Today, a football tournament was hosted in my honour, and it was more than just a game, it was an opportunity to connect with the people. The youths of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei came out in large numbers to witness the finals, celebrate together, and engage with us. Moments like this remind me why the grassroots matter so much. The people have identified with us, and we have identified with them. Their love, support, and belief in this movement continue to motivate us every day. The bond is real, the connection is genuine, and together we will continue to build a brighter future for Y2G. Haske ya zo.

What started as plans for the recently concluded JuanCast voting for Andres turned into something a little different today. 🤍 Our group initially received funds intended for stars and voting efforts. But after carefully weighing the situation and seeing how much the gap had widened, knowing it would require even more resources to keep pushing, we decided to take a step back and redirect the initiative into something meaningful in a different way. While we continue to support both Ash and Andres wholeheartedly, we also wanted to use this opportunity to give back to people who deserve appreciation every single day. Today, we were able to give free meals, rice, and water to our hardworking drivers. It may be a small gesture, but we hope it somehow made their day a little lighter. This weekend project reminded us that support can go beyond votes and numbers. Sometimes, the best way to show love and unity is by extending it to the community around us. Thank you to everyone who trusted and supported this initiative. 🩵🧡

With essential goods, warm smiles, and shared moments of care, we aimed to bring even a little light and comfort to those still recovering from the aftermath.
