By the magic of scene-cuts

This video explains it quite nicely👍

Oh, yeah, I bought a clutch from a reputable Chinese auto parts brand. Every single tooth on the clutch broke after driving just 15 km at 60 km/h. That really shows the quality of "Chinesium."

He couldn't have grabbed it that soon. It would have been to hot to touch. Fake shit.

You can see it in action! When you put ice cubes in the freezer for a long time, they all stick together into one giant ice cube. They never melted, but because of molecular diffusion, they bond into one solid object.

Almost the same way they make carbide inserts pressed from powdered matrix, then heated and censored together into one homogenous piece well almost homogenous

The process is still in progress 2) Sintering: The raw part is fired at a temperature below the metal’s melting point to cause the powder particles to fuse together and gain strength. 3) Calibration, heat treatment, or coating ..

it's not solid until it's heat treated. .it's just compressed into a form .. here is a Child doing the same thing on the beach with sand. now imagine your arm strength pushing that sand into the bucket at 1000's of ft. lbs.. instead of just 1 ft. lb.

This explains why the cheap chinese tools I bough from Lowes crumbled the first time I used it. I didn't even put much force on it at all, just tried ta remove as hand tightened bolt and the first attempt with the brand new wrench, the wrench crumbled to dust.

They skipped a step for the video, after compressing the powder under high pressure the pucks then go to a high temperature furnace to undergo a process called sintering to bond it into a solid piece of metal

they have to sinter the part after the fact. the powder contains a wax like compound that holds the part together, during sintering the part is "welded" to itself and the wax like compound melts out. source: i worked with these types of parts

For small parts it's possible to take metal powered and apply enough pressure to it to fuse it into a form. It still needs post-forming processing to make it 'hard' i guess but ya it's a thing, it happens, it's how things get made.

Also, in vacuum, metal can weld together just sticking together without the oxidation that they get from the earth

You ever grab a fist full of flour and squeeze? Same thing from my assumption

You can made dimond out of a pencil tip

Sintering?

Why would Tesla casting machines have to go through that much hassle then and high temp?🤣🤣

Heat and pressure

I imagine it's the same as turning gold power into gold ingots. I forget the process but Red Nile did a great video demonstrating the process. I could be wrong in my assumption though.

The pressure presses it together, but the act of pressing it also heats the metal to fuse it better. It doesn't get hot enough to actually melt it, but it does a thing called "forge welding" to make it stick together.

El polvo.. YA ES SÓLIDO No se solidifica

😱😱😱

Its molded that way, but oven time is needed to attain streng and firm bond

Under pressure it heats up and fuses

It’s fake
