The whole red flag discourse online mostly seems to come from women. You'll read the comments and it's often something like, "Why are you with this guy? or Girl, that’s a red flag, you need to leave him." You seldom see the equivalent from men. You rarely seen male commenters respond to a male influencer—like he posts a photo with his girlfriend—and the guys jump in saying, "Dude, that’s a red flag. She said this, she did that, you need to get away from her, run as fast as you can." Once in a while you’ll see it, but not to the same extent as with female influencers and their female followers. Same thing in real life. I was reading that Vogue article and thinking about anecdotal stuff. I have female friends who start dating a new guy and immediately their friends start questioning it—What does he do again? Who are his friends? I’m not sure about this. It’s like they’re looking for reasons to introduce doubt. But when a guy says, “I’m dating this new girl,” his friends don’t usually respond by breaking her down and identifying all her flaws.

This mother took her six year old’s bike to show him a trick (a pretty bad one she said). She didn’t know he was going to video her. But when you hear the video, it is priceless and it should be saved for the rest of her life. “She’s the best mommy in the whole, entire world. How does she do this? I love her so much.” 🥹 As a parent, we have so many wonderful memories but do you have one memory from each of your children that stands out above the rest when you think about them and remember back when they were younger? A favorite moment?

In August of last year, I heard Secretary Kennedy speak about Good Energy during a press conference. I ordered the book, dove in head first, and after 7 days, my daughter needed to come off her afternoon medication she was taking in attempt to manage bipolar disorder. This was the first improvement in 6 years! Then, one year ago today, we were watching the Nutrition Roundtable to see what more we could learn from Casey Means, MD on our family’s metabolic health journey. Little did we know, our lives were about to change forever. I think our whole world might have stopped for a minute when Chris Palmer, MD spoke. We changed her diet to a ketogenic diet, and within days, she was an entirely new person in all of the best ways. This has been the best year of her life, and it’s been the best year for our family, too. 🚛 She was scared by a truck and fell off a bridge where she got stuck for days. Locals alerted us and we managed to save her. 😟 Bridget has been terrified for 2 months. With very poor eyesight she finds human touch very hard. She also avoided all the other dogs. She mostly spent her time alone in corners hiding. ⏰ We had to put in about 100 man hours to build her confidence back up. She had to be as brave as we were patient. 🏡 We’ve seen some signs lately she is coming out of her shell. She moved into the little play house as her own. That was a huge step for her. We also see her tail wagging. ❤️ The biggest surprise this morning was seeing her sharing the bamboo hut with Tofu. He’s the same as her with poor eyesight and a frail old body. They could have chosen anywhere else to spend the night and they normally do so away from all other dogs. But last night they let their guard down and found great comfort in each other. I can explain how proud I am of little Bridget. I look forward to seeing her get more and more relaxed and her relationship with tofu blossom ❤️
