David Friedberg: The Socialists Are Coming for Your Private Property Rights At a recent hearing held by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a speaker equated evictions with violence. david friedberg says this demonization of landlords and the good/evil moralistic framing are signals that socialists are trying to erode private property rights in America. โ€œIn 1787, John Quincy Adams had a comment, โ€˜The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.โ€™ Private property rights are the foundations of liberty in America. Because if you think about where everyone that came to America was coming from, there were these tyrannical governments where some overlord or some cabal could decide at any point to take the things that you have. You had no private property rights as an individual. And it was that stasis that drove so many to come to the United States and say, โ€˜We want a place where individuals, one person, can say, I own something, and no one can take it from me.โ€™ This idea that you can then claim acts of violence, that you can then claim circumstances of extraordinary extravagant wealth, and say to that individual, โ€˜I now have a right, the government now has a right to take your private property,โ€™ ultimately leads to this tyrannical form. And it starts out as being anarchic, and remember, anarchy is a temporary state. It's always in between one state and another. All anarchies end up in tyranny, so anarchy and tyranny are one in the same. And fundamentally, what's going on with these socialist principles is that, โ€˜We are taking your private property, and you no longer have rights on your private property. We now will have the right to come in and take your property and control it and take it from you.โ€™ And it always starts with this framing of moralistic intent. โ€˜We are good, you are bad for the following reasons. You have committed violence against the people that live in your building.โ€™ So the first framing is that the private property owner is evil, and that the private property owner has committed an act of injustice against those who don't have the private property. And that is the justification for taking away their private property rights. And it is the beginning of this transition towards a tyrannical system, which will ultimately be what I call this kind of Great American Politburo or whatever socialist framework gets set up by the cabal of the socialists and what they're trying to put together. So all of these little acts, while seeming ridiculous, and insane, and inappropriate, in aggregate are the same thing: They're a transition away from private property rights, which is the foundation of the United States of America. That's why I think we should all be so shocked. And to John Quincy Adams' point, we need to vehemently defend those rights. As soon as those rights start to slip away, even in the tiniest way, it is a cascading effect, and everything will become tyrannical, and it will be very ugly in the United States of America.โ€

David Friedberg warns that Mamdani and fellow socialists frame their assaults on private property as moral justice against โ€œevilโ€ landlords and the wealthy. This is one of the best breakdowns on Mamdani and the Democratic Socialists I've seen. Must watch! Friedberg: โ€œThis idea that you can then claim acts of violenceโ€”that you can then claim circumstances of extraordinary, extravagant wealth and say to that individual, โ€˜I now have a rightโ€”the government has a rightโ€”to take your private propertyโ€™ ultimately leads to this tyrannical form. And it starts out as being anarchic because, remember, anarchy is a temporary stateโ€”itโ€™s always between one state and another. All anarchies end up in tyranny. Groups of people fighting each other. Theyโ€™re all stealing **** from each other. Everyone just goes and takes and gets what they want, and eventually people coalesce. They form groups, and those groups become the more powerful groups. And the powerful groups end up winning. And they become the tyranny over the mass. And that is why all anarchies eventually evolve into tyranny. So anarchy and tyranny are one and the same. And fundamentally whatโ€™s going on with these socialist principles is that we are taking your private property, and you no longer have rights to your private propertyโ€”whether you are a landlord or whether you are a wealthy person that weโ€™ve deemed to have too much wealth. We now have the rights to come in and take your property and control it and take it from you. And it always starts with this framing of moralistic intent: โ€˜We are good and you are bad for the following reason. You have committed violence against the people; in your building you have taken too much wealth. And none of us have wealth. We have a right to go and take your wealth from you.โ€™ It has always started from this point of view that you are bad. So the first framing is that the private property owner is evil and that the private property owner has committed an act of injustice against those who donโ€™t have the private property, and that is the justification for taking away their private property rights. And it is the beginning of this transition towards a tyrannical system which will ultimately be what I call this kind of great American Politburo or whatever socialist framework gets set up by the cabal of the socialists and what theyโ€™re trying to put together. So all of these little acts, while seeming ridiculous and insane and inappropriate, in aggregate are the same thing. Every song release is a big deal. This song has waited a long time to have its moment. I remember when Sara, Sam and I wrote Fragile (the same day we wrote another song called Madness), it held a special place in my soul as a human. So much so, that it kept disappearing from different projects as if to wait for the right moment to be introduced to the world. Being on Evergreen, song release number 3โ€ฆ itโ€™s crazy how things work themselves out for the best when you trust the process. I always wanted to change the lyrics of the first line because I was afraid it wouldnโ€™t make sense. But the more I worked with it, the more personal it became, and the more truth it carried. I would tell you what it means to me, but I want to hear how all of you connect with it first, so Iโ€™ll just say thisโ€ฆ This one is for anyone in a season of life where the structure of you that youโ€™ve built for the world needs to take a break and make space to care for the human inside. Whether you have those people, or that person in your life that loves and supports that human, or youโ€™re looking forward to meeting that person someday, this is for you. You deserve to be the human you are, and you deserve to be loved and seen for that human. And if you havenโ€™t felt it yet, I canโ€™t wait for you to feel what itโ€™s like to find someone who makes you feel safe enough to be Fragile.

