THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT… 👏🏽🇿🇼 I must say, this young boy is certainly ONE FOR THE FUTURE. I was genuinely impressed by the confidence, intelligence and eloquence with which you presented your speech. At such a young age, to articulate yourself with such courage and composure is truly commendable. Well done young man — keep speaking boldly and DREAMING BIG. However, just a small POINT OF CORRECTION 😂😂😂… Honourable Tavengwa, Minister of State for Harare, is HONOURABLE, but he is not EXCELLENT. In Zimbabwe there is only ONE EXCELLENCY — His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Head of State and Government and Chancellor of all State Universities. That distinguished title belongs to the President. 🇿🇼👏🏽 I also developed greater interest when one PROMINENT BUT FAILED FEMALE POLITICIAN attacked these children, suggesting that allowing them to ask for things teaches them to become BEGGARS. I found that extremely unfortunate as there is absolutely nothing wrong with a young child dreaming of owning an iPhone 17 Pro Max. As adults, our responsibility is to GUIDE AND EDUCATE THEM, not insult or discourage them. If you have nothing meaningful to contribute to society or the less privileged, allow those with the capacity to assist to do what they can towards a better Zimbabwe. I'm pleased to say having heard your requests, instead of buying expensive phones, I will give EVERY JUNIOR PARLIAMENTARIAN US$1,500 EACH. 👏🏽💵 This is approximately the value of the phone you requested, but I would rather give you the money so it can be used towards EDUCATION, A SMALL PROJECT or something meaningful that can improve your future. 🚨 Big man alert 🚨 Everyone’s hunting for size in the portal. We’ve got one who you need to look at. Meet Ahjany Lee (6’9 1/2” on the tape with shoes on). Ahjany just wrapped up two seasons at HCU after beginning his career at the University of St. Thomas (MN) in the Summit League, where he played for one of the best mid-major coaches in the country in Johnny Tauer. Ahjany Lee: • Skilled, mobile big who rebounds, protects the rim, and is a legitimate pick-and-pop threat • Fully recovered from an October 2024 knee injury. Crushed it in the summer and early fall of 2024 and had earned our starting big man spot prior to the injury. Came back in 2025-26 and by the middle part of this season was comfortable, confident, and explosive (see included highlights). • Elite per-minute producer: At St. Thomas as an underclassmen he played 822 minutes across two seasons. He averaged 4.6 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and nearly 1 BPG in just 13.9 MPG (.508 FG / .364 3PT / .802 FT). Play him 28 minutes per game and those numbers are 9.2 PPG, 7.5 RPG, and 2 BPG. • Very intelligent, consistent work ethic, and high character. *Basketball family — Sister is Ayoka Lee who was a star at Kansas State. ⭐ SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD - UPSTAIRS AT THE GATEHOUSE ⭐ Let me get this out of the way first - THIS WAS SUBLIME - GO SEE IT! ! ! ✨ I was not overly familiar with Songs For A New World before seeing this production, so didn't really know what to expect. I knew it was a song cycle but that never really explains much lol 😅 BUT I was extremely pleasantly surprised by it, featuring a gorgeous collection of songs by Jason Robert Brown, most notably known for his iconic musical - The Last Five Years 😊 From the euphoric opening number "The New World", to the stunning ballad "Stars and the Moon" and the hilarious "Surabaya-Santa", the show is chock full of musical theatre favourites for you to discover (as I did) 😱 The cast are giving me VOCALS FOR DAYS, MONTHS & YEARS! ! ! 😂 This show is a HUGE sing and the incredibly talented cast, which includes Lizzy Parker, Luke Walsh, Eleanore Frances and Jonah Sercombe (making his professional debut in the show) all deliver beautifully, featuring soaring vocals and exquisite acting-through-song 🥹 The simple staging by director Kai Wright and lighting design by Jason Fenn, only enhance the intimacy of the show, keeping you laser focused on the performances 🎭 I have to mention the absolutely fantastic sound design by Glenn Oxenbury, which expertly amplified the brilliant band, led wonderfully by musical director Liam Holmes, and made sure the vocals sounded absolutely crystal clear. No small feat in a fringe venue.... BRAVO 👏👏👏 This production is an absolute MUST-SEE for fans of Jason Robert Brown and I urge to not to miss it! ! ! 😍 X x x

