Bill Maher spent eight minutes on Real Time last Friday doing something no Democrat with a national microphone has done honestly in a decade. He told his own party why they lost. The core of the monologue: โ€ Read that again. Slowly. The second-most-famous liberal talk-show host in America โ€” a man who has spent 30 years telling audiences how dumb Republicans are โ€” just told Democrats that the issues do not matter, that voters pick based on ๐˜ข๐˜ถ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜บ, ๐˜ฃ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜ด, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ค๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ฎ๐˜ข, and that Donald Trump has all three while the Democratic Party has none of them. This is not a small admission. This is the entire 2024 post-mortem in a single sentence, delivered by a Democrat. Let me walk through what else he said, because it gets better โ€” and worse, depending on which side of the aisle you sit on. ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐Œ๐š๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐‹๐ž๐ ๐–๐ข๐ญ๐ก The Democratic Partyโ€™s current approval rating is ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ (Gallup, March 2026). Nick Fuentes says Trump ran on draining the swamp and exposing the Epstein network, but now looks no different from the corrupt establishment he promised to destroy. He calls it a twisted reversal, comparing the moment to Animal Farm. The anti-establishment movement becomes the establishmentโ€ฆor perhaps it always was. โ€œThey want to blame it on the Biden Administration. They say โ€˜Well this is Bidenโ€™s DOJ, itโ€™s a Democrat OP, this is leftover from Biden.โ€™ OK so why the f*ck did we elect you then?โ€ โ€œWe are a year into our โ€˜Golden Age.โ€™ Weโ€™re 25% through with this second term. And you donโ€™t have it figured out by now? Theyโ€™re still blaming it on the Democrats? Isnโ€™t that kind of what they do with everything?โ€ โ€œWhy is there no peace in Ukraine? Well, the Democrats left us a mess. Why is the economy still bad? Well, the Democrats left us a mess. Why are Epstein Files still covered up? Well, the Democrats ruined the DOJ.โ€ โ€œOk, so why elect Republicans then? If the Democrats get in, everythingโ€™s their fault. If Republicans get in, everythingโ€™s the Democratsโ€™ fault. If Trump gets elected, well itโ€™s not really his fault, only the people that he hired that are at fault.โ€ โ€œIโ€™ve been saying it for a long time: The problem is him. This is a difficult pill for people to swallowโ€ฆhe is fundamentally not up for the job. He is out to lunch.โ€ โ€œEpstein is using similar coded language just like the Podestas were in the Wikileaks emails with Pizzagate. So letโ€™s not pretend anyone is innocent here. Itโ€™s Republicans and Democrats.โ€ โ€œHere is the issue for Republicans. They ran on releasing the files. And more than that, they ran on draining the swamp. Isnโ€™t that the whole conceit of Trumpism?โ€ โ€œThereโ€™s something sort of ritually ironic about this hearingโ€ฆItโ€™s like a warped, twisted, and ironic farce.โ€ โ€œIt felt righteous because Trump was sitting on our side. He was the voice of the people and he was directing it against a corrupt establishmentโ€ฆwhich was connected to Epstein, which was connected to the Podestas, which was connected to all this evil stuffโ€ฆall the lies about the elites. All the lies about the weird sexual stuff at Comet Ping Pongโ€ฆand Trump was fighting them on our behalf.โ€ โ€œHe was a champion of the people. Now here we are ten years later and itโ€™s reversed. Itโ€™s like a sick parodyโ€ฆItโ€™s like Animal Farmโ€ฆnow itโ€™s a mirror image.โ€ โ€œIn defense of Jeffrey Epstein, Les Wexner, and world jewry. Literally the sickest sh*t imaginable.โ€

On Friday, Bill Maher asked me if what happened with Biden at the disastrous debate with Trump was the same story as the Emperor's New Clothes. Me: The story of the Emperor's New Clothes is a story about common knowledge, because when the kid blurted it out, he actually wasn't telling anyone anything they didn't already know. They could see the Emperor was naked. But he still changed their knowledge, because by blurting it out with an earshot of the others, now everyone knew that everyone else knew that everyone else knew that everyone else knew. And what that allowed them to do is change their relationship with the Emperor, from obsequious deference to ridicule and scorn. And the thing about common knowledge in the social realm is that it's what props up our social relationships. And so