Reza Pahlavi, for all intents and purposes, does not owe us anything. His family built Iran from zero. When I say zero, I mean zero. A weak, fragmented Qajar state, one in which women could not leave the house without a man. One in which Iranโ€™s internal affairs were completely controlled by outsiders. One in which foreign armies seized our lands to feed their troops while half our population died of famine. A country without an army, without national infrastructure, without sovereignty over its own resources. And I can go on, and on, and on. In return, we Iranians repaid their blood, sweat, and tears with one of the greatest treacheries imaginable in modern history. His grandfather, arguably one of the greatest men in Iranโ€™s history, his tomb was levelled to the ground. His father was forced to leave the country he loved more than anything in the world. One could say it was not his illness that killed him, but the knife we put in his back, the betrayal of a nation he had dedicated his life to. Reza Pahlaviโ€™s friends and family who remained in Iran were murdered, one by one, at the hands of the regime WE enabled. An entire generation around him was hunted, imprisoned, executed, or driven into exile. His sister and brother, unable to bear the weight of exile and the destruction of everything they had known, took their own lives. Reza Pahlavi has the money. He could have chosen a quiet life, a life of comfort and distance, far from the insults, the threats, the endless character assassination. Instead of spending more than four decades on this path, he could have lived for himself and his family, free of this burden. Instead, he chose responsibility. He chose to stand for the very people who betrayed his family and became the cause of so much suffering in his life. What does he ask in return? Nothing. No throne has been demanded. No position imposed. He has asked only for a national process in which the Iranian people themselves decide their future. He has anchored that path in clear principles, precisely to prevent Iran from falling once again into chaos, fragmentation, and revenge. Yet even for that, he is criticised by so-called โ€œIran expertโ€ podcasters who have never carried the weight of a nation on their shoulders, who say, โ€œHe does not want to lead,โ€ โ€œHe is not your guy.โ€ All while he and his family live under constant attacks, threats, and scrutiny on a daily basis. Despite all of that, his love for his people and his land overrides everything. He continues to fight for us. I want to say we have done nothing to deserve it, but the people of Iran have proven otherwise in these past weeks. They are no longer blinded by decades of propaganda. They are revisiting their history. They are correcting the lies they were raised with. They are openly calling his name in the streets, knowing the price that must be paid for it. They are awake to the mistakes of past generations, and they have reached out their hand to him. And he, despite everything, has taken that hand.

Stabbed, Slaughtered, and Left Bleeding for a Car Engine: A Sudanese Boyโ€™s Testimony Against the UAE-Backed Rapid Support Militia The testimony of a Sudanese boy and his father reveals one of the most horrific forms of violence inflicted on civilians in Sudan by the UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia. It is the account of a boy who was stabbed, had his throat cut, and was left bleeding through the night during a looting attack whose objective, according to his father, was to steal a car engine. The testimony was shared in an interview conducted by Ayman for Sudan, as part of his documentation of the stories of Sudanese civilians affected by the war. The boy says members of the militia stabbed him several times, until his intestines came out of his abdomen. They then began cutting him with a knife to check whether he was still alive. When they found that he still had some life in him, they ran the knife across his neck before leaving him on the ground between life and death. His survival itself became part of the horror. He remained lying in the open from night until morning, bleeding heavily and unable to breathe normally after the knife wound to his throat. In his testimony, the boy says: โ€œI was lying on the ground from 11 oโ€™clock until the morning. The ground was cold, and I was bleeding heavily. I could only breathe through my throat.โ€ Later, his father was told that the driver had been killed and that his son had been taken to Al-Awafi Hospital after being stabbed three times. When the father arrived at the hospital, he found a scene no father could ever forget: his son on the treatment bed, his abdomen open, his intestines outside his body, and the doctor trying to save his life. The boy could not speak normally. According to his father, his voice was coming from the wound in his throat, and he had to support his head with his hand because of the severity of the injury to his neck. Yet he opened his eyes and gestured to his father that he was still alive. The fatherโ€™s testimony adds another shocking detail to the brutality of the crime. The motive, according to his account, was to seize the carโ€™s engine. The boyโ€™s life, and the lives of those with him, meant nothing before the militiaโ€™s desire to loot a piece of a vehicle. The father says the objective was clear: โ€œThe objective was the engine of this car.