تشبه كثيرا المدينة الجزائرية،الجسور المعلقة قسنطينة ،فقط أن قسنطينة أقدم بكثير من المدينة الأندلسية،قسنطينة أو سيرتا كانت عاصمة نوميديا الجزائرية 300سنة قبل الميلاد.

كانت مرثية الأندلس كلما أرددها، تعصف بقلبي شعور بالانكسار، حتى جاء زمان غزة، فأبصرت كيف تُفقد الأوطان، وعلمت سر ضياع الأندلس. لكل شيءٍ إذا ما تمَّ نقصانُ فلا يُغرُّ بطيب العيش إنسانُ هي الأمورُ كما شاهدتها دولٌ من سرَّه زمنٌ ساءته أزمان وهذه الدار لا تُبقي على أحدٍ ولا يدوم على حالٍ لها شان أَينَ المُلوكُ ذَوي التيجانِ مِن يَمَنٍ وَأَينَ مِنهُم أَكالِيلٌ وَتيجَانُ وَأَينَ ما شادَهُ شَدّادُ في إِرَمٍ وَأينَ ما ساسَه في الفُرسِ ساسانُ أَتى عَلى الكُلِّ أَمرٌ لا مَرَدّ لَهُ حَتّى قَضوا فَكَأنّ القَوم ما كانُوا
