I think this is one of those things I always knew was going to happen, but still needs to be said: #Fayemily in Brazil is here for Faye and for the people SHE loves and chooses to have by her side. What a beautiful thing happened. What a lovely, peaceful thing, an incredible energy... 🥹 And for anyone outside Brazil who thought there was even the slightest chance someone would ruin it: NO WAY. They stay within us, no matter where we are or what we are doing. Even today, being away for the shooting of my upcoming movie #DavidReddy, caught up in responsibilities, I could still feel that connection alive. Ugadi, for me, is not just the beginning of a new year. It is about the quiet renewal within, the change of seasons, the reawakening of Dharma, and the origin of Kaalapurusha. It is on this very Chaitra Shukla Pratipada that Lord Brahma is believed to have initiated creation and set the cycles of Yugas into motion. That is what we celebrate as Ugadi. Even from a distance, watching my family at the temple through a video call, that devotion still reaching me from miles away… it transcends everything. Mounika, Dhairav, and little Devasena performed archana in Nanna’s name today, and knowing that his grandchildren carried his blessings to the temple today fills my heart in ways words cannot describe ❤️ Being able to balance work while still staying rooted in where I come from is something that truly makes me happy today. March 19th was always a festival for me. Ever since I was a child, this was my holiday, my celebration, spent right beside my father on his birthday. For the first time, that holiday has turned into a workday, And work is something I cherish the most after my family… But maybe there is something poetic about it… because today also happens to be Ugadi, a day of new beginnings.