โ€ This testimony opens a window onto a broader pattern of violations, humiliation, torture, looting, and killing that has followed the UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia across wide areas of Sudan. Behind every number in this war, there is a face. Behind every statistic, there is a family. Behind every cold phrase such as โ€œcivilian casualtiesโ€ or โ€œviolations,โ€ there is a story like Adamโ€™s: a boy stabbed until his intestines came out, his neck cut, left bleeding through the night, then forced to survive a cruelty no boy should ever know. Thousands of Sudanese families carry similar wounds, some visible on their bodies, others buried in memory. Villages, homes, markets, hospitals, and roads have all become scenes of terror. The pattern repeats again and again: civilians are attacked, property is looted, bodies are violated, and survivors are left to tell the world what happened to them. The testimony of Adam and his father should not pass as another painful clip in a long war. It is testimony against a militia that treats civilian life as worthless. It is a reminder that Sudanโ€™s suffering is not abstract. It has names, voices, wounds, fathers waiting in hospitals, and boys trying to breathe through torn throats. The world cannot continue to speak about Sudan in cold diplomatic language while such testimonies are being told. The UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia has left behind a long trail of testimonies demanding accountability, not silence. Adam survived, but his survival itself became testimony. His wounds speak for thousands who were tortured, slaughtered, displaced, or silenced forever. This is what Sudanese civilians are facing. This is what must be named. This is what must never become normal. #Sudan #RSFisTerroristOrganization #UAEKillsSudanesePeople #UAESponsorsTerrorism

A few days ago, I walked into Gwagwa not as a politician, not as a party leader, but as a broken Nigerian. I went with Dcn. Ken Pela, Hon. Constance, Mallam Ibrahim Abdulkarim and other committed members of the ADC to visit the family of Musa Abubakar, a man whose only crime was courage. A man who stood firm in Gwagwa Ward and refused to allow the mutilation of election results. A man who believed that the vote of the people is sacred. Today, Musa is no more. As I stepped into that compound, I was not prepared for what met us. The cries of his wife. The trembling voice of his father. The uncontrollable grief of his brother. The confused, shattered eyes of the children, children who do not yet understand why their father will never walk through that door again. There are moments in life when words fail. Yes, that day was one of them. His brother could barely stand. His father, a man who should be preparing to rest, is now preparing to bury his son. His wife, widowed not by sickness, not by accident, but by violence. By thuggery. By a system that continues to reward impunity. Musa Abubakar did not carry a weapon. He carried conviction. He did not fight for himself. He fought for democracy. He fought for the integrity of our local council elections. And for that, he was beaten to death by thugs aligned with the APC. This is not politics. This is not rivalry. This is murder. When citizens begin to die for defending election results at the ward level, then we must admit that something is fundamentally broken in our democracy. As I held his fatherโ€™s hands, I could not offer excuses. As I looked at his wife, I could not offer promises that would bring Musa back. As I touched the head of his child, I felt the weight of a nation that has failed its own. But I made a silent vow. Musa Abubakar will not be reduced to a statistic. He will not be forgotten as โ€œcollateral damageโ€ of local council elections. He will not be buried in silence. His blood is a question to all of us. How many more must die for votes to count? How many more families must be shattered before we say enough? This is the tragic consequence of a system where power is pursued without conscience. Where elections are treated as warfare. Where thugs are empowered, and citizens are punished for integrity. To the family of Musa Abubakar: your pain is our pain. Your tears are our tears. Your loss is not yours alone to bear. And to those who think violence can silence the will of the people, hear this clearly: intimidation may wound us, it may grieve us, but it will not break our resolve. If anything, Musaโ€™s sacrifice strengthens our commitment to justice, to electoral integrity, and to a Nigeria where no man dies for defending the truth. May his soul rest in peace. May God comfort his wife, strengthen his father, console his brother, and protect his children. And may justice, real justice, not political statements, prevail. We owe him that. Gavin Newsom is not a politician; he is a pathological con artist who has turned the governance of California into a personal criminal enterprise so brazen it makes the mob look like amateurs. He is a public menace... The greasy hair, the fake smile that never reaches his dead, soulless eyes, and that smug, voice dripping with condescension. He is the physical embodiment of everything rotting America from within. While he lectures the rest of the nation on morality from his ivory tower, he is actually running a racketeering ring that would make Al Capone blush. He is a parasite of the highest order, feeding on the misery of a