The LIV Golf League has made major changes to the format of the Team Championship, including a preliminary round to be played on Wednesday between teams ranked 12 and 13 in the season long standings. There will also be no byes for top seeded teams. The losing team from the preliminary round will be fully eliminated and will take no further part in the competition. On Friday, there will be 6 quarter finals matches, where all 12 remaining teams will face off in head to head match play. The captains of the top seeded teams have the opportunity to choose their opponents as in previous years. The format is also the same, with 2 singles matches and 1 foursomes match, with 2 points needed to advance. On Saturday, all 12 teams will be divided into 2 brackets. The Championship Bracket, with the winning teams from Friday, and the Rankings Bracket, with the 6 teams who lost. Once again, seeded team captains can select who they play against and the format remains 2 singles matches and 1 foursomes. On Sunday, a champion will be decided and they revert back to the standard team format of the regular season, individual strokeplay with all 4 scores counting towards the team total. The 3 winning teams from the Championship Bracket will face off for the championship rings and the remaining 9 teams will play in their Rankings Brackets for minor places. Ripper GC, captained by Cam Smith will be looking to defend the title they won last season. The previous winners are Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC and Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces GC. When Chapman tells him, “Brother, you’ve been here since 7 in the morning messing around,” there’s a context that many people are ignoring. From my experience, after spending many years working closely with MLB players, I know very well that there are people who aren’t simply looking for an autograph as fans. Some collect autographs with the intention of selling them later and making money from them. And pay attention to another detail: the type of pen he’s using. It doesn’t appear to be an ordinary pen. That type of tool can potentially be used to facilitate the reproduction of signatures. Can a real fan wait hours for an autograph? Absolutely. But when a player has been seeing the same person since 7:00 a.m. and eventually tells him that he’s been “messing around” there all day, there is clearly more to the story than what we’re seeing in those 20 seconds. Before judging Chapman based on a 20-second video, you need to understand what happens behind the scenes. #AroldisChapman #MLB #Baseball

On the 16th of March 2025, Earshot was contacted by activists in Serbia to investigate the potential use of sonic weapons by the government on a crowd of protestors as they were holding a silent vigil for the victims of the Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse. Earshot received 12 videos that document the moments where a weapon was allegedly used against the protestors. 4 of these videos contain a sound consistent with the noise produced by a Vortex Ring Gun or Vortex Cannon. As this weapon pushes gas out of its cylinder at speeds of 185mph, its expulsion produces a howling noise which has been compared to a jet engine, along with vortex rings that may be ionized. This would create electromagnetic interference with devices such as hearing aids, corroborating reports made by witnesses at the protest. Should this be the vortex cannon, these recordings would be more than 700m away. At this distance the combustion of the weapon is no longer audible; only the distinct whistling sound of the pressure wave as it travels away from the shooter location and towards the crowd can be heard, causing mass panic. As Earshot is looking to further investigate this incident, we ask anyone with video footage from that night that captures the specific sound that can be heard in this post to get in touch with us.

🐾 Exclusive: Puppy abuse caught on camera but questions over official investigation linger Iredell County, North Carolina — After receiving several emails from people familiar with the situation, we looked into a troubling video involving a dog named Goose. The footage, said to be from a security camera at the individual's home, allegedly shows Frederick Marsian of Troutman , North Carolina using extreme “discipline” including manhandling the dog and using a taser after the dog reportedly got into the trash. Sources claim this was not an isolated incident and say he has previously gotten rid of other dogs, including a puppy and a German shepherd, and has used a taser on animals multiple times. Sources say three dogs live in the home with Marsian and girlfriend Madison Harmon, who reportedly claims Goose, in the video, is her dog. The other animals reportedly include a puppy rescued from a Walmart parking lot and a blue heeler mix named Winnie, said to have been given to Marsian by his mother. The young puppy was allegedly left in a crate for more than 14 hours at a time with minimal food and water. Marsian has reportedly said the sheriff had already checked on the dog and that there would be no consequences. Now we're hearing from sources that the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said the incident could potentially be treated as a misdemeanor and that they are now looking into the situation. 🐶 Let's make sure that this dog gets justice.
