Looking at the valuations I think PPFAS is right here. They have clearly mentioned on their website that only long term investors more than 5 years horizon people should invest. Nowadays you will see most other flexi funds entering into large cap only. Its all about valuation

Rajiv Thakker warned about high valuations at Peak of the market, kept lot of cash but SIP money is a mandate to buy stocks and they bought good cos only time will say who is right after 3-5 years, Equity investment is not a 1 yr return like bank FD . Discl: no investment in MF

Arent most of these good bets at current price point ? And although the return for these stocks is -16, is that also the return for the MF ?

Yeh flexicap bhut rula raha. In logon ko opportunities dikh ti h nahi hai 😂 Will reduce it to half when my 2year ends with the fund. Another 1y left for them to improve

So, what’s the point you are making ? As per SEBI Flexicaps should have minimum equity and equity-related allocation of 65% of total assets, and no mandatory minimum or maximum restriction on how much to allocate to each market capitalization.

Yet they are down just 5.7%