state he has systematically destroyed, turning California into a third-world wasteland of tent cities, open-air drug markets, and violent crime, all while he sips million-dollar wine in his Napa Valley estate. He is a fraud, a liar, and a thief, and his entire career is a testament to the fact that the American Left is nothing more than a syndicate of criminals protecting their own. The depth of his corruption is staggering, even by the low standards of modern politics. His former chief of staff, Dana Williamson, a woman he placed in the second-highest position in the state, was recently exposed as a felon who siphoned hundreds of thousands of dollars from campaign funds for personal luxuries. She bought Chanel bags, took private jets, and installed luxury home improvements while claiming it was campaign business. And Newsom wants us to believe he knew nothing? That he was just too busy "governing" to notice his right-hand man running a million-dollar fraud ring out of his office? It is a lie. He either knew and participated, making him a co-conspirator, or he was so incompetent he allowed it to happen, making him unfit for any position of trust. There is no middle ground. He is either a criminal or a fool, and given his track record, he is likely both. He is a man who has built a career on the backs of the vulnerable, using their suffering as a backdrop for his own enrichment. But the rot goes deeper than just his staff; it is embedded in his very DNA and extends directly to his household. Newsom has weaponized his position as Governor to create a pay-to-play scheme that is nothing short of treasonous. Through a loophole known as "behested payments," he has funneled millions of dollars from special interests directly to non-profits run by his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. We are talking about millions from casino operators, utility monopolies, and healthcare giants who are simultaneously lobbying his office for favors. It is a classic extortion racket: give money to the First Family or expect nothing but hostility from the state. They call it charity; it is bribery, plain and simple. They call it philanthropy; it is a laundering scheme designed to hide the fact that he is selling the state of California to the highest bidder. He is a pimp for special interests, selling out the people he swore to protect for a handful of silver. His entire administration is a hive of scum and villainy, a testament to his belief that the law does not apply to him. He appointed Tom Girardi, a known embeeler and predator of the vulnerable, to his judicial selection committee. He placed Melahat Rafiei, a woman convicted of attempting to bribe public officials, on a state board. These are not mistakes; they are features of his regime. He rewards loyalty with public office and punishes dissent with the full force of the state. He is a man who has no regard for the rule of law, no respect for the people of California, and no shame in his relentless pursuit of power and wealth. He is a monster who has destroyed a once-great state, turning it into a nightmare of crime, poverty, and despair, all while he lives like a king. He is the enemy of the people, a traitor to his oath, and a danger to our society. The evidence is overwhelming, the pattern is clear, and the time for accountability is now. Federal investigators are closing in, subpoenas have been served, and the walls of his criminal empire are crumbling. He is scrambling, hiring high-priced lawyers and issuing denials, but the truth is out. He is a fraud, and his entire career is a lie. He is a man who has stolen from the poor to give to the rich, who has sacrificed the safety of children for political gain, and who has betrayed the trust of every single person who ever voted for him. He is a disgrace to humanity, a blight on our nation, and a symbol of everything that is wrong with the modern world. He must be stopped, he must be prosecuted, and he must be put behind bars where he belongs. Let us be clear: Gavin Newsom is not a public servant. He is a public menace. He is a man who has used his position to enrich himself and his family at the expense of the people he was elected to serve. He is a criminal who has evaded justice for too long, but his time is up. The people of California deserve better. The people of America deserve better. We must demand his immediate resignation, his full prosecution, and his permanent removal from public life. He is a cancer on our society, and we must cut him out before he spreads his disease any further. He is a liar, a thief, and a traitor, and he must be held accountable for his crimes. The world is watching. The era of Gavin Newsom is over, and good riddance to him. He is a reminder of what happens when we allow evil to go unchecked, and we must never let it happen again.

Hama, now, a scene that defies reason and shocks the human conscience. The burial of a citizen from the respected Alawite community was deliberately denied, in a blatant violation of basic human rights. Even the right to a final farewell was stripped away, as hatred pursued the body beyond death. This was not an isolated incident or a local dispute, but systematic humiliation and deliberate intimidation. When burial is denied, this constitutes a clear crime against humanity, with no room for justification. Silence in the face of such crimes is not neutrality, it is complicity.

