What complete nonsense. A maximum of 7 rounds to win a county final is not a bloated championship! The lack of respect for club players is shocking. An ill informed piece at best

Looking at Club Chsmpionship through the prism of both Tyrone & Mayo (straight knockout) is very unfair as they are in the minority. Stop this notion of ‘the tail wagging the dog’. Clubs deserve respect which is what’s lacking here.

Complete nonsense lads . Firstly to win a senior hurling county in Cork you play 6 games (possibly 5) Secondly, ye are asking 99% of G.A.A. population to wait around 3/4 of the year (til sept) to play “knockout” championship (potentially 1 game) . Heads up yere hole….
