It's not anger, it's like a joking way of signaling "I'm so overwhelmed I can't even handle how amazing this is" Have you ever seen the movie "Mean Girls" when Cady says she's from Africa and Regina goes "shut up!"? It's kind of like that

He is overcome by witnessing its perfection. A part of him is angry that it was not him that created it.

Amongst barbecue purists having things fall off the bone like this means you overcooked it. To people who don't take everything so seriously, ribs that fall off the bone or fall apart are delicious even if it's not "proper." It would be like giving a delicious California roll to a sushi Master who can't stop complaining that it's not proper sushi even if it is delicious.

When something is so perfect you pretend to be offended or upset to emphasize disbelief and amazement of what you just witnessed for comedic effect

When the meat falls off the bone it’s “technically” overcooked, but a lot of us prefer it that way since it melts in your mouth. It’s a way of advertising the meat is so tender, while pretending to be upset because it’s “overdone”

😂😂 Not angry, just joking - the tenderness is proven by the visual evidence. The 'walk-off' essentially means: "Point proven" or "I rest my case" or "no explanation necessary" or "See? I told you so", etc.

The old man is the chef who cooked the meat. He's showing off how tender it is. His reaction is just for humor. He becomes speechless because the meat falls off the bone due to how tender it is. Hence the word "tenderism", which I think this man created. lol

lol, he’s not mad. He’s hyped at how soft the meat is.. it’s just strange way some people show pride in their work

😂 they aren’t mad. Over here in the states we would call that “So good you’d slap yo mama.” It’s a sarcastic/comical over reaction to how perfectly cooked, fall off the bone tender that meat is.

They mad cause it's soooo good. That's how they do. It means it's perfect. It's a good thing. 👍👍👍

It's a cultural thing, mostly among black people in my experience. I would bet that if these videos went on for a little while longer, you'd eventually see them cheering and pointing at the meat, or saying something along the lines of "Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!"

It’s so tender they can’t believe it.

@SheppieOperator It's not anger, Its exaggerated expression of shock, very common behavior with Americans in the south.

It's hard to explain, but I will try. In black American subculture (just from my observation) they do this as a way of expressing shock. In this video, they are relating the shock to extreme satisfaction. Sort of a way to say "I can not believe this is real." But, I imagine a black person can explain this better. The first time I experienced it, I didn't understand what was happening. A black girl was very pleased with something I did and responded with "No, you did not just do that." I thought she was angry and was about to apologize. Then she gave me a hug.

okay I myself can't really explain this without becoming racist so try to bear with me black people when excited/shocked even if they're really happy about it can tend to look upset because they usually have to stand up to ride the shock I don't think he's mad just shocked

Because it makes no damn sense why it's so tender !

We have a saying; “if it is to good to be true, it usually is.” This individual is displaying that with body language. It is a joke. His expression is confirming how awesome the meat is. It is “too good to be true.”

Fall off the bone. Not pissed. Blown away by how perfectly it’s prepared.

They're not. He's more of bragging and telling you, "Look at what I did. That's how you do it." He's a master of his craft. Which is BBQ. We'd call him a pit master. He oversees other people to make sure they make the BBQ right.

These are not Americans, and they are just always pissed off

It’s not anger. They’re baffled by the tenderness…baffled in the best of ways.

It’s part of black American culture. Overreacting in a joking way. They’re just living their best lives, making the most out of minor things in life.

They saw peak and cant believe it