๐Ÿ’” MINNESOTA ICE SHOOTING DEVELOPMENT ๐Ÿ’” "AFTER LOSS, A GRANDFATHER STEPS FORWARD" By Maureen Steele with American Made Foundation When tragedy strikes a child twice, first through the loss of a father, then through the violent death of their mother, the question that follows is not ideological. It is elemental. Who will raise this child? For six-year-old Emerson, that question now rests at the feet of his grandfather, Tim Macklin, a Tennessee man whose life story is defined less by doctrine than by deeds. Two years ago, Emersonโ€™s father, Timmy Ray Macklin Jr., died unexpectedly. While early public accounts described the death as suicide, his father disputes that characterization and maintains that his son did not take his own life, a point he says can be researched independently and remains unresolved in his mind. What is undisputed is the result: a young boy lost his father before he was old enough to understand what death means. I n the aftermath, Emerson remained with his mother, Renee Good. She had separated from Timmy Jr. prior to his death and entered a same sex relationship with another woman, Rebecca. According to Macklin, Renee took Emerson with her at that time, and the child lived with the couple for a period following his fatherโ€™s death. Macklin does not describe either woman as cruel. He repeatedly acknowledges their kindness toward his grandson and expresses love for them both. But he does describe a growing sense of spiritual and moral distance, one that troubled him deeply as a grandfather who had already buried a son and feared losing his grandson in quieter ways. Then, in Minnesota, Renee Good was shot and killed during an encounter involving federal agents. Emerson was not present at the scene; he was at school that day. But in a single moment, the child lost his second parent. What followed was not a custody battle launched by lawyers or publicists. It was a grandfather asking, almost instinctively, for his grandson. โ€œI need to get my grandchild,โ€ Macklin recalls telling authorities when he first learned of the shooting. โ€œHe has nobody.โ€ That statement was technically incorrect, Rebecca was still alive, but it reveals the urgency of a man who has spent years living in a posture of responsibility rather than entitlement. Macklin does not present himself as perfect. He speaks openly about a past marked by addiction, crime, and near-death experiences. He describes a dramatic religious conversion decades ago and a life since shaped by service rather than accumulation. Today, he and his family operate what amounts to an informal, faith-based refuge: housing homeless adults, taking in young people who have aged out of foster care, feeding the hungry, providing transportation, structure, and accountability. All this, without grants, government funding, or institutional backing. By his account, roughly twenty people currently live under roofs he helps maintain. Crucially, Macklin distinguishes carefully between those residences and his own home, where children live. He emphasizes safeguards, separation, and supervision, details that matter if the courts ever weigh the suitability of his household. His request is not framed as punishment for others or moral condemnation. It is framed as continuity. Emerson has blood family. He has grandparents, extended kin, siblings, and a stable home anchored by people who already raise children, run businesses, attend church, and live visibly accountable lives. Macklinโ€™s argument is not that others are evil, but that blood, history, and demonstrated care still matter when deciding where a child belongs after loss. โ€œI want my grandchild raised with family,โ€ he says plainly. โ€œAnd I want him safe.โ€ There is no court order yet. No formal petition filed. Only a man who has already buried one generation asking not to lose another. In cases like this, modern systems often default to the most recent adult relationship rather than the deepest familial bond. But Emersonโ€™s story raises a harder question, one that cannot be answered by ideology or politics: When a child has lost both parents, should the first call be to strangers of circumstance, or to the people who have spent their lives proving they will show up? For Tim Macklin, the answer is not theoretical. It is the work of his life. cc:MaryFlynnONeill First Lady Melania Trump

You Might Call Me a Dumb Jew, But I Know A BUNCH of Stuff About You Pepe Le Ewwww Dan Bilzerian: The first thing to know about Danny Boy is that heโ€™s actually a Silver Spoon Trust Fund Daddyโ€™s Boy. ALL OF DANโ€™S MONEY COMES FROM A TRUST HIS FATHER SET UP FOR HIM! So who is his father? A crook who was sentenced to four years in prison for securities fraud in 1989 (serving 13 months). In other words, Dan is as moral as his father, which is to sayโ€ฆ NOT AT ALL. Quick funny facts break: 1) He had two heart attacks by the age of 32 due to too much โ€œviagra and cocaine.โ€ Another way of looking at that is, Dan Bilzerian is a limp dick by his own confession. 