It’s simple: with LingOrm, we feel the most profound sense of authenticity. But for us (and Orm), those words were a long awaited confirmation that Ling only gave when she was truly ready. The graduation celebration has finally reached its closing moment. From the initial preparations to the final presentation, we spent two months wholeheartedly pursuing what we love. Thank you to every Chinese Omelette who participated in this graduation gathering support project. Your heartfelt intentions have transcended the barriers of time and space, becoming the driving force for Orm's progress. Thank you to every Chinese Omelette who loves Orm. Our love is like a sturdy tree growing from solid soil. Its growth may be slow and may not yet shield Orm from the storms, but as we accumulate every bit of love, we will eventually see the day when the tree stands tall. Thank you to every fan who has helped OrmOmelette_CN (CN). Your selfless contributions and support have been a lifeline, helping us overcome complex challenges. Thank you to our CN teammates. We have stayed up late, vented our frustrations, and understood each other during the toughest moments. Looking back at the days of planning the graduation support starting in early October, nearly two months have passed. What once seemed like an unreachable goal of 5M THB support has now shone brightly in Bangkok. When we found out we couldn't create the flower wall, it felt like the sky was falling, but we later came up with alternative plan. The discarded old plans, the limited bank cards, the sleepless nights, and flights chased by typhoons—behind this grand celebration stand many “fools crazy in love.” This has been a wholehearted effort without expectation of return, without division. Although there are objective distances of time and space, and cultural and language barriers, this celebration born for Orm is a manifestation of the overwhelming love from the Chinese Omelette. Sincerity answered with sincerity. 🥰 No one imagined that Orm had gone to pray to the Buddha just for a chance to act in TSOU with LingLing. Even though the odds were slim she stayed devoted to her own heart. Normally people pray for romance hoping to meet the right person in their life, but for Orm it was different. From the very first meeting with Ling she already knew. Her prayer was never vague. If it was not P’Ling then it could not be anyone else. Later when success finally came this secret stayed hidden until Orm revealed it herself. She even performed a dance of gratitude for a wish that once felt almost impossible to come true. One meeting turned into years of quiet longing. A young girl just stepping into adulthood met someone she loved at first sight. No one loves someone for that long when they only get to see her twice a year, no one goes out of their way to support her by visiting her younger brother’s restaurant even when it is completely out of the way and Ling never even knew. He has also been highlighted as a role model or inspiration by more than 100 artists both in and outside Kpop. In lieu of this it is inevitable that copycats would arise especially in a trend chasing industry such as kpop and most especially with a trendy idol like Hyunjin. Consequently, we as fans tend to ignore such cases. What is not tenable is, an idol, especially from Hybe (a company who fed negative press about Hyunjin as revealed in their internal documents) marketed as "Hyunjin's Doppelganger" immediately he debuted, co-opting every single one of Hyunjin's identity markers while his company steals fanart made by Hyunjin's fans as a token of their love for him. And after all of these, fans of that artist go around insulting and defaming the blueprint of the personality that drew them to their artist in the first place. It's frankly disgusting that they are trying to shut fans up by attacking Hyunjin in order to enable a million dollar company plagariaze a small creator without backlash. We won't stand for it. We encourage everyone to continue to call out Hybe for their blatant theft.
