The Omani lime is more than just a crop. It is a native variety that has long been part of Oman’s agricultural heritage, with a lasting place in everyday life and on Omani tables. Today, at Rahab Farm, we celebrate its first harvest after two years of dedicated care, as part of the first carbon credit project. A milestone that reflects how sustainability can help preserve native varieties, strengthen agricultural production, and contribute to a more resilient food system for the Sultanate of Oman. A journey that began with a vision… Now bearing its first harvest.

I’m sure whoever has watched my videos on free mixing knows my stance on this matter. Ali Dawah is once again oversimplifying the issue by using his usual rabbinical Talmudic loopholes. He wanted to insinuate, based on the hadith in which ʿUmar رضي الله عنه advised the Prophet ﷺ: O Messenger of Allah, let your wives be veiled.” But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not do so. Ali then goes on a rant asking, Do you have more ghayrah than the Prophet ﷺ? while completely missing the context of the hadith. He conveniently left out the very next part of the narration: قَدْ عَرَفْنَاكِ يَا سَوْدَةُ. حِرْصًا عَلَى أَنْ يَنْزِلَ الْحِجَابُ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ آيَةَ الْحِجَابِ I recognised you, O Sawdah. He said this because he eagerly desired that the verses of hijab be revealed. So Allah revealed the verses of hijab. This emphasises that Umar رضي الله عنه was waiting for revelation from the Qur’an. The reason the Prophet ﷺ did not command hijab before that point was simple: it had not yet been revealed to him by Allah. It’s that simple. Let me educate this fool even further. When the Muslims were being persecuted, tortured, and killed in Makkah, the Prophet ﷺ did not command his followers to fight. Why? Do you think the Prophet ﷺ was afraid? Astaghfirullah. Rather, he was waiting for revelation from Allah. The permission to fight came after the migration to Madinah, not before. Ibn Kathir, in his tafisr, mentions: قال العوفي، عن ابن عباس: نزلت في محمد وأصحابه حين أخرجوا من مكة. وقال غير واحد من السلف: هذه أول آية نزلت في الجهاد، واستدل بهذه الآية بعضهم على أن السورة مدنية، وقاله مجاهد، والضحاك، وقتادة، وغير واحد. Al-Awfi narrated from Ibn ʿAbbās that he said: This verse was revealed concerning Muhammad ﷺ and his companions when they were expelled from Makkah. A number of the early scholars said: “This was the first verse revealed concerning jihad.” Some of them used this verse as evidence that this sūrah is Madinan. This was also the view of Mujāhid, al-Ḍaḥḥāk, Qatādah, and a number of other scholars. Ibn Kathir then explains: Allahonly legislated jihad at the time most appropriate for it. While the Muslims were in Makkah, the polytheists greatly outnumbered them. Had Allah commanded the Muslims who were fewer than one-tenth of their enemies to fight at that stage, it would have been an unbearable hardship for them. For this reason, when the people of Yathrib pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the night of al-ʿAqabah, and they numbered a little over eighty, they said: O Messenger of Allah, shall we attack the people of the valley? meaning the people of Mina during the nights of Mina and kill them?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied: إني لم أؤمر بهذا I have not been commanded to do that. The Prophet ﷺ made it absolutely clear: “I have not been commanded to do that. Likewise, in the case of hijab, he did not do so as per the hadith until Allah revealed it. The principle is exactly the same: the Prophet ﷺ acted upon revelation, not personal preference or public pressure. That completely destroys Ali Dawah’s argument, the idiot Ali dawah

🚨 This is the third utility for $LAMB. LAMB’s third core utility is a certification-based EdTech business designed to directly enable real token usage and long-term token value appreciation. Throughout history, humanity has progressed by seeking better thinking and deeper understanding, and education has been a foundational industry shaping human intelligence, values, societies, and civilizations. Since the COVID era, online education has expanded rapidly, moving beyond simple knowledge delivery toward cognitive development and structured thinking training. LAMB’s EdTech initiative is built upon the founder’s extensive background in philosophy and theology over a decade of studying human cognition and value formation combined with direct experience in the education industry. LAMB operates on the principle that knowledge only transforms judgment and behavior when it is internalized through structured curricula and repeated training. Based on this philosophy, LAMB is building a globally scalable, systematized EduTech platform. This platform is designed not only for individual learners but also as a shared intellectual infrastructure for all DAOs within the LAMB ecosystem. Each DAO is structured not merely as a governance unit, but as a Collective Intelligence, where decision-making capability and cognitive quality are continuously cultivated. The EdTech platform serves as the common foundation for this system. LAMB integrates the brain IP of Tony Buzan, creator of Mind Maps, the intellectual authority of the world’s highest IQ record holder, and the official certification system of the World Memory Championships to establish a brain-training and credential-based EdTech platform aiming to become a global credentialing standard. The LAMB EdTech platform generates real revenue through a subscription-based learning model, centered on brain training and domain-specific online courses, as well as through the issuance of official IQ and World Memory Championships certifications. This structure enables global scalability, recurring payments, and long-term demand, forming a sustainable EdTech revenue model. Additionally, DAO members within the LAMB ecosystem participate in tailored cognitive, judgment, and decision-making training tracks aligned with each DAO’s purpose. This educational layer functions as a core mechanism for improving governance quality and long-term sustainability across the ecosystem. LAMB’s key differentiation lies in being not merely an online education platform, but a credential-centric EdTech model that unifies world-class brain IP with an official global certification system. Through brain-training programs linked to World Memory Championships certification, LAMB establishes a system that issues and verifies globally recognized credentials. These certifications go beyond personal skill validation and serve as a standard for intellectual trust and decision quality across the entire LAMB DAO ecosystem. Within the LAMB EdTech system, the token is not a simple payment instrument. Instead, it is designed as a multi-layer utility token that connects educational access, certification trust, performance incentives, and DAO participation rights. LAMB tokens function as a token-gated participation mechanism across subscription programs, advanced courses, certification issuance and maintenance, and DAO education tracks. Learning outcomes and DAO contributions are rewarded with token-based incentives, creating a strong incentive alignment among learners, DAO participants, and the platform. More than 50% of all revenue generated across the LAMB ecosystem, including the EdTech business, is allocated to LAMB token buybacks. As educational participation and DAO activity expand, token demand and scarcity increase together, forming an intrinsic token sink. Through this structure, LAMB becomes not merely a circulating asset, but a DAO-native EdTech token whose value strengthens as collective intelligence accumulates. Final Message LAMB’s certification-based EdTech business is not simply an education venture, but it is core infrastructure that elevates the intellectual standard and decision-making quality of the entire LAMB ecosystem. By integrating humanistic research, education industry expertise, and a global credentialing framework, LAMB establishes a clear economic system that generates real-world revenue and returns more than 50% of its value directly to the token economy. The upcoming core initiatives will continue to demonstrate how intelligence, DAO governance, and token value are unified into a single coherent system within LAMB. Thank you. YoungHoon Kim Founder of LAMB276

To review the preparations for the Gangasagar Mela, I travelled to Sagar Island today. The dawn of a new year has brought with it a historic moment for both the pilgrims of Gangasagar and the people of the island. Ending a long wait, the Gangasagar Bridge, being built at a cost of ₹1,670 crore to connect Kakdwip and Gangasagar, had its foundation stone laid today. This 4-lane, 4.75-km-long modern bridge, spanning the Muri Ganga River, will make connectivity faster, safer, and more reliable. It will also significantly improve the transport of agricultural and industrial goods, while ensuring smoother travel for pilgrims, tourists, and residents alike. The construction agreement was formally exchanged today between the concerned department and the implementing authority. I also inaugurated ‘Sagarkanya’, a newly built 100-bed dormitory, constructed at a cost of ₹8.8 crore, to provide better accommodation for the thousands of pilgrims who visit this sacred land. The refurbished tourism complex has been renamed ‘Ganganna’. Additionally, I handed over the benefits of GoWB schemes and services to 2.26 lakh people. In South 24 Parganas, I inaugurated 96 projects worth ₹394.93 crore, and laid foundation stones for 70 new projects, including the Gangasagar Bridge, with a total investment of ₹1,929.37 crore. I also remotely laid the foundation for a 3.4-km high-drainage canal system at a cost of ₹528.93 lakh, connecting Siddheshwari Kali Mandir to the Bidyadhari canal junction in Ashokenagar-Kalyangarh, North 24 Parganas. This project will benefit nearly 50,000 people, prevent waterlogging, protect farmlands from flooding, and help curb the spread of vector-borne diseases. Today, I also unveiled the Gangasagar Mela 2026 booklet, detailing the comprehensive arrangements made by our government. For public welfare, we have fully waived the pilgrimage tax. Between 9 and 17 January, the state has arranged ₹5 lakh insurance coverage for pilgrims, residents, journalists, officials, or any other victims. Since the Maa-Maati-Manush Sarkaar assumed responsibility, uninterrupted electricity has reached even the most remote parts of the island. We have built three helipads, multiple jetties, formed the Sundarban Police District, established the Gangasagar Coastal Police Station and Kakdwip Harwood Point Coastal Police Station, and carried out the beautification and upgradation of the Kapil Muni Ashram, preserving both its sanctity and heritage. I was deeply touched by the warm welcome extended by the mothers and sisters of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, through the sacred sound of conch shells and heartfelt ululation. Their selfless dedication to humanitarian service, especially in times of crisis, continues to inspire me. It was a privilege to personally distribute blankets among local residents, reaffirming that service to humanity remains our highest duty. I also offered prayers at the Kapil Muni Ashram, pledging myself to the welfare and dignity of our people. We have documented 15 years of development through Unnayaner Panchali. Yet, certain divisive Jono-Birodhi forces, driven only by misinformation and malice, continue to spread false narratives, even targeting the fundamental democratic right of citizens to vote. The elderly, the ailing, and the vulnerable have been victims of this conspiracy that has already claimed precious lives. Bengal will respond to these Bangla-Birodhi forces through the strength of democracy, unity, and collective resolve. May the bonds of peace, harmony, unity, and fraternity remain unbroken. May every life be uplifted by the grace of purity, faith, and compassion. The Gangasagar Mela has bound me with an invisible yet unshakeable thread of love. Sagar Island will forever hold a cherished and irreplaceable place in my heart.