when something is blurted out, then it can change everything. It changes the nature of your relationship with someone. Maher: And we do have sort of a modern version of the Emperor parable, which is Joe Biden. I mean, he was the Emperor who everyone wouldn't say had lost his marbles. I mean, is that not really the same story? Me: It is the same story, because opinion polls showed that after that disastrous debate with Trump, the number of people who thought that he was cognitively impaired didn't go up by that much. It went up by a few percentage points. But before, a majority of people thought that he was cognitively impaired. The difference is, when it's on TV, where you're watching it, you know that the rest of the country is watching it, you know the rest of the country knows the rest of the country, it's no longer private. It's common. And that's when he was challenged. That was the end. Bill Maher Real Time with Bill Maher

Bill Maher reveals Trump was 'gracious and measured' at White House meeting, says he's not the man seen on TV | Joseph A. Wulfsohn, Fox News 'I never felt I had to walk on eggshells around him,' Maher told his audience "Real Time" host Bill Maher revealed details Friday of his meeting last week with President Donald Trump at the White House, saying Trump was more gracious and good-humored than he expected. "You can hate me for it, but I'm not a liar. Trump was gracious and measured," Maher said. "And why isn't that in other settings- I don't know, and I can't answer, and it's not my place to answer. I'm just telling you what I saw, and I wasn't high." Maher mocked those who treated the White House visit like it was "some kind of summit" brokered by their mutual friend Kid Rock, calling them "ridiculous." "I have no power. I'm a f---ing comedian, and he's the most powerful leader in the world!" Maher exclaimed. "I'm not the leader of anything, except maybe a contingent of centrist-minded people who think there's got to be a better way of running this country than hating each other every minute." Maher shared a printout of the insults Trump had leveled at him over the years, which Trump signed with "good humor." "And I know as I say that, millions of liberal sphincters just tightened. โ€˜Oh, my God, Bill, you gonna say something nice about him?โ€™ What I'm gonna do is report exactly what happened," Maher said, adding he "didn't go MAGA. And to the president's credit, there was no pressure to." The HBO host expressed his surprise about how Trump laughs, something he said he had never seen him do in public, telling his audience, "He does, including at himself." "And it's not fake. Believe me, as a comedian of 40 years, I know a fake laugh when I hear it," Maher said. Maher credited Trump for being "much more self-aware than he lets on in public," revealing the subject of the 2020 election came up during his tour of the White House and that he "didn't get mad" how Maher brought up Trump's rare admission that he had lost. "Look, I get it. It doesn't matter who he is at a private dinner with a comedian. It matters who he is on the world stage. I'm just taking as a positive that this person exists. Because everything I've ever not liked about him was, I swear to God, absent at least on this night with this guy," Maher said. "I've had so many conversations with prominent people who are much less connected, people who don't look you in the eye, people don't really listen because they just want to get to their next thingโ€ฆ None of that was him, and he mostly steered the conversation to โ€˜What do you think about this?โ€™ I know, your mind is blown. So is mine." Maher said there were several moments where he cracked a joke at Trump's expense or contradicted him on various topics, but it was "no problem" between the two of them. "I never felt I had to walk on eggshells around him," he told his audience. "And honestly, I voted for Clinton and Obama, but I would never feel comfortable talking to them the way I was able to talk with Donald Trump. That's just how it went down. Make of it what you will. Me? I feel it's emblematic of why the Democrats are so unpopular these days." Maher recalled the "most surreal" part of the entire experience was when he returned home to watch "60 Minutes" and saw a clip of Trump from a podium "ranting" and shouting insults. "And I'm like, 'Who's that guy? What happened to Glinda the Good Witch?'" Maher quipped. "'And why can't we get the guy I met to the public guy?' And I'm not saying it's our responsibility to do that. It's not. I'm just reporting exactly what I saw over two-and-a-half