Dandadan has this way of hitting you with pure chaos and comedy one minute then completely gutting you emotionally the next, and that contrast makes moments like this hit so much harder. It is not just about the visuals or the stakes, it is the weight behind what is actually happening to these characters that lingers long after the episode ends. Very few shows manage that kind of emotional whiplash without it feeling forced. Dandadan just gets it.