Appeal for the Protection of Balochistan’s Ancient Historical Heritage Independent Republic of Balochistan: 22 August, 2026 Balochistan has been blessed by nature not only with vast seas, immense mineral resources, and a highly strategic geographical location, but also with the honour of being one of the important centres of some of humanity’s oldest civilizations. Mehrgarh, the Indus Valley Civilization, and other ancient archaeological sites stand as living evidence of the thousands of years of Balochistan’s human, cultural, and civilizational history. Earlier this month, a large quantity of valuable ancient artefacts was discovered in Dera Bugti during excavations by local people, while just yesterday, local Baloch people in the oil and mineral rich region of the Kohlu District (Kohlu, Kahan of Kohistan Marri region is known the richest region of entire Balochistan. These discoveries have once again drawn the world’s attention to the deep and ancient civilizational history of Balochistan. Where is Kohlu? It is believed that It has more oil than Venezuela and Iran) also discovered ancient artefacts and archaeological remains. Kohlu is the hometown of Baloch nationalist leader Hyrbyair Marri HYRBYAIR MARRI the son of Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri. Former army chief Gen. Pervez Musharraf offered billion royalty to the Nawab Marri and Hyrbyair Marri to allow Pakistan for oil, gas, gold, critical minerals exploration but both the leaders refused to allow Pakistani military to extract the Baloch resources. These artefacts are not merely old objects; they are living documents of Balochistan’s past. Every seal, vessel, ornament, tool, sculpture, or other ancient object preserves the story of an era from which valuable knowledge can be gained about human society, trade, art, religion, ways of life, and the evolution of civilization. Scientific research into these remains can contribute not only to understanding Balochistan but also to understanding the shared history of all humanity. It is a great honour for Balochistan that its land has preserved such ancient civilizations and historical heritage. The Republic of Balochistan appeals to all international institutions, archaeologists, historians, museums, and organizations working to preserve ancient civilizations, Mehrgarh, the Indus Valley Civilization, and human history to play their role in protecting Balochistan’s historical heritage. Balochistan urgently needs international attention and cooperation so that these precious artefacts can be preserved, documented, and made available for scientific research, while protecting them from illegal transfer, destruction, or loss. We are also deeply concerned that if this historical heritage falls into the hands rogue state of Pakistan who seek to erase Balochistan’s history, language, and culture rather than preserve them, these artefacts could also suffer irreparable damage. In the context of reports of destruction and pressure involving educational and cultural institutions, libraries, and materials related to Baloch history and culture in Balochistan, as well as actions against students, teachers, professors, and individuals conducting research on history, serious international concern is necessary regarding the protection of these ancient remains. This is not only a time to rediscover the past, but also to protect it. These archaeological remains are not merely the heritage of the Baloch people; they are part of the shared civilizational heritage of all humanity. The world must take immediate steps to protect Balochistan’s ancient historical heritage, provide experts with opportunities for research and documentation, and ensure that these rare testimonies of thousands of years of human history do not become victims of Pakistan's state terrorism, war, neglect, illegal trade, or any form of destruction. Balochistan wishes to preserve and present this magnificent heritage of its land to the world with dignity, so that future generations may also see, understand, and take pride in their ancient history.

Input: Jane Jacobs quotes and YouTube interview; handwritten outline; education standards doc. Output: high-quality, standards-aligned urban planning lesson plan. Plus audio overview to promote the class. 10 minutes to create, all thanks to NotebookLM and Gemini. This video is a new demo of NotebookLM that I shared earlier this month at the AI + Education Symposium with MeshEd, XQ, and Betaworks. This is an educational use-case, but the general structure of what I’m doing in the demo—take a curated collection of sources and quickly transform them into a detailed document that obeys strict guidelines—is generally applicable to many fields. Note how I am not just using the sources as ground truth for the project, or as the content for the lesson plan. The Jacobs quotes and interview are the content, but my handwritten notes provide the structure, and the framework source provides the values or guidelines for the finished project. With some simple prompting, NotebookLM and Gemini can draw on information from the sources using those different modes simultaneously: content, format, values. (I even forgot to explicitly tell the model to use the structure outlined in my notes, but it figured that out anyway.) This is remarkably sophisticated knowledge work. Building a draft lesson plan like this would normally take hours if not days. But crucially I’m in control of the document that is being generated here — it’s based on the information that I have curated, and on the instructions I’ve given NotebookLM for adapting that information into the lesson plan I want to create. Co-intelligence, as @ethanmollick would call it. For more info on the great organizations that helped me put this demo together--orgs that are shaping the future of learning and increasing access to innovative approaches to curriculum design--visit and I’ve pasted the full text of the lesson plan below. As you can see in the video, the original version also included citations to the source material so with one click I could verify that NotebookLM was faithful to the original documents I uploaded. High-Level Lesson Plan: Urban Planning and Jane Jacobs This lesson plan outlines a project-based learning course on urban planning, designed for high school seniors. It centers on the influential ideas of Jane Jacobs and aligns with the HQPBL standards. Session 1: Introduction to Cities and Jane Jacobs • Begin by exploring the question: "What kind of problem is a city?" • Introduce Jane Jacobs' key ideas about urbanism, focusing on: • The importance of diversity in uses, buildings, and populations for vibrant city life. • The role of sidewalks and "eyes on the street" in ensuring safety and fostering a sense of community. • The value of old buildings in supporting diverse economic activity and fostering innovation. • The dangers of "single-use" zoning and the importance of mixed-use neighborhoods. • The limitations of top-down planning and the need for bottom-up, community-driven approaches. Use examples from Jacobs' book, "The Death and Life of Great American Cities," and excerpts from her interviews to illustrate these concepts. Encourage students to think critically about the challenges and opportunities presented by cities. Alignment with HQPBL: This session establishes the intellectual challenge, as required by the HQPBL framework, by prompting students to consider the complexities of cities. Introducing Jane Jacobs' ideas provides students with a theoretical framework for their projects. Session 2: Neighborhood Exploration Project Introduction: Students choose a local neighborhood to study. This allows for authenticity by connecting their learning to their own community and their lives. Research and Analysis: Students conduct a "close reading" of their chosen neighborhood, focusing on: • Observing the built environment, including streetscapes, building types, and public spaces. • Identifying areas where Jacobs' principles are evident or lacking. • Analyzing the neighborhood's strengths and weaknesses. • Documenting their findings through photography, sketches, maps, and written observations. Guiding Questions: Throughout the project, use guiding questions to promote intellectual challenge and help students connect their observations to Jacobs' ideas. Alignment with HQPBL: By choosing a local neighborhood, students undertake a project rooted in authenticity, directly connecting their learning to their own community. The "close reading" of their chosen neighborhood encourages intellectual challenge by requiring them to analyze the built environment and identify areas where Jacobs' principles are applicable. The use of photography, sketches, maps, and written observations allows for diverse forms of documentation, catering to various learning styles. Session 3: Proposing Interventions Brainstorming Solutions: Based on their analysis, students brainstorm potential interventions or improvements to their chosen neighborhood, applying Jacobs' principles. Project Proposal Development: Students develop their interventions into more concrete project proposals, incorporating elements of project management. Proposals should include goals, strategies, potential challenges, and realistic timelines. Encourage students to consider the perspectives of different stakeholders in the neighborhood. Peer Review and Feedback: Students present their project proposals to classmates for critique. This fosters collaboration and allows students to learn from each other's perspectives and refine their ideas. Alignment with HQPBL: This session emphasizes project management, as students transform their analyses into concrete proposals. They define goals, outline strategies, anticipate challenges, and establish realistic timelines, reflecting a systematic approach to project development. Collaboration is fostered through peer review and feedback, enabling students to learn from different perspectives and improve their proposals. Session 4: Final Presentations and Reflections Public Product: Students finalize their projects and present their proposed solutions to a wider audience, such as: • A panel of local urban planners, architects, or community members. • A public forum or community meeting. • An online platform or exhibition space. Reflection: Students engage in reflection throughout the project, documenting their learning, challenges, and insights. This could take the form of journals, blog posts, presentations, or group discussions. Encourage students to reflect on how their understanding of cities has evolved and the role they can play in shaping their future. Alignment with HQPBL: Presenting to a wider audience, such as local planners or community members, results in a public product, showcasing student learning and engaging the community. The emphasis on reflection throughout the project, as mandated by the HQPBL framework, encourages metacognition and deeper learning. Students document their learning process, challenges, and insights, fostering a sense of accomplishment and personal growth. Throughout the course, emphasize the relevance of urban planning to students' lives and future careers. Connect Jacobs' ideas to contemporary urban issues and encourage students to think critically about how to create more livable, equitable, and sustainable cities. This project-based learning approach, grounded in the work of Jane Jacobs and aligned with HQPBL standards, can empower students to become engaged and informed citizens, capable of contributing to the betterment of their communities.

