#WATCH | Delhi: On meeting Rahul Gandhi during over Congress's protest at Lok Kalyan Marg, Union Minister Jitendra Singh says, "It was learned that Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge and other senior leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and other had suddenly started a protest. It was also reported that the place was not very conducive to a sit-in protest. It was causing significant inconvenience to the public. The government decided that I, along with the Union Home Secretary, would go to the site and meet with these senior leaders. We went with the idea that we would politely present our point of view and argue that a discussion with the government would be better. However, upon arriving, Rahul Gandhi urged us that if the government agreed to a discussion in Parliament on NEET and related education issues, he would immediately end the protest. I asked him this question not once but two or three times... Discussions were held with the top leadership of the government, and we were told to assure them on behalf of the government that the government has no objection. The government is ready to discuss NEET in Parliament, both related issues and the ongoing protests. When we raised this issue with Rahul Gandhi, he said, "I also want the Education Minister to resign." We replied, "when you were repeatedly asked what you demanded, you said that if you were assured that the government would allow the Congress Party to discuss the matter in Parliament, or that you were willing to do so, I would immediately end this protest. But now you are going back on your word." He replied, "Sir, this is my wish. My demands have changed." We replied, "This is not fair, you are changing the goalpost." He replied, "This is my wish." We then politely explained to him that it is unbecoming of a senior leader like you, who is also the Leader of the Opposition, to go back on your word in a matter of moments. When the government is saying it's ready for a discussion in Parliament, not just on this issue but on all other related topics, he said, "No, sir, we'll sit here. You can take us away." We said, "I came to discuss this with you. I didn't intend to take you away, very politely. I just came to make this request. But it seems you're not in the mood to find a solution through the media." He said, "You can draw your own conclusions. I'll do what I want..." It's very unfortunate that the LoP behaves this way, changing his stance so quickly. This means he's in a mood of conflict. He doesn't want to cooperate with the government to discuss or advance public interest issues. They've come with the intention of confrontation, conflict, and finding an issue... And as far as the government is concerned, you remember the Prime Minister made it very clear today that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the NEET exam and paper leaks, and is already being taken. Many people have also been detained. This is an issue that has affected almost every state in the country, and we will not allow or tolerate injustice against our children. Despite this, if the opposition and the Leader of the Opposition are unwilling to cooperate, I'm sure the people of the country are watching."

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED BY PDP GOVERNORS' FORUM AFTER ITS 2025/4TH MEETING HELD IN IBADAN ON MONDAY, APRIL 15, 2025 The Peoples Democratic Party Governors' Forum (PDPGF) PDP Governors' Forum held its 2025/4th Meeting in Ibadan, Oyo State, and resolved the following; 1.Noting the nationwide speculations about possible merger of political parties, groups and/or associations, the Forum resolved that the Official PDP Nigeria will not join any coalition or merger. However, the PDP as a major opposition party welcomes any party, persons or groups that are willing to join it with a view to wrestling power and enthroning good leadership in 2027. 2.The Forum reiterates its position taken in Asaba on the issue of the National Secretary of the party, but in the wake of the Supreme Court judgment, Forum resolved to recommend that the Deputy National Secretary acts as National Secretary, pending the nomination and ratification of a Substantive Secretary from the South East Zone and NEC respectively at its next meeting. 3.The Forum reasserts our collective determination to avert a rape of our constitutional democracy hence the decision of approaching the Supreme Court to give a clear cut verdict on the interpretation of the provisions of the law on the declaration of State of Emergency in any state. The Forum restates its solidarity with His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on the ordeal into which his state and people are being plunged by the declaration of a state of emergency. And we reiterate our commitment to stand with him till the end. 4. The Forum finds alarming the worsening security situation in the country, as evidenced in parts of the country especially Borno, Plateau, Katsina and Edo States. The Forum calls for review and reordering of priorities and strategies including adopting a bottom up template that guarantees the sub-nationals to constitute an effective line of defence against security breaches. While raising the concerns above, we condemn the recent attacks in Plateau State, and commiserate with the government and people of the state especially those who lost their lives and properties during this unfortunate mishap. 5. The Forum resolves that working in conjunction with the National Working Committee (NWC) and other relevant organs of the party, to hold a NEC Meeting on the 27th of May, 2025; constitute a Zoning Committee that will address all issues relating to zoning of party offices and hold an early convention in August 2025, precisely on the 28th, 29th and 30th in the ancient city of Kano. 6. The Forum equally recommends the constitution of the Zoning and National Convention Committees for ratification by the NWC and NEC as follows; Zoning Committee: Gov. Douye Diri โ€“ Chairman; Gov. VIDEO: Trinidad City Council fires municipal judge who dropped charge against police protestor FOX 4 NEWS ... TRINIDAD, Texas - Trinidad City Council members fired the city's municipal judge after she dismissed charges against a protestor, but the water issues the city has been experiencing were not discussed during Thursday's city council meeting. It was the first time Trinidad's city council had met since two people, Jennifer Combs and Winston Noles, were arrested for speaking about the water issues the city is experiencing. Combs has since filed a lawsuit against the city, as have Alex Estrada and Colby Reyes, two former Trinidad employees who say they were wrongfully terminated