EX CRYSTAL PALACE PROSPECT IS SHINING IN NON-LEAGUE: brandon now has 5 goals in his last 2 games. The Croydon Athletic attacker has been in unbelievable form for the local club, scoring goals, assisting & flying past defenders like they are not there. A note last night in the first half. We really did play some excellent football. Whilst i know Ugbo is, rightfully, coming under some stick of his lack of goals, he offers so much more to how we play. As does Josh Windass, who I am noticing is just about getting the recognition he deserves from the fans. The play in the first half was very different to the second half when those 2 went off. They both offer so much more insofar as overall game than the other options we have in those areas. A few clips below from key moments in the first half. Windass really did run the show in the final third and build up. He comes out of areas to allow straight passes where he is an option for first time reverse balls. He and Pol have really good chemistry down the right as Josh knows he will overlap and beat his man. The awareness from Josh with scanning that i picked out, allowing for high tempo play into space. A note on data: First half vs second half Passes 193 (87% ACC) vs 159 (78% Acc) xG 2.04 vs 0.42 Penalty area entries: 11 vs 6 From runs: 4 vs 2 Touches in the box: 16 vs 7 Long pass rate: 8.29 vs 13.29 Passes per possession: 4.11 vs 2.96 Wedensday's overall game is so much better when U Our game is so much better when Windass and Ugbo play. 🔴 Phinisee at the Buzzer.. HE GOT IT ⚪️ December 15th, 2018 Indiana faces off against Butler in the Crossroads Classic. Both teams come in feeling good about where they are at. IU has already picked up a Top 25 win against Marquette and is 2-0 in the Big 10 looking to stack another quality win onto their resume. In this game Juwan Morgan would be absolutely dominant going 12-14 from the field and 4-6 from 3 for a career high, 35 points. But it would be Rob Phinisee who would shut the door on the Bulldogs. Quick Notes: - This team had so much promise. They were in the top 25 for a month and a half and then lost 12 of 13 games in the Big 10. - Juwan Morgan doesn’t get enough credit for how good he was. - Archie sucks. #iubb #NeverDaunted #HoosierArchives

Athletico Madrid v Spurs Well, here I am again in Madrid. It’s my 4th time & I’ve not seen us win yet 🤦🏻‍♂️ We all know what happened at the Metropolitano stadium the last time, so I’m hoping for better luck this time. Tudor needs to get this team Performing tonight or he could well be toast soon. I don’t think we will get a result like the last encounter in 1963 when we won 5-1 in the European Cup final. Make no mistake, Simeone’s team is hard to beat at home with an 80% win rate. Atleti are strong, but not vintage, but still, that home advantage is huge. I expect intensity from both teams,plenty of cards, and maybe goals both ways. Their attack is so frightening, which might explain why they’ve scored 24 goals already in the UCL. It’s a big concern when we’ve conceded 2 goals a game for our last 9 games, a club record. Sorloth is a big 6ft 5 Btec Haarland threat, as is the class of Alvarez, and you just know Lookman is going to score against us. They are, however, not as strong defensively as they used to be, so I’m hoping somehow we can exploit that. Despite our lack of goals, we just need to be able to take back something to the Lane next week. With the chance to play a back 3 with Cuti, MVDV, and Danso for the first time that I can remember with Porto and Spence, I’m more hopeful. For the first time, I watched an entire Turtleboy live last night. And what he did to Meredith was the exact same thing he did to Lindsey, Leigha before her, Kate before her, and to FAR too many other women to even name.
