Mew : Looking at the lyrics, the first verse starts from the moment of waking up. I wrote it when we were on a cruise, we went to the Caribbean together. The image of sunlight shining on his face, that messy, bedhead look right after waking up... just how incredibly cute he was 😆 Mew : The next verse talks about things we’ve experienced together, such as when we went traveling and missed a train. When we look back on it now, it’s actually funny. Or when it suddenly started raining and we didn’t have an umbrella, so we had to take off a shirt and cover ourselves. In those moments, the imperfection somehow became perfect for us. 🗣️: So this is all based on a true story? Mew: All of it is real. 🗣️: Not a scene from a series? 😂 Mew: No, it really happened. Ian was a major promoter of - "𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀.𝐈. 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐢 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐡𝐮'𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡" and other conspiracies that were easily falsifiable. Ian has induced 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 conspiratorial paranoia on the masses, preying on naive Tiktok & Youtube users. In this video, Ian's self admitted bias is on full display. Ian promotes (and 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬/𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬) a seemingly shizophrenic man's alleged life story on a channel with 𝟏.𝟐𝟐 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬. A few years ago Jessi asked me if I would be interested in being her next co-host for the Bardown Beauties Podcast. People have always asked me how that came to be and this is how. After every game, my body aches and my head hurts, and then we have to somehow get to sleep, and then we’ve got to wake up early and stuff. So there’s loads of factors into this. It’s not just simply, you go in and you play. And I think we started slow today, especially on Corrode and Lotus. A big map was Lotus for us, and we weren’t able to, just everything wasn’t going our way. The Odin was completely annihilating us. Then when we got to Abyss, we were like, ‘This is the last chance.’ And I felt very confident that we could win this one, because I felt like I knew everything they did on the attack side. And then, what were we like 1–11 down or something? I was like, ‘Oh bloody hell, this one’s going to be a tough one, isn’t it?’ We managed to do it, and then I was like, ‘Holy guacamole, the dream is alive!’ And it felt amazing, hearing the crowd and being able to just do that, because it would’ve been so disappointing of a final to just bomb out there. I mean, the thing about the show when you talk about the money and the resources, the reason that it is stretched to a point, is that we shot, I think, 57 locations in 34 days? So to keep the scope of the show the way we wanted, we had to move fast, and we had to get things done. And so that means there's going to be some one-ers, there's going to be some things, and instead of you seeing that as a limitation, you have to view that as like, “This is a fun opportunity to do something interesting.” We shot that cottage in two days. Aman Sanger on scaling Cursor to $100M in revenue in 12 months The four co-founders started working on Cursor in January 2023. “It was about 2-4 months of experimenting, trying different things and finding something that fit,” Aman recalls. “Then we shipped it and it had an okay launch.” The initial version of Cursor got some initial buzz because they shipped it with GPT-4 at a time where very few products were using Open AI’s latest model. But then usage tanked. The team began to doubt their approach after the failed launch. Aman explains: “The entirety of that summer was just incredibly slow growth, and that was somewhat demoralizing. The big question in our minds was, ‘Are we being too ambitious?’ We were trying to build this general purpose thing for all engineers, but with this really small team, maybe we should focus more narrowly on some particular use case like tests or bug detection.” But the fact that they were users of the product gave the team the confidence to keep going down their initial path: “The really magical thing about this product was that we were users of it. So we could iterate incredibly quickly, and we tried all these different things that summer. Then we found this core set of features that worked incredibly well.” The two key features were Command K for instructed edit ability and code-based indexing that let you ask questions about your whole code base. “After we integrated those two features and launched them, growth kind of just took off.” Aman continues: “A lot of the work of Cursor has been just experimenting with what is possible. For everything you see in the product, there’s like 10 failed experiments that didn’t work… All of our work for the first 6 months to a year was trying to find new ways to harness these models and make these models better for programming.” Another factor that contributed to Cursor’s success was their willingness to ship half-finished features: “We released these half-finished things, which a lot of our competitors refused to do. The first version of Copilot++ and Cursor Tab sucked. The big question in our minds was, ‘Are we being too ambitious?’ We were trying to build this general purpose thing for all engineers, but with this really small team, maybe we should focus more narrowly on some particular use case like tests or bug detection.” But the fact that they were users of the product gave the team the confidence to keep going down their initial path: “The really magical thing about this product was that we were users of it. So we could iterate incredibly quickly, and we tried all these different things that summer. Then we found this core set of features that worked incredibly well.” The two key features were Command K for instructed edit ability and code-based indexing that let you ask questions about your whole code base. “After we integrated those two features and launched them, growth kind of just took off.” Aman continues: “A lot of the work of Cursor has been just experimenting with what is possible. For everything you see in the product, there’s like 10 failed experiments that didn’t work… All of our work for the first 6 months to a year was trying to find new ways to harness these models and make these models better for programming.” Another factor that contributed to Cursor’s success was their willingness to ship half-finished features: “We released these half-finished things, which a lot of our competitors refused to do. The first version of Copilot++ and Cursor Tab sucked. But once you release it to the world and see how people react to it, you can improve on it a ton… We biased toward releasing as soon as something shows signs of usefulness to the team.” Video source: Peak XV Partners (2025)

We went in with the original objectives of, no nuclear weapons. We were going to change the regime. We were going to stop their support of their so-called proxies… None of that has happened. We were not winning the war. I wouldn’t go as far as saying we were losing, but none of our objectives were met. Iran was gaining strength with the Strait of Hormuz being closed down. Not only was it affecting us and impacting us negatively here in the United States, but the world economy as well. So we had to come up with some ceasefire... But to be quite frank with you, peace and diplomacy are dead on arrival as long as this administration is in place. Because President Trump does not understand diplomacy. He keeps speaking out loud. He keeps saying negative things. Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu’s government do not want to see this war to end. And so, yes, the memorandum of understanding, I think, was done in good faith. EXCLUSIVE: Check out the Mock Trailer that helped us sell Cobra Kai! In 2017, we had the daunting task of trying to explain to buyers in Hollywood what we envisioned Cobra Kai to look and feel like. Sure, we had a detailed pitch and Ralph Macchio and William Zabka joining us in pitch meetings, but the tone of our show was going to be so specific that we wanted to do our best to show streamers how they could potentially sell the overall story and vibe of Cobra Kai. Without actually filming the show, our task was near impossible and it was never going to be perfect, but with the help of our incredibly talented editor friend Jeff Yorkes, we cobbled together footage from Ralph and Billy’s prior work, mixed it was other images that helped tell our story, and threw Thunderstruck under it. We showed this sizzle in all of our pitch meetings to set the tone. But now for the very first time right, I’m sending it to the internet! A couple fun facts… 1) We had different versions of this sizzle tailored for each buyer we went to. This one mentions Netflix, but when we were meeting at YouTube, it said YouTube. Hulu it said Hulu. And so on. 2) We became absolutely obsessed with Thunderstruck from watching this trailer over and over again and always wanted to have it on the show. But it was so expensive, we couldn’t afford it. Instead we had Johnny mention it in passing as a meta nod when he wanted to advertise the dojo in S2. When making S6, we were determined to finally use the song when Johnny and Miguel took back Cobra Kai, so we saved money in other areas of our budget to make it happen. “He (Oscar) missed out in the end, but only his 3rd season in Formula 1 and and his rate of development in between each season as well has been so notable. How have you looked on Oscar Piastri's first three years with McLaren, this fight, and do you expect him to bounce back quite strong next year?” Andrea Stella: “Oscar will be definitely stronger next year. Oscar will win championships at McLaren in the future. He has all it takes. I've always said that the rate of development tells me why he won championship at the first year in the junior categories. His capacity to adapt, his capacity to analyze what is needed, got it, I'll go out and do it and he does it. He’s no short than exceptional. And I think this year Oscar for two third of the season has been the most consistent. We then went to tracks that challenged Oscar from a technical point of view. The low grip circuits required a driving style that came so natural for Lando and so much to think for Oscar like ‘ah, that's what the car needs, it doesn't come natural to me. I have to think how I do it in an automatic way.’ And with the level of drivers we have at the moment, as soon as you have to think too much in the way you drive, you lose several positions. But I think really the only event in which Oscar had some hesitations this year is just Baku. I think all the rest in my view, it has some technical explanations. It has to do with the level overall of drivers that we have there for the impact of not being perfect, not being to the last 1%. And also Oscar showed maturity once again in the way he withstood the difficulties we had as a team. Which once again are quite impressive for somebody who is at the third season in Formula 1 and gives me the chance to thank Oscar and Lando for how they stayed supportive of the team. And like I say, if we made it, I think we made it not in the events in which we gained the points but in the way we dealt with the events in which we lost the points. And ultimately we did it. We were discussing this morning with the team by less than alpha percent, two points over more than 400. This shows that how marginal this game, how competitive this game is, which is obviously also a message to - at least for us, we said it's a message for us to do better because we would like to be slightly more comfortable in the future.”
