my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. It’s got a little bit of light in it. Don’t forget to put your feet in the grass … Mind

Dreams do come true but here’s the real truth most people don’t talk about: What are you willing to give up to make your dreams come true? I grew up in the projects where dreams didn’t feel real. Life was about surviving, not dreaming. Then one day everything changed when a teacher and a coach both told me, “You can become whatever you want if you’re willing to be different.” That moment shifted my mindset forever. 🐻: a [life] tip for someone turning 20? well… this is more of a lifelong tip than specifically for your 20s, but you have to life doing all the things you want! of course we can’t always be only doing the things that we want, but whenever possible, try turning the things you do into what you wanna do or doing the things that are actually aligned with what you like. i think it’d be good to fill in your life with the things you wanna do as much as possible 🐻: would life become more enjoyable once i turn 30? hmm, nope! [now that i think about it,] it wasn’t turning 30 that was important for me. i just happened to find my turning point and felt better in my 30s, but if it’s not the case for you, i think life turns more enjoyable the moment you make up your mind and determination. though it just sounds like a mere mindset difference, isn’t that the hardest part? it’s definitely not easy 🐻: “can you tell me that i’m doing well?”—you’re doing well! but i don’t think me telling you those words is what’s important because won’t it truly be more meaningful if it’s you who lives believing in your own self? i’ve also come to live that way now, though i know that’s something really hard to do… but still, i realised that’s the best way. making even a slight shift to our mindset’s so hard, isn’t it? 🐻: “what should i do if i don’t have confidence?”—keep doing it until you have that confidence or try your best to put aside all the reasons you’re unconfident. you’ll surely gain confidence that way, though of course, support from the people around you helps with confidence boost too. for example, i initially started believing that i might actually be better than how i viewed myself because my days believe in me, but in the long run, i have to be the one building my own confidence up. i think it’s most important that you recognise and validate your own self in the end! 🐻: “i’m afraid of the future”—you can be. i think i’ve said this before, but nothing changes even if we’re afraid. if you’re afraid of something that’s inevitably gonna happen, contemplating about it allows for good preemptive measures instead, but for all those minor worries? i think it’s better to take action after those things do happen, since i heard 90% of the things we worry about won’t actually happen. it’ll be okay, i believe

According to Lord Buddha’s teachings, it’s called staying with your breath. Whatever you’re doing, do not worry about things that haven’t happened yet since it might not happen at all. I hope you stay mindful in everything you do, be it studies, work, love and the way you live your life. I’ll always root for you from here. It’s not only us who experience unhappiness, out of millions people living in this world, I believe that there’re people who are in the same situation like us but everyone needs to keep moving. My son, One day, when you're older, you will come across this post and this video of the two of us walking up into the mountains. I hope you watch it more than once. We always begin the same way. You go bounding off ahead, certain the whole mountain belongs to you, and for a little while it does. Then the path gets steep. The air gets thinner and your legs get tired. You stop, you turn, and you look back at me and say: Dad, is the view really worth it? I will tell you a secret. I ask myself the same question. I'm climbing my own mountains you can't see yet, fighting things I hope you never have to fight, and some days the weight of it all feels like more than I can carry. Mom and I both put on a brave face, but it isn't always brave underneath. There are mornings I feel I am carrying the whole mountain rather than walking up it. But that's not a flaw in you or me, it just is what the journey is. You will meet climbs that burn your legs, there will be days when every step asks more than you think you have, and there will be MANY MANY times when turning back seems the only sensible thing thing to do ...don't be ashamed of wanting to. Everyone wants to turn back. But WANTING to turn back, and not doing it... well my son, that is the stuff strength is made of. There will be days when everything feels uphill. When the world feels unfair, and you’ll wonder why it has to be so hard. The summit will never stoop to meet you and the path cannot be talked into being shorter. What changes... what is changing in you even now while you're reading this, and especially on days that feel like nothing but insane amount of work and heartache... ...is YOU. You are the thing that grows. The world stays gloriously, stubbornly large, and you rise to meet it. So climb. Not because it is easy, but because you were made for the climbing. And when at last you stand in the high place with the wind in your face and the whole green country spread beneath you, you will understand something that cannot be told to a man but only shown to him: that every aching step was a kind of payment, and the view was the thing it had been buying all along. It will not feel like a reward. It will feel like coming home to a country you have never been to, and somehow always missed. I will be there. Lower on the trail by then, most likely. Slower. Catching my breath against a stone. I was the one who sitting down there watching. I never had the chance to stand on stage or perform. This is probably the very first time that I get to perform a solo stage and truly do something I really want to do. I wanted to express my true feelings to everyone, and I never thought that I would have a day like this-a day where so many people would come to see me like this. Honestly, in the past, if just 10 people came to see me, I was already happy. Even if there were only one person left, I would still be very, very happy. So I never thought there would be a day where the hall is completely filled with people coming to see us, and where we receive love from so many different countries. I want to thank everyone so, so much for loving the work that both of us create. And we’ve become a safe zone for all of you.