🚨 WARNING TEXAS: THIS IS THE TEST CASE 🚨 A $25 MILLION+ Saudi-seeded, Muslim Brotherhood–linked Islamic fortress is rising next to the University of Texas at Austin..... AND it is being openly promoted as a national Islamic model for Sharia-governed campuses inside U.S. universities. Nueces Mosque is a local mosque. 🔺This is EPIC City - redesigned for college students. This is civilizational jihad, built in brick and concrete. UT Austin is being used as the proving ground for a closed-loop Islamic infrastructure system designed to capture, house, fund, train, and ideologically enforce behavior on university students — then replicate the model nationwide. 🚨What is actually being built: ▪️ A Sharia-adherent mosque complex positioned beside a public university ▪️ A seminary embedded in campus life to train future Islamic leaders ▪️ Gender-segregated, mosque-controlled student housing ▪️ A formal Dawah Center framing U.S. universities as ideological battlegrounds ▪️ Internal enforcement mechanisms governing dress, conduct, and behavior ▪️ Sharia-compliant financing and zakat eligibility used to fund expansion ▪️ A revenue engine projected to generate $1M+ annually, making the project self-sustaining, permanent, and exportable Project leaders have openly admitted they are already working with a Muslim developer and planning additional property acquisitions to further expand this infrastructure. This is not passive religious expression. This is institutional control infrastructure. 🚨The ideological core matters. The mosque’s spiritual authority, Mufti Anwer Imam, is not a campus chaplain. He is a classically trained Sharia jurist, educated in the Deobandi tradition, trained specifically to apply Islamic law as a governing system — socially, behaviorally, and communally. His training pipeline runs through Qalam Seminary in Texas, a major hub for Islamic jurisprudence that treats Sharia as supreme law, not personal belief. This is the framework now being operationalized next to a public university. 🚨The financing exposes the intent. Nueces Mosque has produced a formal Islamic legal paper justifying the use of zakat - a mandatory Islamic tax - to fund this campus expansion. The paper explicitly cites: ▪️ Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the chief jurist of the Muslim Brotherhood ▪️ Saudi religious authorities historically tied to jihad-financing doctrine ▪️ Islamic jurisprudential bodies used to expand Sharia norms in the West Zakat is not voluntary charity; it is a mandatory religious obligation that has historically been used to advance Islamic institutions and, in documented cases, has been diverted through charities and networks later tied to terrorism financing. This project is not merely Sharia-compliant - it is structured to advance Sharia through religious law itself. 🚨This project didn’t appear by accident. Nueces Mosque was founded in 1977 by the UT Muslim Students Association, an organization historically established by Muslim Brotherhood members. Its first property purchase was made possible by a $150,000 check from Saudi Arabia, delivered through the Saudi Embassy, as publicly admitted by a founding financial officer. This is a foreign-seeded campus project, decades in the making. And here is the scandal. 👉 The City of Austin didn’t scrutinize this project - it facilitated it. Officials are physically relocating a protected historic landmark to clear space for construction - an extraordinary accommodation rarely granted for private development. 👉 The State of Texas has done nothing. Despite Texas officials and state leaders formally identifying the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR as foreign extremist and transnational criminal organizations, a project with documented Brotherhood lineage, Saudi funding origins, and CAIR-linked networks has advanced without investigation, financial review, or state-level oversight. This is the test case. 🔺The Nueces project is a closed-loop Islamic pipeline: Mosque → seminary → student housing → ideological enforcement → leadership training → national replication Operating alongside a public university, under religious law, with state and municipal assistance. Its own leaders openly say this model is meant to be copied at “almost every major university in America.” Austin is the test case. UT students are the target. Texas is the launchpad. This is infrastructure — ideological, financial, and institutional. Once infrastructure is built, the balance of power shifts permanently. Texans needs to demand an investigation -

In October 2025, the Prime Minister undertook a series of national and international engagements focused on infrastructure development, rural transformation, governance reform, and diplomatic cooperation. Here is a brief recap of the past month: 𝙊𝙣 𝙐𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 A defining highlight of the month was the laying of the foundation stone for the urea fertilizer plant, a landmark project developed through a partnership between Ethiopian Investment Holdings and the Dangote Group. With an annual production capacity of three million tons, the plant will utilize natural gas from the Calub gas fields, transported through a 108-kilometer pipeline. This project is a cornerstone of Ethiopia’s strategy to achieve fertilizer self-sufficiency and enhance agricultural productivity. In the Somali Region, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the Gode Oil Refinery, developed by Golden Concord Group Limited (GCL). The refinery, designed to process 3.5 million tons of crude oil and condensate per year from the Hilala oil field, represents a significant step in Ethiopia’s path toward energy independence. Complementing these milestones, the Prime Minister inaugurated the first phase of the Ogaden Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) Project in Calub. The facility, with an annual production capacity of 111 million litres and the ability to generate 1,000 megawatts of energy, strengthens Ethiopia’s industrial base while contributing critical inputs to fertilizer production and energy generation. During his visit to Jigjiga in the Somali Region, the Prime Minister observed the city’s rapid transformation since his last visit in January 2025. Thousands of new housing units are under construction, and corridor development projects are visibly enhancing urban well-being. He lauded the Dine for Generations Project, nearing completion in the Somali Region, for unlocking new opportunities in tourism and stimulating regional economic growth. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, accompanied by members of the Prosperity Party Executive Committee, visited the corridor development project extending from Sar Bet to German Square, encompassing the Garment Factory and the Furi area. Spanning 589 hectares, it is the second-largest urban corridor after Kazanchis. The project features 16.5 kilometers of asphalt roads, 33 kilometers of pedestrian walkways, plazas, sports and recreation facilities, riverbank development, and over 1,100 commercial shops. The initiative embodies Ethiopia’s broader vision of creating modern, livable, and economically vibrant cities. 𝙊𝙣 𝙍𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 Advancing his government’s rural development agenda, the Prime Minister presided over the handover of model rural villages constructed through the Rainy Season Voluntary Scheme in the Halaba, Kembatta, Hadiya, and Silte zones. Each home in these Rural Corridor Villages is equipped with solar power, biogas systems, sanitation facilities, and animal shelters, significantly improving hygiene, comfort, and productivity for rural families. These model villages mark a new chapter in Ethiopia’s mission to raise rural living standards and promote sustainable livelihoods. The Prime Minister encouraged regional leaders to expand these initiatives, setting a target of 100 new houses per zone by next year. During his visit to the East Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region, the Prime Minister also reviewed the rainy season wheat harvest and launched summer wheat production activities. He assessed progress in banana, papaya, and fish farming clusters, emphasizing the growing adoption of mechanized agriculture as a major driver of productivity and self-reliance. He also inaugurated the Welmel River Irrigation Development Project in Delo-Mena Woreda, Bale Zone. Once fully operational, the project will irrigate 9,687 hectares of farmland, benefiting 20,000 farming households and enhancing drought resilience, food sovereignty, and rural employment. 𝙊𝙣 𝙀𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 At the Koysha Project site, the Prime Minister convened a strategic review session with the Council of Ministers to assess the macroeconomic performance of the first 100 days of the 2018 Ethiopian Fiscal Year. The review examined achievements, challenges, and strategic priorities, highlighting Ethiopia’s sustained economic resilience amid global uncertainty. The nation’s GDP growth rate stood at 9.2 percent for the 2017 fiscal year, underscoring the success of reforms aimed at fostering inclusive and diversified growth. 𝙊𝙣 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 Building on the success of the Digital 2025 Strategy, the Prime Minister announced the forthcoming Digital 2030 Strategy, focused on advancing automation and improving public service delivery. He commended the Federal Supreme Court for implementing a Smart Court System featuring automated transcription, virtual hearings, and an Integrated Case Management System that enables litigants to track cases online. Covering 24 federal branches to date, this innovation marks an important step toward transparent and accessible justice across Ethiopia. 𝙊𝙣 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖, 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed attended the launch of the pan-African media outlet Pulse of Africa, a platform he first proposed during the 35th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly in 2022. The initiative seeks to amplify African perspectives, counter negative portrayals of the continent, and strengthen African unity through shared narratives. In his remarks, the Prime Minister emphasized that Pulse of Africa marks a significant step toward ensuring that Africans tell their own stories and shape their global image. Accompanied by First Lady Zinash Tayachew and a high-level delegation of former and current leaders, the Prime Minister also visited the Bale Zone to assess key development projects that integrate natural heritage with national progress. The delegation toured the Bale Mountains National Park, one of Ethiopia’s most ecologically diverse and economically significant natural areas. The Prime Minister observed ongoing tourism developments, including the nearly completed Dinsho Lodge at the heart of the park and the Sof Omer Luxury Lodge near the Sof Omer Cave. Both projects are designed to advance Ethiopia’s Ten-Year Strategic Plan by positioning tourism as a catalyst for economic transformation. The Sof Omer Cave Development Project complements these initiatives by improving access and visitor facilities around one of the country’s most celebrated natural landmarks. The delegation also inspected the Robe–Goro–Sof Omer–GinirJunction Road Upgrading Project, a dual asphalt roadway featuring five bridges that connect the productive agricultural zones of East Bale and Bale with central Ethiopia. The upgraded route enhances regional mobility, strengthens economic integration, and improves access to major tourist destinations such as the Bale Mountains National Park and Sof Omer Cave. In addition, the Prime Minister reviewed the Weib River Flood Control Project, which regulates water flow through the cave system to ensure year-round accessibility and protect its ecosystem. He also examined tourism development efforts in the Harenna cluster, including the construction of the Rira Eco Lodge, new viewpoints, restaurants, and coffee facilities along the routes leading to Tulu Dimtu, the park’s highest peak. These initiatives aim to expand sustainable tourism, create local employment, and showcase the natural and cultural richness of the Bale region. The visit concluded at the Fincha Habera Waterfall, where the delegation explored the surrounding landscape, home to the Ethiopian Red Fox, diverse birdlife, and striking geological formations such as the Rafu rock pinnacles. The area, which recently revealed a newly discovered cave system, will soon feature a glamping site designed to promote eco-friendly tourism. Reflecting on the visit, Prime Minister Abiy highlighted Ethiopia as a land of abundance and opportunity, urging citizens to safeguard and build upon the nation’s natural and human wealth for future generations. The delegation collectively reaffirmed the importance of stewardship, unity, and visionary development in shaping Ethiopia’s sustainable and prosperous future. 