His additional combo enders per Outworld teammate along with his stacking Bleed DoTs were unique in the game at the time. #TreacherousTanya further introduced new dynamics and strategy with her ability to break equipment on unblocked special attacks as well as her team power drain resistance. #AssassinJade brought to mobile another fan favorite absent from MKX’s console release. She proved an especially deadly anniversary addition by not only evading special attacks, but also punishing them with a crippling counterattack. Players encountering her equipped with her Bojutsu Staff were quick to find out that she could wipe entire teams unless battled with only basic attacks and X-Rays. The final new anniversary kombatant, arriving as an Elite Pack exclusive, was #KlassicLiuKang. The first character to have full DoT immunity in addition to healing from Fire DoT, he acted as an immediate foil to prevalent DoT teams. On the exact day of its Golden Jubilee, YOUNG AMERICANS will be issued as a limited edition 50th anniversary half-speed mastered LP and a picture disc LP pressed from the same master. The picture disc comes with a poster of the album cover. The album saw Bowie broaden his musical horizons once more, embracing what he called 'Plastic Soul' and would give Bowie his first number one single in the U.S., ‘FAME’, co-written with John Lennon and Bowie's then guitarist, Carlos Alomar. The album was partly influenced by the 'Philly Sound' and recorded in Philadelphia at Sigma Sound studios during a break in the DIAMOND DOGS tour with a band that featured amongst others Bowie stalwart Mike Garson on keys, along with the late Luther Vandross on vocals and David Sanborn on saxophone. During the Tony Visconti produced sessions at Sigma Sound, Bowie immersed himself in soul music and created a new persona called The Gouster, a slang term for a hip street character. An early version of the album using this title was issued on the boxset WHO CAN I BE NOW? (1974-1976). When the tour recommenced, Bowie radically reworked the setlist to incorporate the new material and stripped the elaborate production of the tour back to reflect a radically new musical direction. At the end of the tour in December ’74, sessions continued at The Record Plant and, while recording in New York, Bowie connected with John Lennon, where they recorded a cover of The Beatles ‘ACROSS THE UNIVERSE’ and a new collaborative composition, ‘FAME’ at Electric Lady Studios. The New York sessions were co-produced by David and Record Plant engineer Harry Maslin. Bowie opted not to tour following YOUNG AMERICANS’ release, and within nine months, had moved on again, releasing his next album, STATION TO STATION, and reinventing himself once again in the persona of The Thin White Duke. Steve Nash on the difference between Miami closing games last year with Jimmy Butler vs this season with the new offense Nash: I think for Miami, they had a focal point in Jimmy Butler. You can run the game through him at the end of games. Now they have a bunch of guys who can take turns in a sense. I think what Spo has done with this offense has been brilliant. Where this offense is great to me is using the full court, spacing out so guys can attack from beyond half court... When the game slows down, its difficult to play a full court game where your spreading the floor just going 1 on 1. Teams are going to load up. The idea of being this equal opportunity offense where you have multiple players who can get it done sounds great but at the end of the game its gotta be simplicity and clarity Wade: It sound good. If you look at Stone Cold, he got really hot and over with the crowd, and then they made him champion. The same is true with every other wrestler in history except for Roman Reigns. They forced him to be on top and to always win over and over and over. When he beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania, he shows up on Raw the next day and they booed him nonstop. Fans just did not want it. I think if we’re gonna give credit where credit’s due, it’s Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman changed the way we all felt about Roman Reigns, and I wonder what his career would look like if it weren’t for Paul Heyman. I’m not saying Roman doesn’t deserve the credit. He’s certainly at the top of the mountain and having great matches and great promos and all that. But when people started to say, ‘Roman’s more important to the history of WWE than Hulk Hogan,’ that’s ridiculous. It’s not even close to true. Great wrestler, great performer. TAYSAN AT THEPOP #THEPOP2026 #Tawan_V #POLCASAN — The origin of POLCASAN 🫍🐻‍❄ 🫍 There was one day I see Bangtan's character and I love it so much, even use their stickers to stick on my stuff. I was like "What if..." I remember it was covid era, I had nothing to do, so I drew my own character cause I wanted it, sun character and such, but I didn't use it for anything in the end. Until one day the company designed a logo for Polca fandom, you know the whale tail and a bear. There was 6-7 options given for TayNew. Turns out me and New chose the same design, which the one we're using right now and we love it so much. TayNew have a really well-defined identity. New is defined as a polar bear, because he's been called as polar bear since long time ago. As for me, like how I always change my name's spelling to be "whale", I really love orca whale. Since we're always known as the polar bear and orca whale, I felt like it really creates a well-defined character on us. Until finally they let us design our own character. They gave us a prompt— Oh, before all of these, we had Polcasan's older brother as well. But he... he... we aborted him. 🎤 Oh, that's so sad. Can anyone comfort Tay right now? He can't handle it. 🫍 No need to comfort me. When I lowered my head just now, I was actually smiling 5555 Just kidding, just kidding. We kept helping each other to develop it continuously until one day when we had to design a character for our couple. I was so happy since I love drawing and stuff. I still remember that day, they had us sitting in a room with paper, pencils, and colors, and then we helped each other to design. As I love drawing, I did the drawing while new helped in adding extra touches. We agreed that it had to be half bear and half whale, right? So at first, because we wanted to share it equally, we drew it as an exact half and half. San had no legs, he only had a whale tail, making him looked like a mermaid instead. And then, New came up with the name Polcasan. 🎤 So K'New was the one who came up with the name? 🫍 Yes. 🎤 K'Tay was the one who designed it? 🫍 Well, we helped each other, we helped each other. But I did most of the outline and such since I kinda have skill in drawing. 🎤 I see. So you gave extra attention from the tiny little detail to the overall picture, right? 🫍 Yes, but it was just 2D design when we first drew it. I remember after drawing, we even wishing for a good soul or spirit to come and be born into our son's body or something like that... 🎤 To that extent! 🫍 It was just our random joke and talking, we didn't expect it would actually happen because we didn't know they would actually turn it into a real mascot. There was a small problem before he was turned into a physical mascot, because our character didn't have legs. So Granpa Tha was like, "Alright, we need to miraculously create legs for San so he can walk." since San was in a mermaid form, so it would be like... 🎤 We almost got to see Nong Sang rolling around. 🫍 Yeah, that's why he became a version of San that has legs. We helped each other developing it.