🥰 Let me stop here for now. If there’s anything more, I’ll continue later. Why is it that some people grow more spiritually than others? I think the answer is simple: they’re intentional about it. Spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. It takes deliberate effort and consistent choices to draw closer to God. Now that 2025 is officially here, let’s skip the usual New Year’s resolutions that are quickly forgotten and make a New Year commitment to Christ instead. Let’s decide to grow in our faith and live out the Christian life the way it’s meant to be lived. Here are a few ways to start: • Be intentional about prayer: Set aside time every day to talk to God. Prayer is where the power is, and it’s how we stay connected to Him. • Stay rooted in God’s Word: Open your Bible daily. It’s God’s love letter to you, filled with wisdom, guidance, and encouragement. • Plug into Church: Don’t go it alone. Join a small group or find a church where you can be supported and challenged in your walk with Jesus. Needless to say, we would love to have you at our Church, Harvest! • Serve others: Jesus came to serve, and He calls us to do the same. Look for opportunities to show His love in practical ways. So, let’s make 2025 the year we go deeper in our faith. Let’s be intentional about growing spiritually. Let it start with you, and let it start with me. Together, we can make this a year of spiritual renewal and see God do amazing things in and through our lives. #RoadtoSuccess Weibo Update To My Students, Last year, I began teaching at Hongjing No. 8 High School. As I stood at the entrance of the equipment room for the very first time, I never imagined that one day I would become so deeply involved in someone else’s journey through life. At that time, I was trapped in the darkest period of my own life. I realized that the hardest enemy to overcome was never someone else—it was the struggles within my own heart. Like everyone else, I hoped to witness the rise of an underdog who could overcome every obstacle. I also hoped to find a reason to keep moving forward through your stories. As time went by, I came to realize that the hardest part of life is not finding the courage to begin a journey, but having the determination to keep going until the very end. The greatest pain is not enduring after a fall, but choosing the path that stays true to your conscience after questioning yourself over and over again. That was when I understood that education is never simply about a teacher guiding students. It is about teachers and students helping one another, encouraging one another, and growing together. The Olympic spirit tells us to be Faster, Higher, Stronger. But you taught me something even more meaningful—that as our bodies are tested, our will is challenged, and our hearts endure suffering, the human spirit becomes broader and stronger. Adults often say that as you grow up, the road ahead will become wider. Yet the truth is that anxiety, confusion, pain, hesitation, life’s greatest hardships, and the constant struggle between right and wrong are all narrow paths that no one can truly avoid. Real life is bitter and long. Even if you persevere until the very end, things may not always turn out the way you hoped. So if one day you feel the need to run away for a while, that’s okay. But what I have always hoped for is that you will have freedom of thought and an independent spirit. Learn how to live, make peace with yourselves, discover what you truly love, and have the courage to pursue it. May you always have the courage to fight against the cowardice within human nature. May that courage help you find a glimmer of hope in the midst of despair, give you the strength to understand yourselves, and eventually become the person you have always dreamed of being. And more than anything, I hope that I, too, can become the person I have always hoped to be. Perhaps you no longer need to read these words now. Most of you guys don't know that I grew up as a Christian missionary kid, with both of my parents in full-time ministry. What this meant is that I grew up seeing my parents imperfectly strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus. There were times when a homeless lady slept on our couch downstairs and a homeless man in a tent in our backyard. Other times when our side street was full of tables and people from the neighborhood as we fed the hungry. Constantly because I was homeschooled, school would be interrupted to help someone move something or donate stuff to the ministry thrift store. As a kid I often thought about how much more my parents could do if they had more money. That's where my desire to learn how to make money started because I wanted to be able to help their ministry. Somewhere along this journey I started to lose the plot and started to care more about money than God, which is a horrible place to get to. This morning while I was praying and thanking God for afflicting me, because truly before I was afflicted I went astray but now I love His law. A song that I wrote, I believe when I was around nine or ten years old, came back to my mind and truly it blows me away that my nine-year-old self had more wisdom at times than my late twenties self and my thirty-one-year-old self. And the reason for that is simple. All wisdom comes from God and man's wisdom is nothing compared to his, which means that if God wants to give a nine-year-old some wisdom, it can be greater than that of a PhD professor whose wisdom comes only from man. This is the song I wrote as a little boy. Verse 1: How crazy are everyday worries! How crazy the things that we dread! Oh how pointless the things that we long for! Oh how pointless the lives that we live! Chorus: How crazy, how crazy How pointless, how pointless can we live? Verse 2: We know who we should