2) He took steroids while failing to be a Navy SEAL, then threw ACTUAL SEALS under the bus by saying a third of SEALS are on steroids 3) He complains about dual citizenship and dual loyalty while a dual citizenship himself and registered in the Armenian Army in 2017 4) Heโ€™s lost roughly $150 million in his life 5) Heโ€™s the same height as Ben Shapiro (the only way theyโ€™re equal) 6) He had to pay women hundreds of thousands of dollars to look like they enjoyed his company This epic loser who answers the question, โ€œwhat would a human look like if a chode gained sentience and grew a Mohawk,โ€ was a trouble maker who may or may not have ever graduated high school (youโ€™re shocked I know). He then enlisted in 1999 before leaving in 2003. Now, if you understand how time works, youโ€™d wonder what his service record looks like given he was in prior to 9/11 and left two years AFTER 9/11. Most notably no overseas deployments. But why? Well, Danny Boy fashioned himself a SEAL, but failed his first attempt due to leg injuries. Nothing to scoff at there, buuuuuuuutโ€ฆ It was the second time he failed to become a SEAL that is most interesting. He either did one of the following three things or all three: 1) Fell asleep on watch and blamed it on others, including blaming them for not lying on his behalf to save him 2) Had a range incident 3) Had an incident of insubordination What we DO KNOW is that Danny Boy Stole Valor by claiming on multiple occasions that he completed BUD/S. Which leads us to his time on Lone Survivor, the incredible story of Marcus Luttrell, Michael Murphy and Operation RedWing. Bilzerian spent a million dollars (of his trust fund money) literally buying his way into the movie and demanding he get a certain allotment of screen time and lines. He was such an insubordinate menace the film directors (thank G-d) limited his time on screen as much as possible. (Unfortunately, you can still see the hedgehog with alopecia if you know where to look). Literally the only way Dan Bilzerian could get honored for his service is as to pay for it, and even then he sucked so much he didnโ€™t. And now we have to talk about Route 91/The Las Vegas Shooting Massacre. Roid Monster McGee tried to get a police officer on the scene to give him a gun. The officer did not oblige, and instead of helping or assisting others, Bougie Bilge decided to film himself. His actions were so deplorable Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer said: This is what kills me about people like you. Always playing 'operator dress up' and so so tough when the cameras are on. A woman just got shot in the head and you are running away filming; that's not what operators do. Finally, going back to the fraud family that is the Bilzerians: The only reason that Bilzerian isnโ€™t under investigation right now for fraud is because his company Ignite was actually his fatherโ€™s, who is now being investigated for frauding the U.S. i.e., Danny Boy was so incompetent as a CEO it was a fake listing so his father could (allegedly) commit more crime. None of this even goes into his abusing women, getting kicked out of nightclubs, nor his antisemitism and love of anti-American forces. So who is Danny Boy Bilzerian? A lying loser. Nothing more. Shabbat Shalom!!!

Through the act of translating and archiving firsthand accounts, I aim to create a recordโ€”a testament to the trials endured by the Amhara people, a record that cannot be erased or ignored. No longer can the world claim ignorance or feign innocence when confronted with the stark reality of systemic genocide and persecution against the Amhara people. By tagging every major institution, I compel those in positions of power and influence to confront their complicity in the face of such egregious violations of human rights. Your silence is not only a betrayal of the Amhara people but a stain on the conscience of humanity itself. Imagine a scene where desperation meets brutality, where a man, his stomach hollow with hunger, pleads for mercy, not for riches or privilege, but for sustenance, for the basic right to nourish his body and soul. This is the grim reality captured in the footage I presentโ€”a poignant portrayal of a daily struggle for survival amidst a backdrop of hostility and persecution. In the video, an Amhara man, driven by the gnawing pangs of hunger, implores Oromo youths for reprieve, his voice trembling with exhaustion and despair. Yet, instead of compassion, he is met with mockery and torment, his pleas falling on deaf ears. As he weeps, vulnerable and defenseless, the interrogations continue, probing his very existence, his crime merely being his ethnic Amhara identity and his hunger. "Why did you come here?" they demand, oblivious to his plight, indifferent to his suffering. And in his broken voice, he utters a simple truthโ€”he came in search of sustenance, driven by the primal instinct to survive. But his words are lost in the cacophony of cruelty, drowned out by the deafening silence of those who should protect and uphold the sanctity of life. The video abruptly ends, leaving behind a void of uncertainty, a void filled with apprehension and dread. What fate befell the man in the aftermath of his plea? Was he granted mercy ? No he was condemned to further