Donkeys are among the most abused and ignored animals in our society. They are forced to carry unbearable loads for years. Their bodies are pushed beyond limits. Well that’s not exactly how I envisioned the fight playing out - but it wasn’t the worst ending either. The streets are saying I went out in a blaze of glory and after those last 10 seconds I’d have to agree. I gave it everything I had. Thank you UFC for giving me this life and the ability to extend my athletic career beyond wrestling. I can confidently say I accomplished everything I set out to when I stepped into the octagon in the gold shorts all those years ago. Thank you to my team. Coaches, teammates, management, and most of all my family. You are the reason I was able to go out there and give this game my very best. My top 3 in voting was 1. cs_alpine 2. de_golden 3. de_warden This is Golden; a very interesting layout that takes a little getting used to, hence me dying a lot at the start of this playtest but it gets better. This is the map I want to play the most due to the layout. This contest had a number of daring and unique layouts (contact is also worth a look); for me this one was the most intriguing and perhaps offers something new to CS2 . Perhaps Overpass stans will get the mental juices flowing on this map. Maps like these offer something new and challenging to CS, beyond the tried and tested layout formula that we are all familiar with. When CS2 add new community maps in updates, I think a video should accompany the changes with fly-throughs and some words on the type of map it is to encourage people to test the waters of these new maps and potentially shape the future of the active duty map pool.

There are many great films but for me - perhaps because I saw it again recently - Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World stands as the most quintessentially masculine film of recent decades. Simply put, it portrays manhood stripped to its essentials. I'm talking about honour, adversity, courage, duty, sacrifice, and, above all, friendship - all without apology, irony, or modern sentimentality. Captain Jack Aubrey leads his men through relentless storms, scarce supplies, and a superior enemy vessel not for glory or self-expression, but from an unyielding sense of duty to ship, crew, and country. Honour is lived daily in the rigid codes of the Royal Navy in that decisions are made, orders obeyed, and personal cost accepted without complaint. Courage appears not as swagger but as quiet resolve - facing grapeshot, climbing frozen rigging, or enduring the surgeon's saw. Sacrifice is constant and unglamorous as we see lives are lost, limbs are taken, and the greater good of the mission outweighs individual survival. For me, though, at the heart of it all, is the profound friendship between Aubrey and Dr. Stephen Maturin. Both are two very different men with different outlook on life but bound by mutual respect, shared music, sharp debate, and absolute loyalty under fire. Their bond, forged in isolation and tested by hardship, elevates the film beyond mere adventure into a study of masculine brotherhood that feels both timeless and rare. I would add that, unlike the bombastic Hollywood spectacles that chase fleeting trends with CGI excess, this film is rooted in authentic historical detail. That authenticity means it never ages, just as the values and character it celebrates remain timeless. #Turtleboy responded to Surviving The Survivor Podcast For context: Turtleboy randomly attacked this man, for no reason, other than he and his mother have been invited to CrimeCon while he is not. Otherwise, the Waldman family has done absolutely nothing to him, and has actually hosted him on their show. He continues to perpetuate negative stereotypes by accusing Waldman of "using" the systemic murder of six million Jews for money. He tries to re-route the conversation to the Israel/Palestine conflict. He yet again diminishes the cultural and generational trauma of genocide. He does not understand that Joel and his mother both contribute to, and are the faces of, the channel. I did not know who they were very deeply at all until a couple days ago, and I already understand that. Didn't have to dig that far. It is HER book as well that is being sold. I ordered it. And he never apologizes. This is what this guy does. He pokes and prods for the most painful pressure point he can find, and then exploits it. It goes beyond just insensitivity and bigotry and straight into unadulterated malice. If you're upset about what he has to say about a Holocaust survivor, you should hear what he has to say about the family and friends of murder victims, and their kids. There should be no space for this in the "true crime" community. There have to be some limits.

Five days ago, the Pakistani state sentenced Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Baloch to life imprisonment. It believes that by burying the faces of this movement behind the walls of Hudda Jail, it can crush a nation’s collective hope. It mistook leadership for ownership. It mistook repression for permanence. Most of all, it mistook the Baloch people for a people whose convictions could be exhausted by fear.
