That tank crew deciding to come alive and draw fire from the bus is what saved humanity. Medal of Honors for all of them.

You know the way the aliens moved and how you could somehow see them do stuff like dragging their wounded or tossing mags to each other was kinda cool, especially with their design which I loved

めっちゃわかります。 エイブラムス戦車の後方から黒煙が出てたのでおそらくエンジンがやられていて 死んだふりをしていたら 友軍のバスが来たので それで援護したんだなぁ… さすが米軍。 味方を見捨てない仲間意識がすごいなぁ と、思いながら映画を見ていました。

This was literally the last hurrah of major blockbuster pro-military movies in the US. Just men and women being brave in the face of terror and death, no-bs, no politics. Kinda miss those dsys

I call bullshit. So unrealistic. I mean, seriously? Nobody ties a shoelace with gloved hands that fast under fire. Nobody. It's just not possible.

I always wondered what the tanks story is, up there on the overpass alone giving the aliens absolute hell until the very end. Went so hard.

The real gem? Dude being able to tie a shoe lace with fucking gloves on 😭

Seeing how useless tanks are usually made out to be in films, this was a nice change of pace

Really nice of the aliens to deploy into a conventional small arms firefight with us, using a tank in this situation feels like cheating NGL Could've absolutely wrecked those alien riflemen, if only we had some 81mm mortars nearby

The crew in that Tank were talkin like the crew from Fury. "No matter what we hold this position"

失礼します 同感です 多分中隊規模だったのでしょうが 単車となっても孤軍奮闘 胸が熱くなるシチュエーションですね。

I think about the first trailer for this movie on a semi regular basis. Kind of wish the move had kept the same tone

I really need more military movies to put some respect on what tanks and heavy machine guns can do.

They were waiting to ambush the landsharks, but when they saw the bus driving down the road, they did their best to hold the line. Even after the tank is destroyed, there's still one dude fighting up front

The tension between the staff sergeant his history and the squad is unnecessary and distracting from the overall plot. Would've been the same and better movie if he was just another staff sergeant fighting the aliens

Am I really the only one that heard staff sarge tell the alien he kills in the pool "I hope you like my planet bc your gonna die here" hardest movie line I ever heard, and it's not even real? Wtf is this place! I don't like it!
