"My husband stands 6'4", rides a Harley, and has tattoos covering most of his arms. At first glance, he can look pretty intimidating. Our dog, Bruno, a 100-pound German Shepherd, gives off the same impression. But Bruno has one very unexpected fear: shiny floors. Highly polished surfaces terrify him. To him, smooth linoleum looks like ice—or maybe a hole he might slip into and disappear. Today we took him to a veterinary clinic that had just been renovated. The floors were spotless and gleaming. The moment Bruno’s paw touched the tile at the entrance, panic set in. His legs shot outward, elbows stiffened, and he froze in place, trembling like he had stepped onto something dangerous. My big, tough husband didn’t pull on the leash or try to force him forward. Instead, he let out a quiet sigh, bent down, and lifted all 100 pounds of shepherd into his arms. He carried Bruno across the waiting room like a giant, frightened puppy. Bruno pressed his huge head against my husband’s neck, hiding his eyes from the terrifying shiny floor below. People sitting in the waiting area started laughing. My husband glanced at them and simply said, “He guards my house at night. Carrying him past a scary floor is the least I can do for him.” If you want to see Bruno now — the brave shepherd who still avoids shiny floors but never leaves his dad’s side — the way he curls up at home and watches over our family, comment “Bruno.” I would love to show you his update

Something happened this morning that really touched my heart. ❤️ My son, who is autistic, has always struggled whenever it’s time to barb his hair. He would cry, scream and make noises, and some people at the barbing salon would talk down on him because they didn’t understand what he was going through. Because of this, I arranged for a barber to come and barb his hair at home. But after some time, the barber stopped coming. A few days ago, my son told me he wanted to barb his hair. I told him, “Okay, I’ll take you.” I called the barber and asked him to let me know whenever the salon was empty so I could bring my son without exposing him to unnecessary embarrassment. This morning, he called and said, “Nobody is here. You can bring him.” We got there, and something amazing happened. My son sat down by himself. I didn’t have to hold him. He didn’t cry. He didn’t scream. He didn’t make any noise. He simply sat there and allowed the barber to do his job perfectly. 😯❤️ I was shocked. I kept looking at him like, “Is this really my son?” 😂 God, thank You! 🙏🏽 Maturity is setting in gradually, and moments like this remind me that our children are growing, learning and making progress even when the progress may not happen as quickly as we expect. Taking care of a child with special needs requires total understanding, patience, love and consistency. Never give up on them. Look at the video. ❤️👇🏽

Bob Denver Refused to Let the Professor and Mary Ann Be “The Rest” If you watched the first season of Gilligan’s Island, you may remember something odd about the theme song. After naming Gilligan, the Skipper, the millionaire and his wife, and the movie star, it ended the roll call with: “And the rest.” “The rest” were Russell Johnson and Dawn Wells — the Professor and Mary Ann. There was a reason. Tina Louise, who played Ginger, had a contractual billing arrangement that put her at the end of the opening credits. Johnson and Wells had signed later and wound up in the closing credits instead. So when the theme song was written, their characters were simply bundled together as “the rest.” But before Season 2, Bob Denver decided that wasn't right. He asked that Johnson and Wells be included with everyone else. When the studio pushed back, Denver had some leverage of his own: his contract allowed him to choose where his name appeared in the credits. So Gilligan made them an offer. If the Professor and Mary Ann had to stay at the end, put him there with them. Moving the star of Gilligan’s Island out of the opening wasn't exactly an attractive option. The studio relented. For Season 2, the theme was re-recorded, “and the rest” disappeared, and two familiar names finally joined the roll call: “The Professor and Mary Ann.” Years later, Dawn Wells said she hadn't even known the full story at the time. She remembered Denver as the one who went to bat for them. Bob Denver didn't make a big production out of it. He just refused to let two of his fellow castaways be treated like “the rest.” ❤️