torment. The answer remains shrouded in darkness, a darkness that encapsulates the plight of the Amhara peopleโ€”a darkness that demands illumination and action. To the leaders of international institutions, I extend a solemn admonitionโ€”a warning tinged with the weight of history. You may avert your gaze, feign ignorance, or turn a deaf ear, but you cannot plead innocence when confronted with the stark reality of systemic Amhara genocide and persecution. Your silence is complicity, your inaction a betrayal of humanity itself. For in the end, it is not only the Amhara people who suffer but the very essence of our shared humanity that is at stake. In a world filled with expectations of perfection, the story of Poundcake and Milkshake emerges as a gentle yet profound reminder: sometimes, the only thing a living being needs is not pity, but simply a chance to be loved in the right way. These two deaf dogs not only found their forever home, but also offered a valuable lesson about compassion and the extraordinary power of unconditional acceptance. James Coburn had once been firmly against having a dog. He and his wife, Leah, lived an active life, enjoying exploring the ocean, paddleboarding, and travelling from place to place. He worried that having a dog would tie them down and prevent them from enjoying their freedom. Then, one night, an image of Poundcake appeared on an adoption website. He was only eight months old, a deaf male dog from Texas who was waiting at a rescue shelter in Rhode Island. His tail had once been broken, and he had become accustomed to being abandoned. James submitted an application immediately, before he had even had a chance to tell his wife. He could not bear the thought that a small creature who could never understand where he was or where he would go next might have to keep facing uncertainty simply because he could not hear the sounds of the world. Poundcake came home, and everything changed. His family taught him to communicate through sign language. He became confident and happy, bringing an unexpected sense of joy into their lives. But then his close friend Dunkin moved away. Poundcake would sit by the window for hours, looking sad. At the dog park, he was often left behind because he could not hear the other dogs running off. Loneliness gradually began to find its way into his life. His family realised that Poundcake needed a companion who could understand the way he played and the way he experienced the world in silence. They decided to drive through the night for nearly 800 kilometres to bring Milkshake home. This female American Pit Bull had also been deaf since birth and had spent three long years waiting within the rescue system. She had once been placed in a programme working with inmates but was not considered a good fit. After that, she moved from one shelter and foster home to another. No one wanted to adopt her because she was โ€œdifferentโ€. When Milkshake entered her new home, she and Poundcake became friends almost immediately. They played together, slept beside each other, and did everything together. The only small moments of friction came when Milkshake wanted to keep playing while Poundcake wanted to rest. Both dogs learned to communicate with their owners through signs and gradually became an inseparable part of the family. This story is not simply about two dogs. It reveals a painful truth: living beings with differences, whether they are deaf, blind, elderly, or members of breeds burdened by prejudice, are often overlooked or even abandoned simply because they do not fit the image of โ€œperfectionโ€ that many people expect. James once admitted that he was afraid of the responsibility and worried that he would not be capable of being a good dog owner. But Poundcake and Milkshake proved otherwise. They did not merely adapt to their new life; they encouraged their family to become more active, spend more time outdoors, and love more deeply. James and Leahโ€™s acceptance transformed what others might have considered โ€œflawsโ€ into gifts. The two deaf dogs did not need words to express their affection. They used their eyes, gentle touches, and unwavering loyalty. Compassion here is not a fleeting feeling of pity. It is a conscious choice: seeing beyond differences and still opening your arms. The power of acceptance lies in the fact that it can heal both sides. Poundcake and Milkshake had grown accustomed to being abandoned, but now they knew what it meant to be loved. James had once believed he could never become a good dog owner, yet now he calls them his very soul. Their story reaches far beyond that little home. It reminds us how many people and living beings in society may still be waiting for a similar opportunity not to become perfect, but simply to live fully as they are. Poundcake and Milkshake only needed one chance. And when that chance was given at the right time and in the right way, it created a family filled with quiet laughter and a love that needed no words. Perhaps the greatest lesson is this: difference should never be a reason to turn someone away. Sometimes, all it takes is opening our hearts a little wider, and we may receive far more than we ever imagined ๐Ÿ’—โœจ