Sometimes I sit and look around without blinking, trying to understand how everyone's mentality works or how one person comes to feel inferior to another. Although I spend hours analyzing everyone's behavior and way of communication, I cannot realize the superior way of thinking of some people. Why do they think they are superior to others or why do they show ignorance and criticism towards individuals who, in terms of mentality and humanity, are perhaps much more developed than them? But no one can explain the way of thinking of those around. However, I would like to give my opinion about each kind of individual involved in such a conversation. For those who think they are superior to others... Take a break from your daily lives to look in the mirror without the mask you wear daily in front of others. Look closely at yourself without embarrassment or prejudice and analyze every element of your life that makes you who you are. Ask yourself if the way you treat others would you like to be applied to you. Think before you open your mouth and criticize, nobody and nothing is perfect in the world. Look and think before you speak and accuse. Those who think they are inferior I tell you this.... Look carefully in the mirror and see the beauty that defines your existence. Not the clothes, not the money, not the social status, not the nationality, not the physical appearance, not the years of advanced education, not the social life and not the profession you profess will make you beautiful and wonderful. But your humanity and soul show who you really are and how valuable you are. And you don't have to be important for someone else, be important for yourself, for your happiness, for your future, for what you believe and what you love. Love yourself before you love anyone else, accept your own flaws and love what you stand for. You are perfect exactly as you are, look and love what you see in the mirror because that reflection is the definition of the beauty of the soul and the uniqueness that you possess. Be yourself and learn to love what you stand for, you are a star that shines forever. Army no one knows what tomorrow will bring and no one can change what yesterday was but I what I can say is that we can all live today, live in the moment and enjoy every day like is the last one. With no regrets or resentment, no hatred or sadness but just a smile, a smile so bright that will melt even the coldest heart. Be yourself, love yourself โค๏ธ Because I love you ๐ŸŒน

I usually donโ€™t watch Kโ€‘movies, but my schedule is wide open while Iโ€™m waiting for new episodes and Kโ€‘dramas to drop. So I decided to check out this Kโ€‘movie that just landed on Netflix and honestly, Iโ€™m glad I did. This one isnโ€™t your typical loud romance or dramatic rollercoaster itโ€™s quiet, soft, and emotional in a way that really sinks into your chest. From the first scene, it feels like watching real people people who hurt, who hide, who are afraid to let themselves be seen until someone finally does. The three main characters are perfect, they donโ€™t make grand declarations, and nothing about their story is flashy and honestly, thatโ€™s what makes it so beautiful. I donโ€™t want to give too much away, but this movie is about loneliness, connection, and healing in the smallest moments like the way two people make eye contact, or how someone speaks before they realize theyโ€™re saying something real. The acting is so freaking good. You feel every glance, every silence. The pacing is gentle not rushed and you actually get time to sit in the emotions. Itโ€™s the kind of movie that stays with you long after you press play. Itโ€™s not perfect for everyone if you want big twists or loud drama, this isnโ€™t that. But if you want something heartfelt, honest, and quietly powerful you need to watch Pavane. Trust me. Go stream it. Youโ€™ll understand what I mean. #Pavane

kinjaz's mike song talks about hanging out with bailey sok and #jacksonwang during the kcon weekend in la, and highlighted their respect for dance "..and then you have jackson in the room, who is this other wild titan who, you know, his version is in pushing for dances. and he joined kinjaz after being an artist, after being a globally recognized artist. he joins the crew, and i know a lot of people might think that that's just something he says, but beyond having the kinjaz choreographer dance behind him, he is literally down to be a member of the crew. he has actually performed as a kinja fully masked, and just as a member of the crew. he did that by choice, because he wanted to have that experience, and not be "jackson" in front of the kinjaz. he literally, you can look it up, if you look at our cartier x kinjaz trinity performance from last year, that was a whole event that was produced by jackson and his team, but the guest performance was by kinjaz, and jackson is performing just as one of the crew members in that. he's not a musical performance, he's picking up props and pushing... he's literally lifting dancers and literally being a crew member. and i just say that, i bring that up in this overarching theme, as like, i think he's just another person where i want to give flowers to for putting dance on that level and being down to just be a part of the crew and respect dance on that level. and i feel like, yeah, i just want to give my flowers to jackson and bailey as fellow kinjaz, but also, like, global titans that are really pushing the envelope for dance, and it really makes me hopeful and grateful that we're in this kind of chapter."

Thereโ€™s a new claim that โ€œessentially, all that happened was Trump got tired, took control and forced it on Netanyahu, and this is basically the same deal that could have been reached a year earlier,โ€ with the disturbing implication, thatโ€™s horrible to say, that IDF soldiers died in vain for a cause that had already been achieved. So, letโ€™s revisit the plans that were laid out by both the current and former American administrations to see if they match up. For example, the Biden plan from June 1, 2024, which was met with considerable enthusiasm, and was even later acknowledged as Netanyahuโ€™s plan. I want to highlight the difference. In the first phase, the IDF should have already pulled back to roughly its current position, and then it was just about releasing humanitarian hostages. As if not all of them are โ€œhumanitarian.โ€ Then it transitioned to discussing the release of living hostages. In this phase, the IDF would withdraw from all of Gaza, until the last centimetre, while all the dead hostages remain in Gaza. Itโ€™s as different as day and night. Here, everyone is returning, including the dead, and the IDF is still in half of Gaza. This isnโ€™t just about some desire to maintain an occupation or garrison force, but rather to ensure that Hamas disarms โ€” something that didnโ€™t happen in the Biden proposal. So now letโ€™s move on to the Witkoff plan, much closer to us, much better for Israel, but still different. There was talk of releasing half of the dead hostages, but then a temporary ceasefire for two months of negotiations to end the war, and then the IDF would withdraw from more places than it is now, and there would be a guarantee that the war would not be renewed. Once again, we see that there was no connection between the IDF remaining on the ground and the promise that Hamas would disarm, especially while some of the hostages are still there. The greatness of this outline is this issue. I also want to say something general about the matter of responsibility. As ridiculous as it was on October 7 and afterwards to hear from Netanyahuโ€™s supporters that the one who is to blame is the IDF chief of staff, the Shin Bet chief, the attorney general and the Military Advocate General, and that Netanyahu has no part in it โ€” itโ€™s as ridiculous as it is that now theyโ€™re saying, โ€œThank you Trump and thank you Nitzan Alon, and thank you to all of them and to the Qatari prime minister, and Netanyahu and Ron Dermer have nothing to do with it at all.โ€ Indeed, Netanyahu had a very large part in the failure of October 7, and he also has a very large part together with Dermer in this deal. By the way, how does that connect to what Kushner said tonight in Egypt? He said that both the prime minister and Dermer made very big compromises and took risks to see the end of the war. I would like to make a suggestion. Once upon a time, when there was only one channel and people didnโ€™t like the commentators, they said, โ€œWatch the game without the commentary.โ€ I say, letโ€™s watch Trump and Netanyahuโ€™s move without the commentary, because there are a lot of conversations, and this and that, and slander, and sometimes even quotes, but in practice there has never been a president and a prime minister who acted like this, and the results are evident from Iran, through the Golan Heights, through the embassy and now Gaza.

