They raised houses of worship from fabric, anchored them with patience, and covered the ground with humbled hearts. Crowds hurried to the Taraweeh prayer with love, passion, and longing. Rows filled once more, spirits embraced, as if the city had been waiting for this night through two long years of devastation and killing—even worshippers had been targeted. But tonight… The Qur’an is recited again among the rubble. The rows stand in unity once more. Gaza returns to its original spirit—stronger than before.
