With the support we received from our Cheffies, we were able to distribute 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀, reaching families in both communities. We were also... able to provide meals and refreshments to 𝟴𝟬 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀. A simple call for help became a collective effort, and we are grateful to everyone who chose to be part of it. The team at WCK’s Field Kitchen in Mayotte wrapped up production last week after preparing more than 580,000 hot meals for communities impacted by Cyclone Chido. With the support of these local chefs and community leaders, we were able to focus our efforts on providing traditional dishes that brought comfort to families in need. Day 3 of supporting Nairobi flood victims. The Sonko Rescue Team continues to work around the clock to assist affected families by facilitating the release of bodies from mortuaries and providing some financial support for burial expenses. We are still receiving and verifying cases at our offices to ensure that every family can give their loved ones a dignified send-off.Once we conclude handling the Nairobi cases, we shall extend our helping hand to other parts of the country to support families affected by floods who are facing similar challenges. Our thoughts and prayers remain with all the families affected during this difficult time. 🙏

💔 My heart goes out to everyone affected by the Texas floods. May God be with you. 🙏 I am determined not to give up . We must correct the 2019 Texas hemp bill (HB 1325) and stop the assault of THC in Texas neighborhoods. 🫶🏽 We are proud of the overwhelming support for SB3 in both the House and Senate. We are commend Office of the Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Sen. Charles Perry , and all the elected officials who truly understand the dangers of THC. We remain hopeful that Greg Abbott will recognize the costs of THC and listen to the families who have been impacted. He is doing a excellent job supporting families affected by the floods and we look forward to his attention to our families at the appropriate time.

THIS INDEED HAS BEEN A GORY CHRISTMAS FOR US” We have had to celebrate Christmas with a heavy heart. Unprovokeded attacks were unleashed on several of our communities. Most of the communities attacked in Barkin Ladi share Borders with Bokkos Local Government. We have not less than 17 communities that were completely touched and brought down by these Bandits and Criminals. It has been a very terrifying Christmas for us on the Plateau. This particular set of attacks was well-coordinated with heavy weapons. The Security agencies must do their work to be able to identify who are the sponsors of these attacks. We will push them to be able to unravel all those responsible for these attacks. Until we cut off the supply in terms of sponsorship, we may never be able to see the end of this. I will meet with the president today and give him accurate reports. The Army Headquarters has responded. The IG has also responded and more reinforcements are being sent. I urge everyone to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities for prompt security response. We must stay united to defend our communities. Plateau is the home of Peace and Tourism and by God's grace it will remain so.

This is the new cultural norm that we are introducing in our communities, we are taking charge of our country. We are building a clean and safe environment for our communities. We don't have to wait on the government to instill order, in the absence of government, the people shall govern. We plead with all communities to do the same. It is time for South Africans of all races to come together, work together in unity and build our country. Let's learn to put our differences aside and look beyond race. Father, We pray to You this Monday morning with both heavy hearts and grateful spirits, acknowledging the sorrows of this past weekend. We lift up the families of the firefighters lost in the ambush in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and the injured who are now healing. Grant them peace and comfort in their grief and grant them strength to carry on. We pray for this community shaken by this violence, that they may find resilience in the face of such terrible loss. We also give thanks, Lord, for the moments of courage by first responders and by local, state, and federal law enforcement. We are humbled by the outpouring of kindness and prayers across our nation. Father, We pray to You this Monday morning with both heavy hearts and grateful spirits, acknowledging the sorrows of this past weekend. We lift up the families of the firefighters lost in the ambush in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and the injured who are now healing. Grant them peace and comfort in their grief and grant them strength to carry on. We pray for this community shaken by this violence, that they may find resilience in the face of such terrible loss. We also give thanks, Lord, for the moments of courage by first responders and by local, state, and federal law enforcement. We are humbled by the outpouring of kindness and prayers across our nation. KAIRAIN HOMIES OUTREACH PROGRAM 💜 We have successfully raised a total of P32,608.93, and thanks to your generous contributions, we have been able to provide assistance to 85 individuals in need. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated, those who helped organize fundraising efforts, the talented individuals who busked, and everyone who reached out to offer their support. Without your kindness, none of this would be possible. The residents of Taba-ao in Tabogon, 6009 Cebu, are very thankful for the basic necessities we were able to supply. The joy in their eyes is evident, and we even had the opportunity to give some biscuits to children, which brought such smiles to their faces. It truly warms the heart to hear them express their gratitude with simple "thank yous." We would like to give a special mention to the 14 KaiRain homies team Cebu, particularly Jenn and her family, Jhinx, and Mamita, for their tireless efforts in grocery shopping, packing, and distributing the aid. While they were traveling, they also saw signage indicating the need for food and water, so they stopped to give aid. While they were on their way home, they still have rice and water, which they gave to the people on the side of the road. They experienced the chill of the mornings, the sweltering heat during the midday, and the rain in the afternoons on their journey. Despite these challenges, they remained steadfast in delivering support to the people of Taba-ao, Tabogon. We are immensely grateful for your dedication. 💜 Once again, thank you to each and every one of you. Let us always remember that during times of need, we Filipinos are united in our efforts to help one another. The festive star rises above all of us — above those who defend, and those who wait. This year, many of us are once again spending Christmas far from our loved ones, yet we remain together. In every call from home, in every message asking, "How are you?", in every moment of looking up at the starry sky and knowing that your loved ones are gazing at it with the same hope. We remain at war today so that tomorrow we can celebrate with those we love and protect — with our families and those who are waiting for us and for a miracle. The Christmas star is a sign of our return to those who await us, so that we may begin to celebrate together. We will do everything to come back to our loved ones and to bring home everyone who is forced to celebrate Christmas far from their families today. This is our deepest dream, and all of us are working to make it come true. Happy holidays!

It took us two months to begin rebuilding and arranging our home. And we are still burdened with debts we have not been able to repay, due to the overwhelming cost of rebuilding our home. To this day, we are still clearing rubble from inside it. And the answer to the question is no — the house is not safe. On the very first night, pieces of plaster fell from the ceiling onto the bed. We were forced to remove all the plaster from the walls with our own hands. We are still trying to settle and adapt, using every possible way just to live. We still love our home. Even though a large part of it has been removed — the kitchen, the hallway, and part of the living room — we continue to see it as our home, our first and last refuge.
