The primary objective of this post is to persuade you to like and follow my YouTube Channel. Currently, I have 999,000 subscribers, and I’d like to get to a million before I launch the first episode of People You Should Know. As you may have heard, people have begging me for several years to reboot Returning the Favor, ever since Facebook canceled it after a hundred episodes, (and right after it won an Emmy!) Unfortunately, that title belongs to Facebook, but the business of celebrating regular people with bottom-up solutions does not. Hence, a new show on YouTube called People You Should Know, which I think everyone on this page will love. Assuming of course, you're not opposed to watching it on YouTube. To make the process of liking and subscribing to my YouTube Channel as easy as possible, I’m including a link to a short video that shows me making Austin Boedeker’s mother cry. Who is Austin Boedeker, you ask? I’ll tell you. Austin Boedeker is the son of a farmer in Ohio who applied for a work ethic scholarship from my foundation a year ago. His application was perfect. His references were great, his answers to my many questions were stellar, and his video was spot on. He also agreed with every single tenet in my SWEAT Pledge and signed it with great enthusiasm. So, I gave Austin some money to pursue a career in modern agriculture and wished him well. A few months ago, I caught up with Austin while filming in Ohio, not far from where he lives. I asked him to stop by the set to say hello and give us a progress report. I first met Saud Abdulhamid on my very first trip to Riyadh. Saudi Arabia. I had gone there to see Odion Ighalo, back when he was still playing for Al Hilal. That day, I was standing outside the training ground, just waiting, taking everything in. Then suddenly, a beautiful white G-Wagon pulled up. The windows were fully tinted, so you couldn’t see who was inside. For a moment, I was convinced it had to be Ighalo. As the window rolled down, I got ready to greet him—only to be met by Saud, flashing his trademark smile. He waved at me, and I waved back, even though, truthfully, I had no idea who he was at the time. Not long after, Ighalo arrived, and we headed into the training ground. That’s when I properly met Saud, along with his brother. We had a brief chat before training started, and that was the beginning. Our paths crossed again when Saudi Arabia played Nigeria in a friendly match in Portugal. After the game, in the middle of the crowd, I heard someone shout, “Ighalo!”—it was Saud. From there, we stayed connected, following each other online, keeping in touch in our own way. Then came another reunion, this time in Lens, inside his small but tastefully furnished apartment in the heart of the city. Back then, things were still uncertain for him. He wasn’t playing regularly, but I remember him telling me clearly that he wanted to stay in Europe, stay with Lens, and fight for his place. There was a quiet determination about him. I could feel it. And today, looking at his journey, that belief has paid off. He has grown into an important player for the club, playing his part in helping them secure a Champions League spot. He’s become one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest ambassadors in Europe. And life keeps moving forward. He just got married too. Big congratulations to you, my brother. 🚨HERASKEVYCH: “WE TRAINED 12 TIMES A WEEK. I FINISHED QUALIFYING IN FIRST PLACE WITH THE BEST RESULTS — BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THAT’S WHERE MY JOURNEY ENDED. THE CAS DECISION IS SHAMEFUL.” Vladyslav Heraskevych (Vladyslav Heraskevych OLY) was invited to the Munich Security Conference, where he briefly spoke with journalists and commented on the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decision to reject his appeal. HERASKEVYCH: Today we only had a court hearing this morning, and there's already a decision. We're already thinking about our next steps, because I believe the CAS decision is also shameful, but I'll comment in more detail a bit later. I need to familiarize myself with it in more detail. The hearing itself was, in my opinion, rather one-sided. I didn't hear anything we couldn't answer. Yet at the same time, there were no responses to any of our arguments. And it was very strange for me to see such a decision from CAS. The preparation took quite a long time, and for the athlete, for me, I was probably in the best form of my career. You could say I've been working toward this my entire career. If we're talking specifically about results, the training camps were excellent. I finished the qualifying training in first place with the best result. Unfortunately, that’s where my journey ended. Of course, along the way there were many sacrifices and many training sessions. On average we did 12 training sessions a week, and well, that's truly a massive amount, and they were exhausting. And unfortunately, all of this led to us not being able to compete due to the unlawful actions of the NOC. Q: If I may ask a question: how are you feeling right now? HERASKEVYCH: Right now I'm still in a state... I really haven't slept much these last 4 days, and we constantly have so many updates coming in. I honestly can't quite keep up with observing everything that's happening. I knew many athletes personally, and the idea came up a long time ago. We managed to execute it just shortly before the Olympics. It was painted by a wonderful artist from Kyiv, Iryna Prots. She painted all of this just like all Ukrainians are living - under shelling, in the cold, without electricity. But at the same time she did an incredible job to honor the memory of these wonderful athletes. Among them, we can talk about many. 