in connection to Noles' protest. C.J. Grisham, an attorney representing Combs, spoke directly to Trinidad Police Chief Charles Gregory, telling him: "You have dishonored your badge, this department, and every good officer who wears one." Gregory, who made his first public comments since FOX 4 initially reported on the story, said he has "nothing to hide." "I donโ€™t care anymore. Iโ€™ve kept my mouth shut for a long time now. News, are you listening? I want everybody to let me speak," Gregory said. "He made a comment on the news that he wanted the Texas Rangers to come in here and investigate โ€” I welcome them because I have nothing to hide." Gregory was referring to Trinidad Mayor Dennis Haws, who had previously suggested the Texas Rangers investigate the city's issues. During the meeting, the city also voted to fire Municipal Judge Shellena Bivens, who had dropped the charge against Noles last week. "I will reiterate to the whole world watching now. Iโ€™ve been a good judge," Bivens said. "A damn good judge, I believe, is what I told yโ€™all last time. Iโ€™ve done nothing illegal, immoral, unethical." The water issues at the heart of this story that are still affecting Trinidad residents were not brought up at the meeting. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) confirmed to FOX 4 it received a complaint regarding the water quality in Trinidad, and that an investigation is ongoing. The law firm representing Estrada and Consumer Wellness Center Labs are organizing free independent water testing for people on Trinidad's water supply as the TCEQ investigation continues. The drama at the city council meeting comes after several weeks of arrests and lawsuits stemming from water quality concerns in Trinidad. On May 20, FOX 4 reported that Combs was charged with felony false alarm by the Trinidad Police Department after making an April Facebook post concerning the city's water issues. Her post stated that people had been hospitalized after drinking the city's water. Gregory responded by saying Combsโ€™ post "creates fear, panic, or unnecessary emergency response within a community." A Henderson County grand jury declined to indict Combs, who has since filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Trinidad and Gregory which alleges she was arrested in "an act of deliberate political retaliation." One day after FOX 4's initial report, Noles protested outside Trinidad City Hall with a sign with expletives targeting "bad cops." Noles was arrested and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct for the sign. A municipal judge has since dismissed the charges against Noles. On Wednesday, May 27, two former Trinidad employees filed a lawsuit against the city, claiming the city administrator fired them without cause. Reyes, the former Trinidad Water Clerk, says in the lawsuit that she was fired because she "refused to lie" on behalf of Gregory and City Administrator Cynthia Dosier. Reyes' lawsuit claims Gregory publicly fabricated a story that Reyes was frightened by Noles last week in order to arrest him, in which Reyes says she put in writing she was "never offended" by Noles. They just we announced a few weeks ago, or maybe more, a prisoner exchange mechanism between M23 and the DRC government. In fact, this morning I had the privilege of meeting the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross. This agreement is between the March 23 Movement and the DRC government, but facilitated by the International Red Cross Committee, and it was concluded in Doha. So there are good advances and progress happening in Doha. We first had a Declaration of Principle. Then we saw this prisoner exchange. We're also working on several confidence-building measures. But regarding obstacles to this process, you know, it's an internal dialogue. It's a conflict. We must address the root causes of the conflict. Both parties have agreed to tackle the root causes in the July 12 declaration of principle. I believe there are 9 major work axes, and some may take time some a few weeks. For example, government issues, governance, decentralization, and many other details of that nature, as well as the integration or reintegration of M23 fighters from other groups. Regarding some being integrated into the DRC army and others into local government forms. These are complex questions; some could be constitutional. So it does take time. However, we have a draft text, so much work has already been done. And again, Qatar has played an enormous role here. We're advancing the draft text, working on the final project.

๐ŸšจOperation Azm-e-Istehkam Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved a reinvigorated & re-energised national counter-terrorism campaign through launch of Operation #Azm_e_Istehkam General Syed Asim Munir #COAS, Air Chief, DG ISI, DG ISPR, DGMO, DGMI attend the high level meeting. The approval was granted during meeting of the Central Apex Committee on National Action Plan that was held in Islamabad chaired by PM Shehbaz Sharif. The decision was taken with consensus of all stakeholders including the Provinces, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, symbolizing the national resolve to eradicate extremism and terrorism from the country. The forum conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign and assessed the internal security situation. The progress on the multi-domain tenets of the National Action Plan was scrutinized, with particular emphasis on identifying shortcomings in the implementation for addressing the same at top priority. It underscored the necessity for a comprehensive and reinvigorated counter-terrorism strategy, founded on complete national consensus and system-wide synergy. Azm-e-Istehkam will integrate and synergize multiple lines of effort to combat the menaces of extremism and terrorism in a comprehensive and decisive manner. In the politico- diplomatic domain, efforts will be intensified to curtail the operational space for terrorists through regional cooperation. The renewed and full blown kinetic efforts of the armed forces will be augmented by full support from all Law Enforcement Agencies, empowered by effective legislation to address legal voids that hinder effective prosecution of terrorism-related cases and award of exemplary punishments to them. The campaign will be duly complemented by socioeconomic measures aimed at addressing genuine concerns of the people and creating an environment that discourages extremist tendencies. Yesterday, I was in Ikot Ekpene to attend the South-South Zonal Public Hearing on Constitutional Amendment being undertaken by the 10th Senate Committee on Constitutional Amendment, of which I am a member