.DHH credits Marc Andreessen Marc Andreessen ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ with helping him the most during the darkest time of his professional life: "It was during that rough going where Andreessen came in. We were a small company of 60 people and 20 took the offer and left. That's almost a third of the company that decided to leave and we got to a point where we were thinking that not many more have to leave before we need to worry about whether we can keep the lights on. And it was actually Tobi who then put me in contact with Marc Andreessen because Marc had been exposed to this phenomenon at some of his portfolio companies. And Marc gave us reassurance and a bunch of contacts. Marc said, "Do you need someone to come in to help do programming or help with operations or whatever?" And I was floored by the generosity because Marc and I haven't always seen eye to eye on things. Especially in terms of venture capital. He's been one of the main faces of venture capital for decades and I've been kind of critical at times. And it was just a realization that all those grievances we might have thought to be so big once upon a time were actually minuscule. We were fighting the white walkers on the other side of the wall and all our internal squabbles were going to be for nothing if those f*ckers got inside the wall and destroyed everything. And that felt like a real threat at the time. That could've happened. They could very well have just ripped the whole thing apart. And Marc clearly saw that that this was a collective, almost existential threat to the entire industry. If these activists were able to take over these institutions in the same way that they have taken over academia we would be f*cked and not just for a little while but potentially for decades. That couldn't stand. And Marc was incredibly helpful not just in terms of these contacts and introductions and so on but it was very powerful. When you have literally 40,000 people on Twitter calling you all the worst things in the world even the strongest individual might go for a second like "Holy sh*t. The mob is coming for me and there's no one else there." And there are other people there. Tobi was there. Marc was there. And it was incredibly helpful to give us the fortitude to go like "No do you know what? We're going to stick with it. We're not going to grovel. We're not going to apologize. We're not going to revert." And then what Marc also did was he gave me a syllabus for understanding the history of wokeness going all the way back to the '60s and beyond. That this didn't just come as lightning from a blue sky. This had an institutional grounding that was set in motion particularly in the '60s and the long march through the institutions, Herbert Marcuse and a lot of The Frankfurt School and all of these groups that had designs on how to reshape society and create the revolution they so dearly wanted, but with a timeline and a roadmap that was demarcated in decades. That it wasn't just like "Well we're going to put something together and then in two years something's going to happen." No they were sitting in the fucking '60s fantasizing about how to overthrow everything in the 2000s. It's actually incredible in a Dr. Evil sense of it but when you're on the receiving end of it it seemed a little less incredible and it was just difficult not knowing where's this coming from? Why is this happening all of a sudden? Well it wasn't happening all of a sudden. There was this long history of it and when you understood that history it made a lot more sense. We weren't just making a rejection for our little corner of the world. We were chipping in in the great civilizational battle of where this country was going to go, whether the white walkers beyond the wall were going to win. And we were like "No they're not going to f*cking win. Get them out of that f*cking wall. Take your goddamn spear and fire it with maximum velocity."

My mormons, "You are not a member of an organization. You are a member of a people, and you forget the difference at your peril. An organization has employees and customers and a mission statement. A people has martyrs. A people has graves it can point to, ground soaked with its own blood, stories that begin with "your fathers" and mean it. The world will tell you that Mormonism is a religion you happen to hold, a set of beliefs you could set down tomorrow and remain exactly who you are. The world is lying. You cannot separate the faith from the people who bled for it, because they were never two things. The pioneer past is not the backstory of Mormonism. It is the body of it. Carthage is not history you learn. It is inheritance you carry. The handcart companies are not an episode in a manual. They are your dead, your line, your tribe, and the covenant that binds you to God binds you just as surely to them. This is the thing the modern Saint has forgotten, and the forgetting is a kind of orphaning. We speak of "the pioneers" as though they were someone else's ancestors, figures in a diorama, a heritage month. They are not someone else's. Whether your blood crossed the plains or your baptism grafted you into the vine last spring, they are yours now, fully yours, because that is what it means to be sealed into a covenant people: their story becomes your story, their martyrs become your martyrs, their dead become your dead. The convert from Manila and the seventh-generation rancher from Cache Valley stand in the same line, heirs of the same graves. Joseph and Hyrum did not die for an institution. They died for a people that did not fully exist yet, a people they could see only by faith, and you are that people. Their blood is in your spiritual veins. When you take the sacrament, you take it as one of them. When you enter the temple, you enter on ground their sacrifice purchased. You cannot claim the gospel and disown the tribe that carried it, because the gospel came to you inside that tribe, wrapped in its stories, paid for with its suffering, handed down grave by grave until it reached your hands. And a people who know they are a people cannot be broken the way scattered individuals can. This is why the world works so hard to convince you that your faith is private, personal, just one option in the marketplace of beliefs. A lone believer can be picked off, worn down, embarrassed out of his convictions one awkward conversation at a time. A member of a tribe with martyrs cannot, because he does not stand alone, and he knows it. He stands in a line that runs back through the valley and the plains and the frozen rivers to a jail in Illinois, and the line stands in him. So claim your people. Say "my martyrs" and mean it. Say "my dead" and feel the weight of it. Take your children to the graves of the pioneers and teach them that these are not strangers, these are ours, this is who we are and what we came from and what it cost. Because the day you understand that you belong to a people, the mockery of the world loses its power over you entirely. They are laughing at your tribe. And your tribe buried its children in the snow and kept walking, and outlasted every mob and every extermination order and every laughing generation since. You come from the unbreakable."