🚨HERASKEVYCH: “WE TRAINED 12 TIMES A WEEK. I FINISHED QUALIFYING IN FIRST PLACE WITH THE BEST RESULTS — BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THAT’S WHERE MY JOURNEY ENDED. THE CAS DECISION IS SHAMEFUL.” Vladyslav Heraskevych (Vladyslav Heraskevych OLY) was invited to the Munich Security Conference, where he briefly spoke with journalists and commented on the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decision to reject his appeal. HERASKEVYCH: Today we only had a court hearing this morning, and there's already a decision. We're already thinking about our next steps, because I believe the CAS decision is also shameful, but I'll comment in more detail a bit later. I need to familiarize myself with it in more detail. The hearing itself was, in my opinion, rather one-sided. I didn't hear anything we couldn't answer. Yet at the same time, there were no responses to any of our arguments. And it was very strange for me to see such a decision from CAS. The preparation took quite a long time, and for the athlete, for me, I was probably in the best form of my career. You could say I've been working toward this my entire career. If we're talking specifically about results, the training camps were excellent. I finished the qualifying training in first place with the best result. Unfortunately, that’s where my journey ended. Of course, along the way there were many sacrifices and many training sessions. On average we did 12 training sessions a week, and well, that's truly a massive amount, and they were exhausting. And unfortunately, all of this led to us not being able to compete due to the unlawful actions of the NOC. Q: If I may ask a question: how are you feeling right now? HERASKEVYCH: Right now I'm still in a state... I really haven't slept much these last 4 days, and we constantly have so many updates coming in. I honestly can't quite keep up with observing everything that's happening. I knew many athletes personally, and the idea came up a long time ago. We managed to execute it just shortly before the Olympics. It was painted by a wonderful artist from Kyiv, Iryna Prots. She painted all of this just like all Ukrainians are living - under shelling, in the cold, without electricity. But at the same time she did an incredible job to honor the memory of these wonderful athletes. Among them, we can talk about many. Quentin Tarantino recounts seeing his first blaxploitation film with an all-Black audience at nine years old. The movie was Jim Brown’s “Black Gunn,” and the experience changed his life forever… “During this time, my mother was dating a football player named Reggie. So in an effort to score points with her, Reggie asked to hang out with me. Being a football player, he asked her, "Does he like football?" She told him “No, he likes movies.” Well, as luck would have it, so did Reggie. And apparently, he saw every blaxploitation flick that came out. So late one Saturday afternoon, Reggie, who I had never met before, dropped by the apartment, picked me up and took me to the movies. He took me to a part of town I had never been before. I had been to the big movie theater districts in Hollywood and Westwood, but this place was different. This theater row had huge cinemas on both sides of the street, which went down for about eight blocks. I realized when I got older, Reggie took me to the theater district in downtown Los Angeles, located on Broadway Boulevard. All of them were blaxploitation films. Films I had never seen, the new movie on Broadway, having opened just last Wednesday, was Blaxploitation superstar Jim Brown's new motion picture, "Black Gunn." I had seen the TV spots a lot that week, and it looked really exciting. I even remember the radio spot proclaiming, "Jim Brown was gonna get the mother who killed his brother." Well, "Black Gunn" was definitely the movie Reggie wanted to see. One being the connoisseur that he apparently was, it was the only one of the movies playing he hadn't seen. Also, it was pretty fucking obvious he dugged Jim Brown. This thing, the Saturday night showing of the brand new Jim Brown movie, the huge auditorium, I mean, it was probably 1400 seats, wasn't exactly packed, but it was definitely busy and buzzing with anticipation. My little face was the only white one in the audience. This was to be my first movie in a, except for me, all black movie theater in a black neighborhood. This was 1972. Then, on a downtown Saturday night, Jim Brown's new movie, "Black Gun," began flickering through the film projector shutter gate for an extremely excited audience of about 850 black folks, 800 of them male. And frankly, I've never been the same. To one degree or another, I've spent my entire life since both attending movies and making them, trying to recreate the experience of watching a brand new Jim Brown film on a Saturday night in a black cinema in 1972. There was no comparison. When Jim Brown sat behind his desk and Bruce Glover, Crispin’s father, and his other white gangster henchmen threatened him, and Gunn hits a button under the desk and a sawed off shotgun dropped in his lap (see below), the massive theater full of black males cheered in a way the nine-year-old me had never experienced in a movie theater before. At the time, living with a single mother, it was probably the most masculine experience I'd ever been part of. And when the movie ended with a freeze frame of Jim Brown as Gunn, the guy behind Reggie made me proclaimed out loud, "Now that's a movie about a bad motherfucker!" Pierce Brosnan on the lucky break that launched his film career: "I struck a vein of gold there. I was very fortunate. I was really lucky." Speaking during the third season of Remington Steele ("We're still making it. Yes. Hence this growth here. See, we've just finished our third season back in the States."), Brosnan looks