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, in his recent address to Ethiopia’s Parliament, highlighted the country’s substantial progress in economic reform, diversification, and infrastructure development. He noted that Ethiopia’s shift from an agriculture-dependent economy toward industrial and service growth has yielded impressive results, citing rapid agricultural expansion, record-high export revenues, and increased foreign reserves. Major investments in green initiatives, transport infrastructure, and energy projects are transforming productivity and sustainability, while prudent debt management and targeted subsidies have stabilized inflation. He emphasized the government’s focus on strengthening institutional capacity, expanding digitalization, training millions of youth in coding, and modernizing service delivery through nationwide one-stop centers. On peace and governance, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Ethiopia’s commitment to stability, dialogue, and national unity, warning against both internal and external actors seeking to destabilize the country. He stressed that the only viable path for Ethiopia is peaceful political transition and democratic consolidation. Looking ahead to the upcoming national election, he assured Parliament of the government’s readiness to ensure a fair and inclusive process. On foreign relations, he reiterated Ethiopia’s right to equitable use of the Nile waters and called for cooperative engagement with neighboring countries. Addressing the Red Sea question, he described it as a legitimate historical and economic concern that Ethiopia intends to pursue through dialogue and mutual development, underscoring that the nation’s growth is intertwined with regional prosperity and peace. 𝙊𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 On the international stage, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed led Ethiopia’s delegation to the 24th Summit of the COMESA Authority of Heads of State and Government in Nairobi, Kenya, held under the theme “Leveraging Digitalization to Deepen Regional Value Chains for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth.” Addressing the Summit, he underscored that Africa’s digital transformation offers a unique opportunity to rewrite its economic narrative and strengthen continental integration. He affirmed Ethiopia’s readiness to collaborate with regional partners to advance a shared digital future. In separate diplomatic meetings, the Prime Minister held discussions with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia on bilateral and regional matters of mutual interest, and with Dr. Constantinos Kombos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, to strengthen political and economic cooperation between their two nations. 𝙊𝙣 𝙏𝙖𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 At the 7th Annual Loyal Taxpayers Recognition Ceremony, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed celebrated outstanding taxpayers for their contributions to Ethiopia’s development. He reaffirmed that tax revenues are being invested in vital public goods and infrastructure projects and urged all citizens to uphold transparency and reject corruption. The Prime Minister emphasized that collective integrity and accountability are essential to building a just and prosperous nation. Throughout October 2025, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s decisive leadership and forward-looking initiatives across industry, agriculture, urban renewal, justice, and diplomacy demonstrated Ethiopia’s unwavering commitment to inclusive development and national progress. // #PMOEthiopia

🇺🇸 Before extending my wishes for a blessed Christmas to all, a few reflections on the growing divide between the European Union and the United States. The topic was discussed by a Dutch news outlet with a pro-EU perspective (video). But it warrants some deeper reflection. The European Union is quick to attribute its problems to external forces: to Putin, to Trump, to “foreign disinformation.” Yet anyone willing to look honestly will see that much of what is going wrong in Europe today is the direct result of choices made by the EU itself—structural, ideological, and institutional. As early as 2005, citizens in the Netherlands and France drew a clear line. They voted against the European Constitution. That signal was not respected. Instead, largely the same substance was introduced through a different route via the Lisbon Treaty. Legally permissible, perhaps—but politically and democratically deeply problematic. It marked the beginning of a profound breach of trust between European citizens and European institutions. In 2016, this pattern repeated itself. The Dutch electorate voted “no” to the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement. Once again, the outcome was set aside through an additional declaration. The solemn promise that Ukraine would never become an EU member and that military involvement was excluded later proved to be of little value. The message was clear: democratic input is accepted only when it aligns with the preferred course. This points to a deeper issue: the EU’s democratic deficit. The European Commission is not directly elected, yet it holds the exclusive right of legislative initiative. The European Parliament cannot introduce legislation on its own. National parliaments often receive EU proposals late in the process and have limited ability to amend or reject them. Power continues to concentrate at a level increasingly insulated from direct democratic accountability. This shift is reinforced by the European Court of Justice. EU law effectively takes precedence over national law, including constitutional law. Through ever-expanding interpretations of the treaties, competencies steadily migrate toward Brussels without an explicit democratic mandate. Member states have few meaningful tools to reverse this trend. Economically, the EU has made fundamental errors as well. The introduction of the euro brought together economies with vastly different levels of productivity, debt, and fiscal discipline. The policies of the European Central Bank cannot suit all member states simultaneously. The result has been inflation, growing wealth inequality, and declining purchasing power—particularly in fiscally responsible countries. National governments bear the consequences, yet possess little monetary sovereignty. On top of this, the EU has imposed an energy transition insufficiently grounded in economic reality or global competition. High energy costs and excessive regulation have eroded the competitiveness of European industry. Investment is leaving, production is relocating, and the cost of living is becoming unaffordable for a growing share of the population. The same pattern appears in migration and border policy. The issue is not only scale and lack of control, but also cultural impact. Large-scale immigration without effective integration undermines social cohesion. European culture—shaped by history, traditions, values, and shared norms—is under pressure. Culture is not secondary. *Politics is downstream from culture.* When the cultural foundation erodes, political instability inevitably follows. This is reflected in tensions around security, education, housing, healthcare, and the loss of a shared societal framework. At the same time, the EU continues to layer regulation upon regulation. Small and medium-sized enterprises—the backbone of the European economy—are increasingly burdened by complex, costly, and often ideologically driven obligations. Entrepreneurship gives way to bureaucratic survival. Agriculture faces a similar top-down approach. Farmers are confronted with far-reaching measures imposed without realistic alternatives or sufficient public support. Food security is treated as an afterthought, even though the Covid crisis demonstrated just how vulnerable Europe has become. Strategic autonomy begins with energy *and* food. Fundamental freedoms are also under pressure. Under the banner of combating disinformation, authorities increasingly seek to define what may and may not be said, even as it becomes clear in hindsight that official EU positions on Covid, climate policy, and geopolitics were often incomplete or incorrect. At the same time, citizens’ privacy is curtailed in the name of security, while the European Commission itself operates with striking opacity. Trust erodes when those who govern fail to lead by example. Public funds are also used to finance NGOs that influence or implement policies the EU itself cannot formally pursue. This circumvents democratic oversight and weakens accountability. In foreign policy, the EU is evolving into a geopolitical actor without a clear democratic mandate. Sanctions, arms deliveries, and strategic decisions with far-reaching consequences are made with little public debate. The relationship between EU defense initiatives, NATO, and national armed forces is increasingly unclear. For decades, the EU has presented itself as a project of peace and prosperity. Yet in recent years, diplomacy in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has largely been replaced by escalation and sanctions. These sanctions have primarily harmed European citizens through reduced purchasing power and economic security, while serious peace initiatives have been ignored—or even actively undermined. The fundamental problem of the European Union is not external, but internal: a system that concentrates ever more power, provides ever less accountability, and grows ever more distant from the citizens it claims to represent. The Tower of Babel is wobbling. Rather than assigning blame elsewhere, European leaders must look in the mirror, accept responsibility, and return to first principles: economic cooperation through the internal market, respect for national democracies, cultural sovereignty, and a realistic, diplomatic foreign policy—including support for genuine peace negotiations. I wish everyone a blessed Christmas. 🎄✝️

As the PKK Makes Peace with Turkey, It Is Quietly Building Up Along Iran's Border Despite the ongoing peace process with Turkey, under which it is expected to disarm and withdraw from its bases along Iraq's border with Turkey, the PKK and its affiliates are quietly expanding their presence along the Iranian frontier, particularly in Iraq's Suleimani province. Rather than disappearing, the movement appears to be concentrating its infrastructure further south, becoming the dominant armed actor along much of the Kurdistan Region's border with Iran. The latest indication comes from reports that the PKK is quietly digging new tunnels in the Halabja area, a border district directly adjacent to Iran's Kurdish area of Paveh, which has recently seen armed activity against the IRGC. If confirmed, this marks the latest stage of a southward expansion that has unfolded over more than a decade. That expansion has followed a clear geographical pattern. From its long-established stronghold in the Qandil Mountains, the PKK extended its infrastructure south into the Qaladze area, then into the Asos Mountains and Mawat district, now a major hub for PJAK, the PKK's Iranian affiliate, and arguably its second most important base after Qandil. From there, the organisation expanded towards Penjwen, another strategic border district with Iran. Its presence has also been reported as far south as Said Sadiq, and now, according to recent reports, it is constructing tunnel networks around Halabja. Although there are gaps between many of these positions, they are connected by a continuous mountainous chain stretching from Qandil southwards along the Iranian border. This terrain provides the PKK with a natural corridor, allowing relatively unrestricted movement despite the absence of permanent infrastructure across every section. The shift is notable because the PKK's expansion into the Suleimani area is relatively recent. When the organisation launched its insurgency against Turkey in the 1980s, its Iraqi bases were concentrated along the Turkish border, reflecting their role as staging grounds for operations inside Turkey. The movement established itself in the Haftanin area near Zakho, expanded eastwards into Amedi, then Khwakurk in Erbil province, before building permanent positions in the Gara Mountains and Qandil during the 1990s. Almost all of these areas lay within KDP-controlled territory. Turkey's increasingly aggressive military strategy gradually altered that geography. Rather than conducting temporary cross-border operations, Ankara began establishing permanent military positions inside northern Iraq, steadily pushing the PKK further south. The decisive turning point, however, appears to have come after the 2011 ceasefire between Iran and PJAK. While limited expansion had already begun, the PKK's most significant southward movement accelerated from 2012 onwards. That period also coincided with a major political transition inside the PUK. Following Jalal Talabani's stroke and prolonged absence from politics, Lahur Sheikh Jangi gradually assumed control over much of the party's security apparatus. It was during this period that PUK-PKK relations evolved into what increasingly resembled a strategic partnership, creating a far more permissive environment for the PKK's expansion throughout PUK-controlled territory. The locations identified above almost certainly