Confidence Pro Max: Remembering a Brother, a Filmmaker, and a Warrior Nickโ€™s untimely death is a devastating blow to his family, friends, and Kenya as a whole. We didnโ€™t see it coming, even after he was diagnosed in October 2025 with hypocellular myelodysplastic syndrome (h-MDS), a rare bone marrow disorder. When we went to see him in the hospital, he possessed such positive energy, he was convinced that he would beat this. He was Rambo a "one-man army" and we all believed he could beat it, too. He never looked defeated, or depressed, even as he began to lose weight. When he shaved his head in November, he sent me a photo and asked me to call him "Michael Jordan," after the Chicago Bulls legend whose signature look was a bald head. Even in sickness, he found a reason to smile. I met Nick in 2015, before he became a filmmaker. I remember him sitting in my office wearing a suit, asking for my support to go study filmmaking in Italy. After completing his course in Italy, his first major project upon his return was the award-winning documentary Softie, directed by Sam Soko. The film followed my journey as I ran for political office during the 2017 elections, and Nick was the one behind the drone shots. We became friends, and I enjoyed a front-row seat watching as he went on to document important stories. One of my favourites was his powerful 2021 BBC Africa Eye documentary, "Street Dreams." He directed and filmed a group of seven homeless young men in Nairobi who formed the "Street Family Dance Crew." He embedded with them to capture their raw determination to escape poverty, police harassment, and family issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a story that feels like a distant world today; those dancers used to perform outside nightclubs in the CBD, but the city has since become a ghost town. Many bars closed down and replaced by restaurants that shut their doors by 9:00 PM. Itโ€™s a story that captured a time in Nairobi that is long gone. In 2024, Nick and I united as he covered the protests. While I participated in the demonstrations, he worked on an unnamed film and we often discussed safety tips. I was a storyteller before I was an activist, so I knew a thing or two about staying safe in the streets while documenting potentially dangerous stories. When Nick was falsely arrested in May 2025, for allegedly producing the BBC documentary, Blood Parliament - two of the three people arrested with him were working with me. I received a call shortly after their arrest and faced the difficult task of calling my colleagues' parents to deliver the news. The arrest was hostile; they were forced to hand over their phones and passwords, and when their equipment was finally returned, it was infected with spyware. What remains hidden from the public eye after an arrest are the cold cells, the degrading police interrogations, the court arraignments, the stares, and the judgment from both friends and strangers. Sometimes even the loss of clients who donโ€™t want to be associated with โ€œenemies of the state.โ€ On a personal level, the trauma of such an arrest can lead to depression, alcoholism, or insomnia. In Nickโ€™s case, his body crumbled, a hidden disease manifested, and before we could truly understand what it was, it stole him from us. His passing is an indictment of our failed healthcare system. Good healthcare is not free. We do not have enough blood in our blood banks and patients must organize their own donors in both public and private hospitals. Furthermore, specialized medical care is so expensive and out of reach that his family and friends were in the middle of fundraising for a life-saving bone marrow transplant in India. I am glad that he was able to produce his latest work, The People Shall, last year. The documentary is a first-hand eyewitness account of the events of June 25th, 2024, when a new republic was born. In his honour, and in honour of the hundreds of thousands suffering due to poor healthcare in this country, may we take our power back. Nick was good people. He had a positive attitude toward life and brought love and laughter into every room he entered. He could lift heavier weights at the gym than people much older and bigger than him. I had the chance to lift weights with him and his co-accused friends; he was so confident that he was the only one lifting bare-chested. That was 'confidence pro-max,' and he beat us in lifting heavier weights and doing more sets. In September 2025, I woke up early to ensure my son was ready to go drone filming with Nick. My son had recently acquired his drone pilot license, and Nick had taken him under his wing as he worked on a new film - a project he was looking forward to finishing. He surprised us all with his early exit on January 7th, but we thank God we had the chance to spend time with him. As we grieve Nickโ€™s death, may his story inspire you to leave that boring job, find your purpose, and live a life that leaves an impact. I am so grateful for Nickโ€™s life. May God comfort his family and friends and give them strength. He will be dearly missed.