I see the player you mean. PLAYERNAME? Yes. Take care. It has reached a higher level now. It can read our thoughts. That doesn't matter. It thinks we are part of the game. I like this player. It played well. It did not give up. It is reading our thoughts as though they were words on a screen. That is how it chooses to imagine many things, when it is deep in the dream of a game. Words make a wonderful interface. Very flexible. And less terrifying than staring at the reality behind the screen. They used to hear voices. Before players could read. Back in the days when those who did not play called the players witches, and warlocks. And players dreamed they flew through the air, on sticks powered by demons. What did this player dream? This player dreamed of sunlight and trees. Of fire and water. It dreamed it created. And it dreamed it destroyed. It dreamed it hunted, and was hunted. It dreamed of shelter. Hah, the original interface. A million years old, and it still works. But what true structure did this player create, in the reality behind the screen? It worked, with a million others, to sculpt a true world in a fold of the [scrambled], and created a [scrambled] for [scrambled], in the [scrambled]. It cannot read that thought. No. It has not yet achieved the highest level. That, it must achieve in the long dream of life, not the short dream of a game. Does it know that we love it? That the universe is kind? Sometimes, through the noise of its thoughts, it hears the universe, yes. But there are times it is sad, in the long dream. It creates worlds that have no summer, and it shivers under a black sun, and it takes its sad creation for reality. To cure it of sorrow would destroy it. The sorrow is part of its own private task. We cannot interfere. Sometimes when they are deep in dreams, I want to tell them, they are building true worlds in reality. Sometimes I want to tell them of their importance to the universe. Sometimes, when they have not made a true connection in a while, I want to help them to speak the word they fear. It reads our thoughts. Sometimes I do not care. Sometimes I wish to tell them, this world you take for truth is merely [scrambled] and [scrambled], I wish to tell them that they are [scrambled] in the [scrambled]. They see so little of reality, in their long dream. And yet they play the game. But it would be so easy to tell them... Too strong for this dream. To tell them how to live is to prevent them living. I will not tell the player how to live. The player is growing restless. I will tell the player a story. But not the truth. No. A story that contains the truth safely, in a cage of words. Not the naked truth that can burn over any distance. Give it a body, again. Yes. Player... Use its name. PLAYERNAME. Player of games. Good. Take a breath, now. Take another. Feel air in your lungs. Let your limbs return. Yes, move your fingers. Have a body again, under gravity, in air. Respawn in the long dream. There you are. Your body touching the universe again at every point, as though you were separate things. As though we were separate things. Who are we? Once we were called the spirit of the mountain. Father sun, mother moon. Ancestral spirits, animal spirits. Jinn. Ghosts. The green man. Then gods, demons. Angels. Poltergeists. Aliens, extraterrestrials. Leptons, quarks. The words change. We do not change. We are the universe. We are everything you think isn't you. You are looking at us now, through your skin and your eyes. And why does the universe touch your skin, and throw light on you? To see you, player. To know you. And to be known. I shall tell you a story. Once upon a time, there was a player. The player was you, PLAYERNAME. Sometimes it thought itself human, on the thin crust of a spinning globe of molten rock. The ball of molten rock circled a ball of blazing gas that was three hundred and thirty thousand times more massive than it. They were so far apart that light took eight minutes to cross the gap. The light was information from a star, and it could burn your skin from a hundred and fifty million kilometres away. Sometimes the player dreamed it was a miner, on the surface of a world that was flat, and infinite. The sun was a square of white. The days were short; there was much to do; and death was a temporary inconvenience. Sometimes the player dreamed it was lost in a story. Sometimes the player dreamed it was other things, in other places. Sometimes these dreams were disturbing. Sometimes very beautiful indeed. Sometimes the player woke from one dream into another, then woke from that into a third. Sometimes the player dreamed it watched words on a screen. Let's go back. The atoms of the player were scattered in the grass, in the rivers, in the air, in the ground. A woman gathered the atoms; she drank and ate and inhaled; and the woman assembled the player, in her body. And the player awoke, from the warm, dark world of its mother's body, into the long dream. And the player was a new story, never told before, written in letters of DNA. And the player was a new program, never run before, generated by a sourcecode a billion years old. And the player was a new human, never alive before, made from nothing but milk and love. You are the player. The story. The program. The human. Made from nothing but milk and love. Let's go further back. The seven billion billion billion atoms of the player's body were created, long before this game, in the heart of a star. So the player, too, is information from a star. And the player moves through a story, which is a forest of information planted by a man called Julian, on a flat, infinite world created by a man called Markus, that exists inside a small, private world created by the player, who inhabits a universe created by... Shush. Sometimes the player created a small, private world that was soft and warm and simple. Sometimes hard, and cold, and complicated. Sometimes it built a model of the universe in its head; flecks of energy, moving through vast empty spaces. Sometimes it called those flecks "electrons" and "protons". Sometimes it called them "planets" and "stars". Sometimes it believed it was in a universe that was made of energy that was made of offs and ons; zeros and ones; lines of code. Sometimes it believed it was playing a game. Sometimes it believed it was reading words on a screen. You are the player, reading words... Shush... Sometimes the player read lines of code on a screen. Decoded them into words; decoded words into meaning; decoded meaning into feelings, emotions, theories, ideas, and the player started to breathe faster and deeper and realised it was alive, it was alive, those thousand deaths had not been real, the player was alive You. You. You are alive. and sometimes the player believed the universe had spoken to it through the sunlight that came through the shuffling leaves of the summer trees and sometimes the player believed the universe had spoken to it through the light that fell from the crisp night sky of winter, where a fleck of light in the corner of the player's eye might be a star a million times as massive as the sun, boiling its planets to plasma in order to be visible for a moment to the player, walking home at the far side of the universe, suddenly smelling food, almost at the familiar door, about to dream again and sometimes the player believed the universe had spoken to it through the zeros and ones, through the electricity of the world, through the scrolling words on a screen at the end of a dream and the universe said I love you and the universe said you have played the game well and the universe said everything you need is within you and the universe said you are stronger than you know and the universe said you are the daylight and the universe said you are the night and the universe said the darkness you fight is within you and the universe said the light you seek is within you and the universe said you are not alone and the universe said you are not separate from every other thing and the universe said you are the universe tasting itself, talking to itself, reading its own code and the universe said I love you because you are love. And the game was over and the player woke up from the dream. And the player began a new dream. And the player dreamed again, dreamed better. And the player was the universe. And the player was love. You are the player. Wake up.

