Together with the UK Defence Secretary, John Healey, attended a service on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion at the UGCC UK. All these years, Ukrainians have been bravely fighting for their freedom and their future, when at the beginning we were told that there was no chance. We survived because we are a brave people. We survived because we are united. Together with our British friends, we pay tribute to all the victims of this war and to all who gave their lives for our country.

It has been one whole year since DustBia Official was created— a journey that began as a simple group supporting 𝗗𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗗𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗮, but grew into something so much deeper. Here we are, 365 days later, still standing and still loving them with the same heart we had at the very beginning. A year ago, we built more than just a fandom; 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲. Throughout this year, we have experienced everything together: the happiness, the kilig, the late-night fangirling, the laughter, the misunderstandings, and the challenges that tested us as a community. It truly has been a rollercoaster ride. There were highs that made us feel unstoppable and lows that made us question everything. But through it all, we stayed. 𝙒𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮. memories of XngHan and his friends (Heewon and Dahyun) 🍀 I transferred to SOPA during my first year of high school. At that time, those two—Heewon and Dahyun, who are members of CAN’T BE BLUE and also XngHan’s high school friends—were the first to approach me and become friendly. Because of that, I remained close with the friends I bonded with from the very beginning. 🍀 At our school, there were only two classes per major, so it was possible to be in the same class with the same classmates for all three years, and the probability of ending up in the same class was quite high—over 50%. I ended up being in the same class with them in both my first and third years. 🍀 We played basketball and soccer together, but we played basketball especially often. We also practiced together as a band many times.

Tonight marks the beginning of the holiday of Shavuot—a holiday of community and remembrance. We stand as one people, and recall the day we received the Torah and all of its blessings. One year ago today, our community at the Embassy of Israel lost two of our beloved members—Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky—in a heinous terror attack. A year later, we remember the light they brought into our lives and we mourn the hole in our hearts that they left behind.