hours. I went into the mine, and that's what's down there." "A crazy person doesn't live in the White House, a person who plays a crazy person on TV a lot lives there, which I know is f---ed up. It's just not as f---ed up as I thought it was, and I have no illusions now that I'm back to work at my job, that he might start a new list," Maher said, holding up the printout of Trump's insults to him. "Because I don't have a good feeling and will be critical about a lot of what he's doing- the trade war and disappearing people, ruling by decree, threatening judges, gutting the government with glee." "But I also think he now understands I have a job to do, or at least he did on this night, because he said to me early on that he'd seen our last episode, which was the Friday before this dinner, and he said, 'I thought maybe you'd be nice, but you hit me really hard.' I did because I'm not going to pull my punches that presidents get to propose a third term for themselves. He understood that, and without animus, that doesn't mean he's not going to try to do it," he continued. Maher said he walked away with nothing from the White House except "hats and a very generous amount of time and a willingness to listen and accept me as a possible friend, even though I'm not MAGA, which was the point of the dinner." With the Russia hoax being exposed more every single day, there is another hoax making its rounds again. Hoax: In 2018 Putin said that he directed his people to help Trump win the election. A short, out of context clip is now their "proof" of Russian election interference to help Trump in 2016. Brennan talked about it. Peter Baker posted about it a couple days ago. Bill Maher played it on his show last night, claiming it was proof of Russian interference to help Trump. It's all over MSNBC and CNN again. They probably all know the truth about the clip but it doesn't stop them from lying about it. Firstly, it should come as no surprise that CNN's clip is different from almost all of the others broadcasted, as you will shortly see. Top clip is the hoax: Putin is asked if he wanted Trump to win and then asked if he directed his officials to help him. Putin answers "yes I did." Here's what actually happened. Putin had just stated that he in no way directed anyone to interfere in the election, that there was no collusion, and that it was all ridiculous nonsense. Putin called the accusations garbage more than once in the press conference. Putin was then asked by a reporter why people should believe his denials about election interference and if he would hand over the 12 people Mueller indicted (show indictments btw). Putin took out his translator ear piece and gave a long answer about working with Trump to find out if crimes were committed, America and Russia working together on other stuff, treaties, etc. During that answer (bottom clip) he again said the accusations of interference were not true. At the end of his answer, the same reporter who asked him the previous questions asked "Did you want Trump to win and did you instruct officials to help him." By watching any other broadcast than CNN, it becomes very clear what happened. Putin did not hear the first half of the reporter's followup question because he was putting on an ear piece and the volume of the reporter's mic was down. Watch the top clip and the last 20 seconds of the bottom clip. Look at the difference. You will see it is obvious that Putin did not hear the first question and only heard the second question about if he instructed people to help Trump. It's obvious that he thought it applied to what he was just talking about, which was America and Russia working together. It's so funny how in the foreign broadcasts and some of the American ones, it's clear that Putin didn't hear the first half of the question. But on CNN the volume is magically up and it appears that Putin heard both questions. But the fact is that Putin had just spent most of the press conference denying any interference in the election or collusion with Trump. He wasn't all of a sudden admitting it now. He didn't hear the first question. The hoaxers never play any of the rest of the press conference with all the denials. In another press conference after this one Putin again says it was all a hoax cooked up to undermine Trump's presidency. If the MSM cared at all about America or the truth they would lay out what I just did. If you don't want to watch all the context, just watch the top clip, the beginning of the bottom clip, and the last 20 seconds of the bottom clip and you will see clearly what happened.

THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUMP & EPSTEIN. The truth must be stated and not overlooked. Yes, Trump is in the Epstein files but not as many would think. So technically, Elon is not lying. Trump just is not implicated in the Epstein files in a nefarious sick way like many others are such as have half of Hollywood and people like Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and other wealthy elite individuals are. Everyone always shows the same video and same couple pictures and say's, see? He's guilty. But this couldn't be farther from the truth. Yes Trump is had another wealthy person at his events and knew Epstein before he was ever arrested in 2005-2006 for sexual crimes against a minor, Trump broke off his relationship and banned him from ever stepping foot in Mar-a-Lago ever again for hitting on another members young daughter. When it comes to being on the flight logs, yes, Trump is on it as well from the little time they spent together before anything was ever known or public or before he was ever even arrested. Epstein's own pilot admitted that Trump did fly from West Palm Beach to Newark New Jersey, on January 5, 1997, and it wasn't even on the Lolita Express that was the Epstein Island's main shuttle jet. It was on a completely other aircraft. Finally another huge revelation is the prosecutor in the Epstein case who admitted that out of every single person, politician, and celebrity he asked for help to prosecute Epstein, Trump was the ONLY ONE who helped him prosecute Epstein to make sure he made it behind bars and cooperated and gave him as much time as he needed. All the victims of Epstein and others also all supported Trump throughout the case and his presidency and many have stated that Trump has never done anything to them and that they have never seen him on the Island. Do you really believe if Trump was guilty in anyway, all his dirty laundry wouldn't have been aired out in 2016, or the 2 previous elections with Biden and Kamala? Give me a break. They'd be watering at the mouth the first chance they'd get to drop the news. There's nothing there folks. Stop buying everything at the surface level. This operation has never ended. Sometimes you need to force or push your opposition to make a move or expose themselves. Remember, there are layers, optics, and timing to everything you see happening. Don't buy everything at the surface level. Think deeper. Lastly, I am strictly for the people, the children, the country, and the truth. It doesn't matter who you are, what side your own, or your beliefs. As long as your for the same things, your good in my book. And if Donald Trump was involved in a nefarious way, then he can go down too. But one thing I will tell you is that many would have never supported him if he was ever guilty in the first place. The man can not be bought and is not compromised. He genuinely cares about people and his country. Think bigger people. The show must go on. There are no coincidences.

The Lyrics of Imperfect Mew : Every moment in the song is based on a true story. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ: Can you share some of it with us? Mew : Looking at the lyrics, the first verse starts from the moment of waking up. I wrote it when we were on a cruise, we went to the Caribbean together. The image of sunlight shining on his face, that messy, bedhead look right after waking up... just how incredibly cute he was ๐Ÿ˜† Mew : The next verse talks about things weโ€™ve experienced together, such as when we went traveling and missed a train. When we look back on it now, itโ€™s actually funny. Or when it suddenly started raining and we didnโ€™t have an umbrella, so we had to take off a shirt and cover ourselves. In those moments, the imperfection somehow became perfect for us. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ: So this is all based on a true story? Mew: All of it is real. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ: Not a scene from a series? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mew: No, it really happened. The train incident happened in Munich. Usually, heโ€™s the one who checks the schedule. Like, where to go, which platform and what time. But that day, it looked like he read it wrong, so we rushed because we thought we were going to miss it. But actually, he didnโ€™t read it wrong, the train changed platforms. We had to go to another one. It was funny. No one was at faultโ€ฆ the platform was the one that was wrong ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mew : When I told him which moments behind the song, he related to it so much. He listens to it every night now. He probably knows the lyrics better than I do ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mew : Usually when I write a song, I let him listen to it first. He relates to this one so deeply that he especially loves it.

I just want to spell this out so that even a child can understand. Last night on live TV in Russia, presenters gloated about Putinโ€™s new alignment with the US on Ukraine. One even hoping for an alliance against โ€˜satanic Europeโ€™ Olga Skabeyeva known as Putinโ€™s โ€˜Iron Dollโ€™ clearly stated; โ€œTrump does not set any conditions for Russia and Putin. Only for Zelensky and Ukraineโ€ Just take a moment to absorb that. In an unimaginable act of betrayal. What can only be described as an American Russian puppet, has taken the decision to castrate the Ukrainian military and be complicit in the murder of women and children, in the country of an ally whose soldiers served on the battlefield of Iraq with his own. Overnight, Russians hit a Hotel in Kyiv in which both American and UK aid workers were staying. Fortunately they escaped injury, but no thanks to Trump Trump is a traitor to his country. He is compromised and as such, is a Russian asset sat behind the Resolute desk. There can be no other conclusion one can draw. This makes the Republican Party complicit in all current attacks on Ukraine and responsible for any resulting deaths. Tragically, I only hear a handful of Democrats sharing my outrage too. I am a HUGE admirer of Barack Obama and Bill Clinton but in this critical moment, their silence is frankly deafening. WHY gentlemen why? President Obama really should feel ashamed right now. In 2014 he and UK Prime Minister David Cameron reneged on the Budapest Memorandum, which gave security assurances that the U.S. and the UK would aid Ukraine in the event of aggression from Russia. Their excuse? An โ€˜assuranceโ€™ is NOT a โ€˜guaranteeโ€™. They say, โ€˜Whatโ€™s in a word?