This is such an interesting debate so I want to throw a question in the ring! What actually is talent in video games? It's not as clear cut as it is in real life sports. Let's take this perfect parry clip from when I started street fighter. Am I able to perfect parry because of talent? or is it because I've spent thousands of hours in FPS games and it transferred? Maybe its both? Was I able to climb so quickly in street fighter because of talent? Or is it because I've learned to play so many games that I know the process and have a blueprint that works? In my first few competitive games, minecraft, cs, and overwatch, I was very average for the first 6+ months and several hundred hours I played them. Would that mean I don't have talent, and everything is simply the result of hard work? 🤔 I've always believed talent speeds up how fast someone can get good at a game, and that efficient, hard work can catch up to talent until a certain point (IMO this point is only reached at a professional level). But what is talent? and how do you know you have it? Do you have to play for hundreds, even thousands of hours to realize that talent? these are the questions I cant figure out

Hot Take: This is exactly what is wrong in Rockstar Game’s mission design. During this section in GTA V; I got stuck my vehicle between some rocks and I was trying to get it out As soon as I managed to get un-stuck, the Rockstar’s hand holding mechanism kicked in and the game decided it was a mission failed, prompting me to retry the mission. I don’t think these unnecessary mission failed screens should appear so often, especially in GTA VI. This is somewhat of an exaggeration but you get the point, sometimes just trying to take a different route or approach during a mission will get you the mission failed screen Recent Rockstar Games are rated M (GTA 6 too probably), so I don’t understand why Rockstar likes to treat gamers who play these games like children. Anyone with a logical brain will know that they’re stuck so they can pause the screen to restart from a checkpoint or destroy the vehicle to get the mission failed screen. I really hope that GTA VI offers more freedom for players when it comes to approaching missions and situation like these ones.

Microsoft's own statement says Claude models remain accessible through Copilot CLI and Anthropic's Claude still runs inside Microsoft 365. The real story is that Microsoft's own product (GitHub Copilot) was being embarrassed by a competitor internally this is a platform strategy play, not a cost crisis call. And the post assumes token prices are rising and unsustainable but the actual data goes the other way. As Sam Altman said, a hard reasoning problem that cost X on the OpenAI API 18 months ago now costs 1,000x less. 1,000x in 18 months is just that doesn't happen very often. His stated mission is to relentlessly drive the cost of intelligence down as close to zero as possible and make it a low-cost asset available to the world. A16z separately documented a 10x cost decline per year for equivalent model performance and Nvidia's Blackwell platform delivered 4x to 10x inference cost reductions in production deployments in early 2026. Yes, Uber burned through its 2026 AI budget in four months. But look at why, 95% of engineers were using AI tools monthly, ~70% of committed code was AI-generated, and 11% of real-time backend updates were made autonomously by agents with zero human intervention. That's not an AI cost problem. That's a CFO who budgeted for a pilot and got a revolution. I owe no one an explanation but I'm going to do it. A real gamer that sees this game and checks each option very well will be certain that the last game will come.
