While Western cultures were built to protect women, Islam treats them as property—selling girls as child brides, forcing them into marriage, and condemning them to lives of suffering and control. Every year, thousands of women are murdered by their families in so-called “honor killings.” In most cases, these murders are not treated as serious crimes because they align with Islamic teachings.
