アニメ史に残る神シーン

A shame this story is mostly masturbation by a rabid nationalist fantasizing about recreating the greater co-prosperity sphere in a fantasy world. The JDSDF in particular, and Japan in general, deserve better than this. Not a story where Japan uses borrowed Western weapons to bully a bunch of fantasy world primitives. But a story where the stakes are truly dire, and the technology is just barely enough to let them compete; to give them a bare chance of victory if they put everything on the line. Ideally, though, the plot would set it up such that Japan has to lead the fight, because the portal opened there. I think it's important to have at least one *good* story where Japan isn't regulated to "little brother" status; where all the weight falls on their shoulders for some reason and, with the hopes of all humanity weighing on them, they stand up anyway. Maybe I should write this story. I don't think anyone else will.

I LOVE GATE!!!

GATEは自衛隊、軍事を描いたアニメの中で一番再現度が高いと思ってる。 これ以上を上げるとしたら、陸ではなく海の「はいふり」になってしまうだろうね。 GATE2は「はいふり」を超えるクオリティなのか? 期待!

これ凄いなぁ〜って思うのは、あのトンネルをC1通過させたこと。分解したとしてもさぁ〜

F-4ファントムと自走榴弾砲で竜退治するシーンが好きやった。

私はファントム無頼が好きだったのでファントムVS竜の戦いが小説版の時から大好きです。 なんせ機体番号か680でパイロットとナビが神子田・久里浜🥰

C1の91式レーダーを設計したのは懐かしい思い出。データ取り用パソコンの防振設計でC1内部のパレットの調査もしたから、左右に並んだ例の簡易座席？も見ましたｗ

最後の隊員が「お世話になりました！」って言うのがまた…👍

まさに電光石火ですよね。 この後の翡翠宮へ直進３kmに誘導とかも... このシーンの次くらいにイタリカ防衛戦のキルゴア大佐降臨&城門内30mmG掃射も良かった🥴

自衛隊の描写はとても良いけど自衛隊が実力差ある中ここまで虐殺並の攻撃出来るか？ とは思ってしまう 「そんな細かい事考えるアニメじゃない」とはよく言われるけどさ…

5機を一旦バラして、狭いゲートを陸送して、更に組み立てたってだけでも… 何日必要なんやろ？

これって、空挺団は誰の命令で、何の根拠で武力行使してるの？ 防衛出動ではあり得ないし、敵地に自ら降下してる時点で武器等防護のための武器の使用でもあり得ない。 というか、なろう世界は日本の領土ではないから、PKOで派遣された外国で勝手に戦端開くような、石原莞爾レベルの憲法違反行為では？

「お世話になりました❗」のところ凄く好き

I couldn't get into this anime. It felt like the story had the deep of a poodle and I was just watching propaganda from which I'm not even the target.

I grew up.listening to stories of my grandfather and his drop into Normandy, and this scene always makes me smile. Death from Above.

Gate is cool. My main issue with it, and a lot of fantasy, is how magic is treated. People have a long history of finding ways to put the "physical laws" to work. Why not the magical ones? We would engineer the fuck out of magic. Why aren't they? They even have magic colleges.