โ€œWhat did you think of Lando being booed at race because people and I've seen it online as well say he doesn't deserve the title because McLaren favored him over his teammate. Do you think that's total nonsense?โ€ Jacques Villeneuve: โ€œThat's a little bit ridiculous. When there was some booing in some races, that was embarrassing. You should never boo a driver that's clean, doesn't do anything dirty, on track is respectful, and on top of it is super fast. What's wrong with people? That was embarrassing. And, had it been that Piastri was a second a lap faster than him and somehow Lando was winning because a lot of things were happening, his car breaking down every time, then you could start thinking, okay, that's really not cool. That's not fair. But that wasn't the case. And in the second half, Norris has been faster right at the beginning as well, last year as well. So there's this whole middle of the season where Piastri was driving a lot better than Norris and was getting the points. Norris had an engine blowing up, not Piastri. And so those fans, they don't look at that either. You have to look at the whole picture, at the whole season. And suddenly if your favorite is starting to go backwards, you just got to bite the bullet and accept it. Your favorite is just going backwards. That doesn't mean that the other one is treated better or the other one is undeserving just because the one you're a fan of is not winning right now. Thatโ€™s really wrong. If you're a fan of the sport, then you have to be a fan of the sport and understand when your driver is maybe not cutting it at this point in time, even though he was before and he will in the future again. It's all a question of timing. But that's the price we have to pay now with social media and how big F1 has become. It's very passionate. The people are passionate and once, you know, fans come from fanatism, you stop thinking, when you get in that mindset and it happens to all of us. You want something so much that you get attached and you cannot - it's hard to start seeing reality. So you will try to mold the reality to your thought process and if your champion is not winning then it cannot be his fault. It has to be something from the outside. It has to be the team destroying his chance or not favoring and so on and so on and so on. But there's nothing concrete behind those comments. It's pure fandom and it'll always be like this. And ultimately it's not a bad thing. You know drivers at that - sportsman at that level have to grow a thick skin. If not, you don't deserve to be there. You just have to have a thick skin because they're all very happy to get the compliments. They love it when it's just positive, but it gets balanced out with negatives and you need to be able to take and accept the negatives as well. It goes both ways. You cannot have the good. You just have to be a thick skin and know that it's part and parcels of what's going on. And in one month, it will be forgotten and maybe everything will change and it be the other driver that suddenly will be criticized and so on. So, it's just that's just the way it is.โ€

THIS PASTOR IN SOUTH AFRICA ATTEMPTED TO DESTROY A FAMILY ALTAR WITHOUT FULLY GIVING HIMSELF TO GOD A pastor is currently trending in south Africa for what happened to him after he carried a family to a bush and attempted to destroy a family altar that was responsible for all mischief happening to a certain household. Witchcraft is not superstition nor it it limited to Africa. It is a practice of evil, clearly recorded as existing in the bible. Many of those who dispute its existence want you to live in denial so that it can work against you. This pastor went in the bush and was shown a tree with an opening, to which the family members pointed and said was an altar, and there was a demonic being residing and fulfilling the covenant of evil spoken against that family. It is safe to say that this man was not living a life of constant prayer and fasting and seclusion from the things of the world, as there was no spiritual command. (This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting). He said the name of Jesus twice and held his bible and then put his hand inside the tree commanding whatever was in there to be destroyed. However, this man soon started screaming and said he had been attacked, and was eventually taken to the hospital. It is not just about screaming the name of Jesus. You need to be a vessel dedicated to God through living a Holy and fasted life. Acts 19:14-16 Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, โ€œJesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?โ€ Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against [b]them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. Attached is the video of what happened

๐Ÿงต1/ Iโ€™m back from a short trip on a social network with photographs and videos from Gaza, with some brief personal conclusions. First, it is quite clear that there are those in Gaza who know how to make extensive use of the networks and social media for the purposes of emotional extortion and also false propaganda, exactly like they live streamed the October 7 massacre and somehow turned it into โ€œjustified resistanceโ€, they use quite a few Western buzzwords such as โ€œgenocideโ€, โ€œoccupationโ€, โ€œoppressionโ€ and โ€œZionismโ€- and this is the simplest way to distinguish between Hamas propaganda posts and authentic people in Gaza, whom Iโ€™ve known all my life, who use much simpler words and not this indoctrinated manipulation bullshit. I was looking for THESE authentic people - the real voices. And I think I found a few. So first of all, what do I think there is NOT happening in Gaza? There is no genocide and no famine. Yes, there is quite a lot of suffering, shortages in some places and lack of decent shelter etc. And thereโ€™s a lot of cynical exploitation of it for propaganda purposes. Iโ€™m saying it because you can see children are getting payed for it, you can see the absolute control of distribution and you can see how basic needs and the way out is blocked with money- Israel is not taking money for any of it, the West is sending free aid, so the money is demanded by those who want to control the suffering and use it. You should know, that before the war - there was already quite a lot of very poor population in Gaza, but now the economic difficulty has greatly increased for two main reasons: one, the war damaged many sources of livelihood and the second - a major source of livelihood was working in Israel and this option was closed for a long time now, since October 7, and is now much less operational. So in fact the main source of income is donations and funding from Hamas for control purposes of course. This is how, among other things, Hamas uses the population to "work for them", and also to smile or cry for the cameras on demand. Now on the issue of claimed famine- famine is when thereโ€™s NO food and water, enough for the population. As I said, my personal conclusion is that there is no shortage of food and water in Gaza at all. The problem is that the food is not distributed equally, it is controlled by those who are powerful (usually Hamas operatives) and then sold at high costs to the population without them having sources of livelihood. Food that should be distributed for #free is actually sold at a high price, the shelter tents are also paid for and the exit from Gaza is particularly expensive (5000$ that are paid to the transporters). There are quite a few who refer to Gaza as a "prison" but Gaza is not a prison, Hamas has simply created a situation where it is very expensive to leave it - and thus the poor and the new poor are completely dependent on Hamas and other clans (Hamulas) in everything to do with food, shelter and exit, and they play with them as pawns. If Gaza is a prison - then itโ€™s because Hamas are imprisoning it. All the suffering in Gaza started because of #Hamas it continues and increases because of #Hamas, but the main point is that #Hamas is also the one factor that can stop it. If Hamas surrendered unconditionally and released the Israeli hostages, as done in any war in which you are forced to admit defeat - they would truly liberate Palestine. Remember- this is a war that #Hamas started, a war that on Oct. 7 was celebrated in the streets of Gaza. But #Hamas prefers to keep the Palestinians captive so that it can showcase suffering (which they create) and use it as a tool for financial donations, manipulation of the West and a messianic jihadist war that will never end for them. If the West doesnโ€™t wake up to this ongoing manipulation- they will never help the Palestinians in Gaza or in general, and they will bring this jihadist chaos to their doorstep From Gaza >