representing Bayelsa State. I was asked by the Senate leadership to chair the session, being the Chairman of the South-South Caucus of the Senate. In my remarks, I thanked the Governor, the government, and the good people of Akwa Ibom State for their warm reception and hospitality. I also thanked the Senate President for finding time to be present at the event and delivering a unifying speech. Additionally, I thanked all the various representatives, traditional rulers, and groups that were present. I reiterated in my remarks what I have always said โ€” that, firstly, the South-South needs to come together and adopt a unified position, and that the multiplicity of nationalities, cultures, and languages in our zone should not be a disadvantage, but should be harnessed for the common good. I told them how our past leaders started a tradition of coming together in our zone to defy cultural and linguistic differences. They did this since pre-independence. I spoke of the legacies of Dappa-Biriye, Udo Udoma, Arikpo, Eyo Ita, Mariere, Osadebe, Okilo, Isong, Wayas, Obi Wali, Dafinone, Zuofa, Esuene, Ogbemudia, Diete-Spiff, and several others, and more recently, Pa Edwin Clark, who continued that tradition by setting up PANDEF. I recalled the contributions of all our pioneer governors and National Assembly legislators since 1999 โ€” Their Excellencies Obong Attah, Odili, the late Alamieyeseigha, Ibori, Donald Duke, Igbinedion, and Jonathan, who came together to champion issues that affect us, from resource control to environmental degradation, etc. I enjoined the current set of governors to continue this tradition, and do more. I assured the Senate President that the Zonal Caucus will support and work with him to do all that is in the interest of the zone. As he knows, he and I have not agreed, and may not agree on everything, but we have worked together on many issues affecting our people. I spoke about our common work on the Tax Reform Bills, which I was one of the most strenuous supporters of. I also highlighted the efforts we made on the establishment of the South-South Development Bill, even though, I must say that when it came to appointments and other decisions, I was not involved, being an opposition leader. That, notwithstanding, I and the Zonal Caucus, alongside our colleagues in the House of Representatives will work with him to ensure that the historic injustices, imbalances, and inequities are addressed, not just for the South-South people, but for the country. I also discussed Bayelsa's case โ€” my full support and that of the Bayelsa Caucus, for redressing the inequity in Bayelsa state regarding the number of Local Governments. We cannot be the only state in the country with only 8 Local Government Areas, while we have a landmass that is four times and more than that of some other states. The Bayelsa Caucus โ€” my colleagues, stepped out with me to make the oral presentation. I have spoken with the Governor and asked him to consult with critical stakeholders in the state to harmonize our position on the establishment of Local Government Areas and forward the same soonest. The advice I gave everyone is this: I do not believe in shifting or changing ancient landmarks. Leadership must build on the foundations we have inherited. It is not everything we change just because we are in a position to do so. Societies do not work that way. That was why, as Governor, critical decisions about the state, such as reforms of traditional institutions, civil service reform, employment and recruitment, security decisions, scholarships, Ijaw nationalism, the anthem, flag, coat of arms, etc., were not politicized. Decisions were taken in the interest of all, after extensive consultations.

Police called after Ontario township residents record council meeting Censorship reigns in the Township of North Huron: recording council meetings is prohibited under penalty of law! The Ontario Township of North Huron is indeed located in the Dominion of Canada. But one is forgiven for thinking that this municipality is actually situated in the Democratic Peopleโ€™s Republic of Korea. Thatโ€™s because this council loves censorship. Indeed, check out this egregious example of bylaw overreach when it comes to council meetings: โ€œAt a Meeting of Council or a Committee, the use of cameras, electric lighting equipment, flash bulbs, recording equipment, television cameras and any other device of a mechanical, electronic or similar nature used for transcribing or recording proceedings by auditory or visual means by the public, including accredited or other news media whatsoever, will not be permitted. Only audio and/or video recording devices operated by the Township shall be allowed during a meeting.โ€ Oh well, so much for freedom of the press... But get this: when Rebel News paid a visit to a council meeting earlier this week, we asked the reeve and councilors what the ostensible policy reason was for such censorship. Itโ€™s a fair question. But shockingly, nobody would provide an answer! And this council is very serious about shutting down โ€œillicitโ€ recording should anyone have the temerity to violate the ban. Thatโ€™s because council will dial 9-1-1 and actually have constituents charged by the Ontario Provincial Police. The offence? Trespassing. No, seriouslyโ€ฆ And thatโ€™s exactly what happened last Monday to Stephen Hill (who prefers to go by his nickname of Buck) and Brad Carther. Buck, who operates the restaurant Buck & Joโ€™s in Wingham, has been a thorn in the side of council for years now. Buck and Brad donโ€™t mince words when it comes to complaining about issues ranging from the condition of the townโ€™s cenotaph to overflowing garbage cans. And this has made them persona non grata at council meetings. But why? Shouldnโ€™t elected representatives have the fortitude to handle prickly comments and questions? Apparently not in North Korea โ€“ er, we mean North Huron. Buck says he and Brad were frog-marched out of the Jan. 12 council meeting by two OPP officers. Buck was outraged, stating: โ€œI was not violent, did not speak, did not interrupt, and did not make any noise. There was no allegation of disorderly conduct made against me at any time. According to councilโ€™s own official minutes, the only reason given for removing me was a suspicion that I was recording.