โ€™ Well 153,000 dead Ukrainians was whatโ€™s in that word. To add insult to injury, a felonious US President is now colluding with Americaโ€™s oldest adversary to lift sanctions, pause offensive cyber operations and deny Ukraine vital intelligence. This WILL lead to the loss of life. It is beyond shameful. America seems completely oblivious to the fact that this dovetails into the theft of classified documents after Trump was dragged kicking and screaming from the White House. Not to mention the meeting Trump had with Putin in Helsinki and the meeting with Russian officials in the White House, where translators were removed from the room. So my question is, what does Trump have to do to prove he is an existential threat to US national security? This is like watching a Hollywood movie. The President of the United States has appointed a defense and security team in which his Director of National Intelligence is credibly suspected of being sympathetic to the Kremlin. And his Secretary of Defense is too dumb to recognize a threat if it smacked him in the face. A guy who would sell his country out for a blond he can knock around and a crate of whisky. What could possibly go wrong? Thereโ€™s no wonder Trump โ€˜loves the poorly educatedโ€™. Thatโ€™s one thing, but then add a Republican caucus cowering in a corner screaming, โ€˜Please donโ€™t hurt usโ€™. This defines the point at which you have created the perfect permissive environment in which to overturn 80 years of alliances and global security. Trump is a man who in business showed no loyalty to his country. He dodged the draft, persistently dodged paying his taxes and stole from his own charity. What on earth makes anyone think he has a grain of loyalty, morality or decency in this moment? His alignment with Putin is clear evidence that because of him, America is weak and less safe. Putin is now driving American foreign policy and bragging about it on Russian prime time TV. So my simple question to Republicans is this, WHAT WILL IT TAKE? What will it take to really PUT AMERICA FIRST right now? Because the U.S. is about to be abandoned by all its allies and friends all for a Russian asset to be installed in the Oval Office. Trump said looters should be shot and here he is, looting America. Make it make sense.

With this exchange, Trump achieved two things: 1 - Nullified Mamdani's 'star power' 2 - Prevented any future complains about Trump not helping him 'fix NYC' Number 1: Mamdani is so radical that some democrats won't touch him with a 10-foot pole. Obama didn't endorse him (But he DID endorse Karen Bass for Mayor back in the day), so you know that Mamdani is seen as almost radioactive with his 'democratic socialism' schtick. Mamdani essentially ran his campaign weaponizing Trump Derangement Syndrome on steroids (besides promising a lot of free stuff that we know won't work). We know that the weaponization of TDS is very effective, since Kamala Harris got a good chunk of votes that way. Many, many people in the US will vote for a lettuce if the lettuce could say that Trump is a fascist or a despot. So what happens when Mamdani appears next to Trump, both praising each other repeatedly? all the people who voted for their 'anti-Trump warrior' will feel like fools. I'm sure that Trump was extra charming in that private conversation and implied that after all, he's willing to 'help', which might have befuddled Mamdani. But the reality is that Mamdani needs that support from The Don, no matter what. So, upon a cordial exchange, a receptive Trump and maybe the 'promise' to sort things out together for NYC, Mamdani had no choice but to behave like he did in front of the cameras, including saying that both he and Trump agree on the end of wars and affordability of everything in NYC. So that's how his 'anti-Trump-warrior' persona gets demolished. And that persona is the one of the few things that, as a complete rookie in managing a city, would have given him some grace in the face of his constituents for any eventual management disasters. So on to Number 2: the possibility of blaming Trump for not helping him. That can't happen anymore. Trump said repeatedly that he congratulates Mamdani, that he wishes him well, that if he succeeds in making NYC as great as it has ever been he'll be the first one to cheer, and that his administration is going to be 100% supportive. Now, if Mamdani effz up, and he most likely will, how could he blame Trump after a meeting like this? Mamdani already gave an interview after this exchange, and upon being pressured about his 'despot' and 'fascist' remarks, he just said that his stances have not changed but doubled down on working on what they agree on about NYC. What Trump did with this exchange was defang Mamdani. Was it confusing for MAGA? you bet. But when you need to obliterate someone's persona in front of his voters, you do whatever it takes, because in the end those same voters will be the ones to judge the TDS-less Mamdani. In the end, as Scott Adams said, Trump skillfully made the story all about himself, while planting the seeds of doubts in Mamdani's fans.