represent a conservative estimate. Reports have periodically placed PKK elements further south around Kalar and as far west as Chamchamal. The systematic construction of tunnels and defensive infrastructure specifically along the Iranian frontier, however, is especially significant. As the organisation moves towards peace with Turkey, its strategic orientation is changing. Rather than remaining a Turkey-facing insurgency, it increasingly resembles an Iran-facing one. Under the reported terms of the peace process, the PKK is expected to vacate all positions along the Turkish border. Many of those areas, including Haftanin, Amedi and much of Khwakurk, are already effectively under Turkish military control. Only a handful of major positions, such as the Gara Mountains and parts of Khwakurk, remain and are widely expected to be evacuated as the process advances. If that occurs, the PKK's military geography will have been fundamentally transformed. Its presence along the Turkish border would effectively disappear, while almost all of its remaining infrastructure would be concentrated along the Iranian frontier. Equally striking is Turkey's apparent silence regarding this southern expansion. Turkish reporting on the peace process has consistently focused on evacuating positions along the Turkish border, with no indication that Ankara is demanding the PKK withdraw from areas such as Asos, Mawat, Penjwen or Halabja. This may suggest that Turkey's primary objective is not the complete removal of the PKK from Iraq, but securing its own border by replacing the PKK with permanent Turkish military control across the frontier zone. Another notable development is the rapid improvement in relations between Turkey and the PUK, despite the latter's continued close ties with the PKK. Turkey's intelligence chief recently travelled to Suleimani to meet Bafel Talabani and Qubad Talabani, and the following day Qubad met Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Ankara. Reports now suggest that Bafel Talabani could even meet President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as the peace process advances. These contacts are unlikely to be occurring without the PKK's knowledge. While the PUK and the PKK remain distinct organisations with different priorities, their interests continue to overlap. The recent diplomatic engagement appears more consistent with coordination, or at least mutual understanding, than with any breakdown in relations. An equally important trend concerns Iran. Traditionally, both the PUK and the PKK have been regarded as relatively close to Tehran. Yet both have recently adopted noticeably more confrontational positions. PJAK has resumed violent clashes with the IRGC, while PUK leader Bafel Talabani has issued arguably his strongest criticism of Iran to date, directly accusing Tehran of aggression following recent Iranian strikes inside the Kurdistan Region. Whether this represents a temporary tactical adjustment or the beginning of a broader strategic realignment remains unclear. The PUK and the PKK are, however, likely to remain broadly aligned in their approach to Iran. Although they are separate organisations with distinct interests, they influence one another and have increasingly coordinated their policies over the past decade. Their calculations should therefore be analysed separately from those of the KDP, which operates under a different set of strategic incentives. There is little evidence that either the PUK or the PKK is positioning itself as part of a broader effort to overthrow the Iranian regime. Their posture instead resembles Turkey's: they would likely welcome a weaker Iran, but not one whose weakening comes through becoming an instrument of Israel or a wider externally driven regime-change project. That distinguishes them, at least for now, from the more speculative claims that periodically surround Kurdish actors during periods of regional crisis. Ironically, despite the KDP's historically deeper ties with Israel, it too has been cautious about any direct confrontation with Iran. Rather than openly aligning with Israeli objectives, it has generally sought to avoid being drawn into the conflict. The differences between the Kurdish parties lie less in whether they favour confrontation and more in how they manage their relationships with the competing regional powers. Beyond the implications for Iran, the peace process could fundamentally reshape the PKK's long-term strategic position. Even if the organisation ultimately disarms inside Turkey and transforms into a legal political movement, it would not necessarily cease to be a regional actor. By relocating much of its remaining infrastructure to the Iranian frontier, the PKK would retain strategic depth outside Turkey while simultaneously becoming a legitimate participant in Turkish politics. If the peace process succeeds, the PKK would no longer be simply an insurgent organisation or merely a parliamentary movement. It could evolve into a hybrid actor: a stakeholder in Turkey's emerging political order while preserving extensive regional networks beyond its borders. That would allow the movement to avoid surrendering all of its strategic leverage and becoming entirely dependent on Ankara's goodwill. This could also benefit Turkey. If Ankara integrates the PKK into a stable political framework while tolerating its continued regional presence, it could transform a long-standing security threat into an actor whose interests become tied to regional stability. Rather than eliminating the PKK outright, Turkey would be incorporating it into a new strategic architecture, one in which the organisation gains legitimacy inside Turkey while Ankara gains indirect influence through a network of Kurdish actors whose interests become intertwined with its own. If this interpretation proves correct, the peace process would represent far more than the end of an insurgency. It would mark a strategic reorganisation of Kurdish politics across the region, with the PKK shifting from a border-based guerrilla movement focused on Turkey into a transnational political actor whose centre of gravity lies along Iraq's border with Iran while simultaneously becoming embedded within Turkey's own political system. My out of office message: The past two years have been marked by an accumulation of losses. Loved ones. Colleagues. Friends. People deliberately targeted and killed by the Israeli army. I learned that grief does not arrive as a sequence of discrete events; it accrues. It settles into my body until I start to wonder not only what has been lost, but what remains. There are moments when I suspect I have lost some part of my own humanity simply by witnessing so much death. I have watched people die in front of me in ways that resist description. I have lived inside a genocide as it unfolded, and I have watched another continue in Gaza, mediated through the relentless images on a tiny screen in my pocket that refuses to yield. The 24 hour image has dissolved the boundary between proximity and spectatorship. We can leave the scene, but the scene does not leave us. Some images insist on permanence. On more than one occasion, I have watched paramedics carry bags containing the dismembered remains of children. There are sights that do not become memories because they never cease to be present. They have reorganized my inner life. How much grief can a human being contain before it alters the architecture of the self? I have been chased by a Merkava tank. A grenade has been thrown at me. Israeli quadcopters have circled overhead as instruments of intimidation. Sound bombs have become part of the atmosphere. Israeli snipers have opened fire on me eight times, most recently last Monday, while a group of us filmed the demolition of homes in Haddatha. Survival, repeated often enough stops feeling like triumph and just, almost mundanely, becomes another condition of witnessing. This week brought another loss, one I had neither anticipated nor prepared myself to absorb. Its force has surprised me. Maybe grief does not become easier through repetition. Maybe each loss discovers a new vulnerability. For the next few days, I will step away from the field. Not because the work has become less necessary, but because mourning, too, demands its own uncompromising attention. My heart is in pieces.

This Kafir Zindiq dare to speak about “unity” while your doctrine is built upon hatred of the Companions? Unity with those whom Allah جل جلاله praised in His Book or unity with those who curse them, belittle them, and accuse them? This individual who says and claims Aisha رضي الله عنها is a hypocrite or a zaniyah وأعيذه بالله وأعيذه بالله is he speaking in utter Kufr Allah جل جلاله Himself exalted her in His Book and honoured her above all women of her time. To attack her honour is to oppose what Allah جل جلاله has decreed and to directly attack the dignity of the prophet ﷺ Allah جل جلاله says He is pleased with the Companions. You claim otherwise. So what “unity” are you calling to? Unity upon contradicting the Quran? Let’s be clear there is no unity between truth and falsehood. You cannot insult Abu Bakr, Umar, and the كبار من الصحابة those who carried this Deen, preserved it, and conveyed it and then expect to stand shoulder to shoulder with those who love and defend them. This is not a small اختلاف. This is a fundamental contradiction in creed. The Deen reached you through those very Companions you attack. If you undermine them, you undermine the entire religion you claim to follow. There is no intellectual honesty in that, only contradiction and اتباع للهوى. “Unity” is not a شعار you hide behind when your beliefs are exposed. True unity is upon the truth upon the Quran and the Sunnah as understood by the Sahabah, not upon reviling them. So no we will not unite upon insulting those whom Allah praised. We will not compromise the foundations of the Deen to accommodate deviation. If you are sincere, then return to the truth. Honor those whom Allah honored. Stop speaking about unity while holding beliefs that shatter it at its core. Just as the people of Palestine cannot unite with those who oppress them, expel them, and deny their rights unity is not built with those who fundamentally oppose your very foundation. And even that is a worldly conflict. What you are calling to is far more dangerous because it strikes at the very core of the Deen itself. This is not about land, politics, or temporary ظلم. This is about belief, about the very carriers of this religion, about the integrity of Islam itself. If your doctrine is built upon reviling those whom Allah جل جلاله praised, then the contradiction is not small it is foundational. So do not speak to us about “unity” while holding beliefs that tear apart the very roots of the Deen. We do not unite upon falsehood. We do not unite upon contradiction. And we certainly do not unite at the expense of the truth. Any Muslim who promotes or amplifies this individual for the sake of Allah جل جلاله, distance yourself from me unfollow. I will not associate myself with those who normalise attacks on the foundations of this Deen or remain silent in the face of it. This is not a difference of opinion. This is about protecting the integrity of Islam, the honour of those whom Allah جل جلاله praised, and the truth that was entrusted to this Ummah. As for those who follow such الكلام blindly, then fear Allah. Examine what you are supporting. The Deen is not a place for desires, personalities, or selective loyalty. Shocking information obtained by Beirut Politics In an unprecedented diplomatic move, the ambassadors of the 27 European Union member states, along with the ambassadors of Canada, the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, and Australia, held a series of meetings with senior Lebanese officials, including Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea, between July 7 and July 13. According to the information, this round of meetings is only the beginning, with seven additional visits to political and parliamentary leaders expected in the coming days and weeks. According to informed sources, the Western message was clear and firm: The need to swiftly reach an agreement with the International Monetary Fund. No circumvention of the required amendments to the Banking Reform Law. No weakening of the Financial Stability and Deposit Recovery Law by stripping it of its reform content. The sources confirmed that this broad diplomatic effort stressed that Lebanese legislation must fully comply with whatever is agreed upon with the International Monetary Fund, without amendments that would undermine the purpose of the reforms. This diplomatic initiative comes after Banque du Liban withdrew from the negotiation process with the IMF, while Parliament has begun discussing amendments to the Banking Reform Law. According to exclusive information obtained by Beirut Politics, the meetings carried two key messages: The first message: Do not tamper with reform legislation or attempt to circumvent it, because doing so would reproduce the very crisis Lebanon has been suffering from for the past seven years. The second message: There will be no meaningful international