โ€ Buck insists he wasnโ€™t recording, but even if he was โ€“ so what? Why should it be verboten to record a public council meeting in Canada? At the Feb. 2 council meeting (which Rebel News attended) Buck and Brad openly recorded the meeting. After refusing to stop, the OPP were once again called. The duo was again escorted out of council chambers, placed in police cruisers, and were presented with trespassing tickets. It was dรฉjร  vu all over again โ€“fitting given that last Monday was Groundhog Day. It was downright surreal. Especially since others in the room were recording, including myself and Lincoln Jay (who, thankfully, were not arrested.) Brad and Buck vow to fight their tickets in court. But in the bigger picture, we believe the Township of North Huron is on thin ice. Thatโ€™s because the Justice Centre of Constitutional Freedoms (Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms) has picked up this case. Hours prior to Mondayโ€™s contentious council meeting, lawyer Darren Leung sent Reeve Paul Heffer and all members of council a three-page letter urging them to cease and desist. Wrote Leung: โ€œThe prohibition on recording is unconstitutional and must be rescinded immediately.โ€ Alas, for now, the council has shown zero indication that it will respect the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Our take? This is a losing proposition for the Township of North Huron. Indeed, the day after the council meeting, the JCCF issued a press release declaring victory regarding the same censorious shenanigans that were occurring in Whitby, Ont. States the JCCF: โ€œThe Town of Whitby has amended its by-law to allow members of the public to record council and committee meetings, following a legal warning that the Townโ€™s recording ban violated freedom of expression protected by the Charterโ€ฆ Constitutional lawyer Darren Leung said, โ€˜Recording public meetings is a basic aspect of transparency and democratic accountability, and it is protected by section 2(b) of the Charter. Allowing recording so long as it does not disrupt proceedings is a reasonable and constitutional approach.โ€™โ€ The question now arises: will the Township of North Huron do the right thing and put an end to its censorious ways? In an key move to enhance commuter safety in Outer Ring Road (ORR), the administration will be rolling out a comprehensive set of robust and proactive measures. As part of this initiative, a crucial coordination meeting was held on Tuesday at the TGICCC, chaired by Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS. Transport Department Commissioner Sri Ilambarthi, IAS, HMDA Urban Forestry Director Sri VSNV Prasad, IFS, along with representatives from NHAI, GHMC, HGCL, and IRB Infra, as well as Traffic DCPs and Additional DCPs from the Cyberabad, Malkajgiri, and Future City Commissionerates, participated in the meeting and held extensive discussions. Initially, representatives from the ORR maintenance agency, IRB, gave a PowerPoint presentation detailing the measures currently being implemented for road safety. Speaking on the occasion, Hyderabad CP Sri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, emphasised that rather than reacting after an accident occurs, many lives can be saved through proactive preventive measures. He instructed that utmost priority must be given to road safety on this route, which witnesses an average daily traffic of 2.80 lakh vehicles. Noting that an average of five to six accidents are currently occurring every day, he urged the officials to work in coordination and take steps to bring this number down to zero. He suggested that violators of traffic rules should not only be issued challans but also be provided with special counseling. Furthermore, he recommended that safety messages should be sent to the mobile phones of commuters as they enter the ORR. The CP directed officials to take measures to reduce response times during emergencies and recommended utilizing the services of traffic marshals if necessary. He made it clear that vehicles must not be stopped on the ORR under any circumstances, except in the event of a breakdown. If stopping is unavoidable, commuters must immediately inform the helpline, ensure adequate safety precautions, and park the vehicle exclusively in the extreme left lane. Analysing the statistics from the past four months, he pointed out that 33% of accidents occurred due to drowsiness/sleep deprivation, 25% due to reckless driving, 15% due to overspeeding, and 14% due to tire bursts. He explained that these accidents could be prevented by creating extensive awareness among motorists. He also advocated for data driven safety enhancement measures and implementing a safety ranking protocol for expressways. Subsequently, Transport Department Commissioner Shri Ilambarthi, IAS, stated that their department is taking all necessary measures to curb accidents. These include increase in CCTV penetration, implementation of recent Supreme Court guidelines and various other measures. He mentioned that directives have already been issued to officials to place special emphasis on inspecting vehicle fitness and tire quality. A few days ago, at the meeting of the Senate Committee on Local Content, I had cause to recuse myself when I got to know that it was an investigative hearing summoned to investigate allegations of diversion of $14.8m against the former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva. As I explained, I attended believing it was an interactive forum with the Executive Secretary and his team. When I discovered that the hearing was specifically summoned for that purpose, I raised objectionsโ€”firstly, on the ground that there should be no selective inquiry; that the entirety of the management of the fund, perhaps from inception, should be investigated, if at all, and not just one transaction. While the committee has the powers to decide what to investigate, I feel that this approach is too selective, especially bearing in mind that it is public knowledge that the EFCC has already taken steps โ€” meaning they have investigated and reached a certain level. I thought the Committee need not investigate that particular transaction, even though it has the powers to do so. I recused myself because the person affected is a former governor of my state โ€” my predecessor in office, and I have a policy of not joining to fight or pull down anyone. I am not like other politicians from my area or the typical politicians in Nigeria who celebrate the downfall of opponents and people they disagree with. The person concerned and I have been on different ends, leading different tendencies in various political battles in my state since 2011 till date. While we do not meet or speak or pursue any common political agenda, and we have not been in the same party since 2011, I do not practise politics that involves pulling people down or contributing to their problems. I have always limited political contest to campaigns during elections, where I outplan, out-campaign, strategize, and defeat them on