Why India struck Markaz Subhanallah in Bahawalpur, Pakistan? Bahawalpur is the nerve centre of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. Markaz Subhanallah, also known as Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah is located at Karachi Mor, Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. It is home to JeM founder Maulana Masood Azhar and his brother Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar, houses a grand mosque, a madrasa for over 600 trainees & hostels. At least 300 of these trainees have gone to 72. The Markaz Subhanallah was a cornerstone of JeM’s terror ecosystem. It is from here, Masood Azhar delivered anti-India speeches . The camp’s madrasa, Masjid Umm al-Qura, contributed to 20% of JeM’s recruits over two decades, radicalizing youth through religious indoctrination and arms training, often with support from Pakistan’s ISI. India's most wanted terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar’s 10 family members and four close associates have reportedly been killed in the Indian overnight strikes on Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
