๐ŸšจZlatan Ibrahimovic on Barcola + Mbaye to Liverpool for close to โ‚ฌ200m: โ€œPremier League inflated the marketโ€ฆ now pay the price.โ€ ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธโ€œPSG asking close to 200 million for Barcola and Mbaye together is not crazy. It is the market you created. Elliot Anderson goes for 135 million. Morgan Rogers for almost 140. English clubs are throwing ridiculous money at players who have never won a Champions League, never carried a nation at a World Cup, never been the difference in the biggest games. Then they look at Barcola โ€” two-time Champions League winner, France international, proven at the highest level โ€” and suddenly 170 is โ€˜too muchโ€™? Please. Barcola is not some Premier League product hyped by Sky Sports. He is a real footballer who already has European titles. Mbaye is young, hungry, and has the kind of upside that clubs pay fortunes for later when it is too late. Together near 200 is high, yes. A bit high. But egregious? No. Not when the Premier League has completely inflated and ruined the transfer market with their own spending. I know value. I have been the most expensive player, the difference-maker, the one who made clubs rich by existing. PSG are not stupid. They built a machine that wins. They know what their players are worth in this market. If Liverpool want both, stop crying and pay. Or sit down like men and negotiate a serious number that respects the asking price. You cannot complain about the bill after you ordered the most expensive menu on the table for years. The Premier League spent like drunk tourists and now acts shocked when someone else asks for real money for real quality. That is not PSG being greedy. That is the market catching up to the mess English clubs made. If Liverpool want Barcola and Mbaye, they pay what the market demands or they leave them in Paris. Simple. Lions do not negotiate with feelings. They take what is theirsโ€ฆ or they pay the price.โ€

Another superlative achievement by the Joseph Vijay administration - a source of unbearable urinal stench in the garb of a TASMAC bar has finally been shut down in Shenoy Nagar! Residents of Shenoy Nagar, which falls under the Anna Nagar constituency, are jumping in joy because the TASMAC bar on First Cross Street (allegedly owned by a DMK-linked strongman), which had been a major nuisance and headache for residents for years, has finally been shut down. People say this has brought enormous relief to the locality. Mind you, this TASMAC bar was located barely 500 feet away from a government girlsโ€™ school. Despite repeated complaints from residents over the years, and despite the proximity to a girlsโ€™ school, no serious effort was allegedly made earlier to shut it down. This TASMAC outlet had effectively become a permanent stench point in an otherwise decent residential neighborhood. Respectable families avoided using that road altogether whether for walking, riding, or even driving. People allegedly consumed alcohol openly outside the TASMAC shop, on roadsides, near parked vehicles, and in full public view. The bar reportedly had no proper toilet facilities, which led to the unbearable urine stench that engulfed the area for years. For any decent resident, the entire stretch had become an eyesore and a public-health nuisance. Finally, it has now been shut down. This is yet another testament to the resolve shown by CMOTamilNadu to crack down on TASMAC bars located near schools, colleges, hospitals, residential zones, and places of worship. After many years, residents have finally started using this road comfortably again for daily commute, as the bar had reportedly remained a nuisance throughout both the DMK and ADMK regimes. People say it was Anna Nagar TVK Party HQ MLA #RamKumar who persistently pushed for the removal, coordinated with multiple authorities, and ultimately ensured that it happened. Not only was the TASMAC bar shut down, but the locality has also reportedly been freed from the nuisance, disorderly crowd, and unbearable urine stench associated with it. Residents of Shenoy Nagar are profusely thanking Anna Nagar MLA #RamKumar for this intervention. And ultimately, none of this would likely have happened without the administrative backing and go-ahead provided by CMOTamilNadu Joseph Vijay!