the ground and through legal processes, but never by trying to bring anyone down after elections. As part of this policy I have extended support and encouragement to all who operate at the federal level in spite of political or partisan differences, knowing that if political interests do not align until elections, we will then resolve such differences at the polls. As I have always told our people, โ€œwe are fewโ€; everyone is important. If you cannot help someone, leave the person alone, and don't destroy them. That has been my policy, which I have practised and taught for several years. As I have always maintained, I am in politics for service to God and man โ€” I build, I raise, I develop, I defend; I don't destroy or pull down. I know that they donโ€™t treat me the same way. When they are in a position to bring me down, they don't spare anything to achieve that goal, but to the glory of God, they have not succeeded so far, and God is still on His throne. I know these are very trying times, particularly for the people affected, and I do not intend to add to anyoneโ€™s problems. It is God who has always fought my battles and has ensured that my opponents, despite all they do using federal power or federal might, blackmail or propaganda, incitements, in spite of all these, they have not defeated my tendency till date. Even when all the major political figures unite against me, backed by federal might and greater resources, they still lose, as my politics is achored on God and the support and prayers of men โ€” not on violence, destruction and pulling people down or celebrating their misfortune and downfall. The previous government created this mess by focusing specifically on the OBC category. We have rectified that error by introducing a bill in the Assembly. They asked if we canโ€™t see that there is a difference between national interest and personal interest. I felt so humiliated when they started talking about the number of poor citizens that China lifted out of poverty every year. In Zimbabwe we can only talk about the number of citizens that ZANUPF has impoverished annually. We donโ€™t even have a working radiotherapy cancer treatment machine in the whole country. The biggest hospital only has ONE working maternity theatre. We have a ministerial cabinet that canโ€™t think beyond its nose, and that has no gravitas or world view at all, and you still wonder why Zimbabwe is the sick man of the Southern African region? I belong to the Tutu Fellowship/African Leadership Institute, and in our fellowship we have ministers and ambassadors from various African countries. These are very sharp Africans! One of them who was recently appointed as ICT minister in Nigeria spent his time as an entrepreneur before the appointment hanging out with people like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, yet Mnangagwa appointed an actress from a drama TV series called Studio 263 as Zimbabweโ€™s ICT๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ What will she discuss with Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg? We really should stop this nonsense of talking up how educated we are, it is a myth. This exchange during Senate Estimates with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) sums up just how bad Estimates has become under the Albanese Labor Government. The TGA is well aware that Senators only have a few minutes to ask questions, and they understand that the more they can stall, the less likely it is theyโ€™ll have to say anything that could cause problems for their Ministerโ€”regardless of the truth. Because of this, the Minister will not require the "witness" to answer the question, nor will the Committee Chairโ€”both of whom are Labor Senators. My first question was a genuine attempt to clarify misinformation circulating online about aluminium intake. The answer was a simple "yes." Keep that in mind when you watch the video. Instead of confirming the obvious and allowing us to move on to another question about aluminium in vaccines, the opportunity was taken to stall for time by debating whether the question should even be asked at all. Dr. Lawler, Deputy Secretary of the Health Products Regulation Group within the Department of Health, oversees the agencies and committees the Government uses to spread responsibility, avoiding accountability. He was exactly the right person to direct these questions to. The data I presented was straightforward: the level of aluminium in vaccines is unsafe for infants by an order of magnitude. Yet the TGA spent a great deal of time on their pre-prepared responses insisting that vaccines are safe. They refuse to accept any data showing that this level of exposure is causing health issues in infants. I then asked whether our vaccines had been subject to gold standard testingโ€”a term used on many occasions by "witnesses" attending Estimates to defend COVID vaccines - yet suddenly, the gold standard is no longer relevant to ... vaccines! Suddenly, testing a product against a double-blind placebo (saline) is now considered "unsafe," despite this being the standard for a century? In reality, what Big Pharma has been doing for yearsโ€”and what the TGA has allowed them to do in Australiaโ€”is to compare new vaccines (or medications for that matter) against existing ones, rather than saline. If the harm detected is the same as that already being caused by the "placebo" medication, it's deemed safe. This is not how things should be. This exchange during Senate Estimates with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) sums up just how bad Estimates has become under the Albanese Labor Government. The TGA is well aware that Senators only have a few minutes to ask questions, and they understand that the more they can stall, the less likely it is theyโ€™ll have to say anything that could cause problems for their Ministerโ€”regardless of the truth. Because of this, the Minister will not require the "witness" to answer the question, nor will the Committee Chairโ€”both of whom are Labor Senators. My first question was a genuine attempt to clarify misinformation circulating online about aluminium intake. The answer was a simple "yes." Keep that in mind when you watch the video. Instead of confirming the obvious and allowing us to move on to another question about aluminium in vaccines, the opportunity was taken to stall for time by debating whether the question should even be asked at all. Dr. Lawler, Deputy Secretary of the Health Products Regulation Group within the Department of Health, oversees the agencies and committees the Government uses to spread responsibility, avoiding accountability. He was exactly the right person to direct these