よく見たらこの二人武装してなくて、I need a rifle. とか言っててさらにワロタ 無礼講ですか

finally a video better than this one

Full version... If you need it...

One of my coworkers was opfor for an exercise, and his guys ambushed a column. IED to stop the vehicles, the he walks out of the trees lining one side of the road while people were milling about, locates the command vic, and leaves a bag on it. Marshal told the HQ it was dead.

I've done OPFOR a couple times and it's a blast. One of the best thing the OPFOR roleplayers can do is throw unexpected situations at the trainees, like surrendering if they have you cornered and are about to shoot you. I've been on both sides - trainee and OPFOR.

I’ve done it twice in my career. Shit is so much fun. You’re just learning the units posture with a fine tooth come and exploiting discomfort every chance you can.

If I had to choose one job in the army, it’d be OPFOR, shit looks like an absolute blast. Being able to execute asymmetrical warfare and show our guys how not to die seems awesome

@planefag The best part about playing OPFOR is getting to troll the hell out of your fellow Soldiers and not play by the rules.

@planefag Playing OPFOR is the most fun you can ever have.

Last OPFOR I did wasn't fun. Got designated as one of several kidnap victims hidden in a building basement for CQB exercise. Missed everything and then they forgot to get me afterwards. My reward was the last MRE that nobody wanted. 🤮

I did some OPFOR in northern Japan. Those were some awesome days. I even got a near miss from a real 20mm vulcan. I still have that bullet...

Mofo on the technical rockin 2 50s is always hilarious

The Silverado technical! That’s a vibe

Start of the video "Damn~" "They're already dead!" Towards the end, "I need a rifle" in a thick fake accent lol

My funnest OPFOR was waiting for a convoy to pass through in the middle of the night when it was raining. They never did. Best sleep I ever had.

When I was at Ft Campbell my unit (MPs) played OPFOR a lot for the SF guys. From time to time they would bring National Guard/Reserve units to the base for training. We didn’t really ever get anything over on the SF troops, but we didn’t silly shit with the Reservists every time. Frequently we’d just run past them in a pickup & toss arty simulators out while playing a boom box really loud so they didn’t notice the simulators until they exploded. Good times, good times.

had a friend do OPFOR at fort polk after his tours in Afghanistan, he said it was an amazing job

Funnest job I ever had.

Dual 240s? I kinda need that.

Not enough people are talking about the homie running dual M2HBs. I mean it's no quad mount, but boy howdie is he having a good time.

We did a week of this pier side in San Diego. The 'IED' exploding in the 'rioting' crowd with real amputee actors covered in blood was insane. Caught us all off guard. I also got to command a hose team during a 'riot' that made it past our pier watches. I was not expecting the water bottles whizzing by my head. Good times

The role of checkpoints is to control movement and expose the enemy. If enemy wants through it has to expose itself by destroying the checkpoint, however that makes them extremely vulnerable for counter strike and unable to reach worthwhile targets. The CP is shortly back again.

One of the best jobs I had was being an OC-T there at JRTC

Some units go to train and don’t take it seriously, or that was the case when I was in towards the very quiet part of the GWOT. We did OPFOR a few times and anytime we attacked out of scheduled battles we always caught them with their pants down.

Happened to be listening to Snake Eater from the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary album, and got to "I give my life, not for honor but for you" right as the pickup with the mounted machine gun rolled up.

OK. I ran an OPFOR group for 12 years. This video is not good ECP/TCP training. Ugh.

It is a lot of fun. But the guy using the door of the van as 'cover' shows how the weakness of this type of training.

OPFOR is the most fun job in the military...

You on ow the opfor guys are just having a blast!

My brief stint doing OpFor was definitely the highlight of my military career. We even had a guy bring in his own ghillie suit.

Wonder if these guys arr Peoples Republic of Pineland troops during Robin Sage?

My favorite story was the guy that infiltrated the enemy command post armed with nothing but a clipboard and a scowl

reminding me of Oxide's Serbian highway patrol videos lmao

1/509th (ABN). Good times
