I had a White German Shepherd (sometimes called a Swiss Shepherd) named Cookie. It's hard for me to think of her even now. She got sick, I spent $5,000 on animal hospital bills (including surgery by a specialist) but in the end nothing could be done and I had to put her down. It was almost as hard on me as when my mother died. Here are some old pictures of her. 😢
