Kito is pure charm! Born just last week, this precocious little sprite is already winning hearts. Lucky for her, she has two protective big sisters, Kama and Kaia, to show her the ropes and spoil her endlessly. Kito represents hope for the future. Her mother, Kinna, was rescued as a newborn in 1999 and raised through our Orphans’ Project. For your baby, play and learning are one and the same. And here’s a great example. This little one, shared to IG by aylinkababy, is exploring cause and effect. As she opens and closes her hand, she flicks the heart shaped bead - causing it to spin on its axis. It’s not just a lesson on how the toy itself works, but a lesson in agency. She’s learning how her own actions can make things happen in the world. (It’s also providing a fantastic opportunity to develop her fine motor skills, as she’s required to strike her fingers against the toy in just the right place to achieve her desired spinning result.) Developmentally, children typically begin exploring cause and effect at around 4 months. And cause and effect toys are a great option, beginning around this age. While this video highlights the spinning bead at its center, note that this toy offers several such opportunities. Shaken it will make a rattling sound. I have received video and audio of Hawks Akshaf Ashfaq, (nephew of diplomatic passport holder Hawks Ashraf and Hawks Aman). The video shows Akshaf attacking a woman he dated, inside a car on a Malaysian highway. She films it and tries to get out. After the incident in the car, he became extremely angry and called her later that night, threatening her with highly abusive language. The audio recording captures that call. He also assaulted her in front of her children too. He manipulated her, then began abusing her and later raped her. Thank God she’s got away from him now. People, women, need to see these footages and audio, that’s why I’m sharing it now. That is not the end of it. He also groomed a 12 year old child when he was 18 (I have photos of them as well). He continues to harass her (now she is an adult), repeatedly finding her contact details, calling her and even threatening her. Many women who have been involved with / dated members of the Hawks family are aware of these issues and later try to distance themselves. Previously I have brought you info about how Aman snaps 16 year and 17 year old boys and invites them to his apartment saying he'll teach them how to do business transactions smartly and also to show his car. He's done this to at least two minors, this happened 2 years ago, around 2023 and 2024. They were 16 and 17. And today I brought to you about how Hawks Ashraf hit a flight attendant inside Batik flight on its way to Male' and how he was arrested upon arrival and how police released him cause he had a diplomatic passport and cause he's PNC. Media outlets are not yet ready to share these stories with the public and we know why.

Mzinga went wandering down memory lane last night! Our nanny extraordinaire was so absorbed by escorting tiny Kipekee home that she bypassed her current stockade and made a beeline for her former baby stable — which is now occupied by young Olomunyak! A milk bottle held by Keeper Simon set her back on course to her rightful bedroom. Every elephant here is an orphan. They are in the first stage of their journey with us, the Nairobi Nursery. In time, they will graduate to a Reintegration Unit, where they will learn how to live as wild elephants. Starting at $50/£35 a year, can become part of their ongoing story through an adoption:

I received with profound grief and deep sorrow, the heartbreaking news of the untimely transition to glory of Eng. Anne J. Cheboi, one of the recently appointed members of the PPP Tribunal, following a short illness that she battled with courage. Her untimely demise is a monumental loss to the Public Private Partnerships sector, the Engineering fraternity, and the broader institutional framework supporting infrastructure governance, commercial justice, and investment facilitation within our country. She distinguished herself as an exceptionally energetic, focused, and intellectually astute professional whose commitment to learning, service, and institutional excellence became evident from the very beginning of her tenure. Her engagements consistently reflected diligence, clarity of thought, admirable composure, and a remarkable readiness to deepen her understanding of the evolving PPP ecosystem and its strategic importance to national development. Even within a relatively short period of service, she demonstrated immense promise, professional maturity, and a genuine passion for public duty. She carried herself with grace, discipline, and purpose, while continually exhibiting a collaborative spirit and a deep appreciation of the responsibility entrusted to the Tribunal. Her contribution, presence, and potential had already begun enriching the institution and strengthening confidence in the integrity and effectiveness of PPP dispute resolution mechanisms. This morning, she was mourned and laid to rest, in a painful scene that reflects the harsh reality we are living. I cannot comprehend how we have come to lose one another to cold and hunger in such a tragic way.