financing for Lebanon, no restoration of confidence, and no return of investments without a formal agreement with the International Monetary Fund. The information further states that several ambassadors believe some of the parties opposing an agreement with the IMF are not motivated by concern for depositors’ money, whose value continues to erode year after year, but rather by considerations related to preserving influence and authority, and protecting the interests of powerful financial and banking groups. According to these sources, the forces obstructing an agreement have failed to present any viable economic or financial alternative. The conclusion conveyed by several ambassadors and international financial institutions is that continued obstruction of an agreement with the IMF could leave Lebanon burdened by the consequences of its economic crisis for at least another twenty years. These positions remain attributed to diplomatic sources and international financial institutions, but they reflect the extent of international concern over the course of Lebanon’s reform process. Those who have warned have fulfilled their duty. TOPIC #107: PI NETWORK IS A STABLE COIN? -WHO DECIDES PI FULLY OM FIXED VALUE? Dear GCV army, I hope you are all doing great! First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for all your hard work. Many of you have achieved significant milestones, and it’s evident that you are making a great difference. Our influence has grown significantly, with an increasing number of social media posts and YouTubers publicly supporting us. I can see that more and more people are beginning to understand why we advocate for GCV. Today's meeting aims to alleviate any doubts you may have, allowing you to relax and feel confident as we embark on our historic journey together. I will answer the questions I’ve received and address some important issues we need to focus on to maintain our community's efficiency, particularly regarding our Generals, which will be the topic next weekend. I put the questions I received here. "A question addressed to Ms. Doris Yin in the emergency meeting 1– In light of the rapidly changing global circumstances and the increasing discussion about stablecoins backed by U.S. Treasury bonds, how do you see the future role of the Pi Network in this context? And what practical steps should the GCV army take now to accelerate this path? 2_ There are those who promote the idea that the price of Pi is what appears in the market (currently around $0.49) and compare it to the price of GCV within the ecosystem (314,159 Pi = 1 good or service). They say if Pi’s price rises to $2, it means that the value within The ecosystem is approximately 2 million dollars. With sincere appreciation and discipline." This is from the Arab head of GCV Ambassador Mr. Mohammed. Another question: "Hello, my Global Ambassador, I am Ateba Joseph, Ecological Ambassador in Cameroon And a member of the GCV army, I am delighted to exchange with you. Regarding the meeting with the GCV army on Sunday, July 27, 2025.. Here is my concern: A few days ago, a correspondence indicated that Pi is not or is not yet a stable coin. Upon reading this information, we have provided many explanations to help the pioneers understand this. I hope you will focus more on this statement to further strengthen our understanding of the subject. Thank you for taking my concerns into consideration" Thank you for the above questions; my answers are below. The first question concerns stablecoins. Many pioneers are hoping that Pi can be recognized by the U.S. government as a stablecoin. I wrote an article on this in May. On July 18, 2025, President Trump signed the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins Act (the GENIUS Act) into law. This legislation establishes a regulatory framework for payment stablecoins and marks the first federal legislation on digital assets enacted since President Trump issued an executive order aimed at making the U.S. the “crypto capital of the world.” U.S.-issued stablecoins are expected to become the primary means of dollar transactions globally, especially in emerging markets with unstable local currencies. The sponsors of the GENIUS Act estimate that by 2030, stablecoin issuers may collectively become the largest holders of U.S. Treasuries, surpassing foreign central banks. From this, we can see that U.S. stablecoins must maintain reserves backing outstanding payment stablecoins on a one-to-one basis, consisting only of specified assets, including U.S. dollars and short-term Treasury securities. It is clear that the Pi Network will not take this path, as it is not part of our plan. A stablecoin is essentially a digital representation of the U.S. dollar. All stablecoin issuers do not create a new currency; rather, it’s akin to purchasing chips at a casino – you must use U.S. dollars to buy those chips. However, Pi is a completely new currency. It does not need to be backed up by U.S. dollars or U.S. Treasuries to be used. If that were the case, we wouldn’t need to establish an ecosystem or have a three-year enclosed mainnet. I previously mentioned the possibility of Pi being an algorithmic stablecoin since only algorithmic stablecoins do not need to be backed by U.S. dollars. However, algorithmic stablecoins have faced significant failures in the past. The collapse of the Terra (LUNA) cryptocurrency resulted in a loss of at least $40 billion in market capitalization, with estimates reaching as high as $60 billion. TerraUSD (UST), an algorithmic stablecoin, lost its peg to the U.S. dollar, contributing to its overall collapse. The new stablecoin legislation recently passed through the Senate effectively ties the U.S. Treasury to crypto, as it essentially bets the government’s cash flow on digital tokens and market speculation. This legislation requires stablecoins to be backed by short-term Treasury bills, generating an estimated $2–$3 trillion in new demand for government debt, which is nearly half the current size of the T-bill market. On paper, this looks beneficial, but in reality, it creates a circular feedback loop: crypto demand fuels stablecoins, stablecoins buy T-bills, and T-bills fund government deficits. The government becomes reliant on speculative capital flows. Thus, we should understand why the U.S. government will not support the Pi Network as a stablecoin, as they require stablecoin issuers to buy T-bills and can no longer trust algorithmic stablecoins. So, what is the future of the Pi Network as a currency? From my perspective, Pi is already listed on exchange markets. It cannot be classified as a security because it is mined freely and is not an ICO. Instead, it should be categorized as a commodity, similar to Bitcoin and ETH. When a currency is listed for trading on an exchange, its price is determined by the balance of supply and demand. However, Pi is a currency in its own right; it has inherent value from Pi holders -Pioneers. Historically, currency has served as a medium of exchange. A medium of exchange is a widely accepted item for buying goods and services in an economy. It facilitates transactions by eliminating the need for a barter system, where goods are directly exchanged for other goods. In modern economies, money (such as currency) serves as the primary medium of exchange. **Functions of Money:** One of the core functions of money is to serve as a medium of exchange, enabling the smooth transfer of value between buyers and sellers, thereby simplifying trade and economic activity. **Examples:** In modern economies, this typically includes currency (paper money, coins) or digital money. In specific historical contexts, other items, such as cigarettes in prisoner-of-war camps, have also served as mediums of exchange. **Importance of Acceptance:** For a medium of exchange to function effectively, it must be widely accepted and trusted within the relevant community. **Not the Same as a Payment Method:** While credit cards and checks are used for payments, they do not serve as mediums of exchange themselves. Therefore, stablecoin is not a new currency. It is more likely to have a credit card or check character. It is a USD digital status. From the analysis presented, we can draw the following conclusions: The current price of Pi on the exchange market primarily serves as a temporary measure to facilitate broad expansion. While this is not our primary objective, it constitutes a strategic approach towards achieving our mission. To gain a clearer perspective, we must adopt a higher-level view of the overall vision for the Pi Network. The mission and vision of Pi Network clearly articulate that it is not intended to function as a commodity for sale, nor is it meant to be an investment vehicle or a speculative security. Instead, it is crucial to recognize that Pi is designed to be a medium of exchange—a new form of currency. As pioneers in this venture, we have the unique opportunity to acquire Pi through free mining. However, it is important to note that the current mining rate is relatively slow. To overcome this limitation and to further our goal of mass adoption, it is essential for more individuals to join the Pi Network and participate in holding Pi. One efficient way to accelerate this process is by allowing Pi to be traded on the exchange market, which can result in rapid and widespread adoption. Since Pi can be mined for free, a lower price could make it more accessible to a larger number of people. It's important to focus on our primary goal during this pre-full Open Mainnet (OM) phase: mass adoption, rather than aiming for high prices, which many pioneers expected. Some pioneers want to sell when the price increases, but if too many sell, it could undermine our goal of achieving mass adoption. This scenario is reminiscent of historical instances when shells served as currency—readily accessible from the sea or buy from the village market. For shells to function effectively as currency, a collective effort was needed to hold and circulate them within the village. If only a select few individuals possess the shells, the currency lacks the necessary circulation to sustain an economy. Hence, our goal should not be centered on achieving a high price; instead, we should strive to make Pi more affordable so that a greater number of individuals can acquire and hold it, thereby fostering a thriving economic ecosystem. Of course, the rising price will build up merchants' confidence to accept it as payment. This is why we refer to it as a buyback campaign, which aims to achieve mass adoption and foster ecosystem confidence. As Pi evolves into a currency, the question of its value becomes pertinent. Given that it is a new currency, its value is not immediately clear. This presents an opportunity for us, the pioneers, to play a crucial role in defining it. The determination of Pi's value is not the responsibility of a central authority such as CT, the government, or the exchange. Instead, it will emerge from a decentralized consensus within the community, which collectively owns Pi. This concept is akin to ancient times when the value of shells was not determined by the sellers. Rather, the value was derived from the collective agreement of the village that utilized them as currency. I hope this elaboration clarifies the distinction between value and price, enabling a deeper understanding of the foundational principles that drive our mission with Pi Network. Pi represents a groundbreaking innovation—a revolution that is poised for long-term economic development on a global scale, rather than perpetuating cycles of plunder and exploitation. By harnessing the power of blockchain technology, Pi empowers ordinary individuals, which creates an inherent conflict of interest with the U.S. government in the short term. Should the U.S. government endorse the Pi Network, it raises questions about the viability of U.S. treasuries and who would ultimately purchase them. Consequently, the government may prioritize support for stablecoins backed by the U.S. dollar and U.S. Treasury securities, as this can help alleviate the U.S. government's issues with limited demand. However, I previously mentioned the potential for Pi to emerge as an algorithmic stablecoin. At that time, the Genius Bill had not yet been enacted. If the Pi Network gains acceptance from the U.S. government, its growth could become rapid and expansive, leading to widespread adoption in other nations. This path would position Pi as a legitimate currency in nearly every country, contingent upon certain conditions. For instance, if the price of Pi in the exchange market can align with the GCV, this could be achieved through a buyback mechanism involving 10 million pioneers. Such a scenario would indicate that Pi differs significantly from past algorithmic stablecoin failures, presenting a compelling case for the U.S. government to view Pi as a low-risk asset. However, it presents a significant challenge to be collectively reached by pioneers, and there are other conditions that we cannot achieve in a short time. While it might appear that Pi Network conflicts with the U.S. dollar or stablecoins in the short term, it has the potential to address