From 'elbows up' to starstruck: Carney gushes over Trump at G7 This flip-flop isn't just embarrassingโ€”it's revealing. Carney didn't change his mind on Trump. He changed audiences. Liberal leader Mark Carney has humiliated himselfโ€”and every progressive who voted for himโ€”by swooning over Donald Trump at the G7 Summit in Alberta, despite campaigning on a tough, "elbows up" stance against the U.S. President. Carney's election campaign played heavily to anti-Trump sentiment, telling voters that Canada's relationship with America โ€” particularly under Trump โ€” was over as we knew it. He vowed to chart a new course, free from the influence of "Trumpism," and to stand firm against what he described as a dangerous, destabilizing force in global politics. But when Donald Trump arrived in Banff for the G7, all that posturing melted into an embarrassing puddle. In front of cameras, Carney fawned over Trump like Justin Trudeau at a Taylor Swift concert. Gone were the elbows, the icy diplomacy, and the campaign rhetoric. In their place? Open admiration and photo-op diplomacy. Footage from the summit shows Carney standing silently as Trump mocked past Canadian decisionsโ€”including the expulsion of Russia from the G8โ€”while praising his own leadership. Carney offered no defence, no correction, and certainly no "elbows." If Liberal voters thought they were electing a principled anti-Trump statesman, they should feel deeply misled. What they got instead was a man who folded at the first flash of American power, happy to bask in the moment and posture for the cameras. This flip-flop isn't just embarrassingโ€”it's revealing. Carney didn't change his mind on Trump. He changed audiences. At our team is here on the ground in Alberta, covering the summit the way the legacy media won't. And this momentโ€”this cringe-worthy capitulation by a man who claimed he'd stand tall against Trumpโ€”is the defining image of Carney's leadership. He ran on "elbows up." He delivered knees bent.

Garry Kasparov unleashes the truth: putinโ€™s war is pure survival, not strategy. Garry Kasparov nails it: putin isn't some rational leader. He's a dictator obsessed with staying in power for 25 years and counting. This war? It's his life support, infecting every part of Russia. Forget ideology, he is a one-man mafia boss, desperate to project strength. He won't stop until he declares 'victory,' which he can't get, so he'll just keep expanding the war. He literally couldn't care less about how many Russians die as long as he controls Moscow and St. Petersburg. Trump even offered him an 'out' twice, and putin rejected it because it would make him look weak - and weakness means the whole flock turns on him. He's even eyeing a test of NATO's Article 5 and hoping his far-right buddies take over Europe. The West's slow reaction and constant reliance on America has just emboldened him. Kasparov is right, the only thing that changes Russia is a Ukrainian victory, and fast. Garry Kasparov: I hate starting to talk with criticism but this time I have to point out that your question basically repeated the same mistake in evaluation because you tried to analyze putinโ€™s actions from the position of the responsible national leader. Everything you said is absolutely correct. vladimir's putinโ€™s rule is devastating for Russia and I believe it will end to the collapse of the Russian Empire which is long overdue. But vladimir putinโ€™s calculations are not based on this rational thinking. His view is very different. He is in power for 25 years and counting. Thatโ€™s all that matters for him. Heโ€™s a dictator and he works for one thing: only survival. Heโ€™s still there. And the war has become the only way to keep him in power. War now is in every layer of Russian society, from the very top of the government to industries all the way down to kindergartens. Itโ€™s infected by the war virus and that's how putin stays in power. Interviewer: So that makes him different from let's say Soviet leaders or or even some of the tsarโ€™s right? Again you should look at Soviet leaders based on the political momentum, just obviously Soviet leaders that we remember, you and me, so like Brezhnev, they had different calculations. But also don't forget the Soviet leaders after Stalin. They were ruling the country that had strong ideology and communist party. I'm not here to advocate for the communist party or for any kind of ideology but there's a fundamental difference between the party rule which is a mafia structure and the one man dictatorship. putin shifted Russia to a one man dictatorship where everything depends on an individual who is on the top of power, who becomes at certain time a spine of the whole system. And this system depends on his survival, demonstrating his strengths is to be a macho, to be an alpha, surrounded by other mafia bosses. And that's why, you know, his current position today is, you may call it desperate, but I don't think he he sees it the same way. He will continue the war as long as he has the resources. And this is something that the free world is just getting to understand. That was my main criticism to the west. vladimir putin, for a long time was at open war, those were hybrid at the time with the free world. And the free world, and especially Europe, was not willing to hear the messages, to see the messages and to respond accordingly. 1/2