back on how quickly things came together for him at the start. It happened almost by accident. As he tells it, in one slow week he managed to land roles in two films. The first was The Long Good Friday, where he played a small but memorable part: "I was the gentleman killer. I was the killer. I pick the fellow up in the swimming bars and then I stab him and then I pop up at the end of the movie and I point at Mr. Hoskin's head." The second was The Mirror Crack'd, alongside Elizabeth Taylor. His role there was brief, but the detail he remembers is a good one: "I was being cradled on Liz Taylor's bosoms." He plays down the depth of the part with a laugh: "It's very very very uh it's very brief. Um I mean my approach but uh it's just she looks into my eyes and says Jamie Jamie and puts a head and that was it." For all the Hollywood success, Brosnan stays rooted in where he came from. Ask him about his accent and he turns it into a running joke: "The Irish accent? Uh well, that comes and goes. It all depends on who I'm talking to. This book was just an ordinary book with pictures and text. But I wanted to bring it to life—to digitize it so that readers wouldn’t see it as just another book, but as an experience that takes our parents and #Chiranjeevi fans on a nostalgic journey through his movies. It all started with Nwin Kumar Anna. In my space, he spoke about life and the lessons of Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu, which deeply inspired me. Then, I saw a post from the Janasena Party where Pawan Kalyan Garu was holding *Megastar: The Legend* book. Pawan Kalyan Garu rarely holds books unless they are truly worth it. That made me curious. I searched for the book online but couldn’t find it. Luckily, I managed to get the author’s details, contacted him, and finally got my hands on the book. When I saw the book, I felt it was too simple. I thought, Why is this just an ordinary book? Why not bring it to life using my skills? And that’s how this journey began. To make it happen, I watched all 151+ movies of Chiranjeevi Garu. The most challenging part was finding the exact scenes from the movies that matched the pictures printed in the book. Days and nights passed as I worked on this, but in the end, it was finally completed. I first shared the concept with Adithya 🚩🚩🚩 Anna, and he absolutely loved it. The encouragement he gave me was invaluable. Huge thanks to Akhil for guiding me on how to manage both the tourism thread and this book my office work , and to @KalyanCult_1992 for helping me with some movies. I had initially decided that I would only show this book to Nwin Kumar Anna after it was completed, and finally, I did. ❤️ it's a small gift from my side to all Megastar fans like you. "Why does a VC organize pop-up barbershops?" I get this a lot. First off, my soul would implode if I hosted an event at a bar for happy hour in SF. The honest answer is that I believe experiences should make you feel something. The best ones change how you see the world. Cyan calls them "magic glasses." You put them on for an hour and you walk out looking at something differently. 3 years ago Cyan brought a barber to our Long Journey team retreat. We crammed into a small cabin and took turns in the chair. While one person got cut, the rest of us talked. About how we perceived ourselves. About how we were afraid to look. About the haircut we always wanted and never asked for. Somewhere in there it stopped being about hair. A haircut is only half about how other people see you. The other half is how you see yourself. Most of us have been quietly negotiating that with a stranger holding scissors our whole lives, without ever saying out loud what we actually want. So we brought it to San Francisco. We've run about a dozen pop-up barbershops now. We invite our founders and our community to get the haircut they've always wanted, and to say clearly what that is. It sounds small. It isn't. Asking for exactly how you want to be seen is a skill, and almost nobody practices it. Our clothes are costumes. So are our haircuts. Everyone is in wardrobe whether they picked the outfit or not. We've been lucky with barbers. Great local ones. And a few celeb ones, like Cody, who cuts Gwyneth Paltrow's hair. People come in a little sheepish and in my experience, leave FIRED UP about themselves. We don't need more happy hours for events in SF. We need more new experiences.

I reflected on my spiritual journey and felt an OVERWHELMING need to honor arguably one of my best friends , brother and church members in my life — the person who introduced me KU CHINAMATO CHE JOHANE MASOWE , his name is MADZIBABA TYRAGE "MISPAA" MASAMBA... Back in 2004, we first bumped into each other in London at a place called Harmonsworth. The prophecies and the preaching he gave me at that moment instantly and COMPLETELY changed my life. At that time, I didn’t fully understand the significance of the church, its teachings or its impact , but he took the time to explain and take me through the importance of prayer in our lives. His patience, wisdom and spiritual depth made me realize the BEAUTY of faith and how it could anchor my life. Today, as I look back at everything I’ve achieved, I always give thanks and praise up above...I'm a living testimony of one of our church verses that says VAIVE VAROMBO VAKA PFUMA NEKU MAMATA...🙏🙏🙏💰💰💰🤑🤑🤑!!!! So as a SMALL token of my appreciation, I invited my SPIRITUAL MENTOR and asked him to choose THREE additional people of his choice and i GLADLY bought each of them a BRAND NEW 2024 FORD RANGER WILDTRAK 4 X 4’s at $80 000 usd. My APPRECIATION will not stop there, early next year I will buy each of these INCREDIBLE INDIVIDUALS a house worth US$150,000 anywhere they choose in Zimbabwe just to further upgrade their lives.