questions to. The data I presented was straightforward: the level of aluminium in vaccines is unsafe for infants by an order of magnitude. Yet the TGA spent a great deal of time on their pre-prepared responses insisting that vaccines are safe. They refuse to accept any data showing that this level of exposure is causing health issues in infants. I then asked whether our vaccines had been subject to gold standard testingโ€”a term used on many occasions by "witnesses" attending Estimates to defend COVID vaccines - yet suddenly, the gold standard is no longer relevant to ... vaccines! Suddenly, testing a product against a double-blind placebo (saline) is now considered "unsafe," despite this being the standard for a century? In reality, what Big Pharma has been doing for yearsโ€”and what the TGA has allowed them to do in Australiaโ€”is to compare new vaccines (or medications for that matter) against existing ones, rather than saline. If the harm detected is the same as that already being caused by the "placebo" medication, it's deemed safe. This is not how things should be. He was free to come and go as he pleased in nearby Oshawa; no address was made public (presumably because Ray is entitled to privacy.) Notably, Ray is currently serving a life-sentence for first-degree murder. This monster raped, tortured, and murdered 14-year-old Darren Pippin in 1987 in Toronto. Despite being set free, he is still deemed to be a high-risk offender. Unbelievable. So it was that at the March 9th Town of Whitby (Town of Whitby, ON) council meeting, Leahy proposed the following motion: โ€œRequest for the federal government to notify municipalities when high-risk offenders are authorized for unescorted temporary absences.โ€ While attending the council meeting, we learnt of another interesting story. Namely, at a previous council meeting, Leahy introduced a motion that wouldโ€™ve prevented the Town of Whitby from awarding contracts to companies that are participating in the federal Temporary Foreign Worker Program. The liberals on council had a meltdown. Indeed, the motion was ruled out of order by Mayor Mayor Elizabeth Roy in a committee-of-the-whole meeting. Roy claimed this was based on a legal opinion indicating that the town would face โ€œliability issuesโ€ if the motion were to go ahead. How so? Stop asking impolite questions, will you? Indeed, rookie councillor Victoria @_Bozinovski flipped her wig that the Temporary Foreign Worker Program was even raised in the first place. In an unhinged rant, she described Leahyโ€™s motion as โ€œgarbage โ€ฆ xenophobic โ€ฆ racistโ€. Now, thatโ€™s harshโ€ฆ After the March meeting wrapped at 11 p.m., I tried to scrum Bozinovski to find out why she felt so strongly about the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Her response? She literally ran away and sicโ€™d her security thug on me. Oh well, you win some, you lose some and the idea of an elected official being unaccountable is about as newsworthy as reporting that thereโ€™s salt water in the Atlantic Ocean. But when I awakened the next morning, I found that a smear campaign against myself and Rebel News had been concocted overnight. The journalist uses โ€œcouncillorsโ€ plural. Thatโ€™s odd, because the only other councillors we spoke with that night were Leahy and Steve Yamada โ€“ and they were happy to be interviewed. And unlike Bozinovski, they are not cowards who run away from questions. Again, please check out our previous reports for video evidence. But seriously, accusing an independent media reporter as an intimidating harasser for merely asking an elected representative a question? Really? Bottom line: what we witnessed was a conspiracy orchestrated by politicians, the mainstream media, and law enforcement. The goal was to smear myself and Rebel News. And the screw job was built on an outrageous lies and complete fabrications. But the video evidence proves we did nothing wrong and that Bozinovski is a cowardly liar. It would be great if the chair of Transparency International, Anne Tolley, had to answer questions about transactions which have contributed to local rate increases. In my honest opinion, decision-making under the tenure of the commissioners has raised concerns. For example, public land was sold below market value on terms favourable to buyers over broader interests of ratepayers. In contrast, private land was purchased above or at market value often with favourable terms to the seller, raising questions about the cost and value to ratepayers. I made this LGOIMA request this morning stemming from the Council's Public Meeting. I would like to thank the new Council and the mayor for being far more transparent than the former unelected (but selected) Commissioners: Hi The Local Government Act 2002 promotes transparency, accountability, and democratic local government. The Auditor General stated in 2021 that: โ€œPublic accountability is about public organisations demonstrating to Parliament and the public their competence, reliability, and honesty in their use of public money and other public resourcesโ€ Accordingly, I am making a request under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (โ€œLGOIMAโ€) regarding the property at 160 to 176 Devonport Road, Tauranga (โ€œthe Propertyโ€). Second Valuation At the Councilโ€™s public meeting on 3 March 2025 (โ€œMarch Council Meetingโ€), the Mayor stated in regard to the Property that: โ€œThe thing that disappoints me โ€ฆ but it is that it is another example where we have paid towards the top of the range of what we could have paid. You know, I think, we have heard today that potentially HOBEC [Holland Beckett Lawyers] pulled out of it cos it wasnโ€™t economic to do a development and, its, again we have underestimated the asbestos costs of removing a building. Potentially we have underestimated the geotech issues we are going to have with the site. We have been through this with 90 Devonport Road where we sold an asset for a similar value and had to reduce it to make it work. Yet we have decided to pay the $10,000,000.00 and I am sure we are not going to get back from the vendors the extra to make this work financially. So, I get we bought this as a strategic asset, but we need to look at our processes more. We need to do our due diligence properly and we need to start paying market values for properties not above and I know we have one valuation that justifies this cost but the other one doesnโ€™t back that up. I think that going forward that value for money piece is that we need to get a bit smarter with some of these transactions that we doโ€. At a public meeting earlier this week, a ratepayer asked the mayor about the second valuation. I understand that