Trump is so far out of his depth that even he canโ€™t lie his way out of this one. His stupidity and hubris has led him down a path from which there is now no return. Take a listen to this clip featuring Lawrence Wilkerson, retired US Army Colonel and former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell. Wilkerson has been around the block a few times and has some bitter experience of these kinds of misadventures. The obvious question in this moment is what represents a road too far? Well Iโ€™m afraid Trump is on it wearing a new pair of his golden sneakers, heโ€™s opened up a Pandoraโ€™s box and itโ€™s full of geopolitical vipers. In his tiny little mind heโ€™s said to himself, โ€˜I have the biggest most powerful army on the planet and Iran will comply or die,โ€™ without a thought to the consequences. He saw opportunity for self-enrichment and bet his presidency and the Republican Partyโ€™s future on it. He always likes to say โ€˜in the good ole daysโ€™ when referring to wanting to make America great. In his mind, segregation and women knowing their place is his kind of golden age in which old grey white men set the rules and everyone falls into line. Times have changed, the age of gunboat diplomacy are dead Iโ€™m afraid. The very nature of war has changed. The writing has been on the wall since the Vietnam war, A conflict in which for the first time at scale, the US faced an insurgent enemy who melted into the population and then waged a relentless war of opportunity. A war where shock and awe plays no part, yet the U.S. appears to have learned nothing. Iran has 93 million people who have lived in a theocratic dictatorship for almost half a century. Trump decided to make this a holy war because he felt it was easier to sell. In his eyes, everybody hates Muslims right?. In his mind, America is now a reborn white Christian nation ready to fight a holy crusade against the evil Islamists. Mixing political power and religion has long been the holy grail of Western dictators. They believe they are doing the Lordโ€™s work by eradicating the people that donโ€™t worship their God. This religious fervour blinds the perpetrator to the truth that war rarely delivers the power those prosecuting it seek. Trump has followed Putinโ€™s โ€˜Special Military Operationโ€™ roadmap almost to the letter, but without the ground forces. He made the same assumption that victory could be had in weeks. As a result, heโ€™s facing the same challenges Putin faced, a population that will never give up, they are forced to adapt to meet the challenges from a traditional large military adversary. Iran could never resist the overwhelming power of the US Air Force. They knew that, so while Trump brags about destroying air defences and the Iranian Navy, all indications to an idiot like Trump that heโ€™s winning. The truth is, there was no real intention from Iran to fight this war on Americaโ€™s terms. The Iranian leadership knows this is midterms year, Trump is spending a billion dollars a day to prosecute a war. They believe they can stretch out as long as is required. In their minds, they just have to wait him out. They donโ€™t care how many civilians get killed because every civilian and child death is not only a recruitment Ad for the upcoming insurgency, it also paints the US as a monster on the world stage. Iran has a stock of millions of sacrificial lambs to expend on a war of attrition. They know this canโ€™t be won from the air, and the US for all its power and might donโ€™t have enough troops to win a war on the ground. The country is massive, the terrain is challenging and the Iranians are fighting in their own backyard. I have said it many times, the US has never won a war on its own EVER. Yet Trumpโ€™s malignant narcissism leads him to believe it will be different for him. Heโ€™s wrong, his dreams of empire are about to go up in flames and heโ€™s going to take the American economy with him. Itโ€™s the definition of insanity. ๐ŸŽฅ TikTok -
