscionable. Gaza’s health system is already on its knees, with health and aid workers continuously stymied in their efforts to save lives due to the hostilities. I join international calls for an immediate ceasefire, including urgent action to ensure the accelerated and unimpeded flow of food, medical supplies, water and other essential items to millions of civilians forced to live in unspeakable conditions of hunger, disease spread, and lack of hygiene and sanitation. Gazans are still receiving only a fraction of the supplies they had access to before the war, just as only a fraction of Gazans in need of medical evacuation are being evacuated. This is unacceptable in light of the dire humanitarian catastrophe which has unfolded over three months. Indeed, WHO’s movements, particularly in northern Gaza and increasingly in the south, have been severely impeded by the ongoing violence inside Gaza. Our operations are further impeded when essential local partners, like the PRCS, are themselves needlessly impacted by the strikes. This on top of widespread deaths, suffering and decimation of homes, roads and other infrastructure across this tiny coastal strip of land. If the conditions for a cease-fire in hostilities have not been met by now, I do not know what it will take. WHO reiterates that health must never be a target during conflicts, and all effort must be taken to protect health facilities, health workers, and patients.