the mayor allegedly stated that the second valuation came in around $8.6 million to the early $9millions. This raises question given the Council confirmed in a LGOIMA response to me dated 19 September 2024 (โ€œSeptember LGOMIAโ€) that: 1) The Council paid $10 million for the Property and spent a further $1.53 million in demolition and development costs for 100 open air carparks; and 2) The gross annual debt funding cost for the Property (land and development) was $556,000 as at the date of the LGOIMA response. The Councilโ€™s December 2022 Agenda states that: โ€œโ€ฆ5. The properties are earmarked for commercial/mixed use redevelopment in Priority Oneโ€™s CBD blueprint, which forms part of Councilโ€™s City Centre Action and Investment Plan. 6. With this property becoming available, staff have identified several facets of the Strategic Acquisition Fund which does not enable it to be used efficiently for acquisitions of this nature. Staff will review this policy, to enable it to be used more strategically and flexibly, while still retaining appropriate checks and balances.โ€ Visual Barriers for Carparks By way of summary, Council staff and Councillors stated at the March Council Meeting that $10 million of public funds were used to purchase the Property; where existing retail and offices were demolished which resulted in lost rental and rates and increased debt. That 100 โ€œvisible carparksโ€ were established based on โ€œanecdotal demandโ€ (on the fringe of the CBD) after a more central carpark around the Central Precinct Development was closed by the Council around the same time. In addition, the Council is losing money on the carpark. A Councillor asked: โ€œ โ€ฆ was it of a mindset that the Commissioners did this without evidence or did the staff actually present them with the evidence, and did they override it?โ€ A Council staff member responded, that while he was not employed by the Council at that time, he understood that: โ€œYes, Elizabeth Street [existing carpark close to the Property] always has plenty of โ€ฆ or pretty much always has plenty of capacity. However, there is and we have done some work and currently doing some work to remove that visual barrier of a going to use a parking buildingโ€ LGOIMA Request I request the following information: 1)The second valuation for the Property; 2) An unredacted copy of the Telfer Valuation dated December 2022; 3)The financial loss for the carpark broken down into calendar months since the carpark opened in September 2024; 4)All information concerning the โ€œanecdotal demandโ€ to develop a carpark on the Property; 5)The previous work that the Council undertook concerning removing a visual barrier for carparking buildings; 6)The cost of the work noted at point 5; 7)The current work that the Council is undertaking concerning the removal of visual barriers for carparking buildings; 8) The cost of the work noted at point 7; 9) All information concerning the โ€œgeotech issuesโ€ for the Property; and 10) All information about the Council review of the Strategic Acquisition Fund following the meeting in December 2022. While I understand that the Council has 20 working days to provide the second valuation to me, I would appreciate it if the document was sent sooner given that the mayor has made reference to the document and its contents at public meetings. I am happy to wait for the full statutory time period for the remainder of the information (if such time is required by the Council). Woman files lawsuit after arrest for Facebook post concerning Trinidad water supply issues ... TRINIDAD, Texas - A Facebook post about problems with the City of Trinidad's water quality led to the arrest of a woman who now says she's filed a lawsuit against the city after calling the arrest "political retaliation." Police in the City of Trinidad, located in Henderson County around an hour south-east of Dallas, charged Jennifer Combs on May 8 with felony false alarm or report. Her arrest stems from a Facebook post she made on her โ€˜Southern Belle Watch' account, where she claimed that the city's water issues had led to hospitalizations due to bacteria. The post, in part, reads: "We have received reports that some citizens have been hospitalized due to bacteria in the water. This is a serious public health concern that deserves immediate attention. If your water looks discolored, contains sediment, has a strong odor, or you have experienced related health issues, please send us a message. We are gathering information and reporting findings to the state." The Trinidad Police Department, in an April 6 Facebook post of their own, said Combs wrote "false information that creates fear, panic, or unnecessary emergency response within a community." A May 10 post from Trinidad Police Chief Charles Gregory doubled down on the decision to arrest Combs. Gregory claimed the case was "cut and dry," and Combs' claims about hospitalizations "are simply false and have only caused unnecessary fear and confusion in our community." "It was probably one of the most humiliating things Iโ€™ve ever gone through in my entire life. It was very, very bad." Combs, who tells FOX 4's David Sentendrey she's never received a speeding ticket, calls the ordeal of spending the night in jail "horrifying." "I feel like this is an extreme stretch," Combs said of her arrest. "Thereโ€™s people that are saying that their appliances are getting ruined, they canโ€™t cook with the water, they canโ€™t bathe with it, they canโ€™t do laundry," she continued. "A lot of them feel hushed, and like they donโ€™t have a voice and no one listens to them and no one takes them seriously." Combs says multiple citizens had posted to Trinidad PD's Facebook page stating they were hospitalized or affected by consuming the city's water. Images provided to FOX 4 show brown water coming from faucets in sinks and bathtubs within the community. Combs described the city's water supply as looking like "the Trinity River is flowing from their water taps." A water boil had previously been issued for Trinidad on Apr. 21, several weeks after both Combs' post and the Trinidad Police Department's post. The boil was lifted on Apr. 23. TRINIDAD, Texas - A Facebook post about problems with the City of Trinidad's water quality led to the arrest of a woman who now says she's filed a lawsuit against the city after calling the arrest "political retaliation." Police in the City of Trinidad, located in Henderson County around an hour south-east of Dallas, charged Jennifer Combs on May 8 with felony false alarm or report. Her arrest stems from a Facebook post she made on her โ€˜Southern Belle Watch' account, where she claimed that the city's water issues had led to