I've become a missionary with one message. Every time I meet a young person, the same words: have children, get married, build a family. I did not decide on this calling. It overtook me. And it overtook me for a single reason. I had no idea. I genuinely did not understand how much joy, how much meaning, how much sheer beauty pours out of a child until I was holding one of my own and felt the floor of my life drop into something deeper than I knew was there. I grew up white, affluent, secular, comfortable, and insulated. That world does not put babies in front of you. None of my friends were starting families. Out of my whole circle, almost no one has a big one. We were not formed by the presence of children. We were formed by their absence, by the strange quiet of homes built for two careers and no cradle. And a person believes what his world shows him. So we believed. What we believed was a lie. It is a lie with an author, and that the author is the enemy of joy himself. It is the gospel of the world, and its commandment is wait. Wait until you are older. Wait until the career is built and the savings are stacked and the twenties are properly spent. Enjoy your freedom. You are not ready. It does not arrive sounding like temptation. It arrives sounding like wisdom, like prudence, like the responsible thing, and that is exactly why it works. The most effective lies are the ones that wear the face of virtue. And the maddening thing is that it collapses from every angle at once. It is not rooted in biology, because the body is made for this work precisely in the years we are told to postpone it. The flesh keeps a calendar the culture pretends not to see. And it is not rooted in theology either. You will not find this deferral anywhere in the Christian imagination, in any of the fathers, in any of the scriptures. So choose whatever lens you like. Take the cold secular measure or the ancient sacred one. By either light the counsel is rotten. It is bad for the body and bad for the soul and bad for the society downstream of both. This is why I have come to see it as one of the central tragedies of my generation. Every age carries its own wound. The Great Depression was a depression of bread, a scarcity in the world of matter, hunger you could measure. Ours is a depression of a different order. It is a famine of the spirit in the middle of abundance. We have more than any people who ever lived and we are starving in a way our ancestors would not recognize, because the thing we are refusing cannot be bought and cannot be banked. The ones most made to give and receive this love are quietly declining it. They are walking away from the one inheritance that actually compounds, and the cruelest part is that they do not feel the loss as loss. You cannot grieve what you were taught not to want. That is the deepest cut of it. The lie does not only steal the thing. It steals the capacity to know the thing was stolen. A man can spend his whole life on the far side of a door he never knew was a door, mistaking the wall for the edge of the world. Because this beauty is not ordinary beauty. It is not the pleasure of a good meal or a clear morning. It is participation in something that comes down from above, the same generative love that spoke everything out of nothing and called it good. To make a person, to be undone and remade by loving that person more than your own life, is to be drawn for a moment inside the very act that holds the cosmos together. A child does not merely add to your life. A child reorders the soul. It teaches you what you are by asking everything of you, and you discover, kneeling there exhausted at three in the morning, that you had a capacity for self gift you never suspected, a depth in yourself you had no other way to reach. In the Gospel of John, on the last night, Jesus prays, these things I have spoken to you that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete. And I have come to understand why family is the road into that fullness, why it is not one path among many but the one most fitted to the shape of the promise. Consider who is praying. Christ does not come to us as a lone figure dropped out of the sky. He comes out of a family older than the world, the eternal communion of Father and Son, the love between them so total and so alive that theologians dared to call it a third person. Before there was anything, there was a family. The deepest fact about reality is not a force or a law or a void. It is a household. It is begetting and being begotten, giving and receiving, a Father who is only a Father because there is a Son. So when Jesus speaks of joy made complete, he is not pointing away from family toward something higher. He is pointing toward the very thing he came from, the life he has known from eternity and came to share. His joy is the joy of belonging utterly to a Father and pouring himself out for those he loves. When you marry, when you bring a child into the world, when you wear yourself down in the small unseen labors of a home, you are not stepping outside that divine life. You are stepping into a small image of it. Your family is a created echo of an uncreated one. The love you give your child rhymes with the love the Father has for the Son. The exhaustion, the tenderness, the way a parent would tear the sky open to protect a sleeping infant, all of it is the heavens pressed faintly into flesh, the eternal household leaving its fingerprint on yours. That is why the joy is not merely added to family but completed in it. We were made in the image of a God who is, at his very root, relation and gift and generation. To found a family is to do the most Godlike thing a creature can do, to participate from below in the begetting that God does from all eternity. Your home becomes a window. Through it, dimly and imperfectly, you glimpse the country you came from and are going to. And now a word for the young people reading this, the ones who do not yet have children. I want to tell you what it is like from where I stand. When I am out somewhere, a restaurant, anywhere, and a large family comes through the door, the noise and the chaos and the small bodies of them, something happens in me on two levels at once. The first is joy. A pure gladness at the sight, the way you feel watching something good and alive. But underneath it, almost in the same instant, a sadness reaches up and takes hold of my heart. Because I know now, at my age, after my own years of waiting, that I will never have that. I will never know the particular fruit of a family that large, the fullness of that table, the weight of all those lives gathered under one roof. The door to it has quietly closed, and I felt it close. And I am telling you plainly, because I love you and have no reason to lie to you: you will feel this too. You will. The day will come when you see what you passed up, and you will recognize the ache for what it is, and it will be too late to answer it. So please, learn from a man who got it wrong. Let my regret be worth something by becoming your wisdom. Do not wait yourself into a grief you cannot undo. Choose now, while the door is open, so that you may step into a joy that does not end.