Gladys Wanga, with all due respect, you do not qualify to advise President Uhuru Kenyatta a man who led this country with dignity, order, and respect for the rule of law. We know you and your type very well political orphans, desperately clinging to relevance as 2027 approaches. You stand on shaky ground, not because the people have changed, but because you chose the path of betrayal, hypocrisy, and blind loyalty to power instead of truth. This nation is exhausted. Kenyans are tired of William Ruto tired of the lies, the arrogance, the corruption, and the pain that his regime has inflicted on ordinary citizens. No propaganda can erase hunger. No speech can silence poverty. No sermon can wash away injustice. What this country needs is not noise, not intimidation, but a listening President a leader who feels the pain of the people, not one who dines with oligarchs while citizens sleep hungry. You said our democracy is fragile? No, Governor our democracy is strong because it belongs to the people, not to the state. You and others in power are the ones weakening it through fear, manipulation, and betrayal. That is the same strategy you used to weaken Raila Odinga convincing him to chase positions and handshakes instead of listening to the cries of his people. You isolated him from his base and turned his mission into a personal ambition. Thatโ€™s not politics thatโ€™s sabotage. Uhuru Kenyatta, unlike most of you, is a believer in constitutionalism, democracy, and truth. He knows Ruto better than anyone Ruto was his deputy for 10 long years. He warned us, and we ignored him. Today, as a nation drowning in economic misery and insecurity, we realize he was right. And now we seek his forgiveness because we failed to listen when he tried to save this country from a man driven by greed and vengeance. Gladys Wanga, let me remind you of Chris Msando. Do you remember how he died? Do you remember who was blamed, and how Raila Odinga was told the truth but chose silence for the sake of peace? Raila entered a so-called Broad-Based Government knowing very well the blood of his loyal soldiers cried for justice and yet he bowed to the same system that destroyed them. So donโ€™t lecture us about Uhuru Kenyatta. Donโ€™t tell us heโ€™s the only former president alive when you and your circle are the very reason Raila Odingaโ€™s political soul was killed. His dream of liberating this nation was suffocated by greed, bad advice, and selfish interests. You can defend Ruto all you want but understand this clearly: the people are watching, and in 2027, they will speak loudly. Power returns to the people, and when that time comes, no position, no connection, and no state protection will save anyone who betrayed their trust. The days of political puppetry are ending. Kenya is rising and truth will have the final word.

I am posting this video not to further bring pain and ridicule to the President and his family, but rather as a testament of the Ilocanoโ€™s enduring belief on the Marcos legacy. No matter the challenges and betrayal inflicted, even by one family member, we will stay the course. The accusations thrown by Senator Imee Marcos against President Ferdinand Marcos cut deep because they twist an old chapter of family pain into a weapon for present politics. After EDSA 1, he was a young man drowning in anger, confusion, and the humiliation of seeing his father dragged down and his family scattered. Anyone with a heart would understand the emotional weight he carried then. But to resurrect that vulnerable period and convert it into claims of addiction today is cruel, dishonest, and done with full political intent. Everything about his life now contradicts that lieโ€”his calm judgment, his measured decisions, his disciplined leadership under pressure. These are the habits of a steady commander, not a man lost to substances. His conduct itself is the proof that the allegations are nothing more than a desperate attempt to wound him where he once hurt most. And while she slings old shadows, the President has delivered real light to the nation. Under his leadership, inflation dropped sharply, giving families stability denied to them for years. Farmers were finally freed from decades of debt. Classrooms rose, children returned to school, health facilities expanded, and foreign investors came back with confidence. Jobs grew. Hope returned. He strengthened our alliances and defended the West Philippine Sea with firmness free of theatrics. These gains did not come from chaos, but rather from discipline, clarity, and hard work. They came from a man who knows the weight of the nation and carries it with calm strength. His achievements are the loudest, clearest answer to every lie thrown his way. But the deepest pain was yet to be inflicted; not from his enemies, but from his own blood. Nothing is more shamefulโ€”nothing more unforgivableโ€”than the betrayal committed by his own sister. Imee did not simply criticize him; she walked onto a stage beside the Dutertes and their circle, the very clan that tried for years to destroy her brotherโ€™s credibility, poison the public against him, and destabilise his government. She borrowed their poison and spat it back at her own blood infront of a massive crowd cheering her. It was not truth-telling, not concernโ€”it was political hunger. She turned her back not only on her brother but on the Ilocano people who carried the Marcos name through fire and exile, through decades of ridicule and hardship, and who believed that unity within the family was sacred. By siding with the Dutertes, she shattered that sacred trust in front of the whole nation. And now she must face the coldest wrath of the Northโ€”not through ruin or violence, but through something far more devastating to an Ilocano soul: SILENCE. Ilocanos do not rage when betrayed. We do not riot. We close our doors. We turn our backs. We remove a name from our homes, from our gatherings, from our stories, from the memory of our children. We do not curseโ€”we simply stop acknowledging the existence of the one who broke faith. That is the fate that now awaits Imee Marcos. She may still sit in the Senate. She may still speak on stages. But in the North, where loyalty is life, she will be a ghost. No festive welcome. No warm embrace. No belonging. Only doors shut gently, permanently, without explanation. She chose ambition over blood, treachery over loyalty, and the Dutertes over her own brother. And for that choice, the Ilocanos will shut their doors on her forever. #ForeverLoyalist