Concerns Raised Over Managerial Conduct at Equity Bank There appears to be growing concerns among staff regarding the conduct of a senior credit officer, with allegations of unprofessional behaviour surfacing across multiple instances. Reports from employees suggest that workplace tensions have been escalating, with claims of hostility, intimidation, and, in some cases, near-physical confrontations. Despite complaints purportedly being raised through internal channels, some sources indicate that no substantive action has been taken, leading to speculation about whether internal oversight mechanisms are being effectively applied. According to accounts from individuals familiar with the situation, the officer in question has allegedly developed a reputation for dismissing grievances brought against him, reportedly claiming that complaints will not lead to any consequences. Some employees believe that his confidence in avoiding disciplinary measures stems from support within the bankโ€™s hierarchy, though no official confirmation of such protections exists. The latest alleged incident, captured on video, appears to show him expelling credit staff from a meeting over a five-minute delay, with reports suggesting that the employees had encountered transport disruptions due to planned demonstrations along Thika Road. Despite what some describe as a reasonable explanation for their lateness, he is said to have refused to engage in any discussion, instead instructing them to leave the meeting. Following the incident, affected employees are believed to have escalated their grievances to the relevant departments, but there are claims that the matter was not meaningfully addressed. Some staff now suggest that this lack of intervention has emboldened the officer, with reports emerging that his interactions with both colleagues and customers have become increasingly strained. One particularly concerning account describes an alleged confrontation on 25 January 2025, when he is said to have berated a client seeking assistance, along with the security personnel accompanying them. Witnesses claim that when customer service supervisors attempted to intervene, the situation escalated into a heated verbal exchange, drawing attention from other clients in the branch. "Hi Nyakundi. Hide my identity. There is this Equity Bank Credit Manager stationed at Kariobangi Branch by the name James Gakundi. The guy has been so unprofessional in dealing with staff and has even gone to the extent of almost engaging fellow staff in fistfights; it's been his mode of operation even from previous branches he has worked at. The guy seems to have a godfather because all the incidents are reported, and no action has ever been taken against him, and he even boasts about it, saying even if you report him to anybody within the ranks, there is nothing that will be done. On this particular video, he is pushing the credit staff out of the meeting for being 5 minutes late without listening to the reasons behind their lateness. The subject staff stay along Thika Road, and this specific day, the Gen Zs had planned for riots; hence there were matatus on the road. The guys tried their best to get to the office, but he became unruly and pushed them out as per the video. This incident was reported to the relevant departments, but since he has people who support him, the case never got resolved. However, he now became very sarcastic and bullish to the staff, with pride that no matter where you report him, nothing will ever be done to him. This is a corporate institution, but the guy has made it look like a casual mjengo organization where he threatens and intimidates staff and even customers. On 25th January 2025, he was harassing a customer who had visited his office for an inquiry together with the security lady who had accompanied the client to show her the office; when the customer service supervisors interjected, he blew out with noise and unruliness, prompting the clients who were in the office to interject. Is this the way Equity Managers are supposed to handle both staff and clients in this era of mental health awareness? Kindly expose this to the public."

A 21-year-old woman was allegedly murdered in broad daylight at the BC Road bus stand in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district on Thursday evening, sending shockwaves across Karnataka. The victim, identified as Lavanya, a resident of Kakkepadavu, worked at a private nursing home in Kalladka. Police said the accused, identified as Chethan, allegedly attacked her with a machete after she repeatedly rejected his advances. He was arrested within hours near Vamanjoor-Pacchanadi on the outskirts of Mangaluru following a coordinated police operation. The incident has sparked widespread outrage and renewed concerns over crimes linked to harassment and one-sided obsession. Police have registered a murder case and launched a detailed investigation into the circumstances leading to the attack. According to the police, Lavanya was returning home from work on Thursday, 16 July, at around 6 pm. She had boarded a KSRTC bus from Bantwal to Kakkepadavu after finishing her shift at the private nursing home in Kalladka. Police said Chethan, who is believed to be a distant relative of the victim, boarded the same bus and sat next to her. The accused had allegedly been pursuing Lavanya despite her repeatedly rejecting his advances. Sensing something was wrong, Lavanya reportedly called one of her relatives and informed them that a young man had sat beside her on the bus. The call was disconnected shortly afterwards. After Lavanya got off the bus at the BC Road bus stand, the accused allegedly followed her. Police said he then took out a machete from a bag and chased her. Despite her attempt to escape, he allegedly attacked her repeatedly before fleeing the scene. Police personnel from the Bantwal subdivision and Bantwal Town Police Station rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the incident and began an investigation. Lavanya, who sustained critical injuries, was immediately shifted to Bantwal Taluk Hospital. However, she succumbed to her injuries despite efforts to save her. After the attack, the accused allegedly fled towards Mangaluru in an Alto car. During his escape, he reportedly called Lavanya's father and told him that he had killed his daughter and intended to end his own life. Acting swiftly, the Bantwal subdivision police formed a special investigation team. Using mobile phone location data and CCTV footage, officers traced and arrested the accused along with the vehicle near Vamanjoor-Pacchanadi on the outskirts of Mangaluru. Police sources said the accused had allegedly created a disturbance at the private hospital where Lavanya worked about a month earlier. Hospital staff reportedly intervened and prevented the situation from escalating. Investigators are now examining whether the absence of a formal police complaint after the earlier incident contributed to the tragedy. Bantwal Town Police have registered a case and are continuing their investigation.