hospitalizations due to bacteria. The post, in part, reads: "We have received reports that some citizens have been hospitalized due to bacteria in the water. This is a serious public health concern that deserves immediate attention. If your water looks discolored, contains sediment, has a strong odor, or you have experienced related health issues, please send us a message. We are gathering information and reporting findings to the state." The Trinidad Police Department, in an April 6 Facebook post of their own, said Combs wrote "false information that creates fear, panic, or unnecessary emergency response within a community." A May 10 post from Trinidad Police Chief Charles Gregory doubled down on the decision to arrest Combs. Gregory claimed the case was "cut and dry," and Combs' claims about hospitalizations "are simply false and have only caused unnecessary fear and confusion in our community." Three of these are from the DUP, including Mr Jonathan Craig, member of Hillsborough Free Presbyterian Church. Christians across Northern Ireland are being deceived by the presence of such people on organisations such as the Education Authority. Their presence conveys an utterly false sense of security. Yesterday morning the Trump team delayed tariffs and made it clear again: they are about getting Mexico and Canada to solve for border security. In private people say Mexico is preparing a clinical response to the border/drug issues and Canada is MIA except for Premier Smith talking about energy security. Hereโ€™s what else Iโ€™m hearing: 1. Virtually no one in D.C. could tell you who or what the federal Canadian is doing to fix the broken border and the security, military, trade and the NATO freeloading issues that are the basis of the original tariff threat. The state dept guy said we are notorious for our security problems now and tolerance was fading. 2. Premier Smith is making friends and influencing people. She is focused on direct conversations with the Presidents closest advisors who will decide energy and foreign trade policy including Bergum, Rubio and Wright. Canadian Fed naysayers meanwhile arenโ€™t here, preferring to talk tough on CBC while sheโ€™s taking open interviews on Fox and defending Canada directly with Cabinet members. 3. Canadaโ€™s leadership vacuum is obvious. No one here understands how a PM can resign & suspend a democracy for three months so his party can have a leadership race. 4. The American priority is security: economic, border, Arctic and NATO. Anyone in Cdn politics who wants to talk tough needs to explain how we will actually fix our broken borders and weak national security. - CTV/CBC, needs to ask every idiot repeating that โ€˜everything is on the tableโ€™ ask them how they will convince the US we are fixing the broken border & our reckless asylum, visa and immigration fraud that invited our growing extremism and criminal and terror syndicate activity to explode. How will the Feds guarantee the Americans they wonโ€™t interdict another 1000 watchlist terrorists (90pc+ of all US terror interdictions) in the next few years? Minnesota Biggest Covid-19 Fraud Case: Next Shoe Drops on Feeding the Future Scandal, FBI Raids New Vision Foundation In September 2024, the U.S. House Committee on Education and Workforce, issued Governor Tim Walz a subpoena regarding his potential decisions and involvement with the Covid-19 $250 million dollar nutritional child food program fraud case--tied to the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center. Federal investigators have uncovered compelling evidence in a case involving the New Vision Foundation (NVF), a nonprofit that claims to teach computer skills and coding to underserved communities. According to court documents, investigators presented a claim ticket for over 3,300 meals a day, six days a week, alongside an invoice for $33,000 worth of food to prepare those meals. However, the alleged cooking and dining activities were supposed to occur in a small, nondescript building, which, according to the landlord, had been renovated for offices and training, not food preparation. A neighboring business further informed investigators that children could not be in the area due to the presence of former convicts working nearby. Founder, Executive Director of New Vision Foundation, Hussein Farah was born in Somalia, and lived what he describes as a pretty normal life up until the civil war. He wanted to help counter this absence of diverse voices and founded The New Vision Foundation, an organization that works to create pathways to success for disadvantaged youth in Minnesota through coding and digital literacy. The FBI executed a search warrant on Thursday, suspecting NVFโ€™s close ties to Feeding Our Future and its founder, Amy Bach, who orchestrated a $250 million scheme to defraud the federal government during the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds in question originated from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, disbursed and managed by the Minnesota Department of Education, raising significant concerns about the stateโ€™s oversight. Despite numerous hearings and investigations, oversight issues remain a contentious topic at the state capitol. News of the Walz administrationโ€™s grants to the IANA comes as the former Democratic vice presidential candidate faces backlash after a series of Washington Examiner reports revealing his ties to Muslim cleric Asad Zaman. As Minnesotaโ€™s governor, Walz has repeatedly hosted Zaman, who shared a pro-Adolf Hitler movie on social media and defended the Oct. 7 attack. Moreover, according to unearthed footage, Walz referred to Zaman as a โ€œmaster teacherโ€ at a 2018 event held by the Zaman-led Muslim American Society of Minnesota, which partners with the IANA. Minnesotaโ€™s Health Department awarded over $238,600 to the IANA in 2024, according to state records. In 2023, the agency gave $191,900 to the IANA, which received over a million dollars from the agency in 2022 and over $612,200 from 2019 to 2021. However, the alleged cooking and dining activities were supposed to occur in a small, nondescript building, which, according to the landlord, had been renovated for offices and training, not food preparation. A neighboring business further informed investigators that children could not be in the area due to the presence of former convicts working nearby. Founder, Executive Director of New Vision Foundation, Hussein Farah was born in Somalia, and lived what he describes as a pretty normal life up until the civil war. In 2023, the agency gave $191,900 to the IANA, which received over a million dollars from the agency in 2022 and over $612,200 from 2019 to 2021.