long for. We know who we should praise. We know who we should obey. But it's easier said than done. I remember my parents telling me that it was pretty good but no one would want to sing it because the chorus was too depressing and people want to be uplifted. So from then on I would just sing it to myself because I didn't think it was depressing because it reminded me about what mattered. It reminded me that everything the world told me mattered didn't. Sometimes I would use the song to pray, too, before I went to bed or after I woke up. Jesus Christ is the one that we should long for. He's the one that we should praise, and he is the one that we must obey. For Jesus says, "If you love me you will do what I command." Maybe you're reading this, extremely skeptical of God or any religion. I just would ask you: what's going to be the end of everything you're pursuing now? Is your life not like a breath, here today and gone tomorrow? Is all of the money that you're gathering not simply going to be left to someone else for you're not going to be able to take any of it with you? Will not all of your memories that you cherish so dearly be lost with you when you die? Is not the fruit of all that you're pursuing meaningless if there is no God for the end of the universe is cold, dark, and lifeless and not even the generations between now and lifelessness will remember you? If there was no God there would be nothing. Just like if you live like there is no God, all of your pursuits will come to nothing. Yet "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life." You see we don't have a God of this universe who is impersonal who doesn't care for us. No he desires a relationship with us and the way that we know that is because he literally limited himself and came to earth as a man to show us the way to eternal life. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." When Jesus truly becomes the one you treasure above all else and when you look at Him, the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, He who dwells in unapproachable light, who no man has ever seen, and to whom belongs glory and eternal dominion. When you look at that and your heart becomes set upon nothing but His kingdom, He makes your path straight. He gives you work to do that will store up fruit in eternity that already today can earn you wages that will be everlasting. He will make our lives on this Earth not meaningless but full of far more meaning than we can even grasp, comprehend, or imagine. Lord, I just lift up every single reader of this post and ask that You would open their eyes, God, by the power of Your Spirit. That You would soften their hearts, Lord, and give them understanding by the fullness of Your power, Lord, because by human wisdom Your Kingdom cannot be grasped. So Lord, call them by Your Spirit that they may answer You, that they may repent and that they may live starting today for eternal life. Amen.

Unsurprisingly Labor has rolled out the fear campaign around keeping your wages. Never tried to get between the Labor Party and their rivers of gold from superannuation. No one does fear like the Labor party so if you’re going to threaten their grifting you need to come prepared. One Nation have left themselves wide open to Labor’s fear campaign by not having a clear policy alternative to compulsory superannuation. Labor are claiming house prices will rise if people can access their super. Whilst this may be a possibly it doesn’t have to occur if the right guardrails are put in. The easiest way to solve this issue is by lifting the minimum deposit required to buy a house. By doing this home buyers will end up with greater equity rather than more debt. Currently people can buy a house with a 5% deposit, meaning you only need $50,000 to buy a million dollar house. If the minimum deposit was increased to 10% you would need $100,000 to buy the same house. The increased equity can come from superannuation rather than taking on more debt. Minimum deposits used to be a lot higher to stop people from over leveraging into housing. Unfortunately lending standards were relaxed which has resulted in many people being unable to pay off their mortgage by the time they are retired. This of course ensured the working class stay entrapped to never ending mortgage payments. People First intends to slowly increase the minimum deposit required for a loan once superannuation becomes voluntary to stop people from borrowing too much money. The upside to this is that by keeping all of your wage including superannuation you will be able to save for the deposit much quicker, ensuring you have greater equity in your home and less debt to tie you down over your working career. One Nation have left themselves wide open to Labor’s fear campaign by not having a clear policy alternative to compulsory superannuation. Labor are claiming house prices will rise if people can access their super. Whilst this may be a possibly it doesn’t have to occur if the right guardrails are put in. The easiest way to solve this issue is by lifting the minimum deposit required to buy a house. By doing this home buyers will end up with greater equity rather than more debt. Currently people can buy a house with a 5% deposit, meaning you only need $50,000 to buy a million dollar house. If the minimum deposit was increased to 10% you would need $100,000 to buy the same house. The increased equity can come from superannuation rather than taking on more debt. Minimum deposits used to be a lot higher to stop people from over leveraging into housing. Unfortunately lending standards were relaxed which has resulted in many people being unable to pay off their mortgage by the time they are retired. This of course ensured the working class stay entrapped to never ending mortgage payments. People First intends to slowly increase the minimum deposit required for a loan once superannuation becomes voluntary to stop people from borrowing too much money. The upside to this is that by keeping all of your wage including superannuation you will be able to save for the deposit much quicker, ensuring you have greater equity in your home and less debt to tie you down over your working career.