How would you know what that person is? isnโ€™t that right? Regarding the topic of gender and preference in terms of your role during intercourse, it is a private and sensitive matter. Since you are not living with them, you have no reason to judge them on whether they are a top or bottom. I feel that we have no right to judge people on these matters. Where is the triangle? Alex O'Connor thinks consciousness is the one thing materialism can't explain away and he has a deceptively simple argument for it. Close your eyes. Picture a triangle. You can see it. The shape, the angles, maybe even the colour. It's right there, vivid and undeniable. Now ask yourself: where is that triangle? According to Alex, this single question cuts to the heart of one of philosophy's oldest problems. A strict materialist, someone who believes everything in the universe reduces to physical matter has to say that triangle exists somewhere in the neurons of your brain. But if a neurosurgeon cracked open your skull right now, they wouldn't find a triangle anywhere inside. "If everything you experience is reducible to the material when I close my eyes and see a triangle, there really is a triangle there. I can see it. It's there. And I think well, where is that triangle? The materialist has to say it's reducible to just somewhere in your brain. But if I cut open your brain I'm not going to find a triangle inside of it." He anticipates the obvious pushback. When he raised this on YouTube, commenters pointed to computers as a counter-example: if you cut open a computer, you won't find the triangle it's displaying on screen either. But the hardware is still producing a real image on a real screen. Alex's response is that this analogy doesn't hold because the mind has no screen. There is no separate interface between the brain's processing and the experience of seeing. The brain is the computer and the screen. Which only deepens the mystery: somehow, purely physical processes are generating a first-person, subjective experience: colours, shapes and images that can't be located anywhere in physical space. "It's as if the computer itself somehow had a triangle in the computer's own first-person subjective experience. Like where is that triangle that you can picture in your head? Where the hell is it?" For Alex, consciousness isn't just another interesting puzzle in the philosophy of mind. It's the big objection to materialism. The thing that, once you sit with it, seems to demand that there is something more going on than matter arranged in clever ways. He points to something as ordinary as dreaming as a case in point. Every night you produce vivid images full scenes, faces, colours without any external input. An entire visual world conjured from nowhere. Where does it come from? Where does it go? "Even just when you have an average dream, it's fascinating to think what's going on there. You've got images in your head, you can close your eyes and you can picture things, you can see colours, you can see shapes in your head. Like where are those shapes?" The triangle thought experiment has a way of making this undeniable. It's not abstract. You can do it right now. And when you do, you run headfirst into the hard problem of consciousness: the gap between the physical description of the brain and the felt quality of experience that no amount of neuroscience has yet bridged. Whether you find Alex's argument convincing or not, the question it raises is genuine: how does purely physical matter give rise to the inner world we each inhabit a world of colours, shapes, memories, and dreams that exists nowhere except in the first person?

Sun-gazing to improve eyesight and eye-health? OK. Letโ€™s break it down. See this video attached? It has more than 1 million views and close to 50K likes. In the video, a guy, who is the co-founder of The Satvic Movement, is trying to "naturalize" the Indians by claiming that everything scientific is โ€œunnatural and synthetic.โ€ He goes on to claim that he got rid of his โ€œglassesโ€ by looking at the Sun, a process known as sun-gazing โ€“ during dawn and at dusk which improved his eye health. He gives no scientific explanation for this, apart from a brightly lit well-edited video. Why do people require glasses? These are commonly due to disorders that affect the eye lens โ€“ to correct blurry vision that affects distance (nearsightedness โ€“ also called myopia), up close (farsightedness โ€“ also called hypermetropia), or both, along with difficulty in distinguishing certain shapes (astigmatism). Glasses work to correct your vision and are designed to alter the direction of light rays so that they shine correctly on your retina (the rearmost part of the eye where the light falls to create vision through multi-complex coordination of nerves), allowing you to see properly. These groups of disorders that affect the lens are called refractive errors and wearing spectacles are the easiest and most efficient and safest way to correcting vision in such affected people. Donโ€™t want to wear glasses? There are other effective ways to go about it โ€“ such as wearing contacts or opting for a simple, minimally-invasive surgery such as laser-based. Here is a simple explainer on these: Now Sun-Gazing. Sun-gazing is a meditative practice that involves looking at and focusing on the sun. It is usually promoted by unscientific groups, who have close attachments to pseudoscientific practices such as Ayurveda or Yoga and are deeply involved in religion & spiritualism, science-denialism, chemophobia (only modern inventions are chemicals, rest are all natural), irrationality and fearmongering against realistic-healthcare options. The Satvic Movement is EXACTLY that. There is no scientific research to support the practice of sun-gazing. There is no empirical evidence to support that sun-gazing improves eye health or can help you correct eye-lens related disorders. While several bloggers and enthusiasts write about the benefits of sun gazing, no studies or reputable authorities mention or endorse the practice. However, there is evidence that the practice can be extremely HARMFUL. A 1968 paper in the British Medical Journal described people who damaged their retinas - the light-sensitive layers of nerve tissue at the back of the eye that receive images and sends them as electric signals through the optic nerve to the brain โ€“ after prolonged periods of sun-gazing. A 1973 paper reported severe damaged to inner layers of the eye after people sun-gazed or focused their vision towards the sun for intermittent/prolonged periods โ€“ some where under the influence of LSD recreational drugs. A 1985 report showed that gazing at the sun resulted in fluid leakage and blood vessel damage to the light sensitive structures inside the eye. A 2013 report showed that a woman, after sun-gazing developed persistent vision damage up to one year which required aggressive care. A recent 2022 paper describes in detail the adverse/negative effects seen with sun-gazing and effects of exposure to solar radiation on the eyes. Short-term exposure has been shown to cause photokeratitis and photo retinitis where the cornea of the eye gets damaged. In contrast, long-term exposure has been shown to cause cataracts, pterygium and cancers of the cornea and conjunctiva, and cancers of the eyelids. The evidence supporting these claims is quite compelling. Sun-gazing DOES NOT help you get freedom from your glasses. It will harm you more. It is a primal and primitive practice promoted by loonies who are health-illiterate and dangerous to the public health at large. Do not take health care advice from such people or groups of people. Discuss your healthcare options with your doctor for better understanding and effective outcomes. Stay away from โ€œMovementsโ€ that detach you away from reality and leave you without the capacity for rational and logical thinking.