the broader issue of overprinting currency, which has plagued the U.S. and many other nations. This would benefit international trade by alleviating concerns about currency appreciation or depreciation in international transactions. The global economy indeed requires a super sovereign currency—one that ensures stability for future generations and fosters lasting peace and prosperity. To comprehend Pi as a currency, it is crucial to recognize that we must cultivate long-term value by generating GCV data. In the short term, our focus needs to be on establishing a robust exchange market and decentralized applications (DApps) to drive mass adoption. If this is understood, there should be no need to feel discouraged by the current low price of Pi. The true value of Pi as a currency derives not from the exchange market, trading platforms, or governmental endorsement, but rather from our community's collective efforts and engagement. You might wonder how a government could adopt Pi, given that it does not take the form of a stablecoin. I would counter with the example of Bitcoin, which has thrived even in environments where many countries have imposed bans. Currently, Pi is transitioning from its traditional commodity status to being recognized as a currency, meaning governmental awareness of Pi Network is still in development. As such, existing regulations generally pertain to older forms of cryptocurrency rather than our innovative approach. Our branding as a digital currency, rather than a cryptocurrency, is intentional. Dr. Nicolas has expressed concerns that many aspects of conventional cryptocurrencies pose challenges to government frameworks and public trust, often leading to economic harm rather than benefit. Our commitment to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) protocols distinguishes us by mitigating money laundering risks and protecting Pi holders from speculative practices. Many businesses face bankruptcy or closure because consumers lack the disposable income to engage in spending. Imagine how Pi could enable those businesses to survive and thrive—people could utilize Pi to make purchases and easily convert it into fiat currency to sustain operations, thereby preserving many jobs. The function in our wallet that allows users to "buy" Pi is not merely a feature; it represents a vision for the future where conversion to fiat currency can happen immediately, without dependency on third-party exchanges. Moving forward, we can establish a fixed rate (the GCV) for conversions. Once larger institutions and prominent companies recognize the low-risk profile of joining Pi Network due to its GCV stability, we can expect a considerable influx of participants seeking to gain a competitive advantage. You may ask how companies would finance the purchase of Pi at GCV rates. This is an insightful question. My perspective is that the demand for Pi’s stable value will inherently incentivize investments. Much like why individuals purchase stablecoins for their convenience in facilitating cross-border transactions, Pi will appeal to consumers and businesses alike, particularly because we are leveraging Web 3.0 blockchain technology, AI-driven platforms, and a rich ecosystem of decentralized applications (DApps). We are cultivating a loyal customer base that recognizes the value of this innovation. We understand that high-net-worth individuals seek safe investment opportunities. While U.S. treasury bonds currently represent a secure asset class, they are not without risk. Therefore, if Pi Network can maintain a limited supply coupled with blockchain technology and a consistent GCV, it is plausible that affluent investors would allocate a portion of their capital to acquire Pi. This would lead to fiat inflows whenever there is increased demand for Pi, establishing an equilibrium between Pi and fiat currencies. This interplay is why I believe DApps are critically significant. We need broader usage of Pi in real-world applications. I hope my analysis has helped clarify why the price of Pi should not overly concern us. Buying Pi to hold onto it allows pioneers to accumulate more, while building merchant confidence is essential to kickstart the ecosystem. Merchants will be motivated to see Pi’s price appreciation since this removes the risks for DApps and service providers who depend on exchange market prices. A rise in demand for Pi will subsequently reduce its supply, which is beneficial for price increases. I look forward to discussing Pi GCV army management in another session. Thank you for your time. Let’s continue striving for greatness together. Doris Yin 🪷🪷🪷 Founder, Global GCV Movement Disclaimer: This speech is intended solely for educational purposes within the GCV community. The views and content shared here represent my personal perspective and are part of the GCV movement, but do not reflect the official position of the Pi Core Team (PCT). Pi Network represents a new revolution, meaning there is no existing example for us to follow and no guiding manual. As Dr. Fan mentioned, we cannot predict what will happen around the next corner. Therefore, we must practice and forge our own path. As more people traverse this journey, the road will become clearer.

Islamic Art of War By: Ofer Binshtok Islam wages a continuous global war through various methods and with varying intensity against non-Muslims 24/7, as commanded by the Quran and Muhammad, a war that has persisted for approximately 1400 years and will continue indefinitely. In places where non-Muslims grow weary of conflict and seek peace, avoiding confrontation and attempting to appease Islam, believing they have achieved tranquility through signing agreements with Islam and even allowing its migration into their territories, during this time, Islam builds its strength and attacks them when it senses it has the upper hand, from within and from outside, in the most brutal way possible. This war strategy relies on the Islamic Art of War, based on the Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah. Quran 8:39 - The goal: a world containing only Muslims through war. Quran 98:6 - Demonization of non-Muslims. Quran 3:28 - Deceive non-Muslims. Quran 47:35 - Do not seek peace when you have the upper hand. In other words, attack. Quran 8:60 - During a hudna (ceasefire), Islam prepares for war. Quran 9:123 - Attack nearby non-Muslims. Quran 9:5 - Kill every non-Muslim in the world. In 622 AD, Muhammad migrated from Mecca to the settlement of Medina (Yathrib) in the Arabian Peninsula, where he was received as a refugee by the Jews who had established and controlled the prosperous region, granting him shelter. Within approximately eight years, after building his strength, Muhammad eliminated the presence of Jews and other non-Muslims in the area. In 628 AD, Muhammad signed a ten-year hudna (truce) agreement in Hudaibiya with the Quraysh tribe of Mecca, as his forces were weaker than theirs. In 630 AD, when his power was sufficiently strong, he violated the agreement with the Quraysh, attacked Mecca, conquered it with ease, and eradicated all other cultures present there. Muhammad's Sunnah, which is binding in Islam according to Quran 33:21, commands every Muslim to emulate all of Muhammad’s words and deeds, which are considered sacred. ---- "A Muslim must be loyal only to the Islamic Ummah" By: Ofer Binshtok The identity of the Muslim is solely to be a part of the global Islamic Ummah, without any connection to a nation-state or to another culture that is not the Islamic Ummah. The idea of independent Islamic nation-states contradicts the Islamic idea as it is found in the Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah. A Muslim, wherever he is in the world, is part of the Islamic Ummah. A Ummah that should be ruled by a caliph through Sharia law. Islam is a global political-religious worldview of a world without borders. The existing Islamic nation-states are actually an act of heresy. A disbeliever who converts to Islam must completely break away from his former identity, become part of the Islamic Ummah, and serve its purposes personally. Every Muslim, wherever he is, is personally obligated to act so that the Islamic Ummah will be established—that is to say, to collapse every nation-state that exists in the world so that the Islamic Ummah will replace it. The fact that the idea of Ummah is included in the central motif of the Quran is evidence of the vital significance of this concept. In Islamic terminology, the term "Ummah" refers to the religious community, also known as the Islamic holy community. This is the primary interpretation of the phrase found in the Quran. Quran 5.51: "O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliyâ’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Auliyâ’), then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust)." Quran 2.143 "Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful." Quran 3.104 "Let there be one nation of you, calling to good, and bidding to honour, and forbidding dishonour; those are the prosperers." Quran 3.110 "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient." Quran 16.92 "And be not like her who undoes the thread which she has spun after it has become strong, by taking your oaths a means of deception among yourselves, lest a nation may be more numerous than another nation. Allah only tests you by this [i.e who obeys Allah and fulfills Allah's Covenant and who disobeys Allah and breaks Allah's Covenant]. And on the Day of Resurrection, He will certainly make clear to you that wherein you used to differ [i.e. a believer confesses and believes in the Oneness of Allah and in the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad SAW which the disbeliever denies it and that was their difference amongst them in the life of this world]." Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, volume 1, page 649: Muhammad said, "The earth was made a mosque for me." Sahih al-Bukhari, 3167: "The Prophet said, "If you embrace Islam, you will be safe. You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle." --- "Because Muhammad admitted to using terrorism, committing an act of terrorism is considered as a holy deed in Islam." Quran 68.4 And indeed, you are (Muhammad) of a great moral character. Quran 33.21 "Indeed in the Messenger of Allâh (Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day, and remembers Allâh much." --- "When a Muslim looks at a non-Muslim, the Quran creates a lens for him through which he sees and understands the non-Muslim, composed of these three verses (and there are many more):" 8:55, 98:6, and 9:28. Verses 8:55 and 98:6 portray non-Muslims as the worst creatures, even worse than cockroaches, bedbugs, and ticks. Verse 9:28 portrays non-Muslims as physically and spiritually filthy, akin to the filth of excrement. In summary: When a Muslim looks at a non-Muslim, he sees him through the lens of the Quran as the worst creatures, worse than cockroaches and ticks, and physically and spiritually filthy to the level of excrement. Quran 8.55 “Verily, The worst of moving (living) creatures before Allâh are those who disbelieve, - so they shall not believe.” Quran 98.6: "Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures." Quran 9.28: “O you who believe (in Allâh’s Oneness and in His Messenger Muhammad!) Verily, the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the Message of Muhammad) are Najasun (impure). [1] So let them not come near Al-Masjidal-Harâm (at Makkah) after this year; and if you fear poverty, Allâh will enrich you if He wills, out of His Bounty. Surely, Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.” (V.9:28) Their impurity is spiritual and physical: spiritual, because they don’t believe in Allâh’s Oneness and in His Prophet Muhammad; and physical, because they lack personal hygiene (filthy as regards urine, stools and blood). And the word Najas is used only for those persons who have spiritual impurity e.g. Al-Mushrikûn. Quran 9.14 "Fight against them so that Allâh will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people." Quran 8.39: "...fight them until disbelief (non-Muslims) disappears and the whole Dean (way of life) is for Allah alone...(for Islam)” Quran 9.5: “...kill the Mushrikun (non-Muslims) wherever you find them…" Al-Bukhari: "To wage war against Allah means to reject faith in Him." Quran 2.191: "The sin of disbelief in Allah is greater than committing murder." --- "The concept of Jihad as defined by Sharia law." By: Ofer binshtok. 09.0 JIHAD (0: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad, "We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad." The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as: (1) "Fighting is prescribed for you" (Koran 2:216); (2) "Slay them wherever you find them" (Koran 4:89); (3) "Fight the idolators utterly" (Koran 9:36); and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: "I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah"; and the hadith reported by Muslim, "To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it." Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally attended, some twenty seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. On the latter expeditions he sent others to fight. himself remaining at Medina, and these were forty-seven in number.) THE OBLIGATORY CHARACTER OF JIHAD 09.1 Jihad is a communal obligation (def: c3.2). When enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others (0: the evidence for which is the Prophet's saying (Allah bless him and give him peace), "He who provides the equipment for a soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad," and Allah Most High having said: "Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah's path with their property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to each. Allah has promised great good" (Koran 4:95). If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims. The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: 09.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year. The second state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that country, who must repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can). 09.2 jihad is personally obligatory upon all 'those present in the battle lines (A: and to flee is an enormity (dis: pH)) (0: provided one is able to fight. If unable, because of illness or the death of one's mount when not able to fight on foot, or because one no longer has a weapon, then one may leave. One may also leave if the opposing non-Muslim army is more than twice the size of the Muslim force). 09.3 Jihad is also (0: personally) obligatory for everyone (0: able to perform it, male or female, old or young) when the enemy has surrounded the Muslims (0: on every side, having entered our territory, even if the land consists of ruins, wilderness, or mountains, for non-Muslim forces entering Muslim lands is a weighty matter that cannot be ignored, but must be met with effort and struggle to repel them by every possible means. All of which is if conditions permit gathering (A: the above-mentioned) people, provisioning them, and readying them for war. If conditions do not permit this, as when the enemy has overrun the Muslims such that they are unable to provision or prepare themselves for war, then whoever is found by a non-Muslim and knows he will be killed if captured is obliged to defend himself in whatever way possible. But if not certain that he will be killed, meaning that he might or might not be, as when he might merely be taken captive, and he knows he will be killed if he does not surrender, then he may either surrender or fight. A woman too has a choice between fighting or surrendering if she is certain that she will not be subjected to lin indecent act if captured. If uncertain that she will be safe from such an act, she is obliged to fight, and surrender is not permissible). Source: Reliance of the Traveller - Revised Edition. Mehdi Hasan unmasked: this is how he sees non-Muslims as animals, as diseased and ignorant kafirs. A Muslim for whom the Quran as presented here serves as his lens on the world; and yet he lies and conceals this fact from us to advance the Quran's goal: our destruction. In these recordings he is caught saying his true thoughts about us without realizing it. 1. different from the rest of the non-Muslims, from the rest of those human beings who live their lives as animals, bending any rule to fulfill any desire. Once we do that, we are lost. In Islam, to believe is to know. To disbelieve is not to know. That is what it fundamentally comes down to. It is to remain ignorant, to cover up knowledge, after all, what is Kafir? Kafir comes from the root word, which means to cover up, to conceal. 2. The Kafir is the one who covers up that knowledge which is clear. The French orientalist scholar Lamendes, he once wrote that the Quran is not far from considering unbelief, disbelief as an infirmity, as an illness, as a disease of the human mind. SubhanAllah, non-Muslims point this out to us. 3. and of course the Kafir, the disbelievers, the atheists who remain deaf and blind to the teachings of Islam, the rational message of the Quran, they are described in the Quran as quote, a people of no intelligence, Allah said, not of no morality, not of no belief, a people of no intelligence. because they are incapable of the intellectual effort it requires to shake off those blind prejudices, to shake off those easy assumptions about this world, about the existence of God. In this respect, the Quran described the atheists as cattle, as cattle as those who go into graves and do not suffer wonder about this world. 4. All of these unanimously agree that at the very minimum, If Yazid was not a Kafir then at the very minimum, he was a Fasiq, a transgressor, a breaker of Islamic laws, a corrupt individual, a tyrant, a killer, a drunkard, a dog lover, a music lover, a homosexual, a paedophile a sexual deviant, someone who slept with his own mother. Quran 7:179 And surely, We have created many of the jinn and mankind for Hell. They have hearts wherewith they understand not, and they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones. A Muslim must be loyal only to the Islamic Ummah" By: Ofer Binshtok The identity of the Muslim is solely to be a part of the global Islamic Ummah, without any connection to a nation-state or to another culture that is not the Islamic Ummah. You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle." Because Muhammad admitted to using terrorism, committing an act of terrorism is considered as a holy deed in Islam." (122) CHAPTER. The statement of the Prophet: I have been made victorious for a distance of one month journey with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy). Sahih Al-B ukhari\ translated by Muhammad Muhsin Khan.- Riyadh. Volume 4. (122) CHAPTER. (56 - THE BOOK OF JIHAD) (Fighting for Allah's Cause) Page – 140. Quran 68.4 And indeed, you are (Muhammad) of a great moral character. Quran 33.21 "Indeed in the Messenger of Allâh (Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day, and remembers Allâh much." "When a Muslim looks at a non-Muslim, the Quran creates a lens for him through which he sees and understands the non-Muslim, composed of these three verses (and there are many more):" 8:55, 98:6, and 9:28. Quran 9.14 "Fight against them so that Allâh will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people." Quran 8.39: "...fight them until disbelief (non-Muslims) disappears and the whole Dean (way of life) is for Allah alone...(for Islam)” Quran 9.5: “...kill the Mushrikun (non-Muslims) wherever you find them…" Al-Bukhari: "To wage war against Allah means to reject faith in Him." Quran 2.191: "The sin of disbelief in Allah is greater than committing murder." "The concept of Jihad as defined by Sharia law." By: Ofer binshtok. Foreign "Jing Drifter" Volunteer Team in Jingdezhen On December 8th, a special policy briefing was held in the lecture hall at Taoxichuan, Jingdezhen. Ditching rigid jargon for laughter and cheer, the organizers turned the classroom into a theater. Police officers from the Zhushan branch of the Jingdezhen Public Security Bureau, joined forces with Read Philip Lenard and Michael May, members of a volunteer team comprising international artists living in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, to vividly interpret a series of practical policies for living and working in Jiangxi through a situational play, which was attended by more than 30 foreign artists. This event serves as a vivid microcosm of how the Foreign "Jing Drifter" Volunteer Service Team in Jingdezhen promotes cross-cultural integration and supports grassroots social governance. Launched on July 16, 2025, by the Zhushan branch of the Jingdezhen Public Security Bureau, the Foreign "Jing Drifter" Volunteer Service Team is the first foreign volunteer team in Jiangxi Province. Its 11 members come from 9 different countries. Leveraging the "Zhushan Police-Citizen Service Platform" in daily operations, the team assists police officers in a wide range of areas including entry reception, policy consultation, language support, and integrate into society. So far, they have organized 9 special service activities, provided policy consultation and translation support to 150 individuals, and served over 500 individuals. In this millennium-old porcelain capital of Jingdezhen, they have evolved from art seekers to cultural envoys, and further to participants in urban governance. "I’ve been living in Jingdezhen for over 30 years; this is my hometown." says Philip, a Canadian who leads the volunteer team, with immense pride. While dedicated to his artistic creations, Philip has also been sharing snippets of his life in Jingdezhen on RedNote (Xiaohongshu), showcasing the city’s beauty through his lens and becoming deeply familiar with every inch of its landscapes. This has laid a solid foundation for him to take the lead in this voluntary initiative. In recent years, he has taken the initiative to provide various life assistance to newly arrived foreign artists, from advising on visa extensions to guiding them around the porcelain capital. With sincerity and enthusiasm, he has built a bridge of trust, encouraging more foreign "Jing drifter"to shift from being onlookers to co-builders of the city. This cross-cultural empathy and connection is the most invaluable asset of the Foreign "Jing drifter" Volunteer Service Team. Michael May, another volunteer, can relate deeply to this sentiment. When he first arrived in Jingdezhen, he was once at a loss over visa-related issues. However, with the patient and meticulous assistance of police officer Li Yuchen from the Zhushan branch of the Jingdezhen Public Security Bureau, his problems were resolved satisfactorily. Upon learning about the establishment of the Foreign "Jing Drifter" Volunteer Service Team, Michael signed up without hesitation, eager to use his own experience to help others in similar situations. "Foreign artists often feel anxious when they first come to Jingdezhen due to language barriers and unfamiliarity with local policies. Having gone through the same challenges ourselves, we understand their needs better than anyone else." Michael says, echoing the shared aspiration of all team members. Drawing on their firsthand experience, the volunteers interpret policies and guide procedures for newly arrived foreign artists, effectively bridging cultural gaps. For instance, Indian artist Vijay Kumar successfully extended his 30 day short-term visa to 90 days with the team’s assistance. "The services here are incredibly convenient and friendly. They allow me to focus wholeheartedly on my creations." Vijay remarks happily. This convenient and efficient service experience is far from unique, it is evolving into a unique urban appeal of Jingdezhen. Anastasiya Huminskaya , a Belarusian artist who has taught in Hubei for many years, has also formed a deep impression of the city’s inclusiveness and thoughtfulness after hearing the firsthand experiences of many foreign friends. Having lived in China for 14 years, Anastasiya is no stranger to visa applications for work purposes and is well aware of policy differences across Chinese cities. "In other cities, the entire visa application process can take up to three months and requires a mountain of documents. But in Jingdezhen, with the help of the volunteer team, visa processing is fast and straightforward. I’ve never heard of any foreigner facing difficulties here." she says. This convenience has motivated her to recommend Jingdezhen to friends and family back home: "This is an ideal place for artistic creation, and many outstanding artists have chosen to come here for exactly this reason." "My soul is deeply imprinted with Chinese culture, my compatriots even call me a ‘China hand’." she says. The years of living in China have given her a profound understanding of Chinese culture, which she has seamlessly integrated into her artistic works. She particularly enjoys incorporating elements of traditional Chinese hairstyles and martial arts dance into her creations. The figures in her works, dressed in traditional Chinese attire and practicing martial arts, serve as a unique medium for her cross-cultural expression. These artworks have been exhibited in Belarus and other countries, earning widespread acclaim. "People love these pieces because they embody my unique experiences in China, offering them a more authentic and multi-dimensional glimpse of the country." Anastasiya explains. In the context of globalization, the level of integration of foreign residents is a key indicator of a city’s openness and governance capacity. The Foreign "Jing Drifter" Volunteer Service Team is not only policy interpreters and cultural communicators, but also mediators of potential conflicts. With their diverse perspectives, they inject vitality into social governance, effectively mitigating risks arising from cultural differences among foreign residents. Their efforts not only allow foreigners to deeply feel the warmth of Chinese society, but also demonstrate to the world China’s inclusive approach to advancing the modernization of national governance. #Jingdezhen #CulturalExchange #Volunteer #ChinaTravel 薛剑XueJian Zhang Zhisheng 张志昇 XUESONGPAN@CANADA Zhang Heqing Consulat général de Chine à Strasbourg Ribiao Chen