Reasons why this drama is going to be a hit: 1. Authenticity: Many Chinese viewers love a good wartime romance with a realistic setting, historical accuracy, and a plot full of angst. 2. Acting? No problem at all. Based solely on the trailers, BTS clips, and other previews, Cheng Lei and Xu Ruohan have already nailed it. They are perfectly matched for their roles and perfectly suited to this time period. I MEAN THIS IS CHENG LEI we're talking about ! I couldn't ask for a more fitting Pingjun and Changxuan! 3. Chemistry? Do we even need to go there? Even the poster alone drew me in to find out who they were and I didn't know them at all beforehand! It sent me down a rabbit hole researching the drama and the novel. Their chemistry is off the charts! I'm serious when I say they look phenomenal together as a pair even more so than with their other co-stars. And this isn't me being biased, bc I genuinely had no idea who they were before seeing that poster. 4. The Plot: We have the story of a young, arrogant warlord who falls hard for an innocent, upright, and pretty girl. It's an arranged marriage, and we get to watch them navigate life as a married couple while facing tough challenges stemming from their social differences. They endure separation due to civil war, struggle with an uncertain relationship, and eventually reunite as a family. Along the way, they experience deep regret, painful situations, and ultimately, forgiveness. 5. The History: As I mentioned, Chinese audiences love a plot that expertly blends real history with strong performances. The realistic settings from the clothing and locations down to the smallest details, like how people behaved then versus now and their daily lifestyles really sell the immersion. We need to be brave, show faith in the quality in the team, come out to play, and win. We won’t compromise the result or the principles of our game. We have the players, and domestically, we’ve been getting results. On continental turf, we’ve had contrasting outcomes: loss, draw, win. Now we have the chance to make it 2 wins in a row, giving us momentum for the next fixtures. The coaches have positively influenced games with substitutions, and today, on top of that, we need a strong start, willingness to control, and dominate the match to create better scoring opportunities. ■ Tactical Adjustments Our consistency has been an issue; we often change midfield pairings, like the one of Ndlovu and Maboe, too frequently. In the Betway Premiership, they’ve shown better composure and chemistry. Very exciting once they settle in possession with attacking flair, in continental football, our control is limited because we often have a mentality that forfeits possession. This mentality means we don’t always seek to control the game, and that limits us during moments when we need composure on the ball. We only managed 1 shot on target, which happened in the 2nd minute. That shot resulted in a goal from a rebound: Silva’s header hit the upright, and Pule Mmodi was onside to tap it in. Apart from those 2 moments in the 1st 2 minutes, we failed to test the goalkeeper for the rest of the match. The keeper made 0 saves, and we only had 5 attempts, with just that 1 goal as the only attempt on target. Our attacking quality was lacking; we couldn’t find Silva, and we got no spark from Mayo as a 10. Even with substitutions at halftime, we couldn’t improve our offensive quality. Our attack needed reshuffling, reviving, and clearer tactical blueprint. ■ ZESCO United’s Threats ZESCO United’s primary attacking threat comes from their left-hand side, particularly with Chilangoshi at LB and Kampamba at LW. Kampamba is a dynamic dribbler who consistently challenges opposing fullbacks, making it essential for Kaizer Chiefs to maintain defensive discipline. Our attacking quality was lacking; we couldn’t find Silva, and we got no spark from Mayo as a 10. Even with substitutions at halftime, we couldn’t improve our offensive quality. Our attack needed reshuffling, reviving, and clearer tactical blueprint. ■ ZESCO United’s Threats ZESCO United’s primary attacking threat comes from their left-hand side, particularly with Chilangoshi at LB and Kampamba at LW. Kampamba is a dynamic dribbler who consistently challenges opposing fullbacks, making it essential for Kaizer Chiefs to maintain defensive discipline. Keeping Solomons on the pitch will be crucial for effective defensive recovery. They also have strong CB. Today, we suffocate them with pressure, maintain attacking intensity, fight for every ball, and we make better decisions in the final 3rd.