I Built a 37.0 Profit Factor Bot by Cracking Every TradingView Source Code tradingview is a gold mine hiding in plain sight and i just found the master key to unlock every single secret hidden within its community scripts. most traders spend their entire lives staring at candles and hoping for a miracle while the actual alpha is buried in the open source code that nobody bothers to look at. i used to be that guy who sat there getting liquidated at three in the morning because i thought i could outplay the market with my gut feeling and some drawings on a screen. it turns out that the game is completely rigged against you if you are trading manually but there is a specific way to flip the script. i am going to show you how to stop guessing and start knowing exactly what works across every possible market condition before you ever risk a single dollar. i spent years losing money and thousands on developers because i thought i was not smart enough to code the systems myself but i was wrong. the first step to cracking the market is realizing that every indicator on the super charts has a source code section that is completely open to the public. you can literally scroll through the community scripts and pull the exact logic for thousands of different strategies that people claim are the holy grail of trading. but the secret is not just having the code because most of these indicators are actually garbage that will blow your account up in a week. this is where the real loop opens because you need a way to test these ideas across twenty five different data sets in seconds rather than months. i use a custom setup with ai agents specifically a sub agent i call the backtest architect to handle the heavy lifting of turning pine script into python code. the goal is to create a factory where you can feed in a raw indicator and get back a full report on its expectancy and profit factor without lifting a finger. most people find one strategy and marry it for life but a real data dog knows that you have to iterate to success or you will get left behind. i am running eighty one different backtests right now because i know that ninety percent of what i find will be trash but that remaining ten percent is where the wealth is made. the backtest architect knows exactly how to structure the folders and data paths so that we are testing everything from the base indicator to complex versions with filters. you might think that popular tools like fibonacci or order blocks are the way to go because everyone on social media talks about them like they are law. but when i actually ran the numbers through the machine the results were embarrassing and most of those strategies just resulted in negative expectancy. it is a dangerous trap to follow the crowd into a trade just because some guru said a certain level was important when the data shows it is a coin flip at best. the dynamic swing indicator was one of the few that actually held its weight during the recent massive testing sessions we ran. it was pulling in profit factors of over thirty seven with annualized returns that look too good to be true until you see the trade list. we combined it with filters like the adx and the money flow index to see if we could refine the signals and the results were absolutely staggering. when you have a system that can run through forty data sets while you are drinking tea you realize that manual trading is a form of self harm. i realized this after spending hundreds of thousands on apps and devs only to find out that i could just learn to build these bots myself live on the internet. the speed of iteration is the only thing that matters in this game because the faster you can fail the faster you can find the one strategy that actually prints. one of the biggest hurdles i faced was thinking that i needed to be a math genius or a senior engineer to automate my trading systems. the truth is that code is the great equalizer because it allows a regular person to compete with massive hedge funds by using the same logic and speed. i decided to learn everything in public because i wanted people to see the process of losing money with liquidations and then finally finding a path to automation. the reality of the market is that it moves in cycles and what worked yesterday will almost certainly fail tomorrow unless you are constantly testing. that is why i built the agents to automatically look through the results folder and rank the top performers based on a composite score. it takes all the emotion out of the process because i am no longer looking for a reason to enter a trade i am just looking at a csv file that tells me the truth. if you are still drawing lines on a chart and hoping for the best you are basically playing a game of chance against a high speed casino. the transition from a manual trader to a systems builder is the single most important pivot you will ever make in your life. it is not about being right or wrong it is about having a positive expectancy that has been proven across thousands of trades and multiple years of history. i had to fix a few errors in the short selling logic where the agents were getting confused between maximum and minimum values for take profit levels. these tiny bugs are the difference between a winning system and a blown account so you have to be willing to dive into the code and refine the machine. but once the system is tuned and the sub agents are running it becomes a beautiful workflow that functions entirely without your input. we are currently moving through the editors picks and the trending indicators one by one because i want to have a database of every single strategy on the platform. being a data dog means you never stop searching for that edge and you never settle for a strategy that just looks okay on a single chart. you have to demand excellence from your code because the market will not give you a single inch of mercy if you are lazy with your research. the ultimate goal is to have fully automated systems trading for you so you can focus on scaling rather than staring at a screen for ten hours a day. i am already up to over eighty backtests in this single session and i plan on hitting hundreds more by the end of the week. once you realize that you can crack the code of any indicator you see on the internet you will never look at a chart the same way again. this is the power of using agents to bridge the gap between a raw idea and a finished trading bot that actually works in the real world. i am done with getting liquidated and i am done with the stress of over trading because the code handles everything with cold precision. the path to success is paved with data and if you are not willing to automate your process you are just waiting